* AlternateCharacterInterpretation: Satan is intentionally putting up a token resistance to keep the heroes from realizing he's the real source of Sheri's ability, and that she's unknowingly the antichrist. The people who should be resisting are thus nullified because they think they've already won, but the mind-controlled masses who are forced to act like they've converted even though they never chose it aren't ''actually'' saved and thus are damned.
* BigLippedAlligatorMoment: The main characters try to drive out Satan in the name of God, but fail because Satan had explicit permission from God to be there. This is never explained or referenced again.
* BrokenAesop: In the third act, the Devil confronts Sheri and tells her that she must stop her mission to convert the world, only for Sheri to retort that mankind has the right to choose whether to follow God or Satan. This would be fine if the movie wasn't a giant AssimilationPlot where Sheri has the power to convert people to Christianity (regardless of their political or religious leanings beforehand) with a touch or a glare.
* DesignatedHero: Sheri brainwashes people, but because it's for God it's okay.
* DesignatedVillain: {{Satan}}. Sure, he's the Devil and all, but he doesn't do much that affects the plot. He is just there to jerk Sheri around a little bit and then [[TheDevilIsALoser gets called a loser]].
* EsotericHappyEnding: The world is converted to Christianity ''by force''. And by all appearances, it's not a particularly forgiving sect of Christianity. Even if you aren't upset by that, Sheri ends up dying anyway (though the ending heavily implies she's in Heaven).
* {{Glurge}}: An inspirational story of MindRape.
* UnintentionallyUnsympathetic: Sheri is often viewed as such due to being filled with many Glurgey [[ClicheStorm cliches]] and the fact that she's essentially brainwashing people to become Christian makes it hard to truly sympathize (other than the target audience basically doing so on command) even with the fact that she has terminal cancer.
