Chapter Two: Describing the Shadows

A commander who will be called Mr. Bob had kidnapped Jayde and put her in a tube to harvest her energy. Shadows have magical blood which allows them to use "Shadow Magic", and it's also a fuel source! The machine explodes and Jayde escapes.

She sees another shadow along the way and stalks him. Eventually, the guy brandishes a knife and holds it against her head. Fuck, man! You could just tell her to buzz off! Jayde reveals her full name, and the shadow reveals that he's her uncle. Jayde then gets a vision of her uncle and dad both fighting, with her dad using psychic powers.

This is her special skill. You see, each shadow has a special ability to go along with their ability to shoot lasers, make forcefields, ect., and Jayde's is Telemetry, the ability to look into the past of an object, which later presents a huge-ass plot hole.

Okay, Jayde goes into this temple of the shadows, and it is introduced that a shadow being born with gold hair or gold eyes is very rare, and the gold shadow is then announced to be the ruler of the shadows. This shadow has both gold eyes and hair, so he's also a Mary Sue in that "special snowflake" area.

Then Jayde goes beyond this curtain thing and is in a room made out of Mind Fuck. She answers a phone and a tongue comes out, goes through one ear, then the other, and starts babbling nonsense. And then nobody mentions this again.

....

Big-Lipped Alligator Moment? In my story? It's more likely than you think.

She returns home and is telekinetically sent to bed by her dad, then wakes up the next morning to visit her uncle for training. Jayde is given a shiv, and then gets a flashback of it being made. She asks why she's getting these visions, and her uncle explains it. Then, she never has this power go out of control again. Okay, so her uncle does the Kage Bunshin no Jutsu, and Jayde is knocked out for the third time.

Then, she convienently comes across a lost and found thing, and asks to have a bag, after seeing a flashback of a guy trying to throw it away for no reason. The shopkeeper says no, then Jayde goes all Weegee all up in his grill and he gives it to her.

Chapter End Dos.

Just remember to give this feedback. There isn't much material now, but I would appreciate it if someone could give me ideas for what to change in the remake I plan on doing. Next chapter skips forward to Jayde being 16.

"Shadow Magic"? Pardon, but were you a fan of Yu-Gi-Oh! when you wrote this? Because that's what they call magic in that world. Also, as a book, TV show, or movie, this would be, yes, awful, however, you needn't change much storywise were you to make it a video game. And some extra chara, reveal she's not related to her uncle, make it so the early stuff doesn't happen until she's about sixteen, or start with her remembering it, and you are on the way to a decent dating sim!
