[[http://cnwol.tumblr.com/ World of Light]] is an ongoing {{Fan Web Comic|s}} CrossOver between ''WesternAnimation/SamuraiJack'' and ''WesternAnimation/ThePowerpuffGirls'' created by [[http://teacupballerina.tumblr.com/ TeacupBallerina]], set after the events of ''ComicBook/CartoonNetworkSuperSecretCrisisWar''.

After his plans for inter-dimensional conquest fall apart, the evil [[VillainProtagonist Aku]] decides to take matters into his own hands. Using his shapeshifting powers, he splits himself in two; one half stays behind to keep an eye on the Samurai, and the other sets out to single-handedly subjugate the other worlds and their heroes. His first target is the world of The Powerpuff Girls...but when the unthinkable comes to pass, Aku finds himself trapped in the girls' [[VirtualTrainingSimulation training]] [[TailorMadePrison room]] with his [[PowerNullifier powers suppressed]].

Has no relation to ''VideoGame/SuperSmashBrosUltimate'''s Story Mode of the same name.

!! This webcomic provides examples of:
* ArcNumber: 4.
* AdaptationOriginConnection: [[spoiler: Professor Utonium originally created Chemical X from taking samples of remains of the PPG world's version of Aku, who was destroyed in his first battle against Jack. This essentially makes the Powerpuff Girls Aku reborn]].
* CanonWelding: Taking the CommonCrossover FanWank theories up to eleven is the reason the comic exists.
* ContinuityNod: So many there's a [[https://docs.google.com/document/d/1cthtzZM7ttTsIZIcg6IGwStQMpTvTIr4jbHLFFcSopc/edit?usp=sharing list]].
* DeadFic: Last update was in July 2020.
* HighAltitudeBattle: Leads to AirJousting.
* IdenticalGrandson: Professor Utonium's striking resemblance to Samurai Jack (at least, according to Aku).
* KungFuSonicBoom: This happens a few times as the PPG/Aku fight heats up.
* PointOfDivergence: Professor Utonium's theory is in the PPG timeline, Jack was able to defeat and kill Aku before Aku could fling him into the future. Aku's remains where then found in the present day by the professor, who dubbed it Chemical X.
* PowerNullifier: The Danger Grid's Inhibitor function, which radiates Antidote X. Later, the professor modifies his old Powerprof suit into a suit to keep Aku's powers at bay.
* ThePowerOfLove: It's implied that a major reason that the girls turned out good was that, unlike Aku, they had the Professor, who believed in them and loved and supported them, while Aku didn't have that.
* PowerStrainBlackout: Aku (who usually runs away before getting too worn out) uses so much energy to fight the girls that by the time it’s over he can barely stand and he collapses in exhaustion. This allows the girls to capture him.
* RedemptionQuest: Since they can't keep Aku imprisoned forever, the girls decide to redeem him. Aku only agrees so he will be let out of the danger grid.
* SpeechBubblesInterruption: A couple on [[https://teacupballerina.deviantart.com/art/CH3-Page-9-658133747 this page]].
* TeethFlying: Aku knocks one of Buttercup's teeth out in their fight.
* VillainProtagonist: Aku.
* WorfHadTheFlu: As Blossom realizes, the Girls managing to defeat Aku was in ''no'' small part because he only ever really fights Jack directly, and their greater combat experience allowed them to wear him down to total exhaustion, which he'd never experienced before. It also probably helped that he underestimated them.
