* CompleteMonster: [[TheManBehindTheMan Commander Zeu]] is an elderly cyborg who is the true power behind the [[PuppetKing gluttonous fop of a king]]. Zeu is the one behind the hoarding of water, leading to a massive drought in the kingdom. When a group of people found a way to create water, Zeu had them exterminated with a troublesome brigade, having the brigade destroyed as well, using a bomb with massive civilian casualties. Zeu attempts to keep the water in order to hold power, even trying to kill the heroes and all their allies when they attempt to liberate it.
* {{Fanon}}: The ''Manga/DragonBall'' fandom like to treat this story as if it was part of the ''Dragonball-verse'', and that Beelzebub is Dabura's son. The details of both stories, however, and the fact Beelzebub's father is named '''Lucifer''' and not Dabura make it quite unlikely.
* SugarWiki/FunnyMoments: Thief calls Rao a "dirty old man" for having a magazine poster of a nude actress. [[spoiler:To his own embarrassment, the actress was Rao's wife (all of her old pictures were destroyed in the war).]]
* SugarWiki/HeartwarmingMoments:
** Beezlebub gives a human boy one of the boxes of water the demons stole.
** [[spoiler: Rao's immediate decision to leave the Pichi people in peace.]]
* HilariousInHindsight: Rao offers the demons a [=PlayStation 6=] with ''Dragon Quest XIII''. By the time its anime adaptation released, their real-life equivalents were only one console (Platform/PlayStation5) and two games (''VideoGame/DragonQuestXI'', with a twelfth in development) behind. Also doubles as HarsherInHindsight after Akira Toriyama passed away in 2024, meaning he won't be around to work on a ''Dragon Quest XIII''.
* SugarWiki/MomentOfAwesome: General Are shoots down Commmander Zeu.
