* AlternativeCharacterInterpretation: The motives of a lot of [[MonsterOfTheWeek Aliens of the week]] are given new light with the reveal that [[spoiler:the Warp Monarch were only attacking Earth because they believed humans to be carriers for a race of destructive monsters. How many of the aliens the Gransazers fought were just doing their jobs and genuinely believed they were helping save the universe?]]
* SugarWiki/AwesomeMusic: One thing most people can agree on is that ''Gransazer'' has a stellar soundtrack.
** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bXrHWNNoDKQ The opening theme song, "Life Goes On"]], is a pulse-pumping song that's sure to get you energized for the episode ahead. It also ends with similar tunes from the first entry of another Konami franchise, ''VideoGame/{{Contra}}''.
** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c5I749Hm4LQ The ending theme, "Kimi wo Tsurete Iku"]], is more somber but still excellent, with a captivating tune and [[OneWomanWail very melodic vocals]].
** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kVGHvz1CKOQ Garuda's Theme]], a suitably triumphant song that usually plays when Garuda is summoned or when the Gransazers score a victory.
** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kg5UCOvUTLs GunCaesar's Theme]], which starts slow and builds up to an awesome rock tune.
** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zb2OHIClO8I Cloud Dragon]] also has a pretty cool orchestral-rock theme.
** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sndBBrKBtzY Trouble 3]]. Just listening to it is bound to make you feel sad.
** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lzBTMh7LIwI Courage]] is the song that plays whenever something climactic or epic happens.
** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sz2YaxlTt8k Beautiful Earth]], which plays during slower moments but still manages to be a memorable theme in its own right.
* CompleteMonster: [[TheChessmaster Belzeus]] is [[TheManBehindTheMan the true mastermind]] behind Warp Monarch's invasion of Earth, smearing humans as descendants of the Bosquito in order to justify a [[KillAllHumans cleansing]] of the planet so he can take it over and use it as a foothold to become a GalacticConqueror. To further incentivize Warp Monarch to attack, Belzeus tricks his subordinate Luka into using her life force to bring back the Bosquito so it will overrun Earth. Eyeing Ran as a threat to his plans, Belzeus has his minion Brighton pose as a peace ambassador and say Ran is a descendant of the Bosquito, lying that the Warp Monarch will cease their invasion if she is killed. After having one of his minions [[SuicideAttack suicide bomb]] Ruby before she could reveal the truth, Belzeus arrives on Earth personally to murder Ran and prevent any chance of the truth coming out before the Warp Monarch's fleet wipes out humanity.
* FirstInstallmentWins: ''Justiriser'' and ''Sazer X'' are much less known compared to ''Gransazer'', which is mostly known among Toku fans for its unique and over the top take on {{Sentai}}. There are a lot of people who don't even know that there are other shows in the "Chouseishin Series" and think it only refers to ''Gransazer''.
* HilariousInHindsight:
** Misonogi helping the Gransazers to fight against aliens is kind of funny when you remember [[Series/ChikyuuSentaiFiveman he previously was an alien invader]].
** Ran is a street dancer turned Toku hero and is the MacGuffinSuperPerson..wait a second, you think she and [[Series/KamenRiderGaim Mai Takatsukasa]] exchanged notes or something?
** 14 years later, the ''Franchise/SuperSentai'' series itself would have [[Series/UchuSentaiKyuranger a team of 12 heroes fighting aliens]].
** Tenma Kudou is a courier with a red motif. Then we have a ''Super Sentai'' with [[Series/BakuageSentaiBoonboomger a team of couriers]] with Boonboom Red being named ''Taiya''.
* RetroactiveRecognition: Sazer Tawlon/Naoto would later become known as [[Series/KamenRiderKiva a Fangire.]]
