''Totally Spies! The Movie'' is totally TheMovie of ''WesternAnimation/TotallySpies''.

It premiered on 2009 in its native France, and in April 2010 in the United States. It is an OriginsEpisode for the three girls, recounting how Sam, Alex, and Clover met, became close friends, and began work as secret agents for W.O.O.H.P., the World Organization Of Human Protection. The girls begin their adventure after having been transferred to a high school in [[UsefulNotes/LosAngeles Beverly Hills]] and wind up stopping an evil SuperVillain named Fabu, a former fashion model who entrances teenagers, plans to [[EarthShatteringKaboom demolish the Earth]] from a ''fabulous'' luxury resort in space, and boasts what's possibly the most ludicrous FreudianExcuse in the history of time.

They rescue some hot studs and an adorable piggy along the way.

!!Tropes:
* ActionGirl: Clover, Sam, and Alex prove to be no slouches at combat very fast for newbies on the job, and take down the bad guys (save for Fabu, who briefly escapes into space before being caught) in a hand-to-hand fight at the end.
* AmbiguouslyGay: Fabu. His mannerisms ''scream'' CampGay, but it's never stated outright. Downplayed in that aside from stereotypes, there are ''no'' other hints to Fabu's sexual orientation at all.
* AxCrazy: Sheesh! Peppy Wolfman's Secretary is just plain psycho when people don't do what she says. Even a rampaging pack of various animals, ranging from common cats to a ''freaking elephant'', can't faze her, they only make her ''angrier.''
* {{Brainwashing}}: Fabu's method of controlling teenagers. Comes with a fabulous set of bleached bangs.
* DudeMagnet: Mandy somehow has an entire group of guys who fawn over her and are willing to wash her car for free.
* EatTheCamera: Mandy does this at one point while laughing.
* FateWorseThanDeath: Played straight then subverted when Fabu punishes the girls by giving them horrid looking faces, then he decides to jettison them into space anyway.
* FourthWallPsych:
** At the start of the film, Rob seemingly leaves the shot, and then comes right back to look into the camera and greet the viewers, "Oh, hello there, handsome!", right before it cuts to reveal that he's actually talking to himself in the mirror.
** Clover turns around and seemingly gives an AsideGlance in disgust when Jerry suggests that the girls follow Mandy. It turns out that she (and then Jerry) were actually looking at Mandy and her followers.
* FreudianExcuse: Fabu has a ''magnificent'' one. He wants to demolish the Earth, because [[spoiler:[[DisproportionateRetribution his pants fell off and people laughed at him once.]]]]
* HarmlessElectrocution: When Sam tries to hack into the surveillance system with her Compower, she accidentally puts the cord into the wrong plug. Frizzy hairstyles ensue for all three of the girls.
* TheMovie: Right there in the title.
* NamesToRunAwayFromReallyFast: Near the end of the movie Alex gets a call from a guy called Peppy Wolfman who seems to be offering to take Oinky off her hands. This is the last we see of Oinky in the movie.
** Luckily for Alex, Oinky came back in Season 6.
* NewKidStigma: When the trio first come to Bev High, they meet [[AlphaBitch Mandy]], who shows them to the vending machine. They press a button for a drink, and are sprayed across the schoolyard. Mandy then proclaims "Welcome to Bev High, losers!", and everyone around laughs at them.
* ObviouslyEvil: Tad, who makes his true colors clear long before the girls find out by deleting their message for help to Jerry with an evil smirk.
* ReassignedToAntarctica: Literally done to Mrs. Stritch, as a gesture of gratitude from W.O.O.H.P. to the girls.
* RedHerring: [[spoiler:The principal Mrs. Stritch is introduced and shown all throughout the film in an obviously evil fashion, when she has absolutely ''nothing'' to do with the mission]].
* {{Retcon}}: Yet ''another'' origin story for the girls. Seriously Marathon, make up your minds.
* ShoutOut: One of Clover's early design ideas [[Anime/SailorMoon looks very familiar.]]
* TeamPet: The pig, Oinky (so named by Alex) becomes this for a brief portion of the film.
* TwitchyEye: Jerry has one after Clover shows him her ''Franchise/SailorMoon'' design.
* VillainOfAnotherStory: Some of the VillainOfTheWeek characters from the show set after the movie appear as {{Innocent Bystander}}s in this prequel.
* WalkLikeAnEgyptian: The girls' method of (successfully) avoiding their principal, Mrs. Stritch. For some reason. Remarkably, they used Music/TheBangles' song during the sequence, [[AvertedTrope avoiding]] the use of a SuspiciouslySimilarSong.
