- Alternative Character Interpretation: The motives of a lot of Aliens of the week are given new light with the reveal that the Warp Monarch were only attacking Earth because they believed humans to be carriers for a race of destructive monsters. How many of the aliens the Gransazers fought were just doing their jobs and genuinely believed they were helping save the universe?
- Awesome Music: One thing most people can agree on is that Gransazer has a stellar soundtrack.
- The opening theme song, "Life Goes On", is a pulse-pumping song that's sure to get you energized for the episode ahead. It also ends with similar tunes from the first entry of another Konami franchise, Contra.
- The ending theme, "Kimi wo Tsurete Iku", is more somber but still excellent, with a captivating tune and very melodic vocals.
- Garuda's Theme, a suitably triumphant song that usually plays when Garuda is summoned or when the Gransazers score a victory.
- GunCaesar's Theme, which starts slow and builds up to an awesome rock tune.
- Cloud Dragon also has a pretty cool orchestral-rock theme.
- Trouble 3. Just listening to it is bound to make you feel sad.
- Courage is the song that plays whenever something climactic or epic happens.
- Beautiful Earth, which plays during slower moments but still manages to be a memorable theme in its own right.
- Complete Monster: Belzeus is the true mastermind behind Warp Monarch's invasion of Earth, smearing humans as descendants of the Bosquito in order to justify a cleansing of the planet so he can take it over and use it as a foothold to become a Galactic Conqueror. To further incentivize Warp Monarch to attack, Belzeus tricks his subordinate Luka into using her life force to bring back the Bosquito so it will overrun Earth. Eyeing Ran as a threat to his plans, Belzeus has his minion Brighton pose as a peace ambassador and say Ran is a descendant of the Bosquito, lying that the Warp Monarch will cease their invasion if she is killed. After having one of his minions suicide bomb Ruby before she could reveal the truth, Belzeus arrives on Earth personally to murder Ran and prevent any chance of the truth coming out before the Warp Monarch's fleet wipes out humanity.
- First Installment Wins: Justiriser and Sazer X are much less known compared to Gransazer, which is mostly known among Toku fans for its unique and over the top take on Sentai. There are a lot of people who don't even know that there are other shows in the "Chouseishin Series" and think it only refers to Gransazer.
- Hilarious in Hindsight:
- Misonogi helping the Gransazers to fight against aliens is kind of funny when you remember he previously was an alien invader.
- Ran is a street dancer turned Toku hero and is the MacGuffin Super-Person..wait a second, you think she and Mai Takatsukasa exchanged notes or something?
- 14 years later, the Super Sentai series itself would have a team of 12 heroes fighting aliens.
- Tenma Kudou is a courier with a red motif. Then we have a Super Sentai with a team of couriers with Boonboom Red being named Taiya.
- Retroactive Recognition: Sazer Tawlon/Naoto would later become known as a Fangire.
- Visual Effects of Awesome: Only one Bisil suit was made for episodes 26 and 27, but you'd never realize that thanks to some clever editing techniques that make it appear as if there's multiple coming onto the scene at a time.
