1	* BrokenBase: The ''Dante the Great'' segment. Many people liked it for its originality, having a less serious tone than other segments in the series, culminating in a badass magic fight against the police that dropped the FoundFootage format in favor of traditional film making techniques. Many others hated it ''precisely'' because it changed the formula so much, arguing that it had no place in a horror anthology and that if you're not taking advantage of the FoundFootage format in an series known specifically for that, you may as well just make a normal movie.
2	* EnsembleDarkhorse: ''Parallel Monsters'' is the only segment that everybody liked, the rest fall under BrokenBase.
3	** ''Gorgeous Vortex'', even if it isn't FoundFootage, is [[SoOkayItsAverage somewhat]] well-liked for its SurrealHorror aspects, and there are some people that wish it [[MissingEpisode wasn't cut from the film]].
4	* SugarWiki/FunnyMoments: In ''Bonestorm'', a police helicopter eventually responds to the ensuing chaos... the pilot decides [[ScrewThisImOuttaHere it's not worth getting involved]].
5	** Also in ''Bonestorm'', a skeleton inexplicably decides to ''[[FlippingTheBird flip the bird]]'' before being detonated by fireworks.
6	* SugarWiki/MomentOfAwesome:
7	** After three films of pretty much everybody dying, it's downright [[CatharsisFactor cathartic]] to see those skaters in ''Bonestorm'' kick the everlasting fuck out of an ApocalypseCult and only lose ''one'' of their friends...oh, [[MyFriendsAndZoidberg and their cameraman]].
8	** The feats of real magic in ''Dante the Great'' include walking on walls, grabbing things and people from far way, puppetting a SWAT member into killing the others, and switching places with a man.
9	** In ''Vicious Circles'', one of the sources for the footage is an amateur pornographer, who's filming a girl stripping for him in the back of a taxi... said girl [[ClickHello pulls a gun on him]] and threatens to kill him. Why, you might ask? Well, her ex [[DisproportionateRetribution sold him revenge porn of her]], which apparently [[DefiledForever ruined her life]].
10	* {{Narm}}: From ''Parallel Monsters'', the parallel dimension men's [[spoiler:demon penises]] are just ridiculous and would be more at home in a crass horror parody. For that matter, the [[spoiler:Satanic zeppelin]] is also hard to take seriously. Whether that's the segment's intention or not is up in the air.
11	** Everything about the GangBangers from ''Vicious Circles''.
12	** After everyone starts [[ForkFencing stabbing each other with forks at the party]], the camera spins around to show a man and his dog, both with forks in their heads; [[MajorInjuryUnderreaction neither seem to be particularly concerned about this.]]
13	** The skateboarders' inappropriately nonchalant attitude about most of what happens in ''Bonestorm''.
14	** NarmCharm: "[[MadnessMantra We're gonna go viral]], [[HostageVideo we're gonna go viral]], [[StopHittingYourself we're gonna go viral]]..."
15	* NightmareFuel: [[NightmareFuel/VHSViral Now has its own page]].
16	* {{Sequelitis}}: The first film in the series to earn largely negative reviews from both audiences and critics, though it's generally agreed that ''Parallel Monsters'' is top notch.
