The remaining 5 characters, along with 6-8 new characters (if any), would then form Group Beta/Omega. However, [[spoiler: since Alice was already confirmed to be the character with focus in Chapter 5 of the Act of Elimination, we can assume that during Chapter 4 for Group Beta/Omega, all 3 remaining contenders would die in some way which sets up the events of Chapter 5.]]

It should be noted that the new character has no Lifeforce on them, and their class story reveals that they're going through the current story events 'for their other half'.

Yoko Taro is technically their true author due to how radically different they are from the originals. This goes well with the meta elements in his storytelling. The fact that the Act of ''[=SINoALICE=]'' takes place in our world just add fuel to the flame.

With that in mind, it's possible that Alice created ''[=SINoALICE=]'' as a way of dealing with her mental issues/trauma. The cyclic nature of characters killing each other could be symbolic of Alice feeling trapped in life and being in the verge of killing herself.

I suspect that the cat is in fact Dinah, who is Alice's cat in the original story of ''Alice in Wonderland''.
