Lunch Part 3
Waiting for lunch to arrive. Made a little smalltalk with my tablemate.
Apparently they loaded the wrong meal option while back in California; they have kosher meals instead of vegan. Whoops. Oh well, it won't kill me, I hope, and they have vegetarian options.
Some of the highways that we've passed look like they'd be good for bicycling. Weather app says it's 64 and sunny in Marfa, which is apparently where I'm near.
The dining car has nice touches. Fake flowers, great view, and jazzy holiday music over the speakers. I almost would rather eat while the train is moving; I like watching the landscape roll by.
