[[WMG: Gwen is from multiverse world Earth-1218]]
* She is from a world where everything of the universe in which she now resides in is fictional. And she has to to be from our reality to know everything she does, which has the name Earth-1218 in the Marvel-Multiverse. Admittedly, one problem with this WMG is that Earth-1218's main characteristic is that ''it never interacts with Earth-616'' outside of the [[FourthWallMailSlot letters page]]. However, Marvel Multiverse has (or had... curse you ''Comicbook/SecretWars2015''!) several worlds which were ''almost like'' our own except for some minor detail. Like where a universe hopping Spider-Man once and met Stan Lee (Earth-38119) or in which the ''ComicBook/MarvelTeamUp'' comic run longer (Earth-12180).
** Maybe she's from the universe of ''Comicbook/{{Powerless}}''?
** The original WMG seemed to be Jossed by BlandNameProduct ([[Videogame/GrandTheftAuto Car Crimes VII]]), but as that turned out to be from a fake reality, who knows? What's more, there might be no Watsonian answer to the question anymore as the comic literally stated that she now exists because she was drawn into an issue of ''Howard the Duck''.

[[WMG: She will gain regenerative superpowers, but not pain immunity.]]
* Jossed. Or at least she gained an entirely different powerset: [[ExploitingTheFourthWall Medium Manipulation]].

[[WMG: Gwen has SelfDuplication.]]
She can break panels and go through them, and she's able to interact with versions of her in different panels. Maybe she'll be able to pull forward other versions of herself and make them fight alongside her.
* Confirmed as of GSB #4.

[[WMG: The Evil Gwen arc has doomed Gwen to eventually turn evil at some point.]]
* Any comic book arc where a character meets an evil future version of themselves practically guarantees that a later writer will see that arc; and turn them evil. So if Gwen's popularity grows to the point that she becomes a long-running character handled by multiple writers; then she'll eventually get turned evil at some point.

[[WMG: Alternately, Evil Gwen is just Good Gwen trying to preserve the timeline.]]
* Seeing her potential future evil self is an important factor in Gwen deciding that's ''not'' who she wants to be. But by rejecting that future, Evil Gwen will never exist, which means she can't inspire Gwen to become Good Gwen. So at some point Good Gwen will ''pretend'' to have become evil (as EG herself pointed out, nothing she does causes lasting harm) in order to stage the events her younger self witnessed.

[[WMG:It's all just an unusual take one the CelebrityParadox]]
Gwen's home universe is a Marvel universe where Marvel comics are published. Accurate ones, at that.
* Well, that's true of the main Marvel Universe, 616, in which she currently lives.
* That depends on what you're reading. She-Hulk used in-universe 616 comics as evidence in court so they ''must'' be accurate, but whenever we actually see any examples of them those are ''hilariously'' wrong.

[[WMG:Gwen isn't from Earth-1218. She's from [[ComicBook/Marvel1985 Earth-1219]]]]
Come on, think about it, she's from a universe claiming to be the "real world" where superheroes are mere comic book fiction? Yet, we would have heard of a girl named Gwen Poole disappearing, so it cannot be our world. Earth-1219, on the other hand, thinks the Marvel Universe is mere fiction, yet it has more ties than it thinks.
