2	* EnsembleDarkHorse:
3	** Sergeant Kelso and his paratroopers in "Arnhem Knights". You'll hear about how many players go out of their way in that level to save them even though they may not make it out alive.
4	** The angry chef enemy who appears in two thirds out of the game's campaign. ''Rising Sun'' tried to replicate this with their own angry chefs, but they don't appear nearly as often and aren't implied to be the same character.
5	* FridgeBrilliance: Generally, the first level in any game is an easy one. But this version of Omaha Beach ''will'' kill you, repeatedly, if you don't take the right path, and it's not explicitly marked so it's pretty much guaranteed to require at least a few restarts. One suspects they did this (killing you a lot) on purpose to represent what storming that beach really meant.
6	* MemeticBadass: Jimmy Patterson. Although, let's face it, his badassery is practically {{canon}}.
7	* MemeticMutation:
8	** The Bread Is Delicious.
9	** Your Disguise Has Been Blown.
10	* ScrappyWeapon:
11	** The silenced pistol. It fires slowly and is incredibly inaccurate for such an accuracy-reliant weapon (using the left trigger only zooms in the view; it doesn't increase accuracy). And it's forced upon the player for the majority of the game (justifiably due to the game's secret operations theming).
12	** The [=MP40=] in multiplayer. In multiplayer, firing speeds have increased noticeably. With this weapon's already fast firing speed, the recoil really gets out of hand in full auto (it's manageable in single player).
13	* SignatureScene: The first level, in which the player storms the beaches of Normandy, is by far the best-known and best-regarded part of the game.
14	** Arnhem Knights takes second place, the intense short mission in the streets combined with the epic soundtrack has made it a favorite level amongst fans.
15	* ThatOneLevel: Rough Landing (you and your squadmate against five tanks in a MarathonLevel EscortMission), The Golden Lion (rail-shooter sequences, tons of snipers, etc) and Nijmegen Bridge (lots of MG nests with little cover).
