Shadow and the freedom fighters had made it to the castle walls the archers were pinning them down. They quickly took cover behind a pile of rocks.
Shadow we can't stay here they'll get us in a matter of minutes Uncle Chuck shouted over to him.
Maybe we could throw something at them Antoine suggested.
What our cover not a chance said Knuckles.
Wait! I got it Knuckles throw me Shadow said.
Throne Room
Conor sat at a table with Fiona, Rouge, Sally, Amy Tails and Blaze they were eating dinner as a guard ran into the room.
Sire they're in the castle we must leave a Guard said panicked.
Conor looked at him.
You will do no such thing continue to fight them Conor said coldly.
No! Fuck you you're a CRAZY BASTARD! The guard shouted at Conor.
Wait don't I'm sorry I was just joking the guard said shaking.
Conor pulled the trigger and out popped a flag saying bang.
So was I Conor said waving it around.
Conor aimed for his heart and fired the flag shot out of the gun and burst right through the guards chest.
The commanders gave a salute and ran out closing the doors behind them.
So hard to find good help these days hey Fiona Conor said sitting down again and returned to eating.
Fiona gave him a grin and continued herself.
Dungeon
Shadow followed by the freedom fighters burst into the dungeon.
Sonic! Where are you Shadow shouted.
Down here Sonic called out.
Shadow ran down to the cell and ripped the door off its hinges and ran over to Sonic.
Sonic are you alright? Shadow said giving him a hug.
Well beside the various torture and other things I guess I'm fine Sonic said smiling.
Ok let's go Sonic said.
Throne Room
Conor sat looking around. Everyone was silent.
What you're all worried huh Conor said taking a drink of red wine.
Don't worry I believe in you Fiona said taking his hand.
I know that Conor said smiling.
They all looked at him and he smiled.
Em… Tails do me a favour move a little to the left Conor said.
Eh…OK Tails said. Suddenly the Main door burst open a chunk of wood pierced the table where
Tails was just sitting he stared at Conor who could only smile.
Sonic, Shadow and Silver your just in time for Desert I hear its strawberry cheese cake but while you wait won't you have some of this delicious beef curry the chief really out did himself this time.
Conor looked down at his fork and then Shadow.
I was eating that Conor said in his cocky tone.
Not thirsty huh I would offer you something to eat Silver but Shadow made short work of the dinner Conor said with a laugh.
Conor got up.
Fiona darling take a seat I've got something to take care of.
Fiona got up and sat in the throne and crossed her legs.
Got to say Shadow you took longer than I expected I mean I made it easy for Bunnie to come in I let her roam around the castle to find Sonics cell and I even told her how many soldiers I had the King and Queen had the lay out of the castle but you still took so long to get here Conor said fixing his tie and glasses.
It ends here Conor Sonic said walking up to him so they were face to face.
Why my dear delusional Hedgehog it hasn't even begun Conor said with a smirk.
Sonic threw a punch at Conor who caught it and began to squeeze Sonics hand.
How long can you last Conor said applying more pressure Shadow ran over and kicked him right in the face Conor flew back words but kicked his legs and landed on his feet his brush off his jacket and looked at Sonic Silver picked Conor up and smashed him into the table the girls screamed as spikes shot out of Conors stomach.
He turned his head and looked at Rouge.
Wanna kiss it and make it better he said with a laugh he got up and pushed the spikes fully through his body and pulled it out the other side he threw them down and flexed his robotic arm.
Time to Bow Down To The King Conor said and he ran at the hedgehogs.

Chapter 27 The Battle

Conor ran at Sonic and punched him right in the face knocking him back Conor then jumped in the air and did a spinning kick into Shadows stomach Silver put out his hand for E.S.P but Conor grabbed his hand and threw him into the wall Silver hit it and fell to his knees Sonic had gotten back up and punched Conor in the back of the head Conor fell forwards but quickly got up Conor tried a high kick to Sonics face but Sonic blocked and knocked Conor off his feet with a sweep kick, Shadow ran over and kicked Conor in the back off the head Conor spun on his hands using his legs to kick anyone near him he then leaped into the air he grabbed hold of a pillar and used a spin attack at Shadow, Shadow quickly caught him and threw him Conor moved to hit Silver who ran over to the Conor got him right in the stomach he jumped up and with his right arm punch Shadow in the face he then grabbed Sonic and punch him in the face his stomach and then kicked him in the back of the leg making Sonic drop to his knees Conor grabbed Sonics head and smashed it into his knee Sonic flew back blood running from his nose and mouth but he slowly got up Silver punched Conor and using his E.S.P threw Conor into a stone pillar Shadow dived at him and punched him in the face then kicked Conor in the stomach winding him Conor got to his feet and took a breath but Shadow punched him again and Conor fell to his knees.
You're all talk after all Shadow said looking down at him.
What makes you thing I'm beat Conor said with a laugh.
Look at you your cut, bruised and almost out of energy Silver said.
Am I Conor said he looked at his arms and they quickly healed up like they had never touched him in the first place Conor using his robotic arm smashed Silver in the stomach and then Shadow Conor heard the sound of a rib break then he stood facing Sonic Conor smiled and ran at Sonic his robotic arm clenched in a fist Sonic ran at him they both collided and knocked each other back Conor got up but Sonic struggled to move.
Come on Sonic get back up you can do it Knuckles shouted.
Just stay down it makes it easier for you Sonic Conor said all laughter from is voice gone.
NO! Sonic roared at Conor I'm not giving in.
He jumped up but Conor quickly kicked him in the jaw and knocked onto the ground Sonic tried to get but but Conor put his foot on Sonics head and rubbed his face into the ground. Sonic pushed Conors foot off and tried to get up his arms shook but Conor brought down his foot and put Sonic down again.
Give in your too much fun to kill I mean I could do another scheme you stop it and we have another of these fun showdowns every week I mean aren't you having a blast Conor said sitting down on the ground beside Sonic.
I'll…never…stop…fighting Sonic said.
Conor took off his glasses and looked at him.
Look its over I beat you, you can barely move please don't try and get up Conor said.
No…I won't…give in Sonic said.
Conor looked at Fiona she held a remote control.
Look Sonic I want to show you something knuckles I'll say you'll like this too.
Sorry to disappoint you Conor but you made you mistake Sonic said slowly getting up. Shadow and Silver quickly got up and stood beside Sonic.
Whats that Conor said puzzled.
We can use the chaos emeralds and you can't Sonic said smiling.
What! Conor shouted.
Well Conor want to give in Shadow said although I hope you don't we still have unfinished business.
Conor laughed.
You fell for it I brought out the emeralds so you would transform now the battle really begins Conor said jumping onto the master emerald.
What are you doing you don't have the ability to turn Super Knuckles said.
Conor roared with laughter.
That's right I can't turn Super but I can do something else…
