Hey there, this is Clawshrimpy, and I've started this new video liveblog of me taking a a detailed analytic look at Gao Gai Gar. I do normally have a blog a review mecha anime at http://appliedphlebotinum.wordpress.com My last review was for one for Gundam SEED, but a viewer asked me to review a work I actually LIKE, so here we are. and I thought I'd share this one with you guys as well, given my rather outspoken opinion on the forums reguarding how much I like Gao Gai Gar / how much I think Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann was a disgrace/misuse of the innovations the 1990s gave Super Robot with the Brave Series, possibly as sort of an explanation if anything.

This video here is the introduction of sorts. Originally it was going to be 2 videos (I recorded both halves of the video at different times.) but I just decided to merge them into one video. The first half is me explaining about the history of the Brave franchise (and a little bit about the Eldoran series too.) and the second half is my actual introduction to Gao Gai Gar and the Media Blasters localization incident.

You can find the introduction video at:

I hope you all find this sort of informative or can take....something away from this. and I hope you'll stick around as I make videos of me analyzing and providing an opinionated guide to the various episode of Gao Gai Gar TV, and it's OVA, FINAL.

E-mail me your comments, feedback, discussion, and disagreements to appliedphlebotinum@gmail.com

My blog also has a article here on TV Tropes, from my previous Gundam SEED review: http://tinyurl.com/297ahbb

See you soon.
