''Iron Man & Captain America: Heroes United'' is an animated CGI movie and sequel to ''WesternAnimation/IronManAndHulkHeroesUnited''. Creator/AdrianPasdar returns as the voice of Tony Stark/Iron Man with Creator/RogerCraigSmith voicing Captain America. It also features Creator/ClancyBrown as Taskmaster, and Creator/LiamOBrien as Red Skull.

!!Tropes applying to ''Iron Man & Captain America: Heroes United''

* AllCGICartoon: [[WesternAnimation/IronManAndHulkHeroesUnited Just like before]].
* ArtEvolution: The CGI in this film is more solid and less cel-shaded than the previous one.
* BigDamnHeroes: The [[spoiler:Hulk]], ''twice''!
* {{BFG}}: Tony Stark's new repulser canon, which has it's own arc reactor and is as strong as Iron Man's own repulser blasts.
* BondVillainStupidity: When Red Skull decides to brainwash Captain America into becoming his own Captain Hydra, he decides to leave without making sure the brainwashing is successful. He ''does'' have the foresight to order Taskmaster to keep watch over the Captain, but this oversight still eventually gives Captain America the cover he needs to later break into the Skull's Antarctic fortress.
* BrainwashedAndCrazy: [[spoiler: Captain America, courtesy of the Red Skull. Taskmaster as well, to a lesser extent.]]
* CanonForeigner: This one applies to a ''phrase''. The Hydra oath in this film has the original piece of "Hail the Red Skull". Of course, given the Skull's immense [[AGodAmI God complex]], this is rather fitting.
* ConservationOfNinjutsu: The Hydra super soldiers are built up to be a serious threat, having Captain America's strength and combat training, as well as Iron Man's repulser canon ... however an entire army of them are quickly dispatched by the titular heroes and [[spoiler:the Hulk]].
* ContinuityNod:
** Iron Man calling [[spoiler:the Hulk]] for help, as this movie is a sequel to ''WesternAnimation/IronManAndHulkHeroesUnited''.
** [[spoiler:The Hulk]] says Iron Man owes him twice. This is a reference to ''The Avengers''[[spoiler:, in which Hulk saves Iron Man after the latter runs out of power]].
* DressingAsTheEnemy: After shrugging off the mind control, Captain America keeps wearing his Captain Hydra costume in order to infiltrate Red Skull's antarctic base.
* EvilKnockoff: Taskmaster as Iron Master is this for Iron Man, and the Super-Serumed Hydra soldiers are this for Captain America.
* HoistByHisOwnPetard: After their defeat, Taskmaster points out the only reason Hydra lost was due to Red Skull's obsession with Captain America, and the fact the Skull was intent on not only capturing Captain America alive, but also brainwashing him instead of [[WhydontYouJustShootHim killing him]]. Red Skull counters that it's Taskmaster's treachery that was the cause of their defeat ... but as it was pointed out earlier in the film, Taskmaster's "treachery" was the result of Red Skull's brainwashing, so it's the Skull's fault either way.
* HollywoodAcid: Hydra has a fighting arena surrounded by a moat of "super concentrated hydrochloric acid", which true to the Hollywood stereotype, is bright green and bubbling.
* {{Leitmotif}}: The music during Captain America's fight scenes is from ''Film/CaptainAmericaTheFirstAvenger''.
* LetsYouAndHimFight: Very early on, we get this when Cap and Iron Man are sparring. We also get this when [[spoiler: when Cap has been brainwashed by the Red Skull.]]
* MechaMooks: Captain America fights some Hydra robots at the beginning of the movie.
* MirrorBoss: Taskmaster.
* OutrunTheFireball: Outrun the toxic cloud of super soldier serum, in this case.
* PoweredArmor: Besides Iron Man, Taskmaster steals Tony's Stealth Suit, and at the end of the movie Captain America is wearing the Iron Patriot armor.
* ReusedCharacterDesign: The outfits worn by the Hydra agents are the same as the ones from ''WesternAnimation/AvengersAssemble''.
* SeeTheInvisible: Iron Man's stealth mode is compromised by the flashing lights in the Hydra elevator, giving away his presence.
* SpoilerOpening: The opening credits spoilers several major events in the film, including [[spoiler: that Red Skull is planning on using Captain America's super serum to make his own Hydra super soldiers, that Taskmaster will fight Iron Man wearing one of the Iron Man suits, and that Red Skull will try to launch a missile at some point near the end of the movie]].
