''The Owl & Co'' (French: ''La Chouette et Cie'') is an AllCGICartoon AdaptationExpansion of ''WesternAnimation/TheOwl'', a short series created by Alexandre So and produced by Studio Hari, released in 2013. It focuses on the titular Owl, who is grumpy, quick-tempered and cannot bear noise, disorder or others in general--so there's nothing worse than to be living in an wearisome environment with his neurotic neighbors he has to put up with (a jerkass frog who wants to control everything, a smart stickbug who usually makes useless inventions, a ditzy and clingy sheep, a rooster, a chick(en) and an idealistic, exuberant bat) as his quest for peace only gets him into ridiculous situations. Combine that with his unintentional mistakes or even torture at the end of OnceAnEpisode, and that means anyone can bet he must be the unluckiest guy in the world.

A second season was later released in 2016.
!!This series contains examples of:
%%* ArtEvolution: The visuals got better in season 2, especially the lighting.
* ArtShift: In "Vide'Owl", the Owl was attempting to get a worm, but accidentally causes the analysis device screen to fall on him and the worm. As a result, they become pixelated.
* ADogNamedDog: For most of the creatures.
* ArmlessBiped: The Owl and a magical, yellow bird lack wings.
* AmazingTechnicolorWildlife: We have the Owl, who is pink.
* AdaptationDyeJob: Most of the worms were blue in the original short series.
%%* AmbiguousGender: The Owl is officially referred to as a male, although he is also referred to by female pronouns in his character page on Studio Hari's website, and is speculated to be female in Website/ThisVeryWiki's [[ViewerGenderConfusion/WesternAnimation Viewer Gender Confusion page for Western Animation]].
* ButtMonkey: The Owl is always harmed in a way OnceAnEpisode.
* BoyishShortHair: The Bat has this hairstyle.
* BalloonBelly:
** In "Adopt a Owl", a bunch of baby worms eat too many blueberries, they outright become ball-shaped.
** In "Seeing Doub-Owl", one moment has the Owl being very full from eating lots of worms that he cloned.
** In "Termin-Owl", a lot of worms were walking out of a cave and the Owl just so happens to eat them all there, and got too full yet again.
* BrutalHonesty: [[{{Jerkass}} The Frog]] sometimes lets out this.
* CuteOwl: The Owl himself, once again.
* DiurnalNocturnalAnimal: The Owl and the Bat are pretty much diurnal.
%%* TheDitz: Sheep, although he isn't entirely a ditz, for the most part.
* ExhaustedEyeBags: The Owl seems to have these.
* EndingTheme: It uses different music variants for most episodes.
* FloatingLimbs: The Owl and a yellow, magical bird lack legs.
* FurryFemaleMane: The Bat has hair.
* GeniusDitz: Overlapping with TheSmartGuy, the Stickbug is this, pretty much.
%%* GenkiGirl: Though, it's {{downplayed|Trope}} with the Bat.
* GratuitousSpanish: The Polecat spoke a few Spanish phrases in "Abracad-Owl".
* HiddenDepths: In one episode, the Frog can make pudding and it just so happens to be famous.
* IAteWhat: [[spoiler:In one episode, Frog, Sheep and Owl were invited to a dinner by the Flamingo. And the meal they were served with? ''Cockroaches''--and that just so happened to be what the Owl turns out to be allergic with.]]
* ItIsPronouncedTroPAY: In the episode "Me Tarzan, You Owl", Tarzan's name is pronounced as "tor-zohn" or "tor-zan".
* {{Jerkass}}: The Owl is this, arguably. Besides his negative behavior, in a majority of episodes [[RunningGag he only cares about eating worms]], is always on his quest for peace and quiet and never cares about his friends at ''all.''
%%* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: The Frog can have his nice moments at times.
%%* {{Keet}}: Sheep.
%%* MakesJustAsMuchSenseInContext:
%%** The ending of "Vide'Owl" has the Owl and a worm getting themselves into a ''VideoGame/PacMan''-like game, as the Owl appropriately can move his eyeballs in it.
* MissingMom: The Chick's mother is outright never even ''mentioned.''
%%* MasculineGirlFeminineBoy: The Bat is the Masculine Girl to the Sheep's Feminine Boy.
* NeverSayDie: {{Inverted|Trope}}:
** In "Natur'Owl Disaster"--when the Frog predicted a hurricane with his back pain, the Sheep worrily claims that "[they're] all [going to] die".
** There is also use of the word "kill" in "Excalib-Owl", when the Frog (along with the Sheep, Chick, and Owl) mistake extra swords the Bat drops for an assassination attempt at the Owl.
* OohMeAccentsSlipping: Happens sometimes with the Frog, the Bat and the Chicken in the English dub ([[FakeAmerican despite the actors being British]]).
* ProtagonistAndFriends%%: Though slightly more of an IronicName when it comes to the French title.
* Pun: Some of the episode titles have this, with the word "Owl".
%%* PinkGirlBlueBoy: {{Inverted|Trope}} with the Owl (pink) and the Bat (purple).
* PinkMeansFeminine: GenderInverted with the Owl.
%%* ThePollyanna:
%%** Sheep, sometimes.
%%** The Bat might also count.
* RunningGag:
** OnceAnEpisode, the Owl will always attempt to catch and eat a worm, with no success (at least, for the most part).
** Another one is when he loses his body parts, a banjo tune is heard as he looks unamused [[BreakingTheFourthWall at the viewer.]]
** In "Fun-Owl Business", a running gag has the Sheep saying "I'm neutral!". He also sometimes [[{{Teleportation}} magically appears in other places before he says it.]]
** In another episode, a running gag has shapeshifting...creatures who just happen to mainly take the forms of the Owl's friends, each with two (really, if not already very) minor differences.
* ShoutOut: Also at the end of "Vide'Owl", the Owl accidentally got himself and a worm into a ''VideoGame/PacMan''-like game.
%%* SphereEyes
%%* StockSoundEffects
* TheSmartGuy: Overlapping with GeniusDitz, the Stickbug is the smartest main character.
* TheSpeechless: The Owl is the only main character in the show that's pantomime (despite being voiced by instruments).
* TheSmurfettePrinciple: The Bat is the only female main character.
* StrongFamilyResemblance: [[spoiler:"The Mecha-Owl" has Sheep's [[HeavySleeper Heavy-Sleeping]] cousin, whom everyone else mistook for Sheep at first.]]
%%* TokenGoodTeammate: The Bat seemingly is this in some episodes. She sometimes gives the Owl a basket of worms, encouraged him to get a worm he was chasing, and sometimes felt bad for him.
%%* TrademarkFavoriteFood: The Owl usually likes to eat worms he sees.
* WithFriendsLikeThese: The Owl ''does not'' care about any of the other characters at all and often just acts like a self-centered jerk whenever they try to interact with him. Despite this, the other characters still see him as a friend and somewhat care for him.
