This never happens in the novels, nor does it ever come up again despite the many, many beatdowns Twoearle suffers. |
| 3 | * QuirkyWork: It's a series about aliens attacking people for their [[GirlishPigtails twintails]], and the main character himself having a huge fetish for twintails and gaining the ability to [[SuperGenderBender transform into a twintailed girl]] in order to fight those aliens. It definitely wouldn't make much sense to most people outside of {{Otaku}} circles. |
| 4 | * SoBadItsGood: If it wasn't for its utter ridiculousness, the twintail fetish, and the fact that the male protagonist can turn himself into [[GenderBender a flat-chested twintailed girl]], then the series would have been less enjoyable. Western fandom considered this series to be the "best bad anime" of Fall 2014 anime season. The campy premise certainly helped, as well as the fact that it doesn't take itself seriously at all. |
