This is a good liveblog. I should point out, though, that the opening music is from Secret of Mana, and I find the music for the part about the Dark Prognosticus' origins to be the most fitting in the entire series.

The thing is, I did notice that he did make that credit, but he didn't specify what song he used in the game. But thanks for pointing it out. :)

I am SO glad I'm not the only one who laughed at Terra's face. Here's how I see it:

BB: "My life is a wreck, my family is dead, and all my teams are shit, and the world hates me..."

Terra: D:

BB: "Uh...Terra? What the hell happened to your face?"

Terra: D:

BB: "Seriously, I'm trying to pour my heart out to you, and you're just sitting there with that big dumb look on your face!"

Terra: D:

BB: "You know what? Forget it." *leaves and kicks off the plot*

The bit about The Beast not harming those who weren't criminals or bad people was a subtle yet effective way for Mykan to kill two birds with one stone. With that one tidbit, he effectively asserted that Jackie and Jillian were bad people while Terra was not (he does admit that she did bad things in the past, but usually beside the point).

Wait, seriously? And I also used to watch that show when I was a kid and liked it over how freaking cool it was!

Oh, my God, and he named three of the mooks after the villains in the show. That's just...

Yep. Sir Vile, Medeva, and Dr. Beljar were all characters. And in the literary version of this story, the character Kamica is Jacqueline Hyde, yet ANOTHER character from "Where in Time". So yes; at one point, all of Count Logan's minions were stolen straight from Carmen San Diego.

I really wish I could correct my comments...I meant to spell Carmen Sandiego's name right.

Something you forgot to point out...the correct spelling for Starfire's home planet is "Tamaran" not "Tameran". When I hear "Tameran", all I think about is a version of the planet where the Tamaraneans are replaced by Digimon characters. Given Mykan's previous works, I wouldn't expect any less. :P

Yeah, that was something I didn't know until months later after liveblogging the story. Admittedly, I didn't watch the show that much, but to have him misspell it...

Mykan!Beast Boy should have been called \"Dumpsterfire\".

Did you know Mykan has actually dressed up as "Count Logan" in real life at cons? Several of his villains also seem to be "Count Something-or-other."

Ooh! Creeper-off: Mykan vs. Chris-chan! Who wins?

I did not know that. That said, I do know that he dressed up as a Daikari (or Dakari, whatever), complete with a symbol meaning "light" or "darkness" on his shirt. And the crown. Can't forget about the crown. And the sunglasses. (Why he wanted to wear sunglasses, I'll never know.)

And as far as whoever wins...it's really, really safe to say that neither of them are really winning, since their, ahem, "influence" is weakening. Chris-Chan's house burned down a few months ago, and Mykan found himself getting in trouble with the ff.net admins for his behavior and copypasting scenes from many movies/shows/games/whatever. So he ended up deleting most of his fanfictions, with Chapter 1 remaining on those he did write. Because apparentally, he actually said along the lines of "he can't write fanfictions because of CI (Copyright Infringement)".

Oh, and did I mention that he's also on his final strike, and if he screws it up again, he will have his ff.net account taken away?

Glancing at his ED page it seems Mykan's obsession with "Counts" comes from Count Bleck, the Disc One Final Boss of Super Paper Mario. His drawing of Logan, visible on the site, has Bleck's hat and staff badly photoshopped in. Also, Bleck's MacGuffin of choice? The Dark Prognosticus, naturally!

...I'm not going to lie, the whole obsession with "Counts" is new to me. Except that Count Logan is based on Count Bleck. And I know all about how it's taken from Super Paper Mario.

Oh, and did you know that it's originally "Things Change and The End", with a lot more missing scenes and, therefore, a lot more plagiarism? And a blatant ass pull of an ending?

I wouldn't consider Count Bleck the Disc One Final Boss, since you fight him on the last level, immediately before the real Final Boss.

Supposedly, Mykan has been flaming stories that his main critics have on their favorites page, possibly mistaking them for his critics' own stories, resulting in Horustheavenger taking some stories off his favorites list to protect them, including my fanfic, Perfection Is Overrated (he informed me of what happened before he did). That seems unusually petty, even for Mykan.

In any case, I liked this liveblog, especially how it points out and makes fun of the many things wrong with this fic.

Ah. See, I haven't really played the game before. I've heard of it, though.

Yeah, I know about...well, that. It just baffles me that he remains like this, even with all the quiet that's apparentally going on.
