1	* AssPull: Randall's TrackingDevice he had supposedly put on Angela a while ago came right out of left field, with absolutely no mention in the previous chapters whatsoever.
2	* DracoInLeatherPants: It's pretty obvious the author feels this way about Randall.
3	* SugarWiki/HeartwarmingMoments: Both of the times in the first when Randall protects Angela, which also counts as a SugarWiki/MomentOfAwesome.
4	** Randall's speech he gives to Waternoose about humans.
5	* HilariousInHindsight: This story was published ''two years'' before ''WesternAnimation/MonstersUniversity'', and yet there's some interesting foreshadowing.
6	** Randall turns pink with red hearts when he's embarrassed. He turns a similar pattern (white with pink hearts) in ''MU'', albeit for a different reason. (He landed on a rug that was this pattern.)
7	** Also, Randall is nicknamed "Randy".
8	** In the third story, Mike briefly says that scaring was his "past life's wish". In ''MU'', it's revealed that Mike had wanted to be a scarer, but was never able to.
9	* MoralEventHorizon: Waternoose crosses this after kidnapping Angela and trying to force her into the scream extractor.
10	** Sylvia Schneider crossed it when she attacks Lucille and nearly kills her.
11	* NightmareFuel: A lot involving Sylvia Schneider. She's an AxCrazy {{Yandere}} who will violently ''kill'' anyone who falls in love with Randall. [[ParanoiaFuel And she can camouflauge, just like her ex-boyfriend.]] Sweet dreams!

15	** JerkassWoobie: Randall starts out as this before becoming a straight-up [[TheWoobie Woobie]].
