1	* BestKnownForTheFanservice: There are a number of queer men who are into Jerry's fat appearance, lamenting he only appeared like that briefly near the end of the episode and commenting on how well he carries his bulk for an older guy. And then there's Clover (already a massive {{Fanservice}} magnet herself), who's seen as arguably even more attractive being chubby or fat than skinny, to the point most of the fanworks featuring Clover will be based directly off of this one episode alone, with some fanworks even upping her [[RuleThirtyFour breasts and hips to be as sexy and huge as possible]] to the point that she rivals most anime girls. It's gotten to the point that even Sam, Alex and Britney have gotten this treatment in FanWorks.
2	* BrokenAesop: The episode ends with Clover accepting the large hat in the sense of "Well, after being a large size everything, I decided having a big hat size is no big deal" and "It's best being happy with whatever size you are", despite the fact that not only was Clover's weight gain due to a negative catalyst, that being an addiction, but also the first sentence in particular combined with the afflicted individuals seeking to lose their weight when the antidote is nearly finished gives more of the moral "appreciate how you look... unless you're fat."
3	* SignatureScene: Clover fattening up is one of her well known transformations, especially amongst [[ChubbyChaser Fat Admirers]], it became so iconic in the fandom that many FanWorks rewrites based off of this episode will ultimately have Sam, Alex (who almost became fat herself had Sam not pulled her away in time) or sometimes [[SixthRanger Britney]] fatten up as well if not making them even bigger than Clover got in this episode.
4	* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodPlot: At one point during the spies investigation of Bitterwseet's factory, Alex herself nearly ends up tasting a sample of the sugary vial extract that made Clover, Jerry and the entire world fat due to getting thirsty and got her distracted. Had Sam been about 5 seconds too late and not pulled Alex away in time, Alex would have gotten just as fat and addicted to the cookies as Clover did, if not fatter than her depending on how much of the vial she drank, which would have been quite an advantage for them as both fat Clover and fat Alex together would have been more than enough to easily deal with Bittersweet's equally fat goons if not outright bulldoze through them from their combined bulk. Though on the other hand, it would have made things far harder overall for Sam as she would been forced to babysit the two now addicted spies (which was already made hard enough with watching fat Clover), which would have made the spies' mission harder if not ended in complete failure in favor of Bittersweet.
5	** When Inga captures the spies and places them in her cookie feeder machine to fatten them up, it was only thanks to one of their gadgets that they managed to escape and only consume a few cookies that may have made Alex and Sam gain a one or three pounds. But for some reason their dislike to the flavor mint doesn’t make them addicted to the cookies like a now stout Clover had become. Had their gadget been confiscated or more likely Alex and Sam became addicted to the cookies like Clover had after eating more than one, which could’ve led to Alex and Sam fattening up to Clover’s size, while Clover going from chubby to fat from eating more cookies, might’ve gotten big enough to break out of her restraints and free her plumper teammates. This could’ve have been quite an advantage for them as all three of them having become sumo sized would’ve had enough bulk to evenly fight Inga’s tubby goons or completely overwhelm them depending how big they got. Yet this could’ve also been disastrous as well, since with all three spies addicted to the cookies and fattened up, it would’ve been very hard for any of the girls to focus on the mission and might’ve outright abandoned it to satiate their cookie addiction and result in the mission becoming a complete failure.
6	** At the end of the episode Jerry assured the spies that a cure is being made to cure everyone from the weight gain they suffered from Inga’s addictive cookies, yet honestly an interesting direction could’ve been Clover choosing to stay fat or perhaps slim down to being chubby, since in canon she learned a valuable lesson and seemed to have somewhat enjoyed being plus sized. Yet it was for the best she went back to normal to be cured of her addiction to the cookies; especially since the cause of her weight gain was due to a pretty negative catalyst and would’ve only caused the controversy of this episode to be further rooted than it already was.
