Hellsing: Excidium is a follow-up fanfiction comic made by [[http://robertfiddler.deviantart.com/ RobertFiddler]] on deviantart.com taking place after Kouta Hirano's ''Manga/{{Hellsing}}'' manga, and follows Schrodinger as he becomes the newest member of the Hellsing organization and servant to Seras Victoria.

* BattleInTheCenterOfTheMind: Schrodinger has this with his past self, explaining that he can be in his own head with the "everywhere and nowhere" thing. New and improved Schrodinger wins, fully leaving his old self behind and rejecting Nazi ideology and Millenium's history and mission for a new life.
** An attack on Seras' mind fails because she has Pip in there and Shrodinger was able to pop into her mental world to help out.
* BlueAndOrangeMorality: A lot of time is spent examining Schrodinger's mindset, and just how screwy it is from spending over half a century with Millenium.
* BodyguardCrush: Schrodinger seems to be developing one for Seras. His former self mocks him for it.
* CanonForeigner: While this does take place after Hellsing Ultimate, which follows the original manga, Helena, a character from the Hellsing TV anime, makes an appearance in Chapter 16.
* CorruptChurch: The Iscariots turn out to be even shadier than canon--they actually once ''trained a vampire'', Fatum, to be one of their soldiers, and try to stop Hellsing from going after him even though Fatum attack Hellsing first. Averted with Heinkel and the Pope; Heinkel is keeping an eye on the newleadership under His Holiness' direct orders.
* DaywalkingVampire: Fatum is revealed to be this.
* DeathOfPersonality: Discussed with Schrodinger's past self during his BattleInTheCenterOfTheMind: if he changes so much that he's almost a different person from his past self and his past ideals, does that make him a new person while his old persona is effectively dead? Schrodinger seems to think so, as he "kills" the old him so he can move forward in his new life.
* EasilyForgiven: Played with in regards to Schrodinger. The fact that they simply ''cannot'' kill him means Hellsing might as well keep him around to try and keep him in some kind of check, and even a member who seriously wants revenge for what happened during Millenium's attack stops when Schrodinger accepts the potential beating happily since, to Schrodinger, it will mean the Major's legacy lives in the hatred and fear inspired by his assault. The solider is taken aback and realized just how messed up Schrodinger really is in the head, and leaves him be. Given that treating him fairly seems to have subjected him to a minor mindfuck, maybe it was an effective punishment in a way (see DeathOfPersonality).
* FriendlyEnemy: Seras and Heinkel, when their bosses aren't around.
* MundaneUtility: Schrodinger's teleporting means Sera doesn't need to lug around her bigger weapons since he can just port back to headquarters and get them for her. This does however have the drawback of him sometimes making mistakes like grabbing the wrong ammo.
** He's later used for the much more devastating utility of transporting ''Alucard'' when he and Seras end up over their heads.
** Another use of his powers? Delaying Alucard from interrupting Integra's meetings. Integra is deeply impressed that Schrodinger can keep Alucard away until the very last bits of the meeting.
* MindScrew: Of course, Schrodinger's around. One of the more interesting ones is that he only has a tail when he believes he has a tail. And he can intentionally believe it doesn't exist.
** Also his "everywhere and nowhere" thing is limited by his ability to know where to be. While he theoretically ''could'' find Fatum and his crew without knowing where to start, he would have to quite literally search every inch of everywhere in the world to do it and the speed of that search would be limited by his human-like mind's ability to process each place to actually check it.
* MyInstinctsAreShowing: Schrodinger hates baths beyond licking himself, loves fish, and enjoys having his head rubbed/ears scratched.
* OhCrap: The Hellsing soldiers have this when they realize someone is actually ''getting away'' from Alucard, with Alucard not just flattening them instantly.
* TheWorfEffect: Seras gets worfed during the attack against Leo Sly, partly due to bad intel and her "assistant" not bringing the right ammo the first time. Schrodinger ends up needing to teleport Alucard in to save her.
** She gets it again duringthe assault on the headquarters. This time Alucard angrily calls her on it, which she explains as her opponent having done something to the remnants of Pip's soul inside her. While he's still there, it ripped some of him out, and she was left utterly flatfooted from it.
