84	His "Knightmares" are not mere perceptions entirely generated by his brain (i.e. dreams): they are actually visions of the future. This explains how he could dream about Barry Allen "being too early" in ''[[Film/BatmanVSupermanDawnofJustice BvS]]'', when he didn't even know about Barry Allen's existence, let alone the powers he had.
85	* As a corollary, he regularly used clairvoyance to be always sure to [[MundaneUtility make the right investments]] and become so rich.
86	** This could also lead to an epic and extremely dark scene, set even later during the Knightmare future, where Batman has to fight an evil Superman, who manages to burn Batman's eyes and the surrounding skin on his face via EyeBeams. As a result, Batman's appearance turns into a twisted version of his comic book look: milky white blind eyes, surrounded by charred black skin. Then Superman tries to hit him, believing this to be a CurbStompBattle due to Batman's blindness... and Batman dodges. Again and again. This is followed by an ArmorPiercingQuestion by Batman: "Tell me... when does the future start?" Cue OhCrap look by Superman, who realizes Superman could not use his eyes anymore, but he could still use his clairvoyance to see a millisecond into the future, nullifying his blindness.

89	Working off a bit from a theory in [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x8_HoSJED0A this video]] and WhatCouldHaveBeen, where Snyder had originally envisioned a [[spoiler:relationship between Bruce and Lois that developed during Clark's death, which in turn led to Bruce hesitating at a crucial moment to protect her from being killed by Darkseid because he wasn't sure if the child she was pregnant with was [[MamasBabyPapasMaybe his or Clark's]]]]. Naturally, it got {{Executive Veto}}ed, but there was still that line from Knightmare-Superman back in ''[=BvS=]'' ("She was my world... and you took her from me.") that still apparently alludes to that original plan. So basically, it wasn't ''just'' the loss of his wife and [[spoiler:unborn child]] that rendered Superman vulnerable to Anti-Life, but it was also being shown by Darkseid that [[spoiler:the two people he thought he could trust went behind his back like that and that the kid might not even have been his]]. However, Barry going back in time to warn Bruce but going back too early ends up inadvertently being what's needed to prevent the Knightmare - Bruce knows beforehand that Lois is "the key" to Superman so he [[spoiler:doesn't try anything shady with her]] and thus feels more driven to actually [[spoiler:[[HeroicSacrifice do what he needs to do to prevent the Knightmare from happening]]]].

92	J'onn J'onnz was as invested in helping Martha come to terms with her grief for Clark as he was for Lois. So, as soon as he had concluded the meeting with Lois for which he had impersonated Martha, he went to the real Martha and used Martian mind-altering telepathy to (very carefully and sensitively) impart the memory of the conversation upon her. Along with aiding their recovery from grief, it also ensured that no awkward follow-up would occur should Lois ask Martha about the conversation which in reality, she never really had.
