Once it's revealed that Tsubasa's family doesn't support her desire to be a manga artist, the fact that Kaos' mother ''does'' support her comes off as fairly sweet.
5	* HilariousInHindsight: Moeta's difficulty in finding a niche to be comfortable with has led to speculations that she'd use her experiences in the manga dorm as reference to draw a slice-of-life manga. [[spoiler:She finally makes her breakthrough doing exactly that.]]
6	* LesYay: Kaoruko's sexuality [[AmbiguouslyLesbian hasn't been exactly stated]], but she certainly has enough moments with everyone, especially with [[BirdsOfAFeather Fuura]] and [[CoolBigSis Ru]][[{{Meganekko}} ki]]. In Fuura's case, not only do they get along due to not having many friends, but Fuura gives Kaos a hug from behind while helping her learn assistant work. In Ruki's case, she notices that many of the figures Kaos collects look like her.
7	** And then there's Koyume's [[EveryoneCanSeeIt blatantly obvious]] crush on Tsubasa. She also has a bit of this with Kaos, since while Koyume made many friends in her class (separate from the other three), she's incredibly emotional upon being reunited with Kaos at the end of the day.
8	* {{Moe}}: As a ''Kirara'' manga, its par for the course that the characters have ''moe'' designs. However, Kaos-chan doubles down with all her endearing personality traits.
9	* {{Narm}}: In the finale, Kaos-chan breaks down crying over the fact that she can't finish her manga. It's treated like a major creative block that she can't hurtle over. Problem is, she's doing ''lineart'' on a ''tablet''. It's literally tracing over lines she already drew and hitting "Undo" and trying again if she makes a mistake. Having her cry over that, as opposed to something creatively taxing like writing dialogue or doing storyboards, just makes her look pathetic.
10	* TearJerker: What happened to Fuura's roommate. No, she didn't die, contrary to what the viewer and Kaos are led to believe for a moment after seeing her picture, but she left on a trip, only giving Fuura a brief note with barely any explanation and no contact information. From how Fuura tells the story, you can clearly see that she's quite hurt that someone she thought was a friend treated her so insensitively.
