!Tropes
* ActionGirl: Though she did not win the contest, she is one of the better wrestlers to come out of the Wrestling/WWEDivaSearch. This was not immediately apparent since WWE had her stand around in tag matches where she was never tagged in an then put her in a managerial role.
* ArchEnemy:
** In WWE: Wrestling/VickieGuerrero and Wrestling/LayCool.
** In TNA: Wrestling/GailKim, who eventually acknowledged her as a WorthyOpponent. However, Terrell's proceeded to undo any friendship Kim managed to create.
* AscendedMeme: When on ECW was frequently referred to as a clone of Kelly Kelly. Guess who becomes her BFF when she is moved to ''Smackdown''?
* BeatThemAtTheirOwnGame: At Slammiversary XI, she subjected Gail Kim to her own Figure-Four Leglock Around The Ringpost, though it's not what ended the match.
* BerserkButton: Getting slapped across the face.
* TheBerserker: How she tends to fight when she gets pissed.
* BewareTheNiceOnes: More so in WWE where she had a very girly appearance and smiled sweetly during her entrance - only to turn very aggressive and competitive when the bell rang. In TNA the nice part is de-emphasised.
* BigDamnHeroes: Spearing Wrestling/RosaMendes after she and Wrestling/ZackRyder ignored her warning not to interfere in the final ECW title defense. This ultimately was not enough to save the platinum phoenix from Ezekiel Jackson but did let us know she would have something to do after WWECW was over.
* ByTheHair: She lost a Ladder Match when Gail Kim tied her hair to the ring ropes.
* CuteButCacophonic: Tiffany was not too celebrated for her ability to cut promos. In fact, Wrestling/WilliamRegal asked on camera what was wrong with her voice. Okay, he was the bad guy but it mirrored what was said on Wrestling/TheWrestlingObserverNewsletter. The mutants did not seem to mind though and there were not too many complaints about her announcing while in FCW.
* DomesticAbuser: She assaulted her then-husband, Wrestling/DrewMcIntyre, in RealLife.
* DullSurprise: Outside of her… physical attributes, Tiffany is something of a legend in the IWC for mechanical movements and line readings. ''Website/WrestleCrap'' made a full-fledged meme about it, with RD lavishing praise on her crystal-clear elocution!
-->'''[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bu3mFuBTceA#t=700s Brian:]]''' Tiffany hit the ring. She ran ''exactly'' like she talks: [[AC:completely mechanically and putting every conceivable bit of effort into this task.]]\
'''Vinny:''' You know what she looked like: she looked like Creator/RobertPatrick in ''Terminator 2''. '''[[SuddenlyShouting WHO WAS IN FACT PLAYING A MACHINE!]]'''
* DungFu: Wrestling/TaelerHendrix threw shit on Taryn Terrell so Miss Terrell offered Taeler a shot at the OVW title in a "poop in the pool match". The stipulation was that Hendrix would be thrown in swimming pool filled with feces if Taryn retained. Taeler won the championship belt but then fell in by accident.
* EasilyDistractedReferee: Reached its peak at TNA Genesis 2013, where Gail wrestled four people (ODB, Wrestling/MickieJames, Wrestling/VelvetSky and [[Wrestling/BrookeAdams Brooke]]) in a [[RunTheGauntlet gauntlet match]], cheated against every single one of them, then lost even though Gail got her foot under the rope.
* {{Expy}}: To Trinity in TNA.
* FaceHeelTurn: On the ''TKO: Night of Knockouts'' special episode of TNA, when she enlisted the help of her "friends" the villainous Dollhouse TagTeam in her desperation to retain her title against [[Wrestling/KiaStevens Awesome Kong]] in a non-DQ match.
* FakeHairDrama: When she finally snapped on Gail Kim, she actually ripped out some of her own extensions in rage.
* FanServicePack: Her WWE wrestling attire was a little on the modest side - her top didn't expose that much and she had a skirt over ModestyShorts. In TNA she switched it up for a more revealing sports bra and hot pants.
* FinishingMove: Spear; Running or Elevated Cutter; Diving Bulldog; Dragon Sleeper Hold.
* FriendToAllChildren: Her first appearance on ''Smackdown'' was babysitting Wrestling/{{Rey Mysterio|Jr}}'s daughter Aliyah.
* GenreBlindness: During her feud with [=LayCool=], she would often attempt a hurricanrana on Wrestling/MichelleMcCool. Every time, [=McCool=] would counter it into the Faith Breaker.
* GenreSavvy: As a referee, she would never fall for the heel's distraction tricks. Don't worry though, she was more than capable of distracting herself (which is still more competence than most refs).
* GimmickMatches: Introduced the "Elimination Chase" to wrestling when deciding how the challenger to Wrestling/JackSwagger's ECW championship belt would be picked.
* GirlyBruiser: Is both a former cheerleader and power lifter as well as a stunningly gorgeous model. She previously wrestled in a skirt (and some of her TNA attire will have pink on it) - and is also known for UnstoppableRage and determination in wrestling. She's also a stunt woman too.
* GranolaGirl: She was a vegan and leads several groups that help animals, orphans, neglected and abused children, and people suffering from cystic fibrosis. Although she eventually had to start eating meat because she needed the protein for her power lifting.
* GreenEyedMonster: When Awesome Kong and Havok's TNA confrontations were overshadowing Terrell as knockout champion, she called out the former and kept doing so even after Gail Kim warned her [[BullyingADragon what a bad idea it was]]. After being thrashed numerous times and only retaining her title out of luck and or Kim bailing her out, Terrell formed Dollhouse to more effectively fight Kong and finally get out of Kim's shadow.
* TheLeader: Appears to be the Dollhouse's. This little revelation was the big twist of the ''TKO: Night of Knockouts''.
* LovelyAngels: With Kelly Kelly as 'Blondetourage'. She presumably would have gotten more matches had she not been suspended.
* MadeOfIron: She has competed in Ladder Matches and Last Man Standing Matches. She is rather proud of some of the injuries she has taken in her career.
* MsFanservice: Most of her ring outfits tend to be skimpy. There's also her model and acting work.
* NaughtyNuns: Took part in a Halloween Costume Contest dressed as a nun. She said "vote for me and I'll personally take you to heaven".
* PerkyFemaleMinion: To Theodore Long while he was general manager of WWECW. He left her there with his blessing when returning to Smackdown. In TNA she later got some of her own as leader of Dollhouse.
* PermanentPlaceholder: In-universe, she became interim ECW general manager after Theodore Long left, and was later promoted to permanent GM, staying in the position until the ECW brand was discontinued.
* PowerTrio: Dollhouse with Marti and Jade.
* PutOnABus: Wrestling/WilliamRegal took over from her on ECW after she was in a car crash. (She was really healing from an injury sustained on FCW.)
* ReasonableAuthorityFigure: As the ECW general manager. No, she was not the most competent or business savvy of the bunch but when your competition is Wrestling/VickieGuerrero's nepotism, the pointlessly cruel anonymous Raw GM or a bunch of celebrities more concerned about their own agendas than running a wrestling show, and one of your predecessors is Wrestling/PaulHeyman, you will look reasonable by comparison unless you are a real piece of work.
* SexyWhateverOutfit: For Halloween 2008 it was a nun.
* ShipTease: While obviously unintentional, her interactions with Wrestling/{{Christian}} while she was the ECW GM and he was the show's obvious lead star could be seen as this due to how [[CuteButCacophonic woefully]] [[SoundtrackDissonance unfitting]] her overall presentation was for a GM despite her best efforts.
* SoundtrackDissonance: Her WWE theme especially in its brand version of ECW. Is "I'm insatiable! I can't get enough! I need to find a boy!" something you expect from a general manager?
* SpiritualSuccessor: ''Diva Dirt'' writers frequently compared {{Wrestling/Kaitlyn}} to her. Notable in that Kaitlyn would eventually call herself "The Hybrid Diva" in reference to that.
* {{Stripperiffic}}:
** As far as referee gear is concerned. Her outfit was definitely sexier than a standard one.
** Though not the most standout example on its own, her wrestling gear over the years can count as well. Cheerleader outfit as Tiffany, skimpy hot pants in TNA…
* TagTeam: Blondetourage with Wrestling/KellyKelly. Their primary goal was taking down Laycool
* TheUnfairSex: Averted in RealLife—her {{domestic abuse|r}} of [[Wrestling/DrewMcIntyre Drew Galloway]] actually cost Taryn her job with WWE.[[note]]She got suspended rather than immediately fired, but she was released before she could come back to TV.[[/note]]
* UnstoppableRage: A defining trait of her in-ring persona.
* VillainousFriendship: Implied to have one with Marti Bell and Jade, who came to her aid to help her retain the Knockouts Championship against [[Wrestling/KiaStevens Awesome Kong]]. After the match, Taryn warned everyone that if they come after her, they come after her "friends", too -- and ''none'' of them play very nice. The Dollhouse became a PowerTrio after this, pretty much cementing the trope.
* WorkingWithTheEx: [[Wrestling/DrewMcIntyre Drew Galloway]] eventually signed onto TNA, where Taryn was already working.
* WorthyOpponent: After a couple of ferocious matches with Wrestling/GailKim earned Taryn the respect of wrestling fans, she became pregnant and left TNA for a bit, during which Gail had a HeelFaceTurn. Upon her return, Gail would acknowledge her as this, which later became the foundation for the case of BrokenPedestal that would result from Taryn's FaceHeelTurn as leader of the Dollhouse in 2015.
* {{Xenafication}} / TookALevelInBadass: Went from ECW General Manager to active wrestler. Same deal in TNA where she was a referee turned wrestler.
