Introduction and Poll

I've got most of a summer to do things with and I feel like liveblogging something. June got me addicted to EU 3, so there we go. Since screenshot L Ps are kind of clumsy here, this is going to be a video liveblog.

But before I start, I need you guys to tell me what country I should be. Because there are a LOT of countries in the game, I'll narrow it down to this list:

  • Any of the native tribes (Iroquois, Huron, Shawnee, Cherokee, Creek, Aztec, Zapotec, Maya, Inca, Chimu).
  • Any country that can unify with its neighbors into a larger country. I won't enumerate this just yet because there's a lot of them, but the possible unifications are: Great Britain, Spain, Italy, Scandinavia, Germany, Hindustan (India), Ireland, Japan, the Mughal Empire, the Netherlands, or Russia.
  • And any other country that you can argue for convinctingly. It will help your argument a lot if that has some kind of obvious goal. I'm not going to enumerate this because I'm not familiar with all the countries in the game, but to give an example of what I'm talking about, Byzantium can attempt to get all its lost territory back from the Ottomans.

EDIT: I realized I didn't originally post when the voting would close. A week seems excessive, but I want to give people time to vote, so this is going to close the midnight after July 5th if nobody's voted recently.

EDIT 2: Now I've realized quite how boring a video of EU 3 is (and that you can in fact embed screenshots here), ignore that line up there that says this is going to be a video LP.

This is great, keep it up! The "relations with Ferrara" and "pockets" parts are comedy gold.

So what does "centralized" do?

Centralization yields so much benefits it's not funny, increased stability cost aside. One of its bigger bonuses is increased tax modifier, which means more money to your monthly research/minting and more annual income.

And I'm amused about the Ferrara bit. Will you be meeting Ulm next, I wonder?

So, I've got about one more update for episode 1, and then I've also already got the playthrough for episode 2 completed.

No spoilers, but maybe a hint: I now have nine provinces.
