4	* BestLevelEver: Portal Mania maps are seen as some of the best for combining aspects of almost every regular race track and having unique and awesome-looking aesthetics. Needless to say, this mode shines in comparison to other special races.
5	* FridgeBrilliance: One dialogue from "Colossatron's Menace" event has Barry asking Dan if there's going to be a continuation of ''Dan The Man'' series. Why Barry of all people? Because this is a common question that fans of the series used to ask on Halfbrick YT channel's comment section, which happened to be read by Barry on his Video Blog, much to his annoyance.
6	* HilariousInHindsight:
7	** Barry's conversation with Dan about Stage 9 in "Colossatron's Menace" event became this a year and seven months later when actual Stage 9 of Dan's animated series was finally released.
8	** Josie SuddenlySpeaking in the aforementioned event could be seen as this given that [[spoiler:she becomes capable of normal speech in the web series once she learns the truth behind her existence in Stage 13.]]
9	** In "Robotic Invention", Barry helps the scientists to create a robot version of Zombie T-Rex in hopes of riding on it. [[spoiler:It's AllForNothing for him, as Professor Brains added a BigRedButton that would destroy his creation just to spite Barry]]. Then a very similar robot also based on Z-Rex named "Wild Wild Rex" was added as a vehicle in ''VideoGame/JetpackJoyride2'', meaning that [[spoiler:Barry did eventually get what he wanted]].
10	* SugarWiki/MomentOfAwesome: At the end of the "Colossatron's Menace" event, [[spoiler: Dan defeats the Colossatron while only using the armor to aid him, something General Moustache couldn't achieve with the huge military army he has. The awesomeness scale may wary if this Colossatron is a replica from ''Jetpack Joyride'', but it was still quite a feat.]]
11	* SugarWiki/MostWonderfulSound: A jingle, that plays when you get 1st place. Usually accompanied by your character happily laughing and a sad grunt from the last place racer.
12	* NightmareFuel:
13	** In UFO Apocalypse mode, backgrounds are changed to make it feel like an actual apocalypse is happening. {{Flying Saucer}}s everywhere, fire, dark colored sky and Bounce Tunnels map having all the water dried out are all included.
14	** Flappy Bomb is a CartoonBomb with wings... and a SkullForAHead. It goes after the player in last place and makes unsettling noises, that become more and more creepy as it's about to explode.
15	* ScrappyMechanic: Special Events have Cooldown timer. Every time you collect a reward, you have to wait for 2 hours until you can start collecting event-specific items again. To get the final reward (Event skin), you'll have to spend at least few days into the Event.
16	* ThatOneLevel: Frozen Danger (and to lesser extent, Permafrost) can be this due to the amount of moving buzzsaws thrown around the map to hinder your chances at winning.
17	* ThatOneSidequest: Out of all special races, Full Boost is considered to be the worst. Aside from being the least creative mode (plays out exactly like your usual race on the linear maps, except you never run out of boost), it is very hard to catch up to your opponents, and getting 1st place can be extremely rare.
18	* UnexpectedCharacter:
19	** Among the first characters added to the game was Mari. Even if you are aware that, [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GajUKV7l41Q&t yes, Fruit Ninja has plot and characters]], you would have probably expected Sensei and/or Katsuro to represent the series instead, though both would be added to the roster later on.
20	** Rory, another one of the first characters, hailing from pretty obscure puzzle game. Not helping that many old Halfbrick games, including ''VideoGame/BearsVsArt'', were removed from the stores at around the same time ''BRS'' was getting a soft-launch.
21	** Scientist, being the only playable {{Mook}} so far. Other mooks are part of the crowd cheering for racers and movesets of other characters - including scientists themselves. The fact that Barry has received "Fake Scientist" skin prior to their inclusion also added to the unexpectedness.
