He quickly became a fan favourite due to his sunny personality and emphasis on fair play, which stands in sharp contrast to the jaded, violent characters that make up most of the cast. It helps that he's one of the few characters [[JerkassWoobie Kevin]] genuinely admires and seems happy to be around. Demand was so high that in 2023, Nora announced a fourth book called "The Sunshine Court" focused on his life after transferring to the Trojans.

15	* OneTrueThreesome: According to the author, Kevin was [[WhatCouldHaveBeen originally]] supposed to be [[{{Polyamory}} part of Neil and Andrew's romance]]. He was paired with Thea instead, but this hasn't stopped fans from picking up on his intense dynamics with Neil and Andrew and shipping them anyway.
