1* CoveredUp: Among Americans who grew up in TheEighties, their take on "Pictures of Matchstick Men" is better-known than Music/StatusQuo's
2* HilariousInHindsight: The liner notes to the ''Vampire Can Mating Oven'' EP offered ludicrous fake trivia, including the claim that one song on the EP originally appeared on the soundtrack of an obscure BMovie about surfing vampires. Years later, Camper would in fact write an original song for a BMovie with an equally silly premise: "Long Way To Go (Sharknado)" for ''Film/Sharknado3OhHellNo!''. This was actually part of their motivation for recording the song, as David Lowery would bring up the ''Vampire Can Mating Oven'' liner notes when asked about their involvement with ''Sharknado''.
3** 2008 DirectToVideo movie ''[[Film/TheLostBoys Lost Boys: The Tribe]]'' did in fact involve surfing vampires.
4* MorePopularSpinoff: While Camper Van Beethoven did have several popular modern rock hits and enjoyed critical success, they never had the mainstream popularity that David Lowery did with Cracker.
