It's possible that the writers had to change it because it would create a PlotHole; Azkadellia stole Glitch's brain, so the plan to hide DG would have been discovered, and there probably wasn't a good enough reason for LE not to tell DG's father that his daughter is actually alive (and therefore include him in on the plan). |
