->''"Amy told me about this story of Slenderman, and, um... It sounded weird - [[DoNotTauntCthulhu I don't know how scared I am of someone named 'Slender Man'-]]"''

TJA Projects was started on April 4th, 2011, with the original intent of parodying the Slenderman Mythos by mixing it with Borat. The heroines, Amy and TJ, [[EldritchAbomination did not know what they were messing with.]]

The first video is [[http://youtu.be/EvVtKw93GoY here]]. And there's a [[https://twitter.com/#!/TJAProjects twitter]]. A helpful Unfiction thread can be found [[http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=32044 here]].

The series concluded on September 27th, 2011 with [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MwFz-QNSjjA Answers.]] TheEndOrIsIt [[spoiler:Actually, it wasn't.]]

Following the conclusion of [[FanNickname TJAP]], four more series started within [[TheVerse the same universe.]] These included:

* '''Find the Room''': A mysterious figure provides a camera feed of a room where a comatose woman sleeps, hinting that she only has a finite amount of food and water available before she dies. The viewer is tasked with finding and freeing her before the time runs out. [=FtR=] was active from November 1, 2011 through November 20, 2011, and is now discontinued [[spoiler:(although Andrea was successfully rescued by another mysterious benefactor)]]. Due to the time-specific nature of the series, and the hints provided in tweets and emails outside of the videos, Find The Room was more of an AlternateRealityGame. However, events and hints from this series continue to impact the ongoing TJA-verse.
* '''Making New Memories''': A recovering amnesiac, Andrea Shepard, attempts to reconnect with ordinary everyday life. Meanwhile, she has discovered a curious journal written in an incomprehensible language which hints at clues to her forgotten life. Certain people have an interest in making sure she does not discover the truth. [=MNM=] was active from January 20 to June 19, 2012.
* '''Turn To Clouds''': A young woman, recently relocated to Florida, makes video diaries for her friend in California. She discovers a strange hidden compartment in her home, and begins to have strange fears about events occuring around her. Now discontinued.
* '''Turn To Memories''': Andrea and her new roommate [[spoiler:Aimee]] post video blogs about their newfound friendship and daily activities, and about getting used to unfamiliar surroundings. Meanwhile, figures on their periphery begin to make plans which bode ill for the two girls.

The unfiction thread for the followup series begins [[http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=33515 here.]] '''NOTE: the unfiction thread on the later series will contain spoilers for TJAP beginning from the first post.'''

----
!!TJA Projects provides examples of:
%%* AbandonedPlayground: [[http://youtu.be/qXGHIQWEJFU A Walk in the Park]]
* AdultsAreUseless: Played with. TJ is doing whatever she can to protect her child, although it's arguable as to how effective she can be against Slender Man. Nearly parental figure mentioned in the series does ''something'', even if it is just babysitting.
* ArsonMurderAndJaywalking: The antagonists threaten children, terrorize impoverished women, are responsible for ruining the lives of several families...and ''stole Amy's guitar''.
* BloodFromTheMouth: [[spoiler:TJ. Averted as it's not blood but a strange black substance.]]
* TheCameo:
** [[spoiler:Evan from WebVideo/EverymanHYBRID in the [[http://youtu.be/l_NE36JpuJc Our Trip To Jersey vid]]]] when the girls go out of state. He's looking at a tank.
** Also [[spoiler:Xakk, Gavin, and others from the "5zer02" vlog, and an appearance from The Outside Agents.]]
* ChildrenAreSpecial: One of the possible reasons why Slenderman and Sight seem interested in Dahlia.
* CreepyDoll: Dahlia's clown doll.
* CrossOver: With another vlog called WebVideo/FiveZer02
%%* DistressedDude
%%* FanService: Just, fan service.
%%* FiveFingerDiscount: Pulled by Amy at one point.
* FoolishSiblingResponsibleSibling: TJ as the responsible one and her brother as the foolish one.
* GainaxEnding: With the august happening mostly on Twitter and youtube censoring the ending isn't fully there. [[spoiler:A Literal ShootTheDog was uploaded then removed, reaction video mentioned lost time, next video showing the lost time was censored from youtube because of SelfHarm which caused TJ to [[http://20dollarwitchery.tumblr.com/post/10752324932/what-was-the-ending-gonna-be-before-shit-got-fucked revise]] the ending down to the final [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MwFz-QNSjjA answers]] video.]]
* GlamorousSingleMother: Averted with TJ. Motherhood + Slender Man weirdness is not easy.
* HeterosexualLifePartners: TJ and Amy.
** Both in-game and out-of-game. After a viewer reported them to child services, the two purportedly had problems convincing them that they weren't a couple.
* HumanoidAbomination: Slender Man as always.
* IAmAHumanitarian: So, Amy finds a dead girl on the lawn and doesn't mention it to TJ. Where did the body go and how did poor broke Amy afford those steaks she served for her and TJ a few days later? You know the ones she made the Soylent Green joke about...
* ImprobableInfantSurvival: Tension over whether this trope is played straight or subverted fuels much of the series.
%%* JitterCam
* TheMedic: TJ is a nurse. [[CombatMedic A nurse that carries a knife and a handgun.]]
* NoMedicationForMe: Amy starts off this way. [[spoiler:And goes back to it in "Research/Heading to Indiana".]]
%%* PapaWolf: Jake. [[spoiler:It doesn't work out too well.]]
* PhysicalScarsPsychologicalScars: [[spoiler:Amy]].
* PracticalJoke: This is what the girls initially think is happening.
* RealLifeWritesThePlot:
** As of the 06/10/11 Update entry, the girls mention joining the military to solve their financial problems. Apparently, the creators are actually planning to start basic training in January 2012.
** A ''lot'' more of it actually, as one of the creators mention in [[http://20dollarwitchery.tumblr.com/post/8761978799/to-the-user-on-unfiction-who-was-wondering-what-is-real#notes an OOG blog post]].
** Even more with the ending [[http://20dollarwitchery.tumblr.com/post/10754548207/what-caused-shit-to-explode-to-the-point-the-beautiful OOG Blog.]]
%%* SanitySlippage
* SelfHarm:
** [[spoiler:Amy tears out her nose ring and pulls out a pinky nail]].
** [[spoiler:Second last video taken down from youtube because of this (see Unfiction for mirror).]]
* ShoutOut: Mostly to other works which feature children in peril.
** Not to mention the obligatory [[WebVideo/MarbleHornets "20 dollars"]] meme.
** [[spoiler:Xakk makes several references to the protagonists of some other Slenderseries in "More Questions, No Answers".]] References to other slender series are made by the main characters as well.
** [[spoiler:Xakk does it again in "Searching for the Tripp House" where he mentions Patrick from WebVideo/MLAndersen.]]
* TalkativeLoon: [[spoiler:Amy]] in [[http://youtu.be/9-wQRoqx4LQ Look at the Liar]]
%%* TeenPregnancy: TJ with Dahlia.
* YouKilledMyFather:
** [[spoiler:Amy to Slenderman.]]
** Also, [[spoiler:TJ probably killing Jake in his guise as the Plague Doctor.]]
* VeryLooselyBasedOnATrueStory: Patricia Pearl Tripp (aka Sight) was actually a kidnapping victim [[spoiler:in the 20th century rather than the 19th century as in the series]]. Involvement of Slender Man not actually true. [[ParanoiaFuel We hope.]]
