[[WMG:The followup to "Thanks To Them" will focus on Eda, Raine, and the other witches trying to survive the Collector after Season 2.]]
It will take place on the Boiling Isles [[SynchronousEpisodes during the events of Luz and friends' adventures]] and revolve around Eda and Raine building an army to fight the Collector, as well as the Hexside kids. The ending will show the Hexsquad returning to the Demon Realm and the final episode of the trilogy will have the two parties join forces.

[[WMG:Building off that, the special after "Thanks To Them" will be ADayInTheLimelight for the other Hexside students.]]
Principal Bump and the kids will join Eda to resist the Collector's reign. Skara, Mattholomule, Viney, and the Blight Twins will be shown mourning the Hexsquad's loss, while Boscha realizes that her nasty attitude has driven away her remaining friends and tries to atone by helping beat the Collector.

[[WMG:The Collector is human, or a TranshumanAbomination at least]]
It turns out he has human ears and is described as neither witch or demon. Perhaps they're like Luz and Philip. A human child who stumbled upon a supernatural plane or dimension and slowly gained cosmic power.

[[folder:Discussion]]
* On the other hand, it could be that as someone who is neither, he just has humanlike ears by chance. Unlike the other humans in the series, the Collector doesn't wield the magic of the Boiling Isles. Instead, he seems to have his own magic, and knowledge thereof, which he taught Philip in the first place. Collector/artificial magic instead seems to be of a different nature compared to witch or Titan magic, needing neither circles, glyphs, nor bile sac to operate.
* I'm troper who wrote this WMG and I did ''not'' mean the Isles or any other part of the Demon Realm, but a third, Celestial Realm of CosmicEntity level beings who adopted him and gave him his magic as a [[MirrorCharacter "Mirror"]] of sorts to Luz.
[[/folder]]

[[WMG: Manny is a human incarnation of the Collector's father and as such the later is Luz's "half-brother" of sorts]]
Inspired by [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2LrnYzD8-_M this]] video.

In the video, The Roundtable thinks the Collector parents will be important to their arc (This also applies to ''many'' more characters) and also theorizes, among other things, that these Celestial Beings were at war with the Titans, that the Collector is a prince like King, that the "Grand Huntsman" the Titan Trappers worshiped is a different Celestial and perhaps the Collector's parent and that maybe their parents will come back.

Just recently this got me thinking, is there ''any'' reason the Collector looks ''so much'' like Luz beyond RuleOfSymbolism? Why was Luz's father killed off in the Backstory without a single appearance? Is there really no connection beyond the thematic one between the main character and such an important villain?

An idea got into my head, Asuming he was right in his theories, what if the Celestials were at war with the Titans and after one event or another lead to the Collector being sealed and his parents, presuming his death, [[KnightTemplarParent went genocidal as a response]]. Later probably because of some kind of punishment, the father incarnated, ([[GotVolunteered or got incarnated]]) into life as a Human, met Camila, fell in love and fathered her daughter... then died, probably returning to his true form. Him being "from the stars" would also explain why he likes Cosmic Frontier.

If this is true, [[ChekhovsGunman I expect him to show up]], possibly as one of the people Belos will try to [[DemonicPossession possess]] Both to become a PhysicalGod and to spite Luz and the Collector in one go. Two birds with one stone.

[[WMG:The Wailing Star was created as a babysitter for The Collector]]
The Wailing Star is shown to be able to bring books to life, and in fact, that seems to be its only known ability. Since The Collector is specifically mentioned to be a ''child'' from the stars, it's possible that the Wailing Star was originally meant to keep the Collector occupied, and help stop him from being bored, by bringing his books to life, and letting him fight the monsters and things from those books, without the need to harm any living beings.

The capture of the Owl Beast might have been originally intended to allow the Wailing Star to return them to life, for the purposes of entertaining the Collector.

Since the Collector was imprisoned, the Wailing Star continues to perform its task regardless, bringing the books of the Boiling Isles to life, and forcing most of them to be confine day to the library, as the creatures summoned by the Star are too powerful for many witches, compared to the Collector, particularly when coupled with the witches making fiction of their own.

[[WMG:Possible plots for the three 44 minute specials]]
* Hexside helping out the other Boiling Isles inhabitants (we never did find out what happened to the place and its residents after "Labyrinth Runners")
* The origins of King’s father and the Collector
* Odalia and Kikimora going through a redemption arc
* The Titan Trappers finding another way to the Boiling Isles and seeing the Collector in person and either joining him or turning against him.
* A CharacterDevelopment arc for the Collector.
* The origins of the portal door and why it was outside the Clawthornes' residence.
* The Collector having a redemption arc and a HeelFaceTurn.
* Belos will restore his body and either try to destroy Luz & friends once and for all, or they're forced into an EnemyMine against the Collector.
* The [=CATTs=] will become LaResistance against the Collector, likely with a new name (Darius won't like the new name, abbreviation and theme, either, and Eberwolf will rib him about it) since Belos is presumed dead.
** Keeping with the naming scheme, the group will call themselves the [=RATTs=], "Rebelling Against Tyrannical Toddlers" or something along those lines.
* Upon learning the true purpose of the coven sigils and the Day of Unity, the people of the Boiling Isles, the coven heads especially, will start questioning their faith in Belos.
* Jean-Luc will return.
* Flashbacks to the lives of Philip and Caleb before and after discovering the Isles.
* Luz and Vee's friend groups interacting, culminating in Vee's true identity being exposed to the latter. Surprisingly, they will accept her as her basilisk self.

[[WMG: Eda's Curse is technically the Collector's "toy".]]
Seeing the Collector's childish nature, it's possible he didn't try to capture the Owl Beast out of malice, but rather out of [[InnocentlyInsensitive an insensitive innocence]], believing the creature to be yet another "play thing". He made the Owl Beast into a scroll in order to become an Owl Beast as part of a game. So when Eda tries to fight him in her Owl Beast form, he will recognize it as his "toy" and strip her of her Owl Beast powers.

[[WMG: The Collector will turn the Boiling Isles into an EldritchLocation.]]
As a result of them making "an Owl House", the Collector will transform the Isles into a nightmarish (even by BI standards) realm filled with AlienGeometries and horrifying creatures that hunt down the witches as they try to survive the Collector's "games".

[[WMG: Or, alternatively, the Collector will turn the Boiling Isles in a literal child's paradise.]]
Think something along the lines of [[VideoGame/Mother3 New Pork City]], but with far more many spooky elements present.

[[WMG: King will become the BigGood to the Isles' inhabitants.]]
As he's forced to play "Owl House" with the Collector, King will CalvinBall his way through it, making up various rules and stipulations in order to distract the Collector and keep the witches safe from their games. As a result, the witches will start to look up to him as a protector and rally behind him when the time comes to defeat the Collector.

[[WMG: Alador will build an artificial hand for Eda.]]
Considering the kind of havoc the Isles will be facing, she'll doubtlessly need it. It'll probably be made from spare Abomaton parts, and let Eda use the purple sludge as a MorphWeapon.
** Why not just a ''hook''? She does look cool in a ''pirate'' costume.

[[WMG: The Collector will have a Redemption Arc]]
Despite being a homicidal maniac god, they do appear to not be actively malicious, due to legitimately wanting to have friends, play, and even have fun with others but mostly being unaware of the true damage of his actions.
** King will help the Collector see the error of their ways by pointing out that he knows what it's like to expect everyone to do what he wants, and that he learned there's more to life than that.

[[WMG: The Collector is a TragicVillain]]
Despite being a shadow who is ready for the draining spell for the Day of Unity, they does look like that they don't want to be alone, meaning that all they want are friends.

[[WMG: The Collector will "collect" the Boiling Isles residents.]]
As the Collector forces the witches to play their games, the losers will be added to their collection by being transformed into scrolls just as they did with the Owl Beast.
* Mostly confirmed. [[spoiler: The Collector does "collect" the Boiling Isles residents so they can be part of their game, but transforms them into puppets, not scrolls.]]

[[WMG: The Collector "playing The Owl House" will get heavily meta.]]
And it will involve the world of the Owl House shifting into different versions of itself, all of which were plans of production that weren't used in the show proper. We could see allusions to plot points that had to be dropped due to the shortening, and maybe even going all the way back to the pilot or even beta plans. Either way, it will be trippy.

[[WMG: Camila is going to ''adore'' the palismen.]]
She is a veterinarian, after all.
* Confirmed.

[[WMG: Belos will have a HeelFaceTurn.]]
* Seems unlikely.
** This is the same man who said "Fuck Witches", and not in the way Caleb meant. This man wanted to [[FinalSolution commit genocide on the Boiling Isles]] because of his inane hatred for wild magic. Let's not get started on the fact that he also manipulated the entirety of the Boiling Isles too, alongside [[AbusiveParents his entire deal with Hunter]]. If anything? The Collector would have a far better chance of getting hit with the "I'm good now" button.

[[WMG: Vee will help teach the witches how to blend in in the Human Realm.]]
Her months spent at Reality Check Summer Camp conveniently taught her how to act like a normal human, aiding in her cover. With Luz's witch friends stuck with her however long it takes them to figure out a way back to the Demon Realm, Vee would be perfect to help teach them how to act in this world from the perspective of someone from their own.
* Possibly Confirmed. She could have helped them to blend off screen. We see Vee trying to show them how different a human wake up is, her practicing Spanish with them and her in charge of the bus routes when the group goes exploring in Luz's absence.

[[WMG:King will learn how to open portals by himself and use it to banish the Collector into a black hole or something and get the exiles back from Gravesfield]]

[[WMG:Terra Snapdragon will [[DrivenToSuicide commit suicide.]]]]
And the heroes will find her body, with her motives for killing herself unknown. Shock? Actual regret? Feeling like she had nothing to live for anymore after finding out she lived her whole life in a lie? Feeling like since she had worked her entire life for paradise her life was pointless now? Who knows. Also, I could see her hanging herself with one of her vines or poisoning herself with her own tea.

[[WMG:King will surpass his father and [[KilledOffForReal kill the Collector for real]]]]

[[WMG: King's dreaming in the In-Between Realm will cause him to communicate with Luz.]]
When the Collector was trapped, his dreaming there was the result of his bond with them. What if he still dreams there even after freeing the Collector? If he figures this out, he could utilize the mirror cubes to contact Luz and the others in the Human Realm and let them know what's happening in the Demon Realm, possibly even coordinating a way back to it for them.

[[WMG:The first special will have a montage of Luz's friends' time in the Human Realm.]]
Most (if not all) of which would've been plots for 22 minute episodes.
* Confirmed. While it's unknown if they would have been made into episodes, "Thanks to Them" does indeed start with a montage.

[[WMG: Eda will team up with her old school friends to fight the Collector.]]
The reason why Eda was shown imagining younger versions of Raine, Lilith, Bump, Darius, Perry, Alador, and Odalia in "King's Tide" was to specifically set up them having to team up together as they try to survive the Collector's reign, during which it'll go into their shared past and explain what exactly caused them to fall out from each other.

[[WMG:Hunter will go around in Gravesfield so as to familiarize himself with his new home and see the statues of the town's founders:]]
[[spoiler: Philip and Caleb Wittebane (the latter being Hunter's "template". Flapjack will see him, as well and cry; Hunter and his fellow palismen will console the poor birdy)]]!!
* Jossed. [[spoiler:Hunter is the only one left out of exploring and only Willow and Gus see the statues]].

[[WMG: Season 3 will feature a flashback to Philip and Caleb in the 1600s, possibly presented as Hunter having PastLifeMemories.]]

[[WMG: Luz, King, and Eda won't meet up again until the final special, or possibly the end of the second one.]]
The will then make a [[BreakingTheFourthWall meta joke]] about how long it has been since they last saw each other.
* Confirmed.

[[WMG: Luz will gain a short-lived SuperMode in the SeriesFinale.]]
Not only that, but it will have [[GoldAndWhiteAreDivine elements]] that evoke [[Characters/TheOwlHouseOther the Good Witch Azura]], creating a BookEnds to Luz's summer in the Boiling Isles.
* It'll be like [[spoiler: [[WesternAnimation/{{Amphibia}} Anne's]] sacrifice and resurrection: The [[DeadlyUpgrade supermode will kill her]], but she'll be resurrected by the titan]].

[[WMG: Hunter will be HappilyAdopted by the Clawthornes upon the realization he's practically almost a LivingDistantAncestor.]]
Given that Philip constantly framed Hunter as Caleb's child (by labelling himself as his uncle), the Clawthornes (should they prove to be descendants of Caleb) will adopt him as a nephew of-sorts as well, this time providing him a loving home by the end of the SeriesFinale.
* With Raine being the second stepparent by marriage with Eda, titan willing, and Darius as the cool uncle.

[[WMG: Much of the Boiling Isles will have been drastically depleted by the Draining Spell.]]
The Collector stopped it in time before anyone could ''die'' from it, but now everyone is drastically low on their natural bile supply. By the end, Luz and company will have started spreading teachings of the old glyph system, which will allow the drained witches to continue performing magic while they wait for their own innate magic supply to replenish over time.

[[folder:Discussion]]
* However, magic bile is implied to be able to regenerate itself, as the witch uses it up with their magic. Seeing as most witches seem fine with a day or so's rest, even after doing a lot of powerful magic (like Gus and Willow), they might only be weakened for a day or two. They're unlikely to face the same issues that Eda and Lilith have, owing to their curse.\
That said, though, it is also possible that the draining spell may have had a detrimental effect on the Boiling Isle's BackgroundMagicField. Maybe it will weaken the power of glyphs, or they'll be replaced by something else if the magic changes itself.\
Since Witches recharge their magic, they may need to get it, directly, or indirectly, from the BackgroundMagicField provided by the Titan. Without that, or if it is weakened, the Boiling Isle's witches may be operating on reduced magic capacity for a while. This could justify the teaching of glyphs, since they are less of a constant drain, and might individually take less power than witch magic does.
[[/folder]]

[[WMG: Belos will be the TrueFinalBoss.]]
Belos's final confrontation with Luz seems inevitable, but in the Human Realm, he's restricted to once again only using his palismonster form, which would just be a duplication of the kids' fight against him in King's Tide but his opponents are even weaker. Instead, he's going to use that patience of his to regenerate fully before following the kids back to the Boiling Isles. Once the Collector is neutralized as a threat to Belos, he'll reappear, and we'll get to see him going all-out - his [[LightningBruiser palismonster form]], his artificial magic staff's energy blasts, summoning flesh monsters, the thousands of glyph combinations he must have designed by now, and his teleportation circles - and it will be a truly difficult fight with some thematically circular ending, like sealing him away in the In-Between Realm like he tried to abandon the Collector to.

[[WMG: Luz and co. will research Philip's past in hopes of finding a way back to the Boiling Isles.]]
Since Philip and his brother were brought to the Boiling Isles long before the Portal Door was made, they will reason that the witch who lured them there used another method of crossing realms, and try to seek out/replicate that method.
* Confirmed in "Thanks to Them". Sort of, they don't actually look into Philip's past but find a rebus instead.

[[folder:Discussion]]
* Possibly foreshadowed by the background images shown in Hollow Mind, the discussion of giraffes, and the Titan pools. It's unlikely that the giraffes would have been exiled through the portal door, as they would be too large and numerous to fit. In the background, Philip and Caleb were shown to have encountered and followed a witch through a cave into the Boiling Isles.\
We also know that Titan's blood can traverse both realms, since Luz's bodged door was able to take her between, and into the human realm, albeit imperfectly. Titan's blood may be able to get them back, as it doesn't rely on the BackgroundMagicField, being inherently magical. A pool could easily appear and take them to the Isles.
[[/folder]]

[[WMG: Vee will be the one to defeat Belos once and for all.]]
When Belos confronts Luz and her friends on Earth, Vee will ultimately use her ManaDrain ability to remove the magic from Belos's form - and since he needs magic to hold himself together, this will be the end of him. This will be a KarmicDeath, not only because of his own attempt to drain the magic out of all the Boiling Isles, but because he had Vee created and experimented upon solely for this ability.
* Jossed. Vee does use her ManaDrain on him with some success, but Belos retaliates before she can properly damage him.
** However, this does not mean she can't do it in the future.

[[WMG: Odalia, Kikimora, and/or some of the Coven Heads will try to earn the Collector's favor.]]
Hoping to [[TheQuisling replicate what they had with Belos]], they will try and offer their services to the Collector. This will quickly fail, as the Collector isn't interested in "servants", only "playmates".
* Alternatively, they'll try to earn King's favor after learning he is a Titan (unaware that he doesn't like worship) or attempting to kidnap to use him as a way to gain power.
* The Collector will accept their services and transform them into toys so they serve as his playthings.
* [[spoiler: Confirmed for Odalia, though she ends up being nothing more than a maid for the Collector.]]

[[WMG: Alador and Darius will rekindle their former friendship.]]
With the Collector's threat hanging over them, the two will decide to end their feud and be friends again. And it will possibly also be revealed that Odalia secretly engineered the rift between them in order to monopolize Alador's time, and focus him on what she deemed "more important pursuits".

[[WMG: Eda and the Owl Beast will be separated by the Collector.]]
The Collector, seeing the Owl Beast as part of their "collection", will separate it from Eda.
* This could end up leaving Eda quite weakened, with a part of her that she's had for so long and finally come to terms with having been literally ripped out of her body.

[[WMG: Lilith will finally reveal her own harpy form to combat the Collector]]

[[WMG: After the death of Belos, the belief in the Isles' titan as the one true god will decline]]
* Since Belos was the one who introduced the worship of the titan as a means to smuggle in monotheism through the backdoor, the Boiling Isles inhabitants are gonna try to revive the old faiths, gods and rituals
* And since Odalia is an asshole, she's gonna cook up the Boiling Isles equivalent of racist neopaganism
** Judging by several graffiti in "For The Future", people indeed lost faith in the titan (and, OFC, Belos).

[[WMG: Eda and Lilith will dvelve in ancient magic to fight the collector...]]
...and discover an old glyph spell, that was banned and buried: The death glyph combo (an [[OneHitKill instagib spell]] like the [[Franchise/HarryPotter "avada kedavra" curse from Harry Potter]]), that could kill any living being, even the Collector.

[[folder:Discussion]]
* This seems unlikely, since drawing a death glyph would almost certainly be so complex so as to take too long to Ben usable, except for traps. The Titan's magic, being implied to be sapient in some form, is also unlikely to be happy with being used in that manner.\
Then again, one of the coven scouts was implied to be able to cast a spell to put Hunter "out of his misery".
[[/folder]]

[[WMG:The Collector will be revealed to be an alien from space.]]
Kikimora called him a child from the stars, she will explain that the Collector originally came from space from a far off star. The Collector's race when they die they turn into something that can sustain life a sun.

[[WMG:There are ''two'' Collectors.]]
There's the tall, adult Collector that hunted the Owl Beast and killed the Titans, and the child Collector who was in contact with Belos and freed at the end of "King's Tide". King's father trapped the child Collector thinking they were the other one.
* This would explain why the collector looks different in the flashbacks, and why there is more than one collector tablet, with the one the Titan Trappers had and the one Belos had.
* [[spoiler: "For the Future" confirms there are multiple Collectors and heavily implies that previous ones are responsible for hunting down the Titans, but it’s still unclear whether or not the one that captured the Owl Beast was "our" Collector.]]

[[WMG:Upon meeting the Collector, Eda and Lilith will lose control of the Owl Beast.]]
Knock Knock Knockin' on Hooty's Door showed that bright flashes of light were a major TraumaButton for the Owl Beast and caused Eda's curse to flare up. Seeing the Collector may trigger a much greater response in the Owl Beast as it [[OhCrap realizes just who it is dealing with,]] triggering the beast to take over the Clawthorne siblings and [[ScrewThisImOuttaHere and try to flee.]]
* [[spoiler: Confirmed for Eda, but Lilith's curse didn't act up at all.]]

[[folder:Discussion]]
* Does Lilith even ''have'' an Owl Beast? She "shared" Eda's curse, but the magic might have taken that to be a case of turning into a monstrous form when she loses control as a result of the curse, rather than there being another owl beast created and put into Lilith. Otherwise, it would be logical that as Eda calmed her version down, then the changes would have taken effect of Lilith, since the same beast would be between them.
[[/folder]]

[[WMG: Caleb Wittebane (?) didn't die in the duel with Philip]]
Philip mistakenly thought, that he killed his friend/brother, but in reality, Caleb was "just" severely injured, but survived his duel, mostly because his lover knew healing magic. He then went on to marry the mother of his child and both became the progenitors of the Clawthorne clan. His wife OFC took special care of not letting Philip know, that Caleb survived (he changed his name and face through healing magic (i.e. magical cosmetic surgery)).
[[folder:Discussion]]
* But then how did Philip make Grimwalkers? They explicitly need a bone from the original person being cloned.
** Died of old age, and Philip went grave-robbing?
* On the other hand, the witch would have little reason to curse Philip in that way, if he had only injured her lover. Caleb being a witch unable to use his special brand of innate magic would also make him stand out otherwise.
[[/folder]]

[[WMG: Caleb and the witch from Belos' memories made the portal door]]
It's possible one of them came into the other's world like Philip described arriving through Eclipse Lake, and the two made a portal so they could go back and forth as denizens from two different realms. Some proof could be that Philip already knew how to make a portal and had procured everything he needed before meeting The Collector, meaning it's likely possible for one to figure out how to do it. However, it's also possible the portal was either lost accidentally or intentionally hidden until Eda found when she was running away.
* Caleb and his wife wanted they [[HalfHumanHybrid child (part witch and part human)]] to have the opportunity to know both worlds.
* The reason the portal is connected to a house in the human world is because Caleb built it as a second home for his new family; that way they would have a place to stay when they visited the human world.

[[folder:Discussion]]
* Plausible, since we know that Philip didn't create the door he describes in his journal, and that would explain why Luz was unable to recreate it fully, even despite her flawed methods, since Philip didn't entirely understand how the door worked, and never anticipated someone to try and remake it. He could have put some false/incorrect information down.
* Although Philip had notes about the creation of the portal in his diary, it is possible that what he actually did was steal his brother's investigation.
* Or... the diary actually used to belong to Caleb. His statue is holding a book, while Philip's is holding a scroll.
[[/folder]]

[[WMG: The Collector will have a HeelRealization that King was lying to him]]
Considering on how they dislike liars, and since they are unaware of King lying to them, it is likely they will later realize that King was lying to them.

[[WMG: King will feel guilty for lying to The Collector]]
Despite lying to The Collector, it is likely that he is feeling guilty for lying to them, and likely sympathize with them over being alone.

[[WMG: Hunter will take on the name Caleb, this time for real]]
After the truth about the Wittebane brothers comes out to the Hexside Squad, he'll eventually come to take the name as his own, both as a way of signifying how he is distancing himself from Belos' influence and as a way of honoring his first predecessor and namesake for being the person he was.

[[WMG: The Collector will reveal the truths about Belos and King to the Boiling Isles.]]
Namely, that Belos was Philip Wittebane and how he worked with them to cast the draining spell to kill everyone, how King was the one who released them and King's true identity as the Titan's son.

[[WMG: The Titan Trappers will return.]]
They will attempt to declare their loyalty to them, but The Collector will not be as rewarding as they think, possibly after finding out they tried to sacrifice King.

[[WMG: Luz & Amity and/or Eda & Raine will be shown getting married in a DistantFinale.]]
Or, at the least, seen deciding to move in together.
* Luz's and Amity's honeymoon will consist of them [[AscendedMeme dressing up and traveling together]].
* Maybe Darius and Eberwolf are also gonna marry (and OFC Darius becoming his husband won't deter Eberwolf from ribbing him just as usual).

[[WMG: King will momentarily become [[AttackOfThe50FootWhatever a giant.]]]]
The Collector could grow him to (not quite) full Titan size to use him against our heroes.

[[WMG: Eda and Raine will have TheBigDamnKiss onscreen.]]
Could take place during the final conflict or after it.

[[WMG:As a "child from the stars," the Collector came from Mars.]]
[[TheCuckooLanderWasRight And he will collect our teeth to]]... [[BaitAndSwitch No, not power his time machine]]; just because [[ItAmusedMe it's funny]].

[[WMG: The series will end with Luz's quinceañera.]]
It's been mentioned by the crew that they had wanted to do an episode on Luz's quinceañera before the loss of a full season 3. So to make up for it, the final scene of the series will take place on Luz's fifteenth birthday where it'll show the entire cast, having successfully restored the Boiling Isles back to normal, coming together to celebrate her quinceañera as well as their victory.
* Also, such a scene would be a fitting way to end the show made by someone who had previously worked on ''WesternAnimation/GravityFalls'', which also ended with the cast celebrating the protagonists' birthday after saving the world from a reality-warping villain.

[[WMG: [[spoiler: Odalia will be the final antagonist, and she'll try and steal the Collector's power]]]]
[[spoiler: Odalia, after all, she's done, will likely be abandoned by everyone, including her own family. But being Odalia, her hunger for power won't stop. And being alienated from everyone will drive her to try and take the Collector's abilities for herself]].

[[WMG: King is going to become the wise and noble ruler of the Boiling Isles]]
King has been defined by his immature arrogance and desire to feel important. But having to both placate and restrain an actual childish deity to keep the Boiling Isles safe, he's going to have to grow up a lot in terms of maturity and empathy. By the time the conflict ends, King's noble efforts will lead him to not only become the next Emperor but gain the power and size his father once held. Only he'll have the experience and wisdom to use that power wisely.

[[WMG: Luz will shuttle back and forth between Earth and the Boiling Isles]]
I don't think Luz will completely abandon both worlds. I think she'll likely build her home and family in the Boiling Isles with Amity, but pay a monthly visit to her mom.

[[WMG: Hunter and the rest of the Hexside Crew will discover that Flapjack was carved by a human]]
Camila will offer to cook pancakes for Luz and her friends. Since the witches don't know what it is, Luz will explain it to them, confused that they don't know, since the name of Hunter's palismen is a synonym for pancake.

[[WMG: Caleb will be revived by the Collector]]
Their reasons:
* They will want revenge on Belos by revealing the whole truth about him, starting with the fact that he is actually a human and what he did to his own brother, and for them there will be no better evidence than Caleb himself.
* They will find out that Belos is still alive and that he has been manipulating them, so as revenge, he will return him to his original human form and use Caleb as a puppet to attack him. From the Collector's point of view, he would also be giving Caleb a chance to get revenge.
* Belos will manipulate them into reviving Caleb and using him to attack Luz.

[[WMG: Caleb will adopt Hunter]]
Related to the above, if he were to be revived by the Collector, he would sadly find that his wife and child passed away centuries ago. Far from considering Hunter an aberration created by his crazy brother, he would consider him a "son".
* Additionally, he would be glad to meet his descendants, the Clawthorne family.

[[WMG: Caleb will appear as [[OurGhostsAreDifferent a ghost]]]]
One way or another, he will be an ally of Luz and her friends:
* He will empathize with Luz's passion for witches and learning magic. So he would become [[SpiritAdvisor her mentor]] on the magic of the times before the rule of Belos. He will even share that, just like Luz, he fell in love with a witch.
* [[TheCavalry He will lead all the Grimwalkers spirits that perished at the hands of Belos]] to stop his brother, or help defeat the Collector.

[[WMG:Amity will think that Luz is cheating on her with Hunter]]
Luz will feel increasingly guilty for [[Recap/TheOwlHouseS2E12ElsewhereAndElsewhen having helped Philip find the Collector]]. Since Hunter is the only one aware of this, she will only discuss it with him. Likewise, Luz will try to help Hunter investigate Philip's brother (Caleb) or accept that he is in fact a human.
Because they are each other's [[SecretKeeper Secret-Keeper]], they will try to solve their problems behind everyone else's back. [[MistakenForCheating Which will cause some misunderstandings]].
* Jossed. While Luz and Hunter do indeed sneak around, but Amity thinks they're [[ItMakesSenseInContext buying cars]] until their secrets are revealed.

[[WMG: There is Titan blood hidden in the Human Realm]]
Caleb and his wife managed to perfect the portal. On one of their trips to the Human Realm, Caleb hid a supply of Titan's blood in order to always have a way to return to the Boiling Isles.
* Some of the blood from this supply has leaked out, creating a natural portal through which objects from the Human Realm continued to reach the Boiling Isles.
* [[spoiler: '''Confirmed'''. There is Titan blood hidden, and while it's not specifically stated who hid it, it seems that Caleb or Evelyn, or both, had a hand in it.]]

[[WMG: The Collector will revive the Grimwalkers]]
* The Collector thinks the "Owl House´s game" requires multiple players... more players, better.
* The Collector will be able to see through the eyes of the Grimwalkers to keep an eye on the population of the Boiling Isles.
* Belos (in Raine's body) will manipulate the Collector so that they revive and control the Grimwalkers.

[[WMG:We will see more of Philip's and Caleb's story]]
* When other children bullied Philip, Caleb would come to his rescue by scaring off bullies with a demon costume, made up of a cape and an owl mask that he himself had carved.
** Just as Belos began wearing a mask inspired by the mask his brother carved when they were children, the Golden Guard outfit was inspired by the costume Caleb wore to protect his little brother.
* Caleb began to question the beliefs of the time when he saw that a female friend was unfairly accused of witchcraft.
* Caleb became interested in the witchcraft of the Boiling Isles because to him it was something that could help people.
** Creating fire out of nothing would have been a great advantage in a time without electricity or other means of keeping warm in winter.
** Healing wounds quickly would save many people from dying from serious infections.

[[WMG:Hunter isn´t "Caleb" but his son]]
It's confirmed that Hunter is a Grimwalker, but what if he wasn't a Grimwalker created from Caleb's bones? What if Philip had started using his "original nephew'"s bones once his brother's bones ran out?
* The other Golden Guardians are never seen without their masks and capes. What if, in addition to hiding that they are clones, it is so that no one sees their round ears? For his part, Hunter has pointed ears like any witch, with no hint that they have been modified like Belos's.
* Sometimes children can be a lot like their parents. Even in the voice.
* Apparently, Hunter is the only Golden Guard that Belos has referred to as "nephew".
** Likely due to his similarity to Caleb, since he's the closest to the "original"
* Did Caleb even have children?

[[WMG: The following who may undergo a DisneyDeath because, well, it's Disney:]]
* Luz
* King
* Eda
* Hunter
* Amity

* [[spoiler:Confirmed for Hunter, he seemingly dies from PossessionBurnout though Flapjack performs a HeroicSacrifice to revive him]].
* [[spoiler:Confirmed for Luz as well. She performs a HeroicSacrifice to save the Collector from being killed by Belos, but is revived by the titan.]]

[[WMG: Season 3 will end with Luz and Amity separated for an excruciatingly long period of time]]
The specifics of how it'll happen are iffy -- maybe Luz will choose to stay in the human realm to honor her promise to her mother; maybe a climatic crisis forces the Hexside kids to return to the demon realm. We'll almost certainly get a scene where the two tearfully realize they can't stay in the same realm. However it happens, it ends with everyone in their respective home universe with no immediate way to cross back.

If this is the route the show decides to take, we'll likely have a post-credits scene where we see Luz finally return, but years later as a fully-grown adult.

* [[spoiler:''Very happily'' Jossed.]]

[[WMG: Philip had an AbusiveDad and was TheUnfavorite.]]
Which led him to increasingly resent "golden child" Caleb as they both grew older.
* Jossed. The Wittebanes were orphans.

[[WMG: Belos will try to create a new Grimwalker as his last remaining plan]]
And he will kidnap Hunter to get essential parts to make it happen. After all, Belos has lost everything after Season 2. He has been reduced to goop and likely lost his human form, his plan to kill all the witches have failed, and he's stuck in a world that has forgotten about witch hunting (or would attack him on sight as a monster). Everything he has worked for is AllForNothing. So, what would Philip do to get some form of victory for himself? Try to recreate Caleb one last time, delusionally thinking he would recreate his childhood days with a loyal Grimwalker.

Ultimately, Hunter will defeat Belos by tricking him into his sacrificial circle needed for the creation of a Grimwalker. The ritual will tear Belos apart for materials, killing the former human as he desperately tries to reach out for Hunter, believing him to be Caleb in his delusional dying eyes. Belos dies for good, but a new Grimwalker is born in the process and bears resemblance to boy Philip but with pointy ears, representing another chance for the Wittebane brothers in spirit.
* Taking into account that Belos tried to possess a Grimwalker in "For the Future", the theory of "Philip Grimwalker" is possible. Apparently, the Grimwalker's body merged with the goop of Belos, perhaps acquiring the necessary ingredients for the creation of a new Grimwalker. Belos even mentioned that the Grimwalker "was not ready" ... that is, someone could use some kind of magic that completes the process.
* Jossed. Belos' main concern throughout the season is getting back to the isles and destroying them once and for all, and doesn't bother with a grimwalker aside from attempting to possess one that was already in the oven, and it was ultimately not ready anyway.

[[WMG: Gus will use his memory viewing spell for therapeutical instead of combat purposes]]

[[WMG: Luz wouldn't be welcomed into the Boiling Isles after the finale]]
In the event of someone revealing that Luz accidentally helped Philip in his quest for power, the citizens of the Boiling Isles might be so cross that they would threaten Luz with death if she's ever caught stepping foot in there ever again. Luz's closest allies will understand that she was manipulated by Philip, but they would recommend laying low for awhile for her own safety.
* Jossed. No such issue occurs.

[[WMG: Alternatively, Luz's friends and found family will call out the mob for being hypocrites.]]
The reason Luz ended up helping Philip in his rise to power was because he tricked her into helping her. She fell for his tricks just as everyone else did. Eda, Amity and all those who love and care for her will [[ShamingTheMob point this out to anyone who criticizes her for this,]] pointing out that even they fell for Belos' lies and have no right blaming Luz for enabling Belos' rise to power when they also had a hand in falling for his lies and keeping him in power.
* Jossed. Same as above.

[[WMG: The Collector will be given a chance to make a HeelFaceTurn, only for it to go horribly wrong]]
Like with Amity, Lilith and Hunter, Luz will try to offer the Collector a chance to learn how to make friends without causing so much chaos and destruction. Unlike those three however, the Collector will believe that Luz is saying he shouldn't have friends and have a SuicidalCosmicTemperTantrum that will threaten to destroy the entire Demon Realm and perhaps Earth as well. [[IfICantHaveYou If he can't be allowed to have friends, then no one else should.]]
-->'''Hunter:''' Way to go Luz, your kindness is going to kill us all!
-->'''Luz:''' You know, maybe I shouldn't have taken advice from the cartoons that end with the all-powerful godlike being becoming a good guy.
* Alternatively, it'll involve the Collector's "friendship" with King. King will act as a MoralityChain that will slowly start to make the Collector realize that he shouldn't be treating others as his playthings.... but then something will happen to King or the Collector will mistakenly think that King is abandoning him in favor of Luz and the others, causing the aforementioned SuicidalCosmicTemperTantrum.
* Jossed. Luz, Eda, and King successfully try TalkingTheMonsterToDeath.

[[WMG: King won't be the one to kill the Collector, if the latter does actually die...]]
Consider the possibility of an ''WesternAnimation/InfinityTrain'' being pulled: since it seems how the Collector is probably entirely made out of magic, and how Basilisks drain magic, you can probably [[ImMelting put two]] [[ReducedToDust and two together...]]
* The basilisk (Vee) will maybe "choke" on that much magic and start to explode like the ghom (the lethal and scary cockroach-dogs) that [[spoiler:sucked Simon Laurent's soul]], but will be saved either by one of the witches, the Boiling Isles titan or his [[spoiler:(possible) son King]].
* The Collector doesn't die at all.

[[WMG: What Luz's friends will learn in the human realm]]
Season 2 ended with Luz, Amity, Willow, and Gus at Luz' mom's door. Chances are that, like in ''WesternAnimation/{{Amphibia}}'', we will see what TheProtagonist's friends from the other world will get up to. Of course, we'll see them discover technology and social media, and Luz being a teenage girl, will give them some very [=WRONG=] facts about what life on Earth is like.

If one of them decides to do a little tinkering with technology, they will try combining it with a little Boiling Isles magic. From there, it will either blow up in their face, or that [=BI=] inhabitant will end up creating {{Magitek}}, which they may bring back to the Isles, and be hailed for creating a whole new field once all of the stuff with Belos and the Collector are resolved.

One of them will end up discovering Earth's info on demonology. Perhaps one of them will find an Ars Goetia book... and treat it like the most hilarious joke they've ever see, laughing at every demon they read about on the grounds that they're all too ridiculous and outlandish to be actual demons.
->'''Gus:''' (laughing) What self-respecting demon would go around with the name "Paimon"?!

This can also be PlayedForDrama, as it will show the Boiling Isles inhabitants that humans have views on demons that, on the Boiling Isles, would get someone ostracized for being [[FantasticRacism a massive, uninformed bigot]]. Luz's friends would probably feel greatly hurt that humans would think such things about their kind, and that's without even learning about the Salem Witch Trials. If they learned about [=THAT=], maybe it would give them some insight into Belos' mind and show them why he tried to wipe out all life on the Boiling Isles.

[[WMG: Belos will return and be made to answer for what he tried to do to the people of the Boiling Isles]]
As cathartic as it may have been to see him [[spoiler:get turned into goo by The Collector]], what would [=REALLY=] make it cathartic is if Belos is returned to human form and brought back to the Boiling Isles... so he can be confronted by its angry residents, who are furious that the person in whom they put all of their trust, and who dictated their society for so long, tried to kill everyone. Belos will probably try to defend himself by stating that he was doing a rightous deed, and that they're all inherently evil by [[FantasticRacism dint of what they are]]. Of course, the people of the Boiling Isles will not be happy that he views them as a bunch of irredeemably evil monsters for such reasons, and will take him away to make him face the consequences off his actions.
* Jossed. Belos stays in his goop form and is partially melted by boiling rain before Eda, King, and Raine finish him off by stomping him to death.

* I honestly don't see this happening, because Belos would rather kill himself than be captured and put on trial by witches. There's no cathartic moment since Belos will die believing himself to be a martyr for humanity. As long as he sees them as monsters, there is nothing the inhabitants of the Boiling Isles could do to make him go through a VillainousBreakdown. What would cause him to suffer a mental breakdown is being judged by modern humans, the very race he adores and prides himself to be a part of.
* Alternatively, The Collector may decide to include Earth in the game of Owl House, thus endangering two worlds. After his defeat and the restoration of Earth and The Boiling Isles, the people of the two worlds will decide to meet, in the event that plenty of doorways between the two worlds will have been left open in the aftermath of the "game". At this point, a restored Belos will then intervene, trying to convince the humans not to approach the Boiling Isles residents because they're witches and demons. He'll say they'll try to corrupt their souls and do horrible things to them, and then get ousted by Luz and co. for the fact he tried to kill everyone. Belos will admit to this, expecting to be congratulated for his righteousness, and, to his shock, will be seen by humanity as a genocidal bigot for it. He'll try to defend himself, trying to remind everyone that the denizens of the Boiling Isles needed to be killed [[FantasticRacism because of what they are]], and what he's convinced they would have done if they ever came in contact with humanity. This will just further sour the humans' view of him as a monster, and he'll be promptly arrested by human police for his crimes, and have to watch the humans start mingling with those he tried to kill. Perhaps his final scenes will be him standing trial before humans, witches, and demons, and be sent to prison, where he has to watch the people of the Boiling Isles happily interacting with humanity.
** Jossed.

[[WMG: The FinalBattle against the Collector will be a game]]
It's quite obvious, since the Collector is too powerful to be beaten, Luz will have to make a bargain with the Collector to play whatever games he decides in order to win back the Isles.

[[WMG: Belos will be [[KarmicDeath petrified.]]]]
Belos will try to petrify Luz and the others, only to have his spell somehow reflected back onto himself, causing him to suffer the same fate he inflicted on so many witches. Bonus points if it happens in front of his statue in Gravesfield.

* Can Belos even use his magic? Never mind the issues that might come with his current form, it's implied that his power still comes from something on the Boiling Isles, whether it is glyphs, [[spoiler:like the ones carved onto his arm]], the systems that he used to create the artificial magic that powered his staves, or Palismen, none of which exist in usable form in the human realms (the glyphs are the exception, but they're equally unusable in the human realm, even if he can draw them).
* It's possible that he could find a way to restore his powers, perhaps by finding some lost magic around Gravesfield (like the training wand that was in Jacob Hopkins' possession for example). Or by draining it from one of the witches--he did study the basilisks. Maybe he learned how to drain magic like they did.
* Jossed. He is ripped out of the Titan's heart, and then melted by boiling rain before being finished off by being stomped on by Eda, King, and Raine.

[[WMG: The Wittebane Statues in Gravesfield will be destroyed by none other than Belos himself]]
Some fans wonder what would be the fate of the Wittebane Statues after the truth about Philip is revealed. Many advocated for the statue of Philip to be destroyed, but it would be difficult to justify removing Philip without exposing the whole town to the truth of the Demon Realm, risking dangers of future witch hunters like Jacob Hopkins to pursue their own plans of genocide. At the same time, leaving the Wittebane Statues intact wouldn't feel right given the truth. So how does one get rid of the statues?

You have Belos do it himself. And he has the right motivation to do so depending on his circumstances. If he can no longer transform back into a human and remains stuck as a monster, he would see the statue as a mocking taunt of what he lost over the centuries: His brother and his humanity. The fact the statues portray the brothers as noble and heroic would further aggravate Belos by showing things could have turned out differently if he had made different choices. Enraged by this unintentional mockery from the statues, Belos ends up destroying the statues not too dissimilar to how he clawed Caleb's eyes in his memory portraits, symbollically showing that Belos is ultimately his own worst enemy.

[[folder:Discussion]]
* On the other hand, Belos also sees himself as a hero of humanity, for attempting to eradicate all witches. He would only be pleasantly surprised by the presence of the statue of him, and possibly assume that word of his exploits in the Demon Realm has spread and made him famous. He may, however, destroy the state of Caleb, seeing him as a traitor (for falling for a witch) unworthy of that fame.
[[/folder]]
* Jossed. The statues appear for a brief scene and in a picture, but are not affected in any way.

[[WMG: Belos' discovery of how the human realm has changed will be a reversal of the "Hollow Mind" situation.]]
Belos' plans for the Day of Unity and the reveal of his true identity ended up horrifying and emotionally breaking both Luz and Hunter, with him taking the time to twist the proverbial knife once they knew the truth about him. If he were to discover just how the people in Gravesfield and people in general have changed from the witch-hunting era he once knew, he'd be horrified by how they have apparently become ignorant and dismissive of the idea of witches and threat of demons. Even if he were to prove the existence of witches, they would decry him as the monster he is.
Once Luz were to see his horror at how the human realm has changed, she would call him out for his blindness in thinking people would share his point of view as the [[VillainousBsod realization causes him to breakdown]], having her turn to twist the knife.
-->'''Luz''': Did you really think that humans were going to see things your way? Was I not enough to show you how humans have changed? Face it! YOU. ARE. ALONE!
* Jossed. Belos has no apparent revelation that views have changed and continues on with his plot.

[[WMG: Opening Titles Changes]]
* Luz flying on Owlbert with Eda will be replaced with her flying on Ghost with Amity.
* The Collector's part of the opening titles will be a call back to King's part in the season one opening titles, with him holding onto King like a plushie.
* Judging by "Thanks To Them", it seems the Season 3 specials don't ''have'' opening titles in the sense that the first two seasons did, beyond montages.

[[WMG:Luz will come across her dad's grave.]]
Judging by the gravestones on the first special's poster.
* Jossed.

[[WMG: The first episode of season 3 will take place entirely in the human realm, the second episode will take place entirely in the demon realm, and the third will tie the two plots together.]]
* The first two episodes will pick up where King's Tide left off, from alternate perspectives. Some time will pass during both episodes as evidenced by Luz and Amity's longer hair on the season 3 poster.
** The first episode indeed took place only in the Human Realm.

[[WMG: Hunter will cut his hair himself.]]
* Hunter notably has a different, shorter hairstyle on the season 3 poster. Perhaps he will be haunted by the fact that he looks so much like Caleb Wittebane, so he gives himself a haircut so at least he can choose one aspect of his appearance instead of looking how Belos wants him to look.
** He tried to, but then Willow lend him a hand.

[[WMG: Instead of the first ''letter'' of the episode titles, the first ''word'' of season 3's episode titles will create a message.]]
* The first episode is confirmed to be called "Thanks to Them", and the remaining episodes will begin with "for" and "watching", leaving the message "thanks for watching".
** As of "For the Future", this seems to be accurate
** Confirmed. The words spell out "Thanks For Watching".

[[WMG: In a DistantFinale, the final scene will reveal that the story is being told by Luz and Amity to their daughter, who naturally would be named Azura.]]
* A cute way to end the show, and provide a definitive ending.
* Jossed. Though there is a TimeSkip, its to Luz's 18 birthday. Too young for them to have kids yet.

[[WMG:[[OhCrap Oh titans...]] The [[HeroicSacrifice potential fate]] for Luz is scary.]]
* There's been a very suspicious pattern between Season 1 and 2 that involves our resident quirky human's FoundFamily members performing a HeroicSacrifice... First one up is Eda Clawthorne in "Agony Of A Witch" who succumbed to her curse in order to save Luz [[NeverLiveItDown (dammit Lilith I love you but this? really?)]], though she does get better thanks to Lilith sharing the curse. King Clawthorne in "King's Tide"? Until October 15th (now January 23st as of typing) comes by, for all I know The Collector may have either killed King for breaking the pinky promise or [[AFateWorseThanDeath worse, force him to stay as his playmate.]] Next up is the aforementioned quirky human which is the one and only Luz Noceda, and taking into account that [[ItsAllMyFault she has a very huge track record when it comes to blaming herself]], which didn't help it at all when she found out her involvement in Belos' rise to power in "Hollow Mind" [[MyGodWhatHaveIDone (to be fair? her reaction on that was VERY understandable.)]], so right now, right here the implications for Luz's character is not going to be pretty and I do NOT mean it in a bad way. The very last special title is titled "Watching & Dreaming" which is NOT helping the possibility of Luz doing a sacrifice play. [[WesternAnimation/{{Amphibia}} The Funny Frog Show]] has done this exact same pattern before, only with one out of three of the girls ending up '''actually dying'''. Please don't even think about it, Luz.
** After seeing her rant during "Thanks To Them" in the classroom, '''this has only increased my fears.'''
** 4/9/2023: She did [[HeroicSacrifice]] kick the bucket when saving Collector, but also CameBackStrong with a sick new titan form. Wow, I've gotten too traumatized by True Colors.

[[WMG:This season will be a TitleOnlyOpening instead of the theme song]]
* That way they can use more of their very limited time to wrap up the story.
** So far mostly confirmed. "Thanks to Them" does play a version of the theme song during the TimePassesMontage, but there is no full opening sequence. The title simply appears at the end of the montage. Similarly, "For the Future" has the title appear at the end of the first scene without a theme song.

[[WMG:Boscha is going to walk away from the show as a KarmaHoudini]]
* Even though Boscha suffers misfortunes, like when Luz accidentally blinded her at one point, Boscha still gets away with her misdeeds. Heck, she never learns from when she almost endangered the lives of Amity's (her former friend) new friends. The fact that she was last seen in "Labyrinth Runners" shows that Boscha is more likely to be a KarmaHoudini.
** The only punishment Boscha shall get for her bullying is being DemotedToExtra and no longer being relevant to Luz, Willow and especially Amity ever again.
** Alternatively, and more humorously, she will be greatly humbled by the Collector turning the Boiling Isles upside-down, and there will be a scene where she tearfully bawls "IWantMyMommy Both of them!"
** {{Jossed}} as of "For the Future", as Boscha pulls a HeelFaceTurn after Amity makes clear she can't be the friend Boscha wants her to be, and that while she claims she just wants freedom to do what she likes again, it's clear Boscha is slowly changing for the better because of it.

[[WMG:"Thanks to Them" will end with Luz both physically and emotionally exhausted]]
Especially if her friends find out that she unwittingly helped Philip.

[[WMG:Hunter's forelock will be a RuleOfSymbolism]]
* When Hunter cuts his hair, removing his characteristic forelock, it symbolizes his rejection of Caleb and his shame at being a clone of someone he assumes that was a witch hunter.
* After discovering the truth about Caleb, Hunter will allow his hair to grow, even his forelock, symbolizing his acceptance of Caleb as a part of him, or a tribute to someone who turned out to be a good person who truly loved the Boiling Isles.

[[WMG:Belos will be the one to reveal to the others that Luz helped him in the past in a KickTheDog moment.]]
As a parallel to WesternAnimation/{{Amphibia}} and how [[spoiler:Andrias]] "spilled the tea" by revealing how [[spoiler:Andrias]] duped [[spoiler:Marcy]] into helping [[spoiler:him]].
* [[spoiler: '''Confirmed''']]

[[WMG: The parallely between Caleb and the Titan will be revealed.]]
Both died protecting their unborn children.
* King was still inside the egg when his father lost his life in the battle against the Collector.
* Caleb fought his own brother to protect his pregnant wife.

[[WMG:The Collector's backstory will have [[WeUsedToBeFriends remarkably similar themes]] to Philip's.]]
A long time ago, the Collector and King's father used to be the best of friends and played all sorts of games together, but when the latter figuratively and literally grew up with the intention of settling down and starting a family, the Collector didn't like it one bit and figured that [[IfICantHaveYou if he couldn't be his friend anymore]], then ''nobody'' could, eventually leading to the near-mass extinction of the Titan race and King's father being forced to seal his old friend away at the cost of his own life.

[[WMG: In Gravesfield Cemetery, there are graves with the names of Caleb and Philip Wittebane]]
The people of his town made them after giving them up for dead.
* Jossed.

[[WMG: Jacob Hopkins is a distant descendant of the Wittebane Family]]
* Jossed. Caleb and Philip were orphans when they arrived in Gravesfield, and neither left any descent in the Human Realm.

[[WMG:Dell Clawthorne's palisman once belonged to Evelyn]]
Dell didn't carve his palisman, but it has been passed down from generation to generation, like a family heirloom. Caleb and his wife carved their palismans like a pair cardinals as a symbol of thier love; since cardinal birds are very affectionate with their partners. Starting the tradition of all Clawthorne family's Palismen being one type of bird.
* Flapjack got lost during the fight between Caleb and Philip and ended up being taken in by the Bat Queen. Or Caleb ordered it to hide from Philip.

[[WMG:The Box the Hexsquad found in the abandoned house belonged to Caleb]]
Continuing the theory that the abandoned house was built by Caleb... After perfecting the portal, he left behind a hint on how to get back to the Boiling Isles in case something happens to the portal. Which explains why Flapjack is pecking at the floor of the house.

[[WMG:Belos will possess (or at least try to) The Collector next.]]
Because why wouldn't a villain like him try to gain '''the ultimate power''' after his previous failure with fusing with Hunter.
* Mostly confirmed. [[spoiler: Belos attempts to possess the Collector in their sleep but they wake up before he can do it, forcing him to stay in Raine's puppet body.]]

[[WMG: Caleb taught Evelyn (Wittewife) to whittle.]]
Caleb is shown to be a skilled whittler, and Evelyn is hinted to be a Clawthorne ancestor. It's also hinted at in "Thanks to Them" that Evelyn is the one who gave Flapjack to Caleb. Perhaps Caleb taught her how to carve, and she in turn is the one who carved him a palisman and gifted it to him to show off her skills and appreciation.

[[WMG:Masha knows that Vee is the Luz they met at camp.]]
Masha seemed to find Vee familiar, they have realised that the Luz they met is Vee. After the credits roll on the episode Vee will tell them everything.

[[WMG: Camila will be the key to defeating The Collector.]]
Considering that [[spoiler: Camila returned with Luz & co. to the Demon Realm]] in "Thanks To Them," she may end up playing an important role. Since The Collector is very childlike in mindset, [[spoiler: they could use a maternal influence to keep them in line while extending compassion and understanding. Hell, Camila right keep the Collector in line with her slipper]]

[[WMG: [[spoiler:Flapjack...]]]]
...lives!
* We saw how [[spoiler:the souls]] of the [[spoiler:palismen Philip consumed]] lived on [[spoiler:in him]]. Since [[spoiler:Flapjack]] gave his live willingly, [[spoiler:his soul]] doesn't become [[spoiler:a curse]] to Hunter, but an [[spoiler:inner companion]] not unlike [[spoiler:Eda's Owl Beast after she made peace with it]]. He may even gain a SuperMode and be able to materialize [[spoiler:Flapjack]] outside of his body as an ally in battle and also just as a friend.
** This might be what [[spoiler:Hunter wearing a Flapjack costume in the opening sequence of "Thanks to Them"]] could symbolize!
** [[spoiler:Flapjack might play a role in Hunter learning the whole story of the Wittebane brothers.]]
* Hunter will procure [[spoiler:a chunk of palistrom wood from the Bat Queen and transfer the soul of Flapjack into it, resurrecting him.]]
** Follow-up theory: [[spoiler:Hunter will carve a miniature wolf as his new palisman, ''unknowingly'' transferring Flapjack's soul into it. Flapjack's gonna have to get used to becoming a little wolf.]]
** Hunter was able to use the Flapjack's power (FlashStep), so this theory may come true to some extent in the next episode.

[[WMG: The Collector will teach King how he can draw from his own inherent Titan magic to perform spells.]]
Obviously nothing King could use to trap the Collector the way his father did. But helping King to learn to do magic, at least from the Collector's perspective, would be greatly beneficial towards their ability to play more kinds of games together. And of course, this same lesson would benefit King long term as well, and he may enroll as a Hexside student after life in the Demon Realm has settled back down.

[[WMG: Philip's murder of Caleb was an AccidentalMurder.]]
Given that he believes that Luz is simply brainwashed by the witches instead of truly a traitor, that he can't stand reliving the memory of his brother's death and the birth of the first Grimwalker, that he can't comprehend human treachery [[note]]falling for Luz's tricks twice; is shocked by "Caleb" supposedly backstabbing him[[/note]], and that his entire point of his journey to the Demon Realm was to ''save'' his brother, it's seems unlikely he would target his brother first for eloping with a witch.
Rather, he was gunning for the witch Evelyn the whole time. She wasn't facing Philip when Philip had the knife behind his back in the memory portrait, so Philip would be in the perfect position to kill Eveyln and supposedly free Caleb from a bewitchment spell. The assassination attempt failed thanks to Caleb's intervention, resulting in a BattleAmongstTheFlames where Philip tried to kill Evelyn while Caleb defended his spouse and reluctantly fought his brother. Philip nearly managed to stab Evelyn, but [[TakingTheBullet Caleb got in the way at the last minute]]. After stabbing his brother and then being chased out by an enraged Evelyn, [[MyGodWhatHaveIDone Philip realized he had murdered the only family he had]] and rendered his whole rescue mission pointless. Rather than let the immense guilt break him, Philip, much like [[WesternAnimation/{{Gargoyles}} Demona]], [[NeverMyFault instead blamed his brother's death on Evelyn (and later all witches)]] and began rationalizing his murder as necessary or something that can be fixed later with his Grimwalker project.
* A memory portrait depicts Philip looking directly at the right side rather than facing his brother during the knife fight.

[[WMG:Belos's worst memory will be the key to permanently stopping him.]]
Though many would want their favorite to beat up Belos, from Darius to Camila to Hunter to the Clawthrone sisters and so forth, it's highly unlikely they could stop a determinator like Belos, who managed to survive being splatted into a puddle by the Collector. He will find a way to keep on living and threaten the Boiling Isles forever. It's as Masha said in her Wittebane tale ending, Philip will continue chasing his brother forever in a cycle of horror and strife no matter what.
But as "King's Tide" and "Thanks to Them" revealed, there is a certain subject that Belos always avoids: That he murdered his brother. He cannot stand reliving that memory when Gus subjects him to it, he becomes livid when Hunter "[stabbed him] in the back" and he avoids answering Luz's ArmorPiercingResponse about him stabbing Caleb first. What Belos told the Collector in "Hollow Mind" is technically true: It does hurt him every time a version of Caleb turns against him. But that's why he had them wearing masks when he kills them and why he names them with a professional term Hunter. It makes them easier for Belos to kill.
Thus forcing Belos to relive his memories and adding massive emphasis that HE, not the witches, is the reason why his beloved brother is dead, that he has no one to blame but himself... That may stop him. Whether it be a VillainousBreakdown or a VillainousBSOD, Belos will lose his will to persist, giving the heroes a chance to finally end him.
* Jossed. His memories end up playing no part in his defeat.

[[WMG: Darius will be [[PapaWolf furious]] [[spoiler:when he sees Hunter's new scars.]]]]
As much as to say bluntly that he will ''kill'' Belos.
* Jossed. Belos is dead by the time Darius meets Hunter and he is instead admiring his wolf shirt.

[[WMG: The Collector's parents will show up to take him home]]
With the Star Trek shoutouts from Thanks to Them and the collector being reminiscent of a very young Q or Trelane (which might even be the same species). Maybe their parents let them out to play, and will finally come to collect them. Maybe even with a boon for "babysitting".
* I say if the collector did have parents, they may be deitys related to the sun and moon.
* Jossed. If the Collector has parents, they go unmentioned and make no appearance.

[[WMG: Belos’ monster form will allow Belos to do magic without the use of glyphs or his staff.]]
Given that Belos’ monster form is made from Palisman souls, and that Palisman contain magic within them, it wouldn’t be surprising if this allowed him to do spells organically. While Belos didn’t use magic in his monster form as of now, it is possible that he didn’t have complete control of his new body yet and didn’t know all his new capabilities.

[[WMG: Masha is a secret witch...]]
...and to keep magic under wraps, they stole all of Jacob's material and strongarmed him into giving up his position at the historical society to them. They recognized the witches and told them about what they knew, so Luz and her witch allies could go back to the Boiling Isles.

[[WMG: The portal opens to Eclipse Lake]]
In his diary, Philip mentions that portals to the human realm were created when Titan's blood got into the water, and states that his he arrived before deciding he will go ''back'' to Eclipse Lake. While he is known to be completely false in his diary, and therefore no entries can be fully trusted, there is a likelihood that he did not arrive through the portal door. Therefore, the only other known portal to the Demon Realm that Philip could know of is the one in the graveyard, which could connect to Eclipse Lake. And therefore, the Hexsquad may be exit the portal there.
However, due to The Collector's reality warping in "King's Tide", there is a definite possibility that it may not resemble Eclipse Lake. Conversely, the portal may also open to someplace completely different.
* Jossed.

[[WMG: The Collector will [[RedemptionEqualsDeath sacrifice himself]] to obliterate Belos once and for all.]]
And as he [[TakingYouWithMe takes Belos along with him]], he'd be [[GoOutWithASmile smiling the whole time]], finally understanding the true meaning of friendship for the sake of King and all his other buddies.

[[WMG: There will be more than one [[TheBigDamnKiss Big Kiss]]]]
* Luz and Amity.
* Willow and Hunter.
* Eda and Raine.
* Darius and Alador.
* Caleb and Evelyn.
* Vee and Masha.
* Hooty will try and no one will want to volunteer...except Lilith, who will give him a peck on the cheek.

[[WMG: Evelyn and by extension Caleb will be revealed to be ancestors to the Clawthornes.]]
Evelyn appeared pregnant in the portraits in Belos' mindscape and her spiky red hair, torn dress fashion, and yellow-colored magic hint that she may in fact be Eda's (and, by extension, also Lilith's) ancestor. Adding to this is the Clawthorne family's long legacy of being Palismen carvers and the fact that Eda's father, Dell, has a yellow cardinal Palisman that looks identical to Flapjack. Even her name sounds similar to Eda's. In the presentation about the Wittebane brothers, her hand is drawn similarly to Eda's, with long gold nails and fire.
* It's so obvious, it would be surprising for it to not happen. I'm personally betting that Evelyn is Gwendolyn's great-grandmother.
** There's about 400 years too much time for that to happen. Ancestor is more accurate.

[[WMG: Belos will turn against humanity.]]
Because it’s very likely that Belos saw that humanity has now accepted witchcraft, it’s not unlikely to that he may see humans as an enemy to him. And once he gains enough power, he will not only be able to eliminate all of witch kind, but also, would want to take over the human realm. Meaning that he no may no longer care for humanity anymore. Of course, [[SurprisinglyRealisticOutcome this could lead to him being gunned down and killed by a police or military force in Connecticut]] [[note]]While Belos might be a powerful being on the Boiling Isles, and strong enough to handle teenagers, a modern army with firepower would give him more of a challenge[[/note]]. Which would be both [[KarmicDeath karmic]] and [[DeathByIrony ironic]].
* Belos, despite hating magic, would become the very magical threat he claimed to oppose. The Connecticut authorities would treat him the way he treated the denizens of the Boiling Isles: as a threat to be stopped.
* Considering that Belos states he intends to finish his work as a witch hunter and then states he's doing it for the good of humanity's souls, it's doubtful he'll turn against humanity anytime soon. Plus, Old Gravesfield did celebrate the town's witch hunting past along with witches of Halloween, so it has to be very contrived for Belos to suddenly think the whole town genuinely accepts real witchcraft.

[[WMG: Luz will meet [[OurGhostsAreDifferent Caleb]] and both will help each other]]
* Caleb will help Luz understand that things were out of her control, and that she shouldn't punish herself for the actions and decisions of others.
* As for Caleb, while he regrets the man Philip became under his care, his [[AfterlifeAngst greatest regret]] is that he couldn't be there for his and Evelyn's child... and he's tormented by not knowing if he would have been a good father. Luz will point out that he is a good person who did everything he could to take care of his little brother.
-->'''Luz:''' Well... I think you would have been a very good ''papá''.
* Jossed. Luz never encounters Caleb or his ghost.

[[WMG: As Belos loses his grip on his humanity, he will not only give a cruel nod to the previous Witch Hunters’ deaths, but also, speak of how humanity will fall because of their incompetence to defeat evil.]]
Belos has proven himself to be liar to witchkind and a murderer of his own brother. And he not only abuses Hunter, but also, taunts Luz for indirectly helping him just to cause her more grief. Although Belos is already a big HateSink, it is likely that he will go the extra mile by mocking the past Witch Hunters’ deaths, speaking of how they failed where he will succeed. Which will imply he doesn’t even care about protecting humanity anymore, but only kill witches for fun.
-->'''Luz:''' Is this what humanity will want now?
-->'''Belos:''' Humanity is weak! And because of that, they nearly fell. Just as the past Witch Hunters have fallen!
* Although, this possible conversation could be something like this:
-->'''Luz:''' I’ve “helped” you, Philip. So you wouldn’t do this to me. Someone of your own kind.
-->'''Belos:''' I have no kind.
-->(Luz gasps in horror, realizing that Philip/Belos not only longer cares for her anymore, but also, no longer cares for humanity anymore either.)
* Jossed. Belos makes no reference to the prior witch hunters.

[[WMG: The Coven Heads who were loyal to Belos, [[MyFriendsAndZoidberg and Odalia Blight]], will join the C.A.T.s against Belos ''and'' the Collector!]]
* Given they all experienced Belos' treachery first hand, and the power of the Collector, they join Rayne and Darius' group if only out of self-interest.
* Jossed. The coven heads are all turned into puppets by the Collector along with most of the isles and Odalia becomes a maid to the Collector.

[[WMG: Belos will hunt down the Bat Queen and her colony of Palismen.]]
Desiring revenge against the Collector for what they did to him, Belos will seek out the gathering of ownerless Palismen (who may very well be out in the open due to the Collector's reshaping of the Boiling Isles), in hopes that absorbing all of their magic will grant him the power he needs.
* Jossed. He is focused on destroying the isles.

[[WMG: The reveal that Belos is effectively related to the Clawthornes will turn out to be incredibly awkward]]
Perhaps Eda, Lilith, or their parents casually namedrops Evelyn and, once Luz puts two and two together, the result will be everyone realizing that Eda and Lilith, both containing a very small trace of human DNA, were nearly killed by their great-granduncle-in-law and that Lilith had a rivalry with her first cousin once removed.
->'''King:''' Sheesh, and I thought my family reunion was awkward.

[[WMG: Belos will die seeing visions of his brother]]
Belos hallucinates Caleb holding out his hand and saying "Let's go home, Philip" like how [[spoiler:Samekichi does to Sal]] in Chapter 8 of ''VideoGame/{{Wadanohara}} and the Great Blue Sea: Sea of Death Arc''. He finds it too much to bear and it kills him the way how [[spoiler:the homunculus Envy]] in ''Manga/FullmetalAlchemist'' and [[spoiler:Hyakunosuke Ogata]] in ''Manga/GoldenKamuy'' end.
* Jossed. He dies pleading with Luz trying to guilt trip and manipulate her into saving his life, but is stomped to death by Eda, King, and Raine.

[[WMG: [[ShipperOnDeck Gus ships Willow and Hunter]]]]
...but he'll cover it up by talking about ''Cosmic Frontier''´s characters.
-->'''Gus:''' You know... I think Chief O'Bailey and the botanist would be a good couple.

[[WMG: If Luz tries to talk some sense into Belos, Belos will SpeakIllOfTheDead and likely push Luz’s RelativeButton.]]
Given that Luz tells Hunter that he’s family, who knows what she told him about his life. And it’s not impossible that while possessing Hunter, Belos will see a memory of Luz talking to Hunter about her dead father. Not to mention all that he saw many human gravestones in the graveyard. So it is possible Belos has fallen so hard, that he might not only mock Caleb’s death, but it’s possible that he will mock past humans’ deaths, including the past Witch Hunters’ deaths and Luz’s dad’s death to Luz’s face. This will obviously enrage Luz into wanting to kill Belos.
-->'''Luz:''' You’re a monster, Philip! Your hatred has consumed you, to the point that you’ve killed your own brother! Caleb wanted you to be good. He may have loved Evelyn, but he still cared for you, no matter what.
-->'''Belos:''' And that was his weakness. Your willingness to help others is your main weakness.
-->'''Luz:''' No. It’s what makes me a good person! And I did do something good! I gave my friends better lives!
-->'''Belos:''' In Hunter’s body, I have seen everything he has seen. And everything you’ve told him about your life. I know all of your weaknesses now. And now I have realized that it’s fitting that Hunter will die. And join Caleb in death! It is fitting that the Clawthornes die. And join Caleb’s parents in death! It is fitting that your mother will die. And join Evelyn in death! It is fitting that witchkind will die. And join humans in death! And for your friends, it is fitting that they will die too! And join the witch hunters in death! And for you, it is fitting that you will die. And join your father in death!
-->(Luz gasps, and then all her shock turns to anger as she furiously attacks Belos for insulting her dead father.)
* Jossed. Belos makes no remark about this and very likely did not know of her deceased father.

[[WMG: Caleb was [[SecretlyDying dying]]]]
Caleb neglected himself to make sure Philip could eat. When they arrived at Gravesfield, Caleb's health only worsened due to the guilt he felt about becoming a witch hunter. Caleb did his best to hide his [[IncurableCoughOfDeath condition]] from his brother, as he didn't want Philip to feel guilty. One day, Caleb decided to run away to the forest so that his brother would not see him die, that was when he met Evelyn for the first time. Seeing him, the witch used a potion to restore his health. An act of kindness that convinced Caleb that what was believed about witches was wrong.

[[WMG: Belos/Philip will be revealed to be a TragicVillain]]
* Jossed. The Titan essentially states that he is a man who has deluded himself into believing he must be the hero.

[[WMG: Caleb unintentionally started the [[TheChainOfHarm cycle of abuse]]]]
Considering their status as orphans growing up in a town that didn't readily accept them, as a child Caleb would sometimes take out his frustrations onto his younger brother, but while the former eventually grew out of his dark behavior, Philip just wound up slowly getting more corrupted by the world around him.

[[WMG: The Bat Queen used to be friends with Caleb]]
Hexsquad will encounter the Bat Queen and upon seeing Hunter she will mistake him for Caleb. With the misunderstanding cleared up, she will tell them the rest of the Wittebane brothers' story. Revealing that Caleb was a good friend of hers and had even started the Clawthorne family's craft of carving Palismans.
* Some of the Palismans she cares for could have been carved by Caleb.

[[WMG: A flashback featuring Evelyn will have her voiced by Jennifer Jiles]]
To further increase the connections between her and the Clawthornes, since it was rumored Jiles was going to voice Eda before we got Creator/WendieMalick.

[[WMG: "For the Future" will begin with a series of flashbacks of the Wittebane brothers' past]]
Among which will include crucial moments such as:
* The brothers arriving at Gravesfield.
* Caleb and Philip meeting Evelyn.
* Caleb and Evelyn escaping to the Demon Realm, with Philip following them.
* Philip spying on Caleb and Evelyn, who is noticeably pregnant.
* Caleb and Evelyn building the Portal.
* Philip and Caleb's final fight, followed by Evelyn crying over Caleb's dead body. Perhaps the flashbacks end here, with a MatchCut transitioning from the flames surrounding them to whatever destruction is currently happening on the Boiling Isles.
** Jossed. None of the flashbacks listed above occur. The only flashback goes back to after the Collector breaks apart the skull on the Day of Unity, revealing his rampage.

[[WMG: The reason Belos was studying Basilisks]]
It was a fail safe against The Collector. Knowing of Basilisks magic draining abilities, he captured and studied many of them to develop a means of keeping The Collector in control, should they somehow be freed. For while The Collectors magic may be much more powerful than most, it’s still ultimately magic. While the means may not be currently known, Belos succeeded in creating a way to steal The Collectors power, so now he’s headed back to Boiling Isles to use it against them, and steal all of their power for himself.

[[WMG: Hexsquad will explore the Emperor's Castle]]
The Hexsquad will look for a way to defeat the Collector, and knowing that Philip investigated everything about them, they will come to the conclusion that he may have hidden that information in the Castle.
* The group will discover a huge secret registry, where Belos hid all the knowledge he has gathered over the centuries and of which he has been depriving the population of the Boiling Isles.
* Hunter will experience a repressed memory from when he was created by Belos.

[[WMG: Darius will refer to Willow as Hunter's "girlfriend"]]
Possible scenarios:
* Seeing the chemistry between Hunter and Willow, she will assume that they became a couple while in the Human Realm.
* Darius will realize that Hunter has a crush on Willow and seeing that he hasn't confessed yet, Darius will try to give him a push... Besides he'll be amused to see the boy so nervous about talking to the girl he likes. He will even refer to her as Hunter's "girlfriend" to tease him a bit.
* Jossed. He doesn't speak a word in season 3.

[[WMG: Luz will almost die in the finale, but will get a HeroicSecondWind after some encouragement from Manny's spirit.]]
* Jossed. She actually dies but gets encouragement from the Titan instead of Manny.

[[WMG:Hexsquad will enter Hunter's mind]]
The Collector destroyed the Emperor's Castle while them shaped the Boiling Isles to thier whim. Therefore, any possible information to defeat them has been lost...unless, the Hexsquad can find a memory of Hunter in which he unknowingly read information about The Collector during one of his long study sessions.
* During their search, they will see a memory in which Belos punched Hunter in the face as punishment. The origin of his scar on his right cheek.
* Flapjack will manifest to help them, confirming that he is still alive in Hunter's mind, but unlike the Palismens in Belos' mind, Flapjack isn´t suffering.
* The Hexsquad will discover a gallery made up of Caleb's memories. Similar to how Belos's mind had two galleries, one made up of lies and the other of her true memories, Hunter's mind has a hidden gallery made up of the memories of the original person he was cloned from. Maybe they could even meet an "Inner Caleb".
** In "Hollow Mind", Luz had already raised the question of whether it was possible for there to be "two Inners" in one mind.
* Jossed. No such thing happens.

[[WMG: How is the pregnancy of witches...]]
While a witch is pregnant, her magic weakens, due to her bile sac occupying half of her magic to help form the baby's bile sac.
* That's why Philip tried to attack Evelyn while she was pregnant and Caleb intervened to defend her.

[[WMG: Belos will possess the Titan.]]
Since King's father was able to imprison the Collector and seems to be the only one capable of doing anything at all to him, Belos will possess his inert body and try to use it to kill the Collector along with all the witches in one fell swoop.
* Belos will also use the Titan's portal-making ability to return to Earth to rejuvenate his new body. And [[VideoGame/DoomEternal The longer the Belos-Titan is on Earth,]] [[MemeticMutation the stronger it will become]].
* Confirmed. He possesses the Titan to try to destroy the isles.

[[WMG: Belos will try to manipulate The Collector into destroying Earth]]
Belos has likely seen enough of Earth to see it's a WretchedHive by the standards of his Puritan culture, and might think of his Crusade against witches as AllForNothing. So instead he decides to kill everyone and let God sort them out by inviting The Collector to come over to Earth and use humanity as playthings, an act that will likely lead to billions of deaths in the long-term, in which The Elect will be sorted out and sent to Heaven (thus "saving their souls") and literally damn everyone else.
* Unlikely. Belos blames everything on the witches. As long as the witches still exist, he could rationalize humanity's corruption as still being proof that witches are alive and thus his work isn't done. It's why he never once took a hint that Luz's love for the Boiling Isles is genuine, and thinks that destroying witchkind would free Luz's soul from corruption. If Belos is to manipulate the Collector into destroying something, it would be the Boiling Isles themselves.
* If Belos did plot to destroy Earth, he'd only do it as a complete KickTheDog moment [[EvilIsPetty out of pure spite towards Luz]]. He wouldn't even care about humanity's safety at this point, he just wants to make Luz suffer.
* Jossed. Belos instead tries to manipulate the Collector into offing Luz, Eda, and King, but the Collector is uninterested and he changes his plan to possessing the Titan when the Collector mentions the Titan's power.

[[WMG: The ultimate fate of Belos and the Collector]]
In the end once the dust has settled, the Collector will decide with a pinky swear to leave the Boiling Isles alone and restore everything to normal if they get a new playmate in return. Luz looks like [[HeroicSacrifice she's about to offer herself]], only to pull a BaitAndSwitch and condemn a miraculously still alive Belos to the mother of all {{Ironic Hell}}s, [[AndIMustScream spending the rest of eternity as a mere toy for the]] GooGooGodlike EldritchAbomination he had lied to for hundreds of years. The last we'll see of the two, the Collector will play a game of witch hunt with Belos, [[VillainousBreakdown vowing revenge and his sanity completely broken]], [[LaserGuidedKarma as the witch.]]
* Jossed. Belos dies and the Collector goes [[WalkingTheEarth traveling the stars.]]

[[WMG: Belos will try to steal the Collector's power]]
So he can finally have the power to wipe out all witches in one fell swoop. However, this will make him even more of a {{hypocrite}} than he already is, since he, a Puritan, is now trying to play God.
* Confirmed. He tries possessing the Collector in "For the Future", but is unable to do so. He changes his plan to possessing the Titan in "Watching and Dreaming".

[[WMG: The mysterious figure Luz saw in the In-Between Realm is the Titan's soul.]]
The figure was in pain because the Titan's skull is currently broken.
* Confirmed. It is the Titan, but he doesn't appear to be in pain.

[[WMG: Luz will get to make her big Azura "NOW EAT THIS, SUCKA!" speech for [[RuleOfThree a third time]].]]
This time with Stringbean as her staff.
* Confirmed. Though she does it ripping Belos out of the Titan's heart.

[[WMG: The Collector will be [[{{Depower}} depowered]]]]
If Belos does end up possessing the Collector, then the Collector will end up losing all or most of his powers as a side effect of PossessionBurnout once he's freed. This will completely negate any sort of threat the Collector poses and allow him to live the rest of his existece as an ordinary kid.
* Jossed. He still has his powers

[[WMG: The Collector will be BroughtDownToNormal thanks to Belos]]
Belos will succeed in his GrandTheftMe while the Collector's guard is down, presumably after the Collector has made a HeelFaceTurn. King will figure out the method used to seal away the Collector the way his father did, which will turn out to be a spell that only affects a Collector's magic. To avoid being imprisoned again, the Collector will give Belos all of his magic so the magic used to banish Belos to The In Between Realm only affects him while leaving the Collector untouched.
Belos will have gained ultimate power and eternal life, ensuring that he will be isolated in The In Between Realm forever. He spent hundreds of years prolonging his life, and will soon wish that he died centuries ago.
The Collector will deal with being mortal, but since he realizes he won't be alone anymore, he will end up being happier with a short mortal life than he was being a god.
* Jossed. He still has his powers. Also Belos dies.

[[WMG: The logo of the final episode will depict Stringbean.]]
The logo for "Thanks to Them" is dulled out except for the image of Owlbert, which glows. The logo for "For The Future" is given a Collector-style color makeover. The third special's logo may change with the S in House becoming an upside down stylized depiction of Stringbean in staff form shaped to resemble an S, driving home the foreshadowing that the logo had been doing since the beginning.
* Jossed. The logo is still the same for the final episode.

[[WMG: Belos will succeed in possessing The Collector but his unstable mentality will cause him to revert back into Kid Philip]]
Since both the Collector and Kid Philip have the same voice actor, it would make sense that when Belos possesses the Collector, he ends up taking the shape of the masked Kid Philip and, because he can relate to the Collector's loneliness and jealousy towards others over King, his mentality regresses back into a child, ranting of how Caleb left him for the witches and how he intends to make things right by killing all witches of the Boiling Isles.
Luz would realize that Belos has never matured into an adult at all, but soon piece together that Belos has never actually processed grief and guilt from killing Caleb and tricks Belos into recreating the fateful murder of Caleb with his cosmic powers. Forced to relive in his worst memory again, with the emphasis that he killed Caleb, Belos starts to lose control of the Collector's powers as he succumbs to despair, giving Luz the chance to kick him out of the Collector.
* Jossed. He does not possess the Collector, but he tries to.

[[WMG: Luz will have a ShutUpHannibal moment with Belos.]]
At some point during the last battle, Belos will again taunt Luz for unknowingly aiding his rise to power. But this time, Luz will shut him down (perhaps using Stringbean to [[TalkToTheFist silence him]]), declaring that she's done beating herself up over something she ultimately had no control over--and she's certainly not going to let a jerk like Belos lord that over her anymore.

[[WMG: The In-Between Realm damaged Belos' body.]]
Though Belos' transformation into the monster he's become did have some adverse effects on him in the form of the palisman trying to tear him apart from the inside, and cause him to appear less and less human, his body still had a much stronger capability to hold itself together. Before "For the Future", even as a tiny piece of sludge and after ejecting himself from Hunter, he still appeared to be able to hold himself together quite well. But he is visibly melting and falling apart in "For the Future" at a rapid pace, such that he was left on the verge of death, perhaps even worse than at the end of "King's Tide", despite holding himself together much better just several hours ago.
One of the properties of the In-Between Realm is that the liquid substance in it appears to damage or dissolve magic or magical items, as it damaged Luz's witches wool cloak and dissolved the ice glyph she tried to use. What's more, at least Luz had to pass through the realm to return to the Boiling Isles, so its likely Belos had to as well. Because he is made of heavily of magic, or palismen bile, likely even more so than the witches, he probably suffered far more damage than anyone could from being in their, and it is now causing him to fall apart. If he somehow returns there and is trapped there, he likely won't survive, and will be melted into nothingness, like the Wicked Witch of the West.

[[WMG: After [[UnfinishedBusiness Belos dies]], the souls of [[OurGhostsAreDifferent Caleb and the Grimwalkers]] will finally [[AscendToAHigherPlaneOfExistence pass into the afterlife]]]]
* Darius will have a brief reunion with his mentor, before he and the other Grimwalkers soar into the sky becoming orbs of golden light, same as light spells.
* Hunter will finally be able to "meet" Caleb, before Evelyn's soul appears to guide him to the afterlife.
** The couple will kiss after centuries separated, convincing Hunter that [[NiceGuy Caleb]] isn't like Belos.
-->'''Luz:''' Well... I guess he didn't really hate witches.
* Jossed. No such event occurs.

[[WMG: Odalia will be made the Collector's permanant caretaker.]]
After being pacified or talked down, the Collector will insist on still having his "Mama-dalia" around. Odalia will balk at this and refuse to do anything of the sort--until she's informed that it's either that or she spends the rest of her life locked up in a jailcell. The last we'll see of her is as she miserably takes care of the Collector under the close supervision of [=CATTs=] to make sure she's doing a good job.
* Jossed. The Collector leaves and Odalia stays on the isles. It's unknown if she saw any punishment, though it appears that she has been expelled from the family's lives.

[[WMG: Odalia and Alador will divorce.]]
* Confirmed

[[WMG: Odalia’s life will go downhill]]

* After her husband divorces her and her kids block her, Odalia will lose Blight Industries. She lost not only her husband, but her chief engineer, and the workers she cracked the whip on in “Clouds on the Horizons” will no longer want to work for her now that they knew she knew about the Belos’s genocide plot. Her investors will boycott her products, and she will lose money. It would not matter if she is imprisoned for selling goods to a terroristic witch hunter.

[[WMG: The Collector will throw a {{The Reason You Suck Speech}} at King.]]
Knowing that King is going to stop him by using his Titan magic to defat him and then finding out that King has been lying to him about the "owl house" game. They will start yelling at him saying that they used to play together and have fun with each other and talking about how much King likes Luz and Eda more than him.
-->'''King:''' Collector! Look I'm Sorry! It's not even my Fault! I know I love playing games with you right now, but please I didn't even li-
-->'''The Collector:''' (beat) Lie? LIE?! First of all, you try to wipe me out with your stupid magic powers! Second You Only like your dumb friends Luz and Eda instead of me! And Finally, YOU LIED TO ME!! After all those games that we've played so far that you pinky swore me has led me into THIS?! ITS OVER KING!! YOU'RE. A. LIAR!!

[[folder: Discussion]]
* I agree with this theory, I did thought of adding it, still I'll add that later. The Collector will call out his for lying to them, since he's unaware that The Collector was watching him as well as not keeping some of his truth promises.
[[/folder]]

[[WMG: The series will end AndTheAdventureContinues style to keep the door open for a potential future, should [[SendingStuffToSaveTheShow the fan campaign work]].]]
* Confirmed. We see that the lives of the people on the isles progressing four years after Belos' defeat and the Collector's departure.

[[WMG: The series will end with Luz actually becoming a real witch pointy ears, bile sac and all.]]
And with this show being what it is, Luz will also end up with something completely random like say a tail.
* Jossed. She temporarily becomes a Human-Witch-Titan hybrid, but that's it. [[TheMagicGoesAway Also her original glyphs no longer work.]]

[[WMG: {{Distant Finale}}...]]
* The boiling islands will become a democracy.
* Humans and Witches traveling back and forth between both realms.
* A chaotic but happy Lumity wedding.
* The Hexsquad working on Hexside as adults
** Amity as the Principal of Hexside.
** Luz as a multi-track teacher.
** Gus as teacher of Human Culture and maybe ambassador of both realms too.
*** Confirmed.
** Willow as the coach of Flyer Derby team of Hexside.
** Hunter as carpentry teacher, and caretaker of Palismans in collaboration with the Bat Queen.
*** Confirmed. He also seems to be working with Dell and Gwendolyn Clawthorne.
* [[BabiesEverAfter A kid girl Lumity and a kid boy Huntlow]] (or the other way around), playing with their cool family:
** Cool Uncle Gus
** Cool Uncle King
** Cool Abuela Camila
** Cool Raine
** Cool Owl Lady Eda ("Grandma" makes her feel old).
** And Cool Greaunt Lilith.
** Jossed. The finale's TimeSkip is too short for Luz and Amity or any of the Hexsquad to have kids.
* The Collector being adopted by either Camilla or Eda/or Lilith
** Jossed. [[WalkingTheEarth The Collector goes traveling the stars.]]
* A new generation of Titans
* A new generation of Collectors

[[WMG: The "new game" the Collector was talking about will be a dangerous (even by witch standards) game of hide and seek]]
* Jossed. He first traps Luz, Eda, and King in nightmares, before forcing them to play Pac-man, marbles, and Jenga with him.

[[WMG: The Hexsquad and Camila will fall into a Time Pool in an attempt to escape the Collector...]]
...traveling back in time to the Deadwardian Era.
* The Hexsquad will have the opportunity to learn about magic that was banned during the Belos rule. Including a spell that could defeat the Collector, without killing them.
* Hunter will be able to meet Caleb personally.
* Caleb and Evelyn will share their research on The Portal Door. Allowing Luz to build a door that actually works in the future.
* Luz will be tempted to "repair her mistake" finding Philip and sending him back to the human realm. But she will come into conflict realizing that while she would prevent Belos from ruling the Boiling Isles, it would also mean that Hunter will never exist.
** After a talk with Caleb, Luz will have some perspective and accept that although she made a mistake, she also improved the life of Eda, King, her friends and girlfriend. And she will vow to help restore the Boiling Isles after defeating the Collector.
* Jossed. Time pools are never used.

[[WMG: Belos, upon seeing Eda, will snap]]
Her current hairdo now seems to resemble the hairstyle Evelyn had in Philip's memories in "Hollow Mind". With his mind now slipping, he will see the resemblance between her and Evelyn and perhaps even hallucinate Eda as Evelyn, and perform another WrongNameOutburst, and try to kill her in a fit of rage, cursing her for coming back to haunt him. To add to this, Eda may by trying to help Hunter during the encounter, reminding him of how Evelyn took Hunter away from him, making him even more livid and insane.
* [=OP=] here. Jossed. Belos doesn't react specifically to Eda, simply trying to kill her as always.

[[WMG: Luz, Camilla, and their friends will finally [[HeelRealization realize]] that The Collector is misunderstood]]
Since we (the fans), and King are the only ones who feels bad for The Collector of being alone with no friends, the latter will tell Luz, Camilla, and the others that he is a misunderstood being who needs friends.
* Confirmed.

* Confirmed.

* The Clawthorne Family
** Eda
** Lilith

[[WMG: The show will have one final TakeThat towards Disney.]]
It's no secret at this point that Dana and the crew fucking ''despise'' the Mouse House, and since there's only one episode left, they might as well take one final jab. It could be Tinella Nosa handing an anthropomorphic mouse demon to [[https://twitter.com/zach2themax/status/1430645155594326017 her evil doll captors]] as an appeasement, where he will be mentally tortured, physically tortured, any FateWorseThanDeath really that will leave him a sniveling, quivering shell.
* When TheCorruption caused by Belos spread throughout the isles, a mouse could be seen kicking Tinella Nosa out of her hiding spot, which ''may'' be a thinly-veiled metaphor for Disney cutting the series short.

[[WMG: The Collector's new theme will be used in the final special]]
If you see here in the video between 8:25 to 11:07, a new theme presumably a epic cool one is heard, with mass beating music in it, meaning that it'll be used for the final special where The Collector battles Luz, Camilla, and their friends.

[[WMG: The Collector will be defended/protected]]
Because of how The Collector was willing to defend King when Terra insulted him, and since defended him when Lilith and Eda suggested on defeating him, it is highly likely that King or someone else will defend The Collector.
* Confirmed. Luz takes a blast of energy meant for the Collector and dies.

[[WMG: The Collector will understand Luz]]
Despite them showing jealousy of Luz being closer to King, they don't know that like her, they are sad, alone, and are seeking on wanting to have friends.
* Confirmed. Luz tells him about how she, Eda, and King became each others' friends.

[[WMG: Luz will understand The Collector]]
Despite being afraid of The Collector, She doesn't know that they are sad and alone, and are seeking to have as well as make friends.
* Confirmed. Luz tells him about how she, Eda, and King became each others' friends.

[[WMG: The Collector and Luz will understand each other]]
Despite each of them at each other's throats, none of the two do not know that they both have things in common, because of how both are them are sad, lonely, and are seeking to have friends.
* Confirmed. Luz tells him about how she, Eda, and King became each others' friends.

[[WMG: The Collector will have a [[EarnYourHappyEnding Happy Ending]]]]
With it being likely that he'll have a HeelFaceTurn, it is likely that they'll be given a happy ending such as being adopted, having new friends, and someone like Luz, to understand.

[[WMG: Possible Ideas On The Collector's ending]]
With Season 3 coming up, there are some possibilities on what will happen to The Collector besides it being [[HeelFaceTurn redeemed]].
* The Collector [[EarnYourHappyEnding getting adopted and having new friends]]

[[WMG: The Wailing Star will return...]]
The Hexsquad will discover a book that will turn out to be Caleb Wittebane's personal journal. Due to the effect of the star's magic, "Caleb" will come out of the journal, telling the true story of him with his brother in Gravesfield and his stay in the Boiling Isles with Evelyn.
* Of course, Gus will relate the missing part of that story; that Caleb was killed by his own brother.
* In this diary they will also find:
** The research and instructions to create the Portal Door.
** Ancient spells that were banned during the Belos rule.
** A very powerful glyph combo, created by Caleb himself.

[[WMG: King will tell Luz about The Collector being alone]]
Despite Luz, her mother, and their friends thinking that The Collector is a threat due to what he does, they do not know that he is just misunderstood, once they meet King, the latter will tell them that The Collector is lonely with no friends.
* This can have both Luz, Eda, and King help The Collector see the error of their ways.
* Confirmed!

[[WMG: Luz will be turned into a puppet by The Collector]]
Inspired by this theory video [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BsxOqkPyhGk Luz Loses]]

Supporting on the theory of The Roundtable's latest theory on The Owl House, in order to show The Collector on what they're doing is wrong, she'll have to prove it to him by having them turn her into a puppet herself.
* Jossed. Barring Belos, Eda, King, Luz, and the Collector himself, everyone at the Archive House is turned into a puppet.

[[WMG: King will be [[WhatTheHellHero called out by The Collector]]
Because of how he has been lying to The Collector since "King's Tide" due to not being able to because he has called them mister, it is highly likely that because of how upset The Collector is now despite being unaware of King wanting to talk to them, it is likely that the latter will be called out by them for lying to them instead of being honest.

[[WMG: Luz will be turned into a puppet by The Collector]]
Supporting on the theory of The Roundtable's latest theory on The Owl House, in order to show The Collector on what they're doing is wrong, she'll have to prove it to them by having them turn her into a puppet herself.
* Jossed. Barring Belos, Eda, King, Luz, and the Collector himself, everyone at the Archive House is turned into a puppet.

[[WMG: Camilla will reason with The Collector]]
Supporting on the theory of The Roundtable's latest theory on The Owl House, Camilla will reason with The Collector, as while King does plan on talking to them, she is considered the strongest one due to being able to talk to Luz about her mistakes as well being able to know what she wanted to most.
* Jossed. Luz, Eda, and King are the ones to try reasoning with him.

[[WMG: Camilla will sympathize with The Collector]]

The Collector will become remorse of their actions, once they have realized after turning their own potential friend, Luz, into a puppet. Once they become guilty of it, Camilla we'll be able to let his emotions out and they'll pull off a HeelFaceTurn.

[[WMG: The Collector will pull of a HeelFaceTurn]]
Inspired by this theory video [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BsxOqkPyhGk Luz Loses]]
Once The Collector regrets their actions as well as realize the error of their ways, they'll finally pull off a HeelFaceTurn as well as help Luz and co. stop Belos.

[[WMG: The Titan and Caleb will be allies with the Hexsquad during the final battle]]
When will it seems that [[DarkestHour all is lost]], the souls of the [[TheCavalry Titan and Caleb]] will appear to help the Hexsquad.
* Confirmed for the former, Jossed for the latter.

[[WMG: The Previous Golden Guards’ will be allies of The Hexsquad during the final battle]]
With The Titan and Caleb Wittebane, the souls of [[TheCavalry The Golden Guards]] will appear to help the Hexsquad.
* Jossed. The previous Golden Guards' don't appear except as ghosts in "For the Future"

[[WMG: Gus will use his Illusion Magic on Belos]]
With how he was able to use it by restraining Belos in the Season 2 finale, he was able to see his past as well as knowing Hunter being a clone.
Since he now knows about it, he can likely use it on Belos over the final battle on his weakness of Caleb by projecting the memories as well as which would force Belos into confronting his own past as well as reveal it, which could shock Hunter, Eda, and Lilith.
* Jossed.

[[WMG: Luz will [[HeroicSacrifice sacrifice herself]] to The Collector]]
Once she sees one of The Collector’s spies behind her as well as attempt to turn her into one, instead of using her staff to save her, she’ll sacrifice herself while dying into a puppet.

[[WMG: Eda will help Camilla reason with The Collector]]
Despite agreeing with Lilith’s idea on attempting to trap The Collector again, she was happy with the idea of King talking to them, knowing that they are sad and alone. It is likely that since The Collector views Eda as an aunt, she can help with Camilla reason The Collector once the latter realizes that they turned their own potential friends into a puppet.
* Jossed. Camilla takes no part in reasoning with the Collector and is turned into a puppet at the start of the finale.

[[WMG: [[spoiler: The Collector will help stop Belos]]]]
[[spoiler: Once they realize their actions, they will help Luz and co. stop Belos, just like how they rescued her and her friend in "King's Tide]]

[[WMG: [[spoiler: Camilla will try to reason with The Collector and have them pull off a HeelFaceTurn]]]]
[[spoiler: Since Camilla has taken care of Vee and even defended her from Jacob as well as adopt her, She will try to reason as well as sympathized with The Collector when she realizes that they wanted to have a playmate and not be alone.]]

[[WMG: Everyone will be turned into puppets]]
Since the third and final special only mentions Luz, Eda, and King, it is pretty likely that everyone will be either turned into puppets or taken away by The Collector.
* Confirmed. Only the original trio and Belos avoid getting puppeted by the Collector.

[[WMG: The Collector will be given a CoolDownHug]]
Once The Collector starts to show remorse of their actions, they will be given a CoolDownHug by the Owl Trio, or by either Camilla or their friends/famiy.

[[WMG: The Collector will be forgiven]]
Because of how they didn’t mean to do anything harmful and didn’t know what there doing. Once they finally realize their actions, the others (Camilla and co.) will forgive them, as they get comforted by.
* Confirmed.

[[WMG: The Collector will be called out]]
Let's face it, just because the Collector is a lonely little kid doesn't mean they're automatically EasilyForgiven for being the reason Belos has stayed in power for so long. Take Amity, Lilith and Hunter for example. You can argue they were EasilyForgiven as well, but they felt remorse for their actions and worked to prove they earned that forgiveness.
Thus, if the Collector were to be redeemed, they need to learn some harsh truths first, probably from Luz.
-->'''Luz:''' [[YouHaveGotToBeKiddingMe Friends, is that your reasons for ruining so many lives?]] [[DisappointedByTheMotive You just wanted friends?!]] Well, I would never be friends with the deity who literally is the reason Belos nearly killed everyone on the Day of Unity! It's all because of you that Belos has been subjugating all these innocent witches for hundreds of years, and [[AllPowerfulBystander you just stood there and did absolutely nothing to say "Hey Belos, I get you're a bigot, but this is a little much."]] Listen, [[ItsAllMyFault I may be the reason Belos found you, but at least I know how much I screwed up.]] [[FreudianExcuseIsNoExcuse I don't care if you're just some lonely little kid, besides that is the most cliched villain motivation you could ever imagine, you're not going to make any friends if you keep doing this.]] Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to clean up your mess and help my friends. Consider yourself lucky if you make it out of this without being sealed away again.
In addition, once the Collector realizes that Belos is manipulating them again and calls him out for it, Belos will state something along the lines of [[WesternAnimation/BatmanBeyond "Do you have the slightest idea how little that narrows it down?"]], showing that [[NotSoDifferentRemark he considers the Collector no different]] [[ButForMeItWasTuesday from everyone else he's controlled over the years.]] Both of these will serve as a major BreakTheHaughty moment and teach the Collector that just because they're basically a god doesn't mean they're free from consequence.

[[WMG: The Collector will apologize for their actions]]
Once Luz calls them out for their destruction and chaos over The Boiling Isles, they will realize the actions they have caused and will apologize to Luz and the others for their powers.

[[WMG: Lilith will finally spare The Collector]]
Despite her wanting to have The Collector being trapped again, she doesn't know that they are misunderstood. Once The Collector makes a HeelFaceTurn, she'll finally spare them as well as forgive them.

[[WMG: Belos will finally be defeated]]
Because of how he has by conquering The Boiling Isles, abusing his minions, tricking people as well as causing Luz and co. to get in danger by gaslighting The Collector, it is pretty highly likely that he will be defeated once and for all.
* Confirmed.

[[WMG: There will be a [[EndOfSeriesAwareness farewell]] ending]]
Since The Owl House will be ending in a third and final special of the series, it is likely that there will be a farewell of the characters saying goodbye to the viewers as well as [[ThankingTheViewer thanking them]] for them.
Since it was obvious of it saying "Thanks For Watching".
* Confirmed.

[[WMG:Under the influence of a nightmare, Luz will attack her friends]]
And they'll be on the defensive the entire time.

[[WMG:Belos will try and possess the Titan's corpse.]]
The trailer shows him crawling towards something in his throne room, which is where the giant heart is. If this is true, Belos is probably going to try and use the Titan's corpse to kill everyone on the Boiling Isles, possibly even as a case of TakingYouWithMe.
* Confirmed.

[[WMG:The Hexsquad will be trapped by the Collector in a [[DreamLand dream shared]]]]
Each one will be forced to face their fears and/or regrets:
* Luz still feels guilty for having helped Belos and fears becoming him, a human who causes misery on the Boiling Isles.
* Hunter still fears being forced to be someone he doesn't want, and feels remorse for his actions as the Gold Guard, especially for the innocent Palismans he delivered to Belos.

[[WMG: Flapjack will show Hunter the truth about Caleb through a dream]]
Hunter will meet Flapjack again through his dreams; similar to Eda with the Owl Beast. Because the Palisman is now a part of him, Hunter will be able to see Flapjack's memories.
* Jossed.

[[WMG: The Caleb's ponytail]]
Caleb used his hair in the creation of the Portal Door. The portal needed an object from the Human Realm to be able to connect correctly with this, and so it was no longer necessary to traverse The In Between Realm.

[[WMG: Camilla will be kidnapped by The Collector and will bond with them]]
Well, so far, unlike Luz and the Hexsquad, including Eda and King, Camilla is only shown in one scene in the trailer of Watching and Dreaming. Which is likely in the start of the beginning of the episode. It is highly likely that The Collector kidnapped her, since there is no way she would've just disappear out of nowhere.

Since Luz or none of the Hexsquad except King has ever interacted with The Collector, besides Belos, it is possible the Camilla might bond with them, since they don't have a mother figure, besides Odalia, who is only their servant.

[[WMG: The Collector is with Camilla]]
The Collector is shown at the Titan's knee where they are next to a snowmen resembling a titan, looking at someone. It is likely that Camilla is with them.

If you look in here you can that they are with someone down the snow. [[https://i.redd.it/9la9jnx18tqa1.jpg]]
* Jossed. Camilla is turned into a puppet and remains in the Archive House.

[[WMG: The Owl Trio will overcome their fears]]
Despite the three being trapped in each bubble by The Collector, Luz at the end of the trailer uses the same light glyph Amity gave her to wake up from her nightmare, so it is highly likely that Eda and King will overcome their fears as well.
* Jossed. They escape their dreams using the light glyph.

[[WMG: The Collector is helping the Owl Crew overcome their fears]]
Despite having trapped The Owl Trio in nightmare bubbles, there could be a chance that they are helping them overcome their fears.

[[WMG: The Hexsquad will be freeing everyone]]
In the trailer for "Watching and Dreaming", Gus is shown holding a puppet Amelia while Willow is shown using glyphs with one of them in her mouth, It is highly likely that they'll be freeing everyone from The Collection Room.

[[WMG: The Collector's Spies will end up being [[HoistByHisOwnPetard turned into toys]] themselves]]
The Collector's Spies have powers that are able to turn people into puppets/dolls, since they are likely to appear in the series finale, it is possible that one of them will end up being turned into a toy themselves.
* Jossed. No such thing occurs.

[[WMG: Luz, Eda, and King will be facing The Collector]]
Since all three of them have encountered them in an unknown position, it is likely that it’ll focuse on them facing their fears while trying to escape out of their nightmares. Midway through, the heroes will manage to break free of the Collector's games/nightmares and then they will take them to snow as they start to talk him down, into turning good.

[[WMG: The Collector will still be staying alive]]
They have spent millennia of years in the In between realm, not to mention that he is a deity immortal god. It is highly likely that they will stay alive over the events of the final episode, just only having their powers likely taken away or depowered.

[[WMG: [[spoiler: Owlbert is alive]]]]
[[spoiler: Although and despite that Owlbert hasn’t appeared or has been seen since “Oh Titan, Where Art Thou?”, including after the events of “King’s Tide” as well as The Day of Unity, he does get reference and was mentioned in “For The Future” despite not being seen with King, and The Owl Crew.]]

[[spoiler: So, this could heavily imply as well as being highly likely that Owlbert is alive, and will likely appear in the final special.]]

[[WMG: Belos will be KilledOffForReal by someone]]
Because of how much of an evil selfish hypocritical emperor he was before being defeated by The Collector in The Season 2 finale, it is pretty likely that he'll be killed by someone. Possibly:
* Luz
** Defied.
* Eda
** Confirmed.
* King
** Confirmed.
* The Collector
** Jossed.
* Hunter
** Jossed.
* Raine
** Confirmed.
* Ghost Caleb and the Grimwalkers
** Jossed.
* Bat Queen
** Jossed.

[[WMG: Kikimora will end up being [[LaserGuidedKarma punished]]]]
Because of how much of a selfish hypocritical backstabbed person she was throughout the series, it is highly likely that she will end up being punished due to her crimes and actions.

[[WMG: Odalia will end up being more [[LaserGuidedKarma punished]]]]

[[WMG: Kikimora will have a HeelFaceTurn]]

[[WMG: Possible Characters that could interact with The Collector]]
Because of how so far tha the only interactions we have gotten for The Collector so far, is mostly with Phillip/Belos, King, Terra, and Odalia.

With ”Watching and Dreaming”, it is very likely that a few more characters will interact with them throughout their “games” with May le a few candidates, like Camilla to interact with them.

* Luz
* Eda
* Camilla
* Lilith
* Hooty
* Owlbert
* Raine

[[WMG: Luz is going to help The Collector while befriending them]]
Despite their differences between each other, the two have a few other things in common, such as being alone, and wanting to have friends.

In the trailer, she said “You know it doesn’t live forever” to someone, presumably The Collector on telling them how someone playing with him doesn’t last forever.

It may be implied that she is talking to them, as well as trying to let them know on what they are doing. Once she comforts them, she’ll be able to help them realize what they are doing, and The Collector will make up for their own powers.

[[WMG: The residents of The Boiling Isles will leave to the Human Realm]]

[[spoiler:If Belos does possess the Titan's body, the residents of the Boiling Isles will have to be evacuated to Gravesfield to escape destruction, possibly via King unlocking some Titan power. This could be permanent with the series ending with the BI residents settling into Gravesfield as their new home. Or it could just be temporary until the Boiling Isles is restored or they find another Titan corpse to move onto (with some witches and demons choosing to remain on Earth since they prefer living in a place where the rain doesn't boil and there's no monsters trying to kill them).]]

[[WMG: Possible Playmates on who will be with The Collector]]
Once they become [[HeelFaceTurn good]] after a rousing speech from Camilla, there can be possibilities on who could become his playmate for the future.
* Lilith
* Hooty
* Eberwolf

[[WMG: The ending will ''not'' be a HappilyEverAfter]]
While the story could end with Belos destroyed for good and the Collector re-sealed or redeemed, this doesn't mean that [[BittersweetEnding everything will be hunky dory]]. The story could still end with tragedy and several issues that can't be resolved overnight:
* The denizens, especially the children of the Boiling Isles, will be heavily traumatized by what occurred under Belos and desperately need therapy.
* If the Collector turns his life around, [[ReformedButNotTamed he might still have immaturity issues]] that will take years to resolve, meaning the Boiling Isles still isn't in the clear. If he re-gets sealed, the amount of magic and effort it would take could take a long time to recover.
** The Collector will prove to be [[BeyondRedemption irredeemable]] or too dangerous to run amok, meaning Luz and her friends will have no choice but to lock him up again. This could lead to a soul-crushingly sad scene where the Collector is [[AlasPoorVillain tearfully begging for another chance]], only for Luz to (reluctantly) [[ShootTheDog decide that sapient creature or not, the Collector can't mature enough to consider his actions]]. Luz will forever be haunted by such a brutal decision and confront how the hero's journey is not as black and white as she initially thought, with Camilla telling her that adults must make hard choices for the greater good.
* Some heroic characters [[HeroicSacrifice might die or give up their lives]], which was foreshadowed by Flapjack giving up his life to help Hunter. This could also haunt Luz and give her a massive reality check about how brutal and terrible fighting against evil is.
* Even if Belos dies, his could [[VillainousLegacy leave behind a loyal following]] that could try and finish what he tried to start. The show could end with these loyalists causing havoc...[[AndTheAdventureContinues and Luz and her friends resolving to take them down]].
* Luz could be forced to give up her life on the Boiling Isles and never see Amity again [[YouCantGoHomeAgain or her life in Connecticut and never see her mom again]]. As brutal as this would be, it would instill in Luz lessons about sacrifice and how life can't always go your way.
* Other wannabe villains, like Kikimora and Odalia, could take advantage of the power vacuum left by Belos' death to seize power for themselves, plunging the Boiling Isles into a SuccessionCrisis or even a civil war.
* In the best-case scenario, one of the heroes could take control of the Boiling Isles...but still show how governance and rebuilding society after a long conflict is ''not'' easy since you have to compete with powerful interests that have their own ideas on reforming society to get even a fraction of your ideas implemented.

[[WMG: Possible [[TheStinger Mid/Post Credits Scenes]]]]]
Despite The Owl House already about to end, there may be a possibility of there being [[TheStinger Post Credits]] according to the video.

It may be possible that there may be possible spin-offs that could still happen in the future,

* Possible Future could set up for The Collector having new games as well as having adventures including going on a journey.
* King finding out about his biological mother.
* Possible adventures with of The Boiling Isles.

[[WMG: There will be a Possible Future for The Owl House]]
With the possibility below of the ending of there not being a HappilyEverAfter, while a few ending possibilities may happen or not, there are still possibilities of there being spin-hooks that could set up by a SequelHook or not.
* Luz going on adventures with her friends.
* The Collector going on adventures, with his new friends and family.
* Camila bonding as well as interacting with Eda, and Lilith.

[[WMG: Caleb and Phillip met Evelyn when they got lost in the woods during a witch hunt]]

[[WMG: Luz and Camilla will ultimately choose to stay in the Demon Realm]]
