2	** A few people who were romancing Adrian decided to stop romancing him after he expressed grief that he couldn't save Serafine from the Order of the Dawn in Paris. They interpreted it as him still having feelings for her and not being fully committed to a relationship with Amy.
3	** Many people wanted Priya to be a love interest in Book 1 and early Book 2. This came to a screeching halt after Book 2, when [[spoiler:a premium hookup scene has her murder Amy in cold blood, and she later betrays Amy and the Council for Gaius]].
4	* AndYouThoughtItWouldFail: When the book was first announced, response was very unenthusiastic, with most people thinking that vampire stories were overdone and played out. However, people ended up pleasantly surprised with the book, finding the writing to be solid, and the love interests to be interesting and desirable.

6	** Lily Spencer. Some players like her for being a supportive friend towards Amy, her cheerful attitude that prevents the story from becoming TooBleakStoppedCaring, [[TookALevelInBadass gradually developing into a formidable fighter in her own right]], and her technological expertise. Other players dislike her for her childish reaction at being attacked and turned into a vampire and felt that she should've remained as the MuggleBestFriend to keep Amy grounded. The feeding scene in Book 1 did not help as it cannot be opted out of and is extremely sexually suggestive, regardless of whether the player has ever chosen a single flirty option with Lily, even going so far as to have Lily blatantly invite Amy for a threesome. Many players who weren't romancing Lily were uncomfortable with the scene and felt that it was sexual harassment or at least should have been optional. It seems that Pixelberry is aware of her unpopularity and left her out of the cover of Book 2. Furthermore, her sense of humor is often debated. There are some who find her hilarious and think her jokes are needed after dealing with DarkerAndEdgier aspects of this story. Others feel that her humor is painfully unfunny and depicts her as unhelpful and obnoxious more than anything else.
7	** Those who are romancing Adrian adore him. Those who aren't tend to view him as creepy, controlling and inappropriate, and his behavior towards Amy as unethical and predatory because he is her boss.
8	** Griff Sanderson has a big number of detractors, who hate him because he spent all of his screentime in Book 1 being mean and unpleasant to Amy and Lily despite the two having just survived an incredibly traumatic event, not to mention trying to kill Kamilah. [[spoiler:Almost no one saved him over [[EnsembleDarkhorse Liv Denara]] in the final battle of Book 1]]. On the other hand, his few supporters argue that he has reasons to resent both Lily and Amy for being directly connected to two clan leaders, while he and his people didn't choose to be vampires and hide for their lives. [[spoiler:If he is chosen to be rescued, he becomes notably nicer and grateful in Book 2.]]
9	** Priya Lacroix is this between the readers. Her fans love her for being TheVamp, and her character design, to the point many were requesting a chance to hook up with her. Her detractors hate her for being a subject of DoubleStandard by her supporters, since she is equally as evil, sadistic, and abusive as [[HateSink The Baron]] and Lester, but gets away with it because of her looks. [[spoiler: Her betrayal of the Council in favor of Gaius added more fuel to the hate for her.]]

11	** Despite it costing diamonds, most readers chose the decision to [[spoiler:either arrest or kill off Nicole for her betrayal and SmugSnake attitude]].
12	** Although it is another premium option, [[spoiler: many chose to kill off Scholar Jameson because he attacked Lily, betrayed Adrian and Kamilah, and willingly assisted Gaius by kidnapping innocent people for Gaius to feed off of]].
13	** In another premium option, many chose to [[spoiler:help Kamilah kill Priya because they view the latter's actions as abhorrent as those of Gaius]].

15	* DracoInLeatherPants: Priya Lacroix is surprisingly popular among the fandom due to her character design despite her abusive behavior towards her houseboys, predatory gestures towards Amy, and antagonistic attitude towards Adrian and Kamilah.

Even those who didn't want to romance her still liked her stoic wisdom and general demeanor.

30	* {{Narm}}: The portrait fragment flashback in Book 3 Chapter 8 takes place in a remote mountain castle in Stockholm[[note]]It's not only Sweden's capital and most populous city (and therefore far from remote), but also has no mountains within its metropolitan area[[/note]]. Many players mock this as a poor attempt at artistic license because the castle's location in Stockholm has no meaningful effect on the story.
31	* ShipTease: Amy and [[spoiler:Gaius]] get some in late Book 3, complete with a premium scene featuring an option to [[spoiler:kiss him on the cheek]] and [[spoiler:him]] saying something among the lines of "[[spoiler:maybe in another life, things could have been different between us]]." 32	* ShockingMoments: The announcement of the VIP-exclusive early-access prequel "Bloodbound Origins" absolutely shocked fans, given that the series had ended three and a half years prior, and nothing else had come from the series until September 2023.
33	* SignatureScene: The scene where all four of the love interests gather together for a shot before entering the final battle of Book 1, weapons in hand and ready to attack. It provides the image on [[Awesome/{{Bloodbound}} the "Awesome" sub-page]] for a reason.
34	* StrangledByTheRedString: In the story, it has been only ''two days'', and Amy already has the option to sleep with Adrian and/or Jax via Premium Options. In that same amount of time, Adrian instantly trusts Amy entirely with dangerous missions and vital secrets.
35	* TheyChangedItNowItSucks: Prior to Book 2's release, preview images were released featuring redesigned portraits for Jax and Kamilah which were NOT well-received by fans. Pixelberry actually had to clarify that Kamilah's makeover was due to an error in their coding, and assured fans that she would be retaining her Book 1 appearance.

37	** Marcel, a 400 year old CloudCuckooLander vampire with deep connection to Gaius, Adrian and Kamilah as well as showing how the smaller clans operate... and then got killed off horribly in the Feral attack ''one chapter later''.
