Prologue: Welcomes and information

Hello, all who are currently reading this! This is the opening page of what will be the storage place for all my liveblogs of the Fire Emblem series of games. In here, I will be updating chapter by chapter as I play through the games and hopefully make those updates as fun to read as possible!

The next page will be a Table of Contents, since this will eventually get fairly large, and it will make categorizing which games are being covered in which liveblog installments much easier.

Continue forth onto the next page, and hopefully enjoy your time reading!

I've suspected that Myrrh and Morva were the last remnants of a group of Elibian manakete who were separated from the greater population during their retreat through the Dragon's Gate.

On a related note, I also think that the Demon King is a creature from between worlds who trailed them to Magvel. These theories would explain why they had mixed feelings about helping humanity the first time around.

A rather interesting theory. In this case, what may have separated them from the others in the Dragon's Gate could very well have been the Demon King, who targeted them and eventually tracked them through the Dark Temple, where the Demon King is slain in Magvel.

I don't think that the Magvel Manaketes are specfically related to any other tribe. The same way that there are Manaketes in Elibe unlinked to the Manaketes in Akaneia, there just happens to be Manaketes in Magvel. They probably all share a common ancestor somewhere down the line, but I do doubt that they are specfically offshoots of each other.

It's worth noting that Myrrh and Morva's dragon tribe doesn't bear resemblance to any incarnation of any other tribe. The closest is to the "classic" version of the Akaneia Fire Dragons, but the DS remakes make an already slight resemblance even slighter. So we don't even know what tribe they are.

...Though, personally, between both Myrrh and Morva being referred to by the title, and them having similar properties with the Divines ("monster busting" properties and god-like power; after all, aside from his fate in the game itself, Morva is probably the closest to a Magvel Naga equivalent) my guess is that Morva and Myrrh are...Great Dragons.

No clue what the Demon King's deal is. With all the mythology around dragonkind, having non-draconic (un)holy beings (such as the Demon King, Mila and Duma, even Ashera and Yune) always makes me a bit confused as to how it all works out. He could just be an evil god who rules over demon kind I guess?

Yeah, the lack of resemblance does seem to make them distinct from other Manaketes. I'd probably place them as the Magvelian equivalent to Divine Dragons, with Great Dragon seeming a decent title for them.

As for the Demon King, I'd say that certain high-tier magical beings (notably the ones you mentioned) are roughly equivalent to Divine and Fell Dragons in terms of power, and are simply the being that took the spot of top dog in their home continent. Ashera and Yune were the top in Tellius, Morva (draconic, but acts as the opposing force to the Demon King) and the Demon King (who I'd suspect fits your general description; a demonic deity that other demons obey) in Magvel, and Mila and Duma (two gods similar to Ashera and Yune, but not directly connected, simply opposing forces) in Baronsa (sp) and Sofia.

Valentia, which is split between Zofia (Mila) and Rigel (Duma).

You were close though. Barensia is the Japanese term for the continent, and Sofia for the country.
