"Mr Coat" (formerly known as "That Fellow In The Coat"), is an online VideoReviewShow created by Stefan Ellison, now part of the ''WebVideo/MrCoatAndFriends'' site. Originally just a show discussing nostalgic things from the 80s and 90s such as ''Series/BoyMeetsWorld'' and ''Magazine/DisneyAdventures'' among others, the show's range has expanded to many other varied topics, most notably animated series, feature films, director tributes and providing top 10/11 lists on occasion. Another series in the "That Fellow In The Coat" canon is Character Profiles, in which he analyses a film or television character. His videos can be seen [[http://thatfellowinthecoat.com/fellowcoat.php here.]]

!!This web series provides examples of:
* ArtifactTitle: He doesn't wear a coat very often anymore.
* BerserkButton: He ''very'' much dislikes it when people call an adaptation of the original work a remake of the earlier film version, especially with Creator/TimBurton's ''Film/CharlieAndTheChocolateFactory'' and the 2014 ''Film/{{Annie|2014}}'' movie. He does make exception to this for films that take more from the earlier movie, like Creator/GusVanSant's ''Film/{{Psycho|1998}}'' and the 2003 version of ''Film/{{The Italian Job|2003}}''.
* CrossOver: With [[WebVideo/RebelTaxi Pan Pizza]] in his Raven episode of Character Profile.
* DeadpanSnarker: More deadpan than snarky, but he still makes a few sarcastic quips.
* MusicalEpisode: [[http://thatfellowinthecoat.com/fellowmaxbialystock.php This]] video
* PetPeeveTrope: His list of [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fx6_5wkN4N4 Top Ten Annoying Film Cliches]], which includes blatant ProductPlacement, {{Celebrity Voice Actor}}s chosen for their name rather than skill, [[CorruptCorporateExecutive The Evil Developer]], overuse of Slow-Motion, jerk boyfriends, [[WhenYouComingHomeDad The Workaholic Father]], shaky-cam, [[EndingFatigue Never-ending Epilogues]], {{Food Fight}}s, and [[ThirdActMisunderstanding The Misunderstanding]].
* PrecisionFStrike: Typically avoids swearing, but has used some light words like "damn" and "hell". He's also called one particular Oscar decision "the most dickish move". However, in his slam on the AnimatedAdaptation of ''Film/TheWizardOfOz'', he makes this bleeped comment about how the show revived the Wicked Witch:
-->There's magic, and then there's bull''shit''. This. Is bull''shit''.
** [[SubvertedTrope However, if you look close enough you can see he doesn't actually say the word]].
* SharedUniverse: Because of numerous cameos, he's part of the Reviewaverse.
