Context YMMV / PlutoAndTheArmadillo

Go To

1* AlternateCharacterInterpretation: Is the large amount of ShipTease between Pluto and the Armadillo intentional?
2* FridgeHorror: Smuggling animals is a serious crime in most areas. Is Mickey going to get arrested for (accidentally) smuggling the armadillo on his plane ride?
3* HilariousInHindsight: The comic strip ''ComicStrip/{{BC}}'' ALSO had a similarly-designed female armadillo who the anteater falls for. At least one strip has both the anteater AND the armadillo roll up into balls, similar to how Pluto and the armadillo roll up into balls near the end of this short.
4* HoYay: If you interpret the armadillo as male (see ViewerGenderConfusion below), his {{Ship Tease}}s with Pluto become this.
5* SignatureScene: There's a very good chance that, when you remember this short, the first thing that comes to mind is the scene where Pluto and the armadillo turn into balls and roll around bumping into each other.
6* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodCharacter: The armadillo never shows up again after this short, despite its ending with her joining Pluto and Mickey on the plane ride home. She might've made an interesting addition to other Pluto shorts.
