Prologue: Welcomes and information

Hello, all who are currently reading this! This is the opening page of what will be the storage place for all my liveblogs of the Fire Emblem series of games. In here, I will be updating chapter by chapter as I play through the games and hopefully make those updates as fun to read as possible!

The next page will be a Table of Contents, since this will eventually get fairly large, and it will make categorizing which games are being covered in which liveblog installments much easier.

Continue forth onto the next page, and hopefully enjoy your time reading!

Sleeping Garret? Hmm, why didn't I think of that? Anyway, now you can break out the Divine Weapons with a margin of safety, unless you have another plan for the Hammerne. Myself, I used it on the Warp staff all three times.

Normally Percival has a conversation with Douglas prior to the map and starts as a hostile NPC in the northwest corner with some cavaliers, recruitable with Elphin or Lalum, same as 13. You get a Knight Crest if they all survive, which is easy unless the wyvern goes for them. I had Miledy deal with it.

I'm likely going to see if I can't make good use of that warp staff now that it can be repaired. Time to put these two staff users to work!

Big, big chapter coming up. Bring a couple thieves and your Silver Card, as the Member Card and Secret Shop are here (very top left corner). There's two characters to recruit, one being incredibly obvious who you'll need, though the other, Hugh, requires 10,000 G if you want him to have good bases. If you don't need him, you can just steal his Member Card and kill him. To get the side chapter, Douglas (enemy) must not die, so you may need Clarine and Rutger to dodge tank him for awhile while everyone else goes on ahead.

You can save a little time for recruiting the other with the Warp Staff since he's behind a breakable wall.

The Warp staff can also be useful in dealing with a siege tome user near one of the start zones.

Don't kill Hugh! THE HUMANITY!!

If you had Lalum she can stall Douglas in a chokepoint, since he won't attack her. Doesn't work with Elphin AFAIK.

I suggest stealing one of the boss's items. Or even two of them!

They are some very good items.

About Hugh: He's a balance between Lugh and Lilina. Not as fast as the former, not as strong as the latter, but still decent. Surprisingly decent Defense and the best CON of the three. Of course, being So S, that really only matters with Bolting and Forblaze since everything weighs practically nothing.

It took a while, but by endgame Hugh was overall superior to Lilina since they both capped Magic and he was more balanced in everything else (of course I paid full price for Canas' son!).
