* AccidentalAesop: Not the main moral about interracial dating being okay, but episode 1 seems to suggest that if a girl falls in love with a guy, she should stalk him relentlessly until she breaks his spirit completely, and that eventually in time he will grow to love her.
* AlternativeCharacterInterpretation:
** Just ''how'' sorry are we supposed to feel for Nabi in the first video?
** Il-ho can be seen as either Doki's brother, friend, or someone with an unrequited crush on her. If he is the last of these, his actions in Step 4 can be interpreted differently - instead of trying to "make Nabi see sense", he is punishing him for dumping Doki and hurting her, thinking somewhere along the lines of, "[[IfYouEverDoAnythingToHurtHer You think you can just throw her away if dating her is inconvenient]]?" This way of thought gives him a HeelFaceTurn in Step 5 when he realizes that Nabi only broke it off with her for her own protection and he is the only person she will ever truly love, and he gives Nabi the ticket because [[IWantMyBelovedToBeHappy he wants her to be happy]].
** Jossed in the Part 6 Indiegogo video. amalloc says outright that Il-ho never had unrequited love for Doki - which leads you to wonder why he was blushing in Step 3 when she hugged him before playing his spine like an accordion...!
* SugarWiki/AwesomeMusic: Episode five's song, "Imagine" by the band Brunch, really gets you fired up and ready to go out and do something awesome!
* FanNickname: The "Spiky Bunny Gang," due to NoNameGiven for a while (eventually given as Jjintta set on the [[AllThereInTheManual character page]]).
* IronWoobie: Nabi distances himself from Doki because he doesn't think she's strong enough to survive the pain of society's bigotry. He realizes how wrong he is when he sees the ribbon Doki tied on the tree to commemorate the hedgehog that she tried to save... and the tree completely tied with similar ribbons. Doki had been trying to save every animal she met for ''years'' and never given up.
* NightmareFuel: A very brief shot in Step 4. When Nabi visits Doki in the hospital, he has a {{Blipvert}}-esque [[ImagineSpot Nightmare Spot]] where the already injured Doki suddenly [[BodyHorror is beaten up even more]], made even worse by the fact that she's ''still smiling''.
* ValuesDissonance: Western viewers will probably be confused as to why this is a thing, but in East Asia, there is still very much racial prejudices going on, especially between Japanese and Koreans[[note]][[UsefulNotes/KoreansInJapan The two countries don't have the best history together]][[/note]], at least when it comes to romance and "[[HalfBreedDiscrimination race mixing]]." Which will probably not make sense to those in the West, where race is tied to skin color, not nationality/ancestry. And depending on where you live, social issues surrounding interracial relationships might be non-existent.
* TheWoobie: Nabi and Doki in episode 4.
