Some fans view the film as a disappointment that relies too much on potty humor, while other fans praised the comedic chemistry between Creator/JimCarrey and Creator/JeffDaniels and consider the film a worthy sequel to the original (and the Farrely Brothers' best film since ''Film/TheresSomethingAboutMary''). If nothing else, people seem to agree that the film is far, '''far''' worthier than ''Dumb and Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd''.

3	** In Harry's fantasy of being a cool dad, he imagines his daughter when she first gets her period. He hands her a wine bottle cork.
4	** Lloyd ''pretending'' to be a catatonic mental institution patient (which included ''partial lobotomy'' and ''shock therapy'') for ''the past two decades'' '''just''' so he could '''''play a joke on Harry'''''.
5	** There's also Harry putting on a device that allows people to see into his mind. We see a memory of him as a teenager in his room putting peanut butter on his balls and then calling a dog into his room, and you can figure out the rest.
6	* HarsherInHindsight: In Lloyd's fantasy of dating Penny, he envisions Harry being married to [[Series/HereComesHoneyBooBoo Mama June]]. This wound up pretty ill-timed given the controversy surrounding her boyfriend's child molestation allegations.
7	* MoralEventHorizon: Adele not only crosses it when she poisons her husband to gain his wealth, but when she tries to shoot Penny at the climax and remorselessly shoots Harry when he [[TakingTheBullet takes the bullet]] for Penny.
8	* NauseaFuel: For those who are sensitive to JabbaTableManners, Lloyd eating that hot dog is incredibly disgusting.

10	** The scene in the nursing home where Lloyd is tricked into fingering an old lady. Also, the scene at the beginning where Harry tries to yank out his catheter and has to call in the nearby gardeners to help him.
11	** Plus, they’re trick at the convention to get fresh beers when they want some and think they can't afford them because the bartender says they're "gratis", ie. free. It involves [[ToiletHumor their fingers and their buttcracks]].
12	** Harry mentioning that he had to change Lloyd's diapers while the latter was goofing around in the asylum.
