1* CompleteMonster (includes [[Film/TheDevilsCarnival the first film]]): [[GodIsEvil God himself]] is the primary antagonist. A cruel tyrant and perfectionist who has condemned countless innocents to Hell just because he cannot stomach the idea of "imperfect" beings entering his false utopia, God reigns over a rigid caste system that leaves the lowest citizens to sweatshop labor, keeping Heaven "clean" through an obsessive, tyrannical rule. A PsychopathicManchild who does not see his creations as people, ranging from tormenting them to [[RapeIsASpecialKindOfEvil raping them]] if he pleases, God even tests his most loyal servant, the Agent, by forcing him to manipulate his lover and condemn her to Hell before then sending the Agent himself to Hell much later with full knowledge of what will happen, even giving him a signed book to mock him for his fate, and even boasts of causing a [[DeadlyDustStorm disastrous dust storm]] to spite humanity for their "wickedness". Though he claims to be a loving ruler whose every action is benevolent, God proves to in fact be a [[NotSoWellIntentionedExtremist petty, spiteful tyrant]] whose evil [[EvenEvilHasStandards disgusts even Lucifer]].
2* FridgeBrilliance: Right before the Agent leaves for Hell, God claims that he sees him as a son. Considering what happened to God's last son, that serves as a good foreshadow for the Agent's fate.
3** The onscreen narration calls Heaven's outcasts "numberless". On initial watch, it means there are a lot of them, but if you think about it Heaven stripped June of even her Seven status before being pushed out. The outcasts are literally without numbers.
