[[WMG: Mario has to [[ObfuscatingStupidity pretend to be mentally disabled]] and is a BarrierMaiden for the entire [=SMG4=] world.]]
Note: This theory assumes that the [=SMG4verse=] in-universe is a really messed up emulation of ''Super Mario 64'' (implied by "Mario in real life?").

Mario isn't quite as dumb as he appears, nor does he [[IDidWhatIHadToDo take any true pleasure]] in the more questionable actions he takes, but needs to act like an asshole who doesn't know any better when it comes to his actions. Why is it that he has to act this way?

Because Mario has to follow the script of the videos that [=SMG4=] (the real-life one, not his Mario 64 self who serves as his avatar in the emulation) is recording using their world. If he were to "break the script" and show his true colors, Mario fears that "Real World" [=SMG4=] would hard reset the emulator program and effectively erase the memories and learned knowledge of everyone in the [=SMG4=] world. [=SMG4=] [[ObliviouslyEvil doesn't realize]] that he's dooming an entire world with this action, nor that the characters within the emulation are sentient. Mario possesses RippleEffectProofMemory for some reason, so loading a previous save state wouldn't affect his memories, but a hard reset of the emulator would wipe him for good.

This state of affairs causes Mario no small deal of stress, and if he were to explain his condition to anyone, they would either refuse to believe him or their memory of the conversation would be gone when it comes time for [=SMG4=] to load a save state for his next video, and Mario has no way of predicting when a new save state will be recorded. Yet, he persists in following the script, because his own heroic nature drives him to keep the people of his world as safe as they can be, barring his own upholding of his personal masquerade... and because he hopes one day to find another way to the "Real World" and show [=SMG4=] that his world is more than a bunch of puppets.
* Interesting, his ObfuscatingStupidity is somewhat put to light in the 2019 Christmas Special on [=SMG4=] but it's more like you said. "Mario is merely following the script."
* The BarrierMaiden prediction has been confirmed. He’s the universe’s avatar, which means if he dies, the whole universe goes out with him.

* ''VideoGame/PoppyPlaytime'' Chapter 2. They have 3 voice actors from the game available for use thanks to Murder Drones, so they have readily available ways to parody the characters. Additionally, two previous developers for the game (Zachary Preciado and Micah Preciado) are now creative officers and writers for Glitch Productions.

[[WMG: [[WebAnimation/TheGmodIdiotBox Dr. Hax]] will make a guest appearance.]]
Of course this is assuming [=SMG4=] gets permission from [=DasBoSchitt=].

[[WMG: Ssenmodnar 0 is an InUniverse retold OriginsEpisode for the whole series' retardedness]]
* Jossed, the actual origin was shown in [=SMG4=]'S Origins.

[[WMG: A future episode will be about the major characters learning [[{{Reincarnation}} who they were in past lives]].]]
And somehow, a previous episode dialogue and/or an important characteristic will be {{Foreshadowing}} about their past lives.

[[WMG: Chris Chan Sonichu is a failed [=SMG=].]]
His avatar is Sonichu, and like the other [=SMG=]s, go on adventures in their own video game universe with their avatars. However, unlike the other [=SMG=]s, Chris Chan utterly failed at being an [=SMG=].

[[WMG: In-Universe, [=SMG4=] has some connections to, or is at least aware of, the Meta Runner universe.]]
* Besides the obvious fact that [=SMG4=] is the AuthorAvatar of the creator of both shows, there is one small tidbit that piqued my interest. The video description for the Meta Runner trailer says, and I quote, that Tari "has the uncanny ability to warp into video games". Now look at [=SMG4=], who, like Tari, is an original character walking around the Mushroom Kingdom as if he was in the Super Mario Bros. canon. If we also take into his account of being an avid computer expert, it's not unlikely that [=SMG4=] is able to develop technology similar to the Meta Runner universe. And then there's the "Mario in Real Life" videos, where the [=SMG4=]'s in both the real world and Mario universe are treated as the same character. In short, I think I found out how [=SMG4=] got into the Mushroom Kingdom.

[[WMG:There will be a video where Peach gets fed up with Mario and the gang's (mostly Mario) tendency to screw up.]]
Which will cause her to say "CAN'T YOU MORONS DO ANYTHING RIGHT".
* Peach sort of did that to Mario in “[=SM64=]: Mario Joins the Circus”, so it’s probably not too outlandish.
* Maybe. But this time it isn't caused by the castle being set on fire. And Peach could probably give each of the gang a ReasonYouSuckSpeech. Like Tari for being terrible at everything except games. And telling Bob that ladies don't dig him.

[[WMG: K-Pop will become the next acceptable target of the series.]]
The bloopers from 17-19 (and probably even earlier) made it clear that the series doesn't shy away from mocking a cultural aspect coming from a country of Asia. It could just be a matter of time for when they start to mock [[KoreanPopMusic South Korea's variation of pop music]], its fans and its singers.

[[WMG: Meggy's family will appear at some point]]
Meggy finds out that her family will be coming over for a visit, which is bad because they [[FantasticRacism despise humans]] and are unaware of her transformation from the Anime Arc. Her plan will be for Mario to disguise himself as her and act likewise in order fool her family. Unfortunately, Mario keeps screwing up the plan. Meggy is eventually forced to reveal her new form to her family, and in a heartwarming, wholesome moment, they accept her the way she is because they too were hiding secrets about themselves. And then comes the hilarious ending twist - they take their hatred on humans out on Mario because of his idiocy. Some of her family members could even become regulars in future episodes.

[[WMG: Speculation on Glitch Productions’ new works revealed at the end of WOTFI 2020.]]
* August’s has already been confirmed to be a movie cut of Meta Runner season 1.
* Ultra Jump Mania will be either a prequel/spinoff of Meta Runner focusing on Theo or a video game like how it is in the Meta Runner universe.
* Meta Runner Season 2 is self-explanatory.
* Sunset Paradise, judging by the orange font, could focus on Meggy, possibly as a crime drama similar to Series/MiamiVice.
** Most likely jossed, Sunset Paradise looks like it will focus on a unnamed cat-human hybrid and will take place on an island.
** Actually confirmed as starring Meggy, with the cat-human Whisk as one of her adversaries.
* The pixelated series looks like it has headphones, and it could possibly say Project Ear, and could either be a music series focusing on Saiko.
** Possibly jossed, the pixelated series, is more likely than not the series featuring Meggy that was teased at the end of the Glitch video.
* The mystery cards could be a possible Glitch Productions trading card series.
* The last two seemed to have been abandoned, so we'll never know

[[WMG: Cast members that will get permanent voice actors.]]
Over the years, some members of the [=SMG4=] crew have been getting new voice actors one by one, which include [[DescendedCreator Luke himself for his avatar]], and recently [[spoiler: Meggy getting the voice of [[Manga/JoJosBizarreAdventureGoldenWind Trish Una]] herself, Creator/LizzieFreeman.]] This begs the question: who ''else'' could get their own permanent voice actor? Let's gather all the candidates that don't have permanent voice actors already:
* Saiko: She only recycles voice clips of multiple anime voice actresses, with Ellen Barcley having given some characters some singing lines during Darkest Hour, while Elsie Lovelock voices her Japanese lines in "Meggy Learns Japanese".
* Jub Jub: So far, all he says is his name. That said, he is still a baby and will eventually say his first words.
* Melony: Very much like Saiko, Melony recycles voice clips, but from various Vtubers, with most of them being from [[WebAnimation/{{hololive}} Inugami Korone]]. As to when she'll be voiced like Meggy is still up in the air, but considering Glitch Productions' ever-increasing production budget, it wouldn't be surprising.
** She does get a few lines in "The Melony Felony"--including saying Axol's name for the first time. If you're wondering, the person who provides her voice is Wolfychu.

[[WMG: Potential candidates for a new BigBad.]]
* Bowser, electing to take his status as main antagonist in his source material back and become the villain of the [=SMG4=]-verse.
* [[BigBadDuumvirate Chris and Swagmaster]], after getting sacked one too many times, decide to try their hand at villainy.
* Any of the antagonists from the VideoGame/PaperMario or VideoGame/MarioAndLuigi games. The most likely candidates are [[MonsterClown Dimentio]] and [[MadScientist Fawful]] for being relatively popular and fleshed-out villains, as well as Lord Crump/Dr. Pootis for being a character already existing in [=SMG4=].
* [[BewareTheSillyOnes Doctor Eggman]] attempting to get back on the villainous track after having some previous success, and befitting of his recent CharacterRerailment in the series.
* [[RageAgainstTheHeavens Master Hand]], who was indirectly responsible for Waluigi's villainous turn, becoming an antagonist after rubbing the [=SMG4=] cast the wrong way one too many times and causing the gang to conspire to KillTheGod. May involve the enlistment of [[TheWorfEffect Sans]] for being one of the few characters to fully defeat M. Hand.
* [[GreaterScopeVillain Bowser's Boss]] from "Two Evil Friends". Yes, he's a OneShotCharacter, but he was the one who promoted [=SMG4=] to BigBad in the first place, and he [[{{Understatement}} might not be too happy]] to see that [[KilledOffForReal SMG3's been desposed of...]]
* [[FantasticRacism The leader of Team Killer Ink]] from ''Meggy's Destiny''. She is obviously an Inkling supremacist who views humans as inferior. The next arc will see her usurp leadership of Inkopolis, build an army with DJ Octavio's help, and take over the Mushroom Kingdom, which will see Peach KilledOffForReal, seeing as how she's nothing more than a DiabolusExMachina these days. The Glitchy Gang is forced to go on the run from the Inkling Death Squads who are now rounding up every non-Inkling in sight and taking them to camps where humans are systematically exterminated and everyone else is put in a machine that turns them into Inklings. Later in the arc, Leader betrays DJ Octavio and begins exterminating the Octarians as revenge for stealing the Great Zap Fish, while the Glitchy Gang teams up with a group of Inklings who disagreed with Leader's eugenics and were declared "traitors" and sent on the run after the death squads tried to arrest them for high treason. In the end, Meggy and Leader fight while Mario and [=SMG4=] lead an army of Inkling rebels, Octarians, a rejection-fueled Waluigi and his army of T-Pose zombies created from the bodies of Leaders' loyalists, the remaining members of the Anime Cartel, and Susan Wabbajack and her children. Leader is brought to her knees and forced to surrender, and the next episode is a WholePlotReference to ''Film/JudgmentAtNuremberg'', as Leader and her goons are put through the wringer and all sentenced to death by firing squad. The episode after that would see the Mushroom Kingdom hold a democratic election to replace the deceased Peach, the candidates being Daisy, Rosalina, and Bob.
* [[WesternAnimation/VillainousCartoonNetwork Black Hat]]
* The TV Entity that’s been pulling the strings throughout Season 13.

[[WMG: The {{Arc Villain}}s of the channel somewhat represent one of The SevenDeadlySins.]]
With the exception of Gluttony (so far), all the villains of the "big" [=SMG4=] productions represent one of each sin.
* Waluigi of the Waluigi Arc = Wrath: Being angry for being rejected in Smash Bros and by everyone else. Alternatively, Waluigi could represent the original eighth deadly sin, Despair.
* Bob of the Rapper Bob Arc = Greed: Selling out his friends for fame and wealth.
* Peach of the Anime Arc P1 = Sloth: She bans anime for the right reasons but only does ordering around others to do the heavy lifting.
* Francis of the Anime Arc P2 = Lust: Wants an island full of waifus.
* Team Killer Ink of Meggy's Destiny = Pride: Thinking very highly of themselves and are indignant that Splatfest is allowing humans to compete.
* [=SMG3=] of the Website/YouTube Arc = Envy: Jealous of [=SMG4's=] success as a [=YouTuber=].
* We finally have a villain that embodies Gluttony, at least somewhat. The leadup for Sunset Paradise gave us Shadow Meggy, the physical manifestation of her counterpart's insecurities and flaws. Whenever Meggy's depressed, Shadow Meggy appears to taunt her, giving off the implication that she feeds off of her suffering.
** Alternatively, Zero embodies Gluttony, draining victims and avatars. It seems that, aside from making zombie armies, he also used their energy to grow big.
** Alternatively, it could also be Waluigi represents Wrath, Bob represents Gluttony (even though he has everything he could ever want, he still wants more, kind of like how gluttons always want more food even when they’ve had more than enough), Francis is Lust, [=SMG3=] is Envy, Niles is Pride (his perfectionism is his prime character trait, and he has some lines in his VillainousBreakdown that very obviously allude to some sort of ego), Lawyer Kong is Sloth (he never does anything on his own and relies on other people to get the dirty work done for him), and the unknown TV Entity is Greed (it exploits the greeds of others and twists their desires in horrifying ways).

[[WMG: Bowser will hire a babysitter]]
So he can go on adventures without the risk of losing custody of his children again.

[[WMG: The Ultimate Meme will return...]]
Maybe [=SMG3=] will make one and become all-powerful.

[[WMG: In-universe the [=SMG4=] series is a reality show]]
That explains how they can change the past by just changing his videos with the Website/YouTube remote.

[[WMG: [=SMG3=] will [[TheBadGuyWins win]] in the last episode of ''WebAnimation/Supermarioglitchy4sSuperMario64Bloopers'']]
* Virtually impossible by now, since [=SMG3=] has pulled a HeelFaceTurn.
* [[Main/LongRunners That would require there to be a last episode.]]

[[WMG: Desti was [[WebAnimation/MetaRunner Lucina]]'s counterpart.]]
Both are purple-haired females who are very close to another red-headed female, [[spoiler:and tragically died, causing a devastating impact on their friends.]]
* Neat comparison, but one problem: [[spoiler: Lucina ain't dead...but that could also mean-]]

[[WMG: Tari is linked with her WebAnimation/MetaRunner counterpart.]]
As a side effect from warping for too long in War of the Fat Italians 2019. Which would explain why she felt like she knows Belle. And why she dreamt up an abridged version of Meta Runner season 1.

[[WMG: Mario's failure to revive Greg will come back to bite him in the ass.]]
As shown at the start of "The Resurrection", the aliens were willing to spare Earth from destruction if Mario and friends resurrect Greg. Now that they've failed, it's safe to say that [[{{Understatement}} they won't be too happy about it...]]

[[WMG: A new Inkling or Octoling character will be introduced when If Mario was in... Splatoon 3 releases.]]
Once the [[VideoGame/Splatoon3 actual game]] releases, [=SMG4=] will likely make a "If Mario was in..." video based on it. A new character would likely be introduced to serve as a link to the inkling world, given the results of the Anime arc.
* Alternatively, Meggy could get a new pet to coincide the release of Splatoon 3. Despite the fact that she's not an Inkling anymore.
* OR repeating this theory again, one of the other characters will be turned into an Inkling.
** This has the potential for a RunningGag throughout the future episode where Meggy keeps wishing that such a predicament affected ''her'' instead.
* There is also room to speculate about the plot of such an episode - maybe about Meggy visiting her parents, similarly to a previous WMG?
** As revealed in Meggy's Q&A livestream, Meggy claims her parents are unaware that she is a human and then sheepishly says hello to them possibly viewing. This just might come back to bite her once she returns from Port Aurora.

[[WMG: Mario caused the fire on Notre Dame in 2019 ]]

[[WMG: RTX Goose will become part of the Glitchy Gang, as a TeamPet.]]
Because why not! Also, there is the fact that its debut episode doesn't show it returning to where it came from at the end.

[[WMG: Meggy wasn't completely telling the truth when she told Mario that she wanted to be a sports teacher instead of a superhero.]]

While Mario is Meggy's best friend, he's also LethallyStupid. If Meggy did in fact want to become a superhero (with the sports teacher job being for her [[SecretIdentity old identity]]), even she may not trust Mario with the information regarding her new second life.

[[WMG: What if Mario was in… Sunset Paradise]]
Although ''WebAnimation/SunsetParadise'' has finished its run, Meggy did say she will return to Port Aurora in the future. Perhaps by next summer, she will pay Auri and her other new friends a visit, this time with Mario tagging along for the adventure. Also, [[spoiler: Whisk]] will be back for a rematch, and a redemption moment. Technically, Mario did make a LawyerFriendlyCameo in one of the episodes (in a photo with Meggy's thumb blocking his head), but again ''Sunset Paradise'' is over, so Mario probably wouldn't have to hide his face if this crossover was part of the main [=SMG4=] series.

[[WMG: The much-anticipated "If Mario Was In… Series/SquidGame" will tie into a possible training arc too.]]
Meggy hosts the Squid Game [[WellIntentionedExtremist in an attempt to train as many people as possible.]]

* Jossed, but she does make it to the final.

[[WMG: The Halloween 2021 episode]]
Combining some of the previous theories above, it will involve the characters attempting to summon Axol back from the dead, but in the process they also revive Zero as their souls have become intertwined. They must then figure out how to separate the two and defeat Zero once again. After that, Axol with his soul at peace will be able to say a final proper goodbye to his friends, or Melony will draw a new vessel for him using the Ink Weaver.

* Jossed, it's a Squid Game episode.

[[WMG: In the 2021 Christmas special, Desti, Greg and Axol will appear as ghosts in a ShoutOut to ''Film/ReturnOfTheJedi''.]]
* Jossed, maybe another Christmas special.

[[WMG: If Mario Was In… VideoGame/Splatoon3 will tie in to said game's "return of the mammalians" plot.]]

While mammals obviously didn't go extinct in [=SMG4=]'s timeline, the September 2021 Nintendo Direct Splatoon 3 trailer shows that ink-based creatures can gain mammalian traits. Guess which series has a former Inkling that was turned into a mammal? ([[CaptainObvious specifically a human]])

This episode would show other Inklings that have been turned into humans as a result of some mysterious villainous plot, and have a subplot of trying to disprove that Meggy caused the chaos.

Other possibilities could include:
* The other characters trying to teach the humanized Inklings how to adjust to their new life. HilarityEnsues when they struggle to do human things like swimming.
* The return of [[WebAnimation/SunsetParadise Whisk]] as either an antagonist or a reformed ally who busts Meggy out of jail.
* E. Gadd discovering a way to restore the Inklings back to normal. This gives Meggy the chance to finally return to her old life, but after all the development she's been through, she decides she's happy with who she is now. Then HilarityEnsues when one of the other characters becomes an Inkling, which comes off as somewhat insulting to her.

* Jossed, it's about [[ItMakesSenseInContext [=SMG4=] in a new body and a re-inkling Meggy trying to change Mario back into a dumbass]]

[[WMG: There will be an episode where Axol returns as a ghost]]
In a moment that is both heartwarming and tear-jerking, Axol's ghost will return to Melony to say one last goodbye to her.
* Or Melony tries to use the Inkweaver to create a new body for Axol's ghost to inhabit.
* Confirmed in REVELATIONS.

[[WMG: A future episode will be a cross between VideoGame/Splatoon3 and Series/SquidGame.]]
* Jossed, they both get made into separate episodes.

[[WMG: Zero is the [[WesternAnimation/TheSwanPrincess Forbidden Arts]] reborn.]]
* Jossed, [[spoiler: He's a corrupted Meme Guardian fused with a Bootleg [=SMG=] from a box of old computers]]

[[WMG: Nintendo will ban (Cease and Desist) this series.]]
* [[HilariousInHindsight Funnily enough]], this was the plot of the Lawsuit Arc

[[WMG: Melony's pet axolotl is Axol reincarnated.]]
* But the axolotl was just a random one Mario wished into existence.
** Still, Mario might have unknowingly reincarnate Axol at the same time.

[[WMG: Uncanny Mr. Mario takes place after the ending of Mario's Bus Trip]]
Mr. Incredible may have found Mario alone in the cave, so he saw him as an easy target and hooked him up in the simulation while Mario was unconscious.

[[WMG: FM was [[LyingCreator lying]] about Axol being permanantly dead just for a future surprise.]]
* Most likely Jossed. Axol seems completely done for by now.

[[WMG: Glitch Productions will collaborate with [[WebAnimation/IfTheEmperorHadATextToSpeechDevice Ogre]] [[WebAnimation/HunterTheParenting Poppenang]] in the future.]]
Both [=SMG4=] and Bruva Alfabusa are some of the largest names in the web animation world, with the former rising to stardom because of these bloopers, and the latter because of his first actual web-series, If The Emperor Had A Text-To-Speech Device. Sure, one's in Australia and the other's in Sweden, but I'm sure something could be figured out. As for what they could collaborate on, perhaps a Halloween video where the Family from Hunter the Parenting encounters Mario and gang? Or perhaps a parody of Emperor TTS called, "If Mario Had A Text-To-Speech Device"?

[[WMG: Meggy will get a 20th birthday episode.]]
In “Welcome to Mario Mart” her birthday was confirmed as July 16th 2002. July 16th 2022 falls on a Saturday, when episodes are normally released. Could [=SMG4=] be {{Foreshadowing}} an episode revolving around Meggy’s [=20th?=]
* Nope, it's an episode where Mario gets drip (even though Meggy got him the outfit that he wore halfway in the episode).

[[WMG: Some of the characters in this series will cameo in the sequel of ''Film/ChipNDaleRescueRangers2022'']]

[[WMG: Meggy is an Inkling-Human hybrid.]]

* Even before getting turned into a human, Meggy is shown to have bones in “Super Challenge 64”.

* Inklings are entirely made of ink. If Meggy was 100% Inkling, she would have been [[CruelAndUnusualDeath disintegrated by the Ink Zuccer.]]

This theory postulates that Meggy’s Inkling-ness was a “shell” that the Ink Zuccer broke, seemingly turning her human.

[[WMG: Mannequin Meggy will be a new girl.]]
* When Mario dressed a melon with Meggy's beanie, that melon eventually became Melony. Mario dressed up a mannequin with Meggy's beanie, so by that logic, that mannequin might become a new character in the future.

[[WMG: The Mario-brand spaghetti will appear in a future video.]]
* In "Mario Googles Himself", Mario finds ''Super Mario Bros.''-themed spaghetti online, [[TrademarkFavoriteFood orders a massive amount of it]], and is disappointed when he finds out it will take six months to arrive. It would be the perfect BrickJoke if it actually arrived in a video six months later.

[[WMG: Possible new members to join the Glitchy Gang]]
Since [=SMG4=]'s crew is a RagtagBunchOfMisfits that can give [[Manga/OnePiece The Straw Hats]] a run for their money, it might be fun to guess who might join their ever expanding numbers
* A 2d character making use of the RogerRabbitEffect, they could also be made in pixel-art and be a parody of sprite animations like WebAnimation/SuperMarioBrosZ
* A [[UsefulNotes/FurryFandom Furry]] character. We did kinda have one with Axol, [[BlackComedy but he's dead so he doesn't count]], plus he's an amphibian, not a mammal.
** Confirmed with Karen.
* Another Inkling, maybe a pro-human activist who got chased out of inkopolis because of her beliefs, and wants [=SMG4=] to help the inklings quit their FantasticRacism

[[WMG: There was a war between Inklings and humans at Inkopolis years in the past]]
Specifically, 20 years after the Great Turf War & 80 years before "If Mario Was In Splatoon". It would explain Inkopolis' blatant human racism, as well as what the [=SMG4=] wiki described as the Inkopolis Apartheid.

[[WMG: Splatfest could potentially come back]]
A very interesting FreezeFrameBonus can be seen in not one, but two [=SMG4=] videos (being WOTFI 2022 and "POV: You're Mario") showcasing the Super Mushroom vs Super Star Splatfest, an actual event that happened in ''VideoGame/Splatoon2''. This could either be a fun EasterEgg… or it could be a hint that Splatfests could return. Yes, the Squid Sisters said in ''Meggy's Destiny'' that Splatfest was discontinued for cost-effect reasons, but enough time could have passed by this point for Inkopolis to accumulate enough money to bring back their annual tradition. It's also possible that they didn't use ALL of their money for their last biggest Splatfest ever and, since then, they've been working for more money and saving it until there's enough to bring them back.

[[WMG: There will be an episode of [=SMG4=] dedicated to [[RealLifeWritesThePlot Susan Wigginout stepping down as]] Website/{{Youtube}} [[RealLifeWritesThePlot CEO]]]]
At the time of this WMG, it has been announced that Susan Wealthyclod will be stepping down as [=YouTube=] CEO after 9 years in the position, giving the role to Neal Mohan. The opportunity for an [=SMG4=] episode to be made out of this is right there, just saying.
* Maybe they could make Neal Mohan a parody/expy of [[VisualNovel/PhoenixWrightAceAttorney Redd White]], considering that he's an [=NFT=] bro and pushed for the removal of the dislike button.
* Semi-confirmed/jossed? It's never made a big episode but is referenced in ''Mario plays Cat Mario but everytime he dies the walls close in'' where a ClusterBeepBomb causes Susan [[VideoGame/ProjectSekai Wonderhoy]] to quit on the spot. She's also the main source of conflict in ''We Don't Talk About What Happened in The Elevator'' because of said-stepdown.

[[WMG: The events leading up to the new [=SMG4=] Castle]]
Ever since ''It's Gotta Be Perfect'', [=SMG4=] has been on the road in an RV until construction the new castle can kick off. However, there's one thing, one aspect of all this that has only been covered in ''Mario Plays Cat Mario but every time he dies the walls close in'': Susan's replacement as CEO. Going with an above theory that there will be an episode about the new CEO, Neal Mohan, I think Neal will have a hand in helping [=SMG4=] find a spot to build his castle for a favor… whether it's coordinating for new [=YouTube=] policies (As the last major policy update, back in March, was perceived as a major win for content creators) or protecting him against a [[UnstoppableRage very angry Susan Whippersnapper]].

[[WMG: Swagmaster and Chris are next for a redesign]]
Their designs are ''really'' old, and with every other major not-Nintendo character ([=SMG4=], [=SMG3=], Boopkins, Bob, and Meggy) getting a redesign, why not these guys?

[[WMG: [[WebAnimation/AlexSpider Inkura]] lost to Team Killer Ink]]
We know from "Western Spaghetti" that Inkura took the title of Splatfest champion from One-Shot Wren, so it's safe to assume that she took on Team Killer Ink at some point before the events of "Meggy's Destiny" and lost. You could say Meggy indirectly avenged Inkura while purposefully avenging Desti if you really wanted to.

[[WMG: The Axol Jr. Retcon]]
Many have pointed out that Axol Jr.'s origins were retconned in the 2022 Christmas episode; that he came from a wish by Mario and not a pet store. Well, what if the wish was only temporary and Melony went to the pet store after the fact?

[[WMG: In this universe, Tari is an amnesiac Disassembly Drone given a human appearance.]]

[[WMG: Tari is 13 to 15 years old.]]
It’s been stated in the past that Tari’s younger than her Meta Runner counterpart, but it’s never been stated how young. Her light voice, childlike attitude, and shyness, can potentially imply she’s still in her teen years.

[[WMG: Killer Ink’s fate after the Splatfest]]
After bullying the [=SplatSquad=], attempting to kill Meggy & playing dirty, Leader got punched in the face by Meggy (and was beaten up) after the last match and the Killer Inks were banned from Turf War.

Because why not?

[[WMG: Potential Candidates for the [=Remastered64=] Series]]
* war of the fat italians 2011: Because who else is kinda tired of a WOTFI being the climax of an arc?
* smg3's plan to destory smg4 because he felt like it: This remaster would be set in an AlternateTimeline where [=SMG3=] never underwent his HeelFaceTurn (yet) and continued to be a recurring villain in the series. The villains he would recruit this time around would actually be the modern ones, including Francis, The Box Club & Their Leader, Lawyer Kong, One Shot Wren, Marty, and even Mr. Puzzles. The modern cast would be here in place of X and [=FightingMario54321=]. That guard that tried to join them but got promptly shot would actually be Susan, having gotten a new job as a guard and still wishing to claim revenge on [=SMG4=]. Bowser could either still be the one to help the heroes reach the villains or be replaced by Waluigi and/or Bob. The climax would be different as well. [=SMG3=]'s antics with that cannon he loaded with a nuke would still be there… but instead of the nuke blowing up the black hole, the black hole would end up becoming a portal to the God Box… paving the way for SMGØ to return. And the heroes and villains alike [[UnderStatement would figure they probably should take care of that.]]
* [=SnowTrapped=]: It was already impressive that the events of a video from so long ago served as a plot point for WOTFI 2023, so imagine this as the next edition of [=Remastered64=]. Only… they would have to tone down that ''one'' scene (like cut outside the igloo or something) to make it more appropriate for [=YouTube's=] guidelines.
* The Spaghettipocalypse
* Seaside Stupidity
* One or All of the ssenmodnar Series: Because who else really misses the ssenmodnars?
* [=SMG3=]'s Guantlet of Doom
* If Mario Was in Portal

[[WMG: Ideas for future (non-arc) bloopers in general]]
* Radio Silence: Tired of the info drought, Mario and Luigi decide to infiltrate Nintendo to find out what their next game is. An encounter with Lawyer Kong may or may not ensue

Not a TV show studio, but a place where the televisions themselves are built.

[[WMG: All of the evil things done by Waluigi are done to grow The Power Of Rejection]]
Made possible in "The Mario Cafe" by Waluigi's {{Leitmotif}} playing after he gets kicked out of the titular cafe due to the events of "Mario And The T Pose Virus", suggesting he is planning something.
* [[spoiler: Confirmed.]]

[[WMG: Mario in "The Mario Carnival" isn't really Mario, but [[spoiler: Waluigi in a Power Of Rejection-created disguise.]] ]]
Think about it. Unless NegativeContinuity is in play, Mario should have still been in the chair he was strapped to at the end of Mario SAW, due to Waluigi (who would not only be the only one to know how to let him out of the chair, but also where his torture chambers were located) leaving Mario alone by going through a portal created by The Power Of Rejection.

Given he was in his final form, it would make sense that his newfound powers would include shapeshifting, specifically an elaborate form of it which could steal memories from whatever Waluigi shapeshifts into. This allows him to be a nearly perfect doppëlganger for Mario, with a noticeable flaw, which was Mario's uncharacteristic normality during The Mario Carnival.

The next episode, according to this WMG, would begin directly after the events of The Mario Carnival. After returning home, Waluigi!Mario reveals his secret plot to infiltrate Peach's Castle and murder Peach so he can become ruler. [=SMG4=] escapes, while Meggy is shot with The Power Of Rejection. Mario then returns to Meggy in an uncontrollable mess, and the rest… let's wait till next Saturday shall we?
* Jossed. "Mario The Scam Artist" [[spoiler: is a StealthPrequel AND StealthSequel that explains how Mario got out of the chair from "Mario SAW" and ends with Mario about to go to Bob's Carnival, which has just opened, setting up "The Mario Carnival".]]

[[WMG: Meggy and Tari will be seriously [[TheWorfEffect Worfed]] in a fight with Waluigi.]]
Meggy is the resident ActionGirl and arguably the most badass character in the [=SMG4=] Universe.
Meanwhile, give the recent reveal of Tari's cyborg-ness, she could have a StoryBreakerPower or two that we don't know about yet.
* [[spoiler:Semi-confirmed for Meggy. She didn't end up fighting Waluigi, instead TakingTheBullet for Mario and being turned into a T-Pose zombie at the end of The Mario Convention.]]

[[WMG: The conclusion to the Waluigi Saga will be an [[Film/AvengersInfinityWar Infinity War]] parody.]]
Notice how the characters in the channel banner are now fading?
--> Meggy: "[[TearJerker M… M… Mario… I don't feel so good…]]"
* Jossed. Besides, it's already been done in "The Super Dudes".

[[WMG: Tari is one of Waluigi's troops.]]
Her name is derived from Atari, which makes her "A Tari". There was also the fact that Waluigi was seen watching Tari while she was in the arcade. Her shy personality may be nothing more than a way to prevent her getting '''too''' friendly with the cast and possibly betraying Waluigi while on her espionage mission.
* Jossed, [[spoiler: in "War of the Fat Italians 2018", Tari is ultimately the one who frees everyone from the T-Pose Virus.]]

[[WMG: [=SMG4=] is secretly in cahoots with Nintendo, and the Waluigi Saga is secretly build up to Waluigi's inclusion in Super Smash Bros Ultimate.]]
Sure this sounds crazy, but it's definitely possible. Considering their response to fan games, you'd think Nintendo will be on [=SMG4=]'s ass by now, but they're not. There has to be something someone is hiding.
* lol Jossed but that would've been amazing if it was.

[[WMG: The Final Chapter of the Waluigi Arc]]
The "War of the Fat Italians 2018" will be the epic conclusion of the Waluigi Saga.
* Confirmed. War of the Fat Italians 2018 will be The GrandFinale of the arc.

[[WMG: In the finale of the Arc, Wario will share the role of TheHero with Mario and talk Waluigi down.]]
Given that Wario [[spoiler:left to search for Waluigi]], he's probably going to become relevant again later and perhaps even be the force that brings Waluigi down by openly accepting him.
* [[spoiler:Confirmed.]]

[[WMG: Waluigi will lose because he Main/FailedASpotCheck.]]
So far, only [[spoiler: Meggy, Luigi, Master Hand, and]] a crowd consisting of various Mushroom Kingdom citizens, [[VideoGame/AnimalCrossingNewLeaf Isabelle,]] Baldi, and [[VideoGame/{{Splatoon}} an Octoling girl]][[note]]Implied, because she only makes a brief appearance at the beginning.[[/note]] are confirmed as being under Waluigi's control. 351* Confirmed. [[spoiler:Since Waluigi didn't take Tari under his control, she is ultimately able to use her controller that was enhanced from the last episode to make [=SMG4=] destroy his scepter, weakening his power greatly and freeing the T-Pose Zombies.]]

[[WMG: The reason why [=SMG3=] has a Doctor's certificate (in-universe)]]

[[WMG: Tari will [[FaceHeelTurn become the main villain of the next arc]].]]
Something will happen to her cybernetics, turning her evil and Mario has to go on a quest to find someone to fix her cybernetics and return Tari to normal.
* Jossed, the next arc is about Bob's rapping career.

[[WMG: The Tari Arc will have her compete in a sort of tournament.]]
At the end of Mario and the Bob Mansion we found out that [[spoiler:Tari isn’t the only video game cyborg.]] With this in mind, it is possible that the next arc will have Tari compete in a sort of tournament against [[spoiler:other Tari-like gamers]] with the aid of the main [=SMG4=] cast. Another point to make here is at the end of the Waluigi Arc: [[spoiler:She is seen playing a video game of some sort in the end, which may be one of the games involved with said possible tournament.]]
* And then there’s, as of this edit, the ending of The Mario Concert, [[spoiler:where we saw another video game cyborg’s arm, and the owner playing what sounds like a racing game, which is possibly another game in this tournament.]]
* And another one: at the beginning of War On Smash Bros Ultimate, [[spoiler:a video game cyborg in White is seen playing what sounds like an Action RPG, yet another possible game in this possible tournament.]]
%% someone please put [[WebOriginal/MetaRunner]] tag down here when the page is made, thankies
* Semi-confirmed: Tari ''is'' competing in a tournament, just not in the [=SMG4verse=]. An AlternateUniverse version of her will be starring in her own original series titled ''WebAnimation/MetaRunner''.

[[WMG: Bob has a DarkAndTroubledPast that explains his attitude, behavior and general outlook on life]]
* Technically not my own theory, but one I saw in a comment on "The Mario Concert", but I believe it has merit. According to WordOfGod, Bob is 500 years old, and when he was first introduced he was a hobo living in the sewers underneath Ganondorf's castle. Most notably, however, he was ''nowhere'' near the manipulative, self-obsessed JerkAss he is now. It is quite possible that, once upon a time, Bob was in fact a lot like Boopkins; a naive but friendly NiceGuy who just wanted friends and was generally a much happier person. Given how old he is, its quite possible that Bob was put into many, ''many'' situations where he himself was used, abused, manipulated and lied to by people he genuinely thought were his friends, and those false friends then went on to fame and fortune while he was left to rot in his sewer. Not only would this explain his belief about how the only two people in the world are "assholes and pushovers", but it also could explain why he hates Boopkins so much: Boopkins reminds him of how he used to be before literal centuries of betrayal and cynicism turned him into what he is today, and he can't stand being reminded of that.
** From the Genesis Arc, young Bob was a nerd who got picked on by Wario and Waluigi. Some words (and swords) from a young [[VideoGame/GrandTheftAutoSanAndreas Big Smoke]] shaped him into how he is today. Confirmed.

[[WMG: There will be an arc where Master Hand starts a reality show.]]
And it will be a parody of ''Series/{{Survivor}}''.

[[WMG: Third arc series?]]
[=SMG4=] has created another arc starting with Mario and the Anime Challenge.
* Confirmed. And this time, it's Peach's turn to undergo a FaceHeelTurn.

[[WMG: Peach will become a Hitler expy in the Anime Arc.]]
According to Saiko, anime characters are considered illegal. What's the logical conclusion of this? Peach sets up concentration camps to systematically exterminate anime characters, leading to Mario and Peach coming to blows, because even Mario wouldn't condone institutionalized racism or anything remotely resembling Nazism.
* The ban indeed makes Peach ANaziByAnyOtherName, but she doesn't do much beyond that, [[spoiler:and she even lifts the ban of her own volition]].

[[WMG: Peach's next move in her quest to destroy anime.]]
We all know that Peach has become a villain in this new arc, banning anime and deporting anime characters from the Mushroom Kingdom. Since we all know that she can have an angry temperament like in [=SM64=] Valentine's Day: GET THE GIRL!, I believe that she will be so absorbed in her quest to be rid of all anime that she will ''declare war on Japan'', where Bob, Fishy Boopkins, Saiko and [=SMG4=] are in right now!
* Jossed. Peach doesn't do anything about Japan [[spoiler: and probably won't, since she unbanned anime.]]

[[WMG: Meggy will be the BigDamnHero of the banned anime arc]]
Even though she's terrified of anime, it's still the life of one of her friends[[note]]Boopkins[[/note]], while another one of her friends[[note]]Saiko[[/note]] is being deported because of the ban. It would be a great ironic twist if she could save the very thing she's afraid of. And since she studied law, she could negotiate to get the ban lifted, or otherwise find a loophole.
* Semi-confirmed? Meggy is the BigDamnHero in the way of [[spoiler: donating her own ink to Axol so he is able to put his plan of convincing Peach to unban anime into action.]]
* Confirmed again when [[spoiler: in the second half, Meggy nearly dies pulling a HeroicSacrifice to power up Axol's Inkweaver back again.]]

[[WMG: Peach will be KilledOffForReal at the end of the Anime Arc.]]
She's been OutOfFocus as of late thanks to Meggy, Saiko, and Tari. Towards the end, she has Mario, Boopkins, [=SMG4=], and Bob arrested for aiding and abetting Saiko's escape, charging them with high treason and planning a public execution, also revealing she has sent all anime characters in the Mushroom Kingdom to concentration camps to be processed and exterminated. The execution is interrupted when Meggy, Tari, Wario, Waluigi, [=SMG3=], and Bowser burst in, and start an uprising against the Mushroom Kingdom government.

Any chances of Peach being redeemed are lost when she launches nukes at Japan, causing Mario to go berserk. The two engage in a fistfight that is played dead-serious, ending with Mario at Peach's mercy, who is about to finish Mario off, going as far as to say she always hated him, and merely used his stupidity to justify committing increasing the Mushroom Kingdom's military budget, before revealing her ultimate goal: the extermination of all races she deems undesirable (including anime, any race serving under Bowser, all races in Inkopolis, and cyborgs like Tari). But before the final blow is struck, a sword pierces through Peach, and Fishy Boopkins reveals himself, saying "[[Manga/FistOfTheNorthStar Omae wa mo shinderu]]", to which Peach responds "Nani?!", before doubling over. Near-death, Peach begs for mercy, but Mario says "[[WesternAnimation/TheTransformersTheMovie You, who are without mercy, now plead for it?! I thought you were made of sterner stuff!]]" And he takes a Fire Flower, and burns Peach to death (it isn't shown onscreen, but Boopkins' reaction implies Mario killed her in the slowest, most excrutiating way possible).

With Peach dead, the Mushroom Kingdom falls into anarchy until Meggy introduces democracy to them. This sets up the next video, "Mario's Election Day!".
* Absolutely ''jossed''. [[spoiler: Thanks to Fishy Boopkins and new character Axol, Peach is enlightened to the awesomeness of anime and unbans it.]] Someone ''else'' gets KilledOffForReal though, [[spoiler: Desti]].

[[WMG: The Splatfest will be interrupted, tying it into the Anime Arc somehow.]]
Meggy's been going on about the Splatfest since "The Anime Challenge", and it seems like the event is going to be important. Especially since Mario and Tari have been dragged into it with her, leaving almost none of the core cast within the Mushroom Kingdom itself.

How will it tie in? Maybe the tournament could be interrupted - by the A.S.S (or just Chris and Swagmaster) to get at Mario for smuggling anime, or to capture/destroy all the Inklings and Octolings as they're mistaken for anime; by Francis and the cartel to retrieve Mario and get him to pay back his debt - heck, even Saiko and the gang could return to drag Mario over to Japan.

Or maybe Mario, after seeing the kingdom in ruins, his friends and brother forced to leave, and Meggy [[SkewedPriorities putting the comp over putting everything right]] snaps and heads back to the Mushroom Kingdom, dragging Tari with him [[CurbStompBattle after stomping Meggy, Desti and their teams into the ground.]]
* Splatfest ''did'' get interrupted in a way that ties in with the anime arc, but it happened [[spoiler: after the ban was lifted when an unknown individual kidnapped Meggy]].

[[WMG: How the 3M Collab will tie into the Anime Arc]]
The ban has been lifted, but Meggy still has unfinished business at Splatfest. "War of the Fat Italians 2018" concluded the Waluigi Arc, so perhaps this collab will do the same for the Anime Arc. It will be shown on a giant screen as Meggy's and Desti's teams duke it out, acting as a "halftime show". Unless the 3M Collab is supposed to be its own video…
* Jossed. The collab has no connection with the Anime Arc.

[[WMG: [[spoiler: Axol didn't really kidnap Meggy]].]]
In the video "The Splatfest Incident", we discovered that [[spoiler: Meggy was kidnapped, and the claw marks and Inkling ink spread around Meggy's room had signs pointing to Axol, causing a divide between the [=SMG4=] Crew. However, I believe there's another candidate of her captor: Francis, the guy who ran the Anime Cartel during the last 6 episodes. It would make sense considering how rabid he and the Anime Cartel can be considering "Mario's Lemonade Stand" and "Mario Saves Anime". Francis orders Meggy and Axol to be kidnapped after discovering that the latter's Ink Weaver is discovered to have more power to its ability to bring anime characters to life from the former's quality of ink. Axol, who's last seen flying off on Inkweaver!Goku, gets blasted from the sky by the Cartel and kidnapped offscreen, then they head to Inkopolis to kidnap Meggy before the Splatfest begins.]]
* Confirmed. [[spoiler: He was seen captured at the beginning and end of "The Inkling Disappearances", by the same person who kidnapped Meggy, Desti and the other Inklings.]]

[[WMG: [[spoiler:Meggy's kidnapper isn't Axol ''or'' anyone from the Anime Cartel]].]]
Judging by [[spoiler:Meggy's reaction to her kidnapper]], she doesn't exhibit the surprise she would have if it was [[spoiler:Axol or Francis]]. There are several possibilities in this case:
* [[IneffectualSympatheticVillain Dr. Eggman]] giving himself [[TookALevelInBadass a few levels in evil badass]] by [[spoiler:kidnapping Meggy]] to experiment on her after seeing the effects [[spoiler:Inkling ink had on Axol's Inkweaver]] so he can create his own army of super-robots using similar means, presumably to either TakeOverTheWorld or win Peach's hand in marriage now that she enjoys anime like he does. Or he'll just [[UnwillingRoboticization make a cyborg out of]] [[spoiler:the [[OneManArmy one-woman army]] that is Meggy]] and call it a day.
* [[BigBad SMG3]] getting tired of his new talk show job and deciding to make a grand return to the villainy circuit by [[spoiler:spoiling Splatfest for one of his archenemies and his friends]], with potential similar goals to the above stated character.
* [[BewareTheSillyOnes Jeeves]], after the ruination of both his milk farm and cafe, deciding to resort to underhanded means and [[spoiler:kidnapping Inklings like Meggy]] so he can open a new business: [[spoiler:bottling and selling Inkling ink, much like [[SpongebobSquarepantsS2E19JellyfishHunterTheFryCookGames Mr. Krabs did with jellyfish]]]], planting [[spoiler:anime]] there to frame Axol. The Anime Cartel look up to Axol now, so it makes sense that Jeeves would want to frame someone associated with his rivals. He's also probably still angry at Meggy for hurting his feelings, in contrast with the Cartel working with her to save anime regardless. Can come with a nice dose of MyGodWhatHaveIDone if Mario recognizes his actions technically resulted in this.
* Peach, whose ArcVillain status is not over yet. Mario and Co.'s plan to make her unban anime has [[GoneHorriblyRight worked too well]], and now she loves anime so much that she's willing to [[spoiler:kidnap Meggy ''and'' Axol, since it's established that both are needed to create anime characters,]] in order to spread the awesomeness of anime [[WellIntentionedExtremist for everyone to enjoy]]. Another idea is that she ''faked'' her HeelFaceTurn (not unlike Bob faking his kindness in the Rapper Bob arc), and now wants all forms of anime executed--starting with [[spoiler:the one whose ink makes its creation possible]].
** Not only does she want all forms of anime executed, she wants world domination and all races she deems undesirable wiped out, starting with the races serving under Bowser. This is why Bowser has been absent as of late: the Koopa Kingdom has been under siege by Mushroom Kingdom military forces, soon to be bolstered by conscripted anime characters [[spoiler:created by Axol's brush]].
* [[ChekhovsGag Hideo Kojima]], needing a last-minute playtester for ''VideoGame/DeathStranding'' and not caring much for ethics. If this is the case, he may have originally meant to [[spoiler:kidnap Tari, but decided that Meggy was perfectly fine for his purposes]].
* [[TurnedAgainstTheirMasters The anime replicas themselves]]. Thanks to the enhancements due to being created by Inkling Ink, they have, for whatever reason, chosen to rebel against Axol. They took control of his Ink Weaver and are now kidnapping Inklings in order to use their ink to create more of their kind.
** [[spoiler: All of these are jossed. The Anime Cartel ''is'' behind the kidnapping of Meggy and the Inklings, harvesting their ink to power up the Inkweaver to create more anime replicas.]]

[[WMG: The reason Meggy looked radically different after Anime Island was demolished]]
* She had all the ink drained out of her, and ink, in this universe, is a [[{{Magitek}} magical substance]] that differentiates Inklings from humans, rather than being entirely different species. And thus, upon losing her ink, she reverted back to a normal human.
** Alternatively, Shaggy, upon rescuing Meggy's unconscious body from the ruins, fused her and Desti's dead body, which may explain the battle scar on her eye.
** Another explanation is that Meggy was technically dead at that time (as when we last see her, she was buried under rubble and might have been crushed) and so Shaggy in a last-ditch effort to save her, uses the remaining power of Inkweaver to save her life but as a consequence, Meggy transformed into a human.
[[WMG: The fourth arc will be [[ADayInTheLimelight all about Tari]].]]
[=SMG4=] has been pushing for Tari a lot lately. Not only is she getting [[WebAnimation/MetaRunner her own show]] in a month (as of this being written), but she was one of the BigDamnHeroes who stopped Waluigi's reign of terror, she's one of the few people Mario's not a jerk to on a regular basis, and most recently, her suspicions of the Anime Cartel turn out to be 100% true. The next big step is to give Tari her own arc around the time her show is ready to be released, or even ''during'' the show, for promotional reasons. And yes, I'm aware of the earlier entries on this page about what Tari's arc would be about, but I have good feelings about this one. Feel free to post your own ideas here if you wish. Either way, it's time we got some Tari love.
* Jossed. [[spoiler:It's the Website/YouTube arc with the main focus on [=SMG3=], though Tari is involved due to Belle Fontiere]].

[[WMG: Meggy will be unable to follow through on her promise to Desti.]]
In that she won't win the Splatfest.

The reason is simple: Meggy will be disqualified, seeing as how she's no longer an Inkling, and Splatfest rules state that at least one team member has to be an Inkling or Octoling. Therefore, Meggy's team will not only be disqualified, but Meggy will be banned from entering any competitions in Inkopolis.

Not only that, she'll be run out of Inkopolis by violent xenophobes who have gained a lot of power thanks to Francis' mass kidnappings, wanting Inkopolis to become an isolationist city-state completely independent of Mushroom Kingdom politics.

Now homeless, Meggy will move in with the Mario Bros.
* Jossed. [[spoiler: As the movie reveals, non-Inklings can compete and Meggy wins the competition.]] However, she does move out of Inkopolis later on.

[[WMG: The Killer Ink Leader's father is the Mayor of Inkopolis]]

* Meggy will return to her Inkling form at the end of the episode. If losing her ink [[HumanityEnsues made her human]], then coming into contact with it could be what will turn her back. But judging by the care, planning and attention the creators have put to her new human design and new scenarios dealing with it, chances are it will stick for a good long while.
* One of the other main characters will somehow be turned into an Inkling. Since each team needs at least one Inkling or Octoling, the only other solution around this rule would be to add a new Inkling/Octoling character, which kinda defeats the purpose of Meggy's CharacterDevelopment. An episode beforehand could have Meggy seeking help from a magician to be turned back, only for said magician to mess up the spell and one of her friends to be transformed instead. That character will then be forced to deal with being an Inkling the same way Meggy is with being human (for instance, Fishy Boopkins' aquatic lifestyle will be ruined because water would now kill him, or Bob would use his ink to commit graffiti crimes).
* Worst case/least likely scenario: A calamity befalls Inkopolis that turns all of the Inklings and Octolings into humans, driving their race into extinction and leaving them having to deal with their new bodies.
* Slightly-less-but-still-terrible scenario: Meggy is disqualified from the Splatfest due to now being human, and none of her team are Inklings or Octolings. She's then run out of Inkopolis by Inklings who want to lynch her for becoming the very thing they hate: anime.
* Another bad scenario: the human Meggy is allowed to compete in the Splatfest, but something major happens during the competition and it gets canceled before she can win it (as with the Anime Arc; the mass kidnapping took place during that Splatfest).
* Meggy ''[[ThrowTheDogABone finally]]'' wins the competition and keeps the promise she made… but suffers an existential crisis as the idea of winning the Splatfest was the only thing keeping her going and now she's lost her purpose. Mario and friends remind her that they are there for her and she decides to stay in the Mushroom Kingdom permanently to be with them.
** The last theory seems closest to confirmed. Meggy has [[spoiler: won the competition and]] moved into the Mushroom Kingdom. An identity crisis seems possible down the road.

[[WMG: The next arc will be LighterAndSofter in comparison to the Anime Arc]]
Waluigi Arc (the first one) was the most notable turn for DarkerAndEdgier in [=SMG4=]'s videos. Meanwhile, Rapper Bob Arc is considerably more tame, even if it also involves serious matters about betrayal.

Perhaps, it could be a pattern, with the odd number arcs being the most serious, while the even number arcs are softer in comparison.
* Jossed. [[spoiler:Sorry but the Website/YouTube Arc had a very dark theme. Possibly even darker than then Anime Arc. How? The main cast gets erased from existence for a petty reason.]]

[[WMG: ''Every major/once-major character'' will eventually have an Arc based around them or the events of an Arc affecting them somehow]]
Yes. Even [[TheBusCameBack characters that don't take an expressive role in the bloopers since a while]].

[[WMG: One of the next big Arcs will be a SpaceOpera-esque adventure.]]
Considering outer space has already been shown in [=SMG4=]'s universe, maybe it wouldn't be that [[StealthPun otherworldy]] to guess there's going to be a comically serious, wide adventure crossing the stars.

Possibilities for this arc (feel free to add your ideas):
* Some of [[ChekhovsGun the elements presented in the previous bloopers involving space]] can come back and be vital for the plot's arc. (for example, the fact memes are the planet's CosmicKeystone).
* TheTeam will be forced to make a crusade through outer space since their planet will be at risk from an intergalactic empire, either because they'll drain their planet's memes or they'll make an actual invasion. The main goal will stop it no matter what.
* The villain (whenever it's an original character or a character with heavy AdaptationPersonalityChange) will be a GalacticConqueror, leader of said empire. They can be either as irredeemably evil as the latest arc's main villains, or a KnightTemplar.
** Otherwise, they might even be a levelheaded, reasonable WellIntentionedExtremist with a backstory that justifies their present self.
** If they follow the SevenDeadlySins motif present on the other Arc's antagonists, they might represent Pride (especially [[CardCarryingVillain if they're proud of being evil]] or [[KnightTemplar believe in an unreasonable level that they're doing good for the entire galaxy]]). Otherwise, they might be Despair.
* The Teletubby planet from "Where the Wild Teletubbies are" will come back, maybe as a gag or even as a major role. Same for Starfox/Starlink Battle For Atlas.
* In case the arc introduces new characters along with the ArcVillain and their army:
** If a new character that becomes a major aid for the Glitchy Gang through the arc gets introduced, the expectations of them becoming a mainstay in the cast could be Subverted, but not necessarily with a morale-shaking, gut-wrenching death like the Anime Arc. Likely, more with a HeroicSacrifice of sorts.
** Said new ally could be a renowned space figure (or a self-proclaimed one) with a grudge against the empire that is forced to join forces with the Glitchy Gang, willingly [[TeethClenchedTeamwork or not]].
* With the Website/YouTube Arc's WholePlotReference to Avengers, this potential arc could take clues from Star Wars, Star Trek or other [[Space Opera]]'s of this kind.
* RuleOfFunny will make the Glitchy Gang point out the stereotypical SpaceOpera elements if they don't subvert them.

[[WMG: The Splatfest Arc will lead to one of the characters accidentally getting turned into an Inkling while Meggy attempts to do the same, but only temporarily.]]

Let's say Mario gets Inklinged. After getting converted, he partakes in the Splatfest and somehow wins Meggy's team, but begins to lose sanity due to a new consciousness arising in the Meggy portion of his DNA, (as Meggy gave an orange ink sample as a DNA source for her Inkling form to the wizard) so he returns to the wizard and gets turned back into a human. However, the Inkling DNA separated into a clone of Meggy, which could turn evil…
* Jossed.

[[WMG: Francis is either still alive or will be brought back to life]]
Either one of these will tie in with the Splatfest arc.

A) It will be revealed that Meggy's ink combined with the explosion had transformed Francis into an Inkling in the same way Meggy was turned human. Now Francis uses his ink powers to pursue his anime fantasies - and is seeking out Inkopolis for an infinite ink supply. Once he arrives there, he will take over the city and convince the other Inklings to turn against humans, starting with Meggy.

B) Surviving members of the anime mafia will plot to resurrect Francis through a cult-like ritual in which they must sacrifice an Inkling. Whoever gets turned into an Inkling will be kidnapped for the scheme. Towards the end of the story, Desti will be summoned from the dead and reincarnated in a new form (possibly ending up like Meggy).

[[WMG: War of the Fat Italians 2019 will be the beginning of a new arc.]]
Last year's WOTFI concluded the Waluigi arc, so what if this year's WOTFI ''starts'' one?
* Jossed this WOTFI but a possibility in future WOTFIs (2020-Beyond).

[[WMG: In addition to her hypothetical banishment from Inkopolis, Meggy will also be kicked out of Smash]]
Because the game needs an Inkling and Meggy is no longer one. However, she later regains acceptance by dressing up as and filling in for [[VideoGame/PuyoPuyo Arle Nadja]] (assuming Arle becomes a fighter in the future).

[[WMG: Based on all the events listed above…]]
Meggy could be on her way to becoming the series' [[IronWoobie biggest Woobie]]. She may even be consumed by her grief/frustration and become the WoobieDestroyerOfWorlds (not unlike Waluigi in his arc), only to be horrified of what she has become, ultimately running away so that none of her friends are harmed by her actions. Deeply concerned, the gang searches for Meggy and eventually finds her living among nature. They beg her to come home but she is [[LossOfIdentity unsure of who she is anymore]] - until Desti shows up as her SpiritAdvisor. Her confidence restored, Meggy agrees to rejoin her friends.

[[WMG: The penguin murderer from Little Lost Penguin will reappear at some point.]]
He escapes from prison and takes revenge on the cast, possibly starting an arc.

[[WMG: There'll be an antagonist with abandonment issues ala [[WesternAnimation/StevenUniverseTheMovie Spinel]].]]
* Kinda already happened with Waluigi and his power of rejection.

[[WMG: [[VideoGame/TheLegendOfZeldaMajorasMask Majora's Mask]] is [=SMG4=]'s new KnightOfCerebus.]]
Wherever it plays a major role, things get pretty dark. Maybe he'll be Season 10's new BigBad…

[[WMG: What's in the mystery box?]]

[[WMG: The next arc won't focus on any characters, but be an ''Film/AvengersInfinityWar''/''[[Film/AvengersEndgame Endgame]]''-style all-out war.]]
The leader of Team Killer Ink from ''Meggy's Destiny'', furious that she lost the last Splatfest to a team of humans, rallies her team to usurp whoever is in charge of Inkopolis, and she names herself the new leader. Using propaganda, she inflames the anti-human sentiment in Inkopolis, and has all remaining humans in the city killed. Striking an alliance with DJ Octavio, Leader assembles an army of Inklings and Octarians, leading them in cheers of [[ANaziByAnyOtherName "SIEG HEIL!"]], and her plan is revealed: invade the Mushroom Kingdom and destroy all humans, for they created anime, allowed Francis and the Anime Cartel to kidnap Inklings, and are inferior to Inklings in general.

The invasion is played completely serious, giving a WarIsHell vibe. Multiple recurring characters such as Jeeves, Old Man Hobo, Swagmaster, all of the recolored Marios, and many other background characters are KilledOffForReal. Eventually, Peach goes into hiding, and the arc reaches its darkest point when Leader kills Axol, destroys Inkweaver, sends humans and anime to death camps, reforms the A.S.S., and turns her sight to Japan, the source of all anime. Making it worse is Leader backstabbing Octavio, revealing that she intends to destroy all non-Inkling races.

Mario and friends fall in with an Inkling resistance group made up of Inksonas from Website/YouTube, who oppose Leader's genocidal machinations.

In the climax of the arc, all seems lost, when portals start appearing. Tari's ''Meta Runner'' counterpart is first, followed by the rest of MD-5. Soon, characters from other popular web cartoons start coming through the portals, including ''WebAnimation/HomestarRunner'', ''WebAnimation/{{RWBY}}'', ''WebAnimation/RedVsBlue'', ''WebAnimation/KizunaAI'', among many others I probably don't know of. In the ensuing battle, Leader personally faces off with Meggy, and has her at her mercy, only to get curbstomped when Ruby's Silver Eyes randomly activate. Meggy gets off the last shot on Leader as she pitifully begs for mercy.

After a funeral for Axol, the arc ends with Inkopolis AWorldHalfFull since roughly 60% of the Inkling population blindly devoted themselves to Leader's cause. Peach comes out of hiding and takes the opportunity to annex Inkopolis under a brutal military dictatorship to ensure nothing like this ever happens again, until Fishy Boopkins reminds her she's doing to Inkopolis what Leader did to the Mushroom Kingdom. She relents, and instead decides to hold open elections, setting up a BreatherEpisode where three candidates are running for president of Inkopolis: Marie (who seeks to repair relations with the international community), a self-righteous MoralGuardian Inkling (who wants to put an end to the Turf Wars and send all of the Inklings to school), and Bob (who has no actual platform; he just wants free stuff). Said episode involves all three sides engaging in typical election antics, such as mud-slinging, blackmail, and attempting to rig the vote by adding fake ballots to the box (Bob gets caught doing the latter by Mr. Monitor, and, uh, nothing good happens).
* Sounds like bad fanfiction.
* And it's jossed. The next arc focuses on [=SMG3=] and how he plans to use the [=YouTube=] Remote.

[[WMG: A new arc with Susan Wojcicki as the villain is coming soon]]

It seems that [=SMG4=] has been starting a bit of a storyline with Susan constantly bullying Mario, and the episode “The Internet Graveyard” explaining what happened to Axol after the events of “Mario Gets Woke”. It is also worth noting that after “The Internet Graveyard” was released, [=SMG4=] updated the channel banner to have all of the characters except for Mario look corrupted, with Mario having a confused look on his face.
** Jossed: [=SMG3=] is the villain

[[WMG: This supposed "[=YouTube=] Arc" will end up with some actual real-life announcements.]]
Considering how [=YouTube=] has been getting more… [[ScrewedByTheLawyers controlling and limiting with their copyrighting policies and demonetizations]] and how a majority of recent episodes are taking potshots at the website, it wouldn't feel too out of place for Glitch Productions to announce their very own streaming platform a la Creator/RoosterTeeth and make a big transfer from [=YouTube=] to there. That, or something else
* Semi-confirmed. They do make some announcement at the arc's finale but it's just what shows they have to offer, nothing about a streaming platform.

[[WMG: [=SMG3's=] gang (excluding Demon Hunter Shroomy) will turn on their leader.]]
As an example of EveryoneHasStandards.
** Confirmed, including Demon Hunter Shroomy.

[[WMG: The [=YouTube=] remote will get destroyed at the end of the [=YouTube=] Arc.]]
So nobody will use it to hurt anyone (like Greg) again.
* Jossed, it's still intact when the arc's over.

[[WMG: How the [=YouTube=] Arc will end.]]
Given that [=SMG3=] is too dangerous to leave to his own devices, I devised at least three scenarios:
** He will be KilledOffForReal. How, I cannot say, but it will have to do with a severe case of HoistByHisOwnPetard. [=SMG3=] could potentially use the remote to wipe out his ArchEnemy, but it would do a uno reversal on him and he would be the one deleted and likely erased from existence. As such, the remote would either go back to Susan's control, or the remote could also be destroyed thereby making [=SMG3=]'s return even less likely. He would be continuing the trend of an ArcVillain dying at the end of their arc started by Francis.
** He would be sentenced to the Land of Dead Memes. It would be the ultimate punch in the face to be stranded in a place where he is essentially forgotten.
*** [[spoiler: Confirmed, as of WOFTI 2020. Though he ''is'' trying to make the most of it by having a podcast with the locals…]]
** Like the above, [=SMG3=] compels his team to deflect, and he has a slight realization that his lust for revenge had gone too far. He then hands the remote back to Susan and leaves to atone. Alternatively, he could intentionally delete himself feeling that he is beyond redemption.
*** The general idea ([=SMG3=] pulling a HeelFaceTurn) has been confirmed, just not in this arc. [[spoiler:By the end of the Genesis Arc, he’s dropped all animosity with the heroes and even helps with defeating Niles both times.]]
* The most likely scenario is that it will end with WOTFI 2020, just as the Waluigi Arc ended with WOTFI 2018.
** Confirmed.

[[WMG: [[TheStarscream Demon Hunter Shroomy will betray [=SMG3=] and use the Website/YouTube Remote for his own plans]].]]
After revealing that he stole the remote for [=SMG3=] and his gang, Shroomy says that he "didn't do it for [them]". While he also says that he did it to mess up Susan's plans, the quote implies that he doesn't care much about [=SMG3=] and Co. I guess that, during a final confrontation between the gangs, Shroomy will steal the remote from [=SMG3=], planning to use it to [[FinalSolution kill every demon.]]

[[WMG: Axol will be the SpannerInTheWorks]]
Oddly, [=SMG3=] did not seem to consider hiring an EvilCounterpart of Axol despite him also being apart of [=SMG4=]'s gang. Due to him having the actual [=YouTube=] Remote, Axol could theoretically recreate it with Inkweaver and use it against his remote.
* And when he does, he'll bring back the main cast and also bring characters from other well-known webseries such as ''WebAnimation/RWBY'', ''WebAnimation/HomestarRunner'', ''WebAnimation/RedVsBlue'', ''WebAnimation/BattleForDreamIsland'', ''WebAnimation/DragonShortZ'', ''WebAnimation/HazbinHotel'', among others, to stop [=SMG3=] a la the final battle in ''Film/AvengersEndgame''.
* It is very possible that this will happen. While on the surface, it looks like since Inkweaver was destroyed, there’s no way for anything to happen with it ever again, remember that ''Axol created it.'' This means that he knows the most about it. His knowledge obviously includes how to create another one, so he can easily do just that.
* Jossed, Axol was basically a foot-note in the arc.

[[WMG: Alternatively, Waluigi will be the SpannerInTheWorks.]]
[=SMG3=] will say Waluigi has no place in his new order, which ends up being a poor choice of words that causes Waluigi to re-embrace the Power of Rejection.

[[WMG: Potential characters who will [[HijackedByGanon hijack [=SMG3's=] thunder]].]]
* Demon Hunter Shroomy: As mentioned above, [[FinalSolution he'd steal the remote and use it to bring about the extinction of all demons.]]
* Belle: She could steal the remote to allow an [=SMG4=] version of Lucks to TakeOverTheWorld
* The leader of Killer Ink Squad from ''Meggy's Destiny'': She would lead an army of Inklings for [=SMG3=] to overthrow Peach, then steal the remote to destroy all humans and turn everyone else into Inklings.
* Waluigi: [=SMG3=] could accidentally piss him off by trying to delete him, causing Waluigi to re-embrace the Power of Rejection and setting all of his character development in the Waluigi Arc back to square one, much to [=SMG3's=] horror and Wario's exasperation. He'll then use the remote to try to get himself into Smash.
* Peach: She'd reveal she's been playing a very, very long game, and will get her hands on the remote to not only destroy all anime, but all races she deems "undesirable", starting with the Koopas.
* Jeeves: Tired of being disrespected, he'd steal the remote to make everyone love him.
* Francis: It would be revealed he survived the destruction of Anime Island and, now horribly disfigured, steals the remote to create an army of waifus to take over the world.
* Bowser: He'd steal the remote and state [[VideoGame/CrashMindOverMutant "I used to run this operation! And it's time I did again!"]], kidnapping Peach like he used to, taking over the Mushroom Kingdom and… actually making it a better place; of course, since Mario has a one-track mind, he'll defeat Bowser like normal, take the remote, bring back all his friends, and [=SMG3=] will complain about the anti-climatic end before [=SMG4=] graphically snaps his neck.
* [[WebVideo/SuperMarioLogan Jeffy]]: In an unexpected crossover, Jeffy will find a way into the [=SMG4=] universe using one of Cody's inventions, and steal the remote to destroy all green beans and make SML!Mario richer than Goodman; this would cause [=SMG3=] to team up with Goodman to destroy both universes and recreate them in their own image… until they butt heads as to what they want their worlds to be ([=SMG3=] wants a world where he's loved, while Goodman wants a dystopia where the working class is livestock for him to harvest testicles and nipples, possibly [[EvenEvilHasStandards horrifying [[=SMG3=]] who states that villain or not, he would never use people to harvest their body parts]]), which [=SMG4=]!Mario will take advantage of.

[[WMG: [=SMG3=] will get a bit too big for his britches and attempt to [[DidYouJustPunchOutCthulhu delete Susan]].]]
[[spoiler: [=SMG3=] has the remote. He's successfully [[RetGone deleted the Glitchy Gang from the timeline]]. He now has achieved his goal of becoming the new proprietor of [=SMG4=]'s channel. But considering it's [=SMG3=] that's now the current ArcVillain, I feel like he's gonna aim higher. As stated before, he has the freaking [=YouTube=] Remote. Something tells me that he'll start getting a little too full of himself and attack the [=YouTube=] HQ again, this time making an attempt at deleting Susan Wojcicki and becoming the new CEO of the company.]]
* Half-confirmed? [[spoiler: [=SMG3=] actually went after her and deleted her BEFORE deleting the Glitchy Gang, as he knew she'd be able to [[SpannerInTheWorks disrupt his plans]].]]

[[WMG: Boopkins isn't dead.]]
[[spoiler: Boopkins didn't get reduced to dust like the rest of the gang. He was sucked into a black hole with his old self.]] They might return to help Mario set things right.
* Confirmed. [[spoiler:He was last seen in the Internet Graveyard with all his friends. They then escape and assist in defeating [=SMG3=] for once]].

[[WMG: Mario will use his other friends to revert the present back to how it was.]]
[[spoiler: As [=SMG3=] only made some of Mario’s friends never meet him, and how if Mario were find his main friends and get them to revert the present back to how it was, they would all be sucked in a black hole, so Mario will make a resistance comprised of friends from many video’s, to save Mario’s main friends. Once they all come back, [=SMG4=] and [=SMG3=] have a fight to the death in WOTFI.]]

[[WMG: The fates of those on [=SMG3's=] crew.]]
* Jub Jub will live, but will get grounded by his dad for aiding an omnicidal maniac
* Rob will either live or be killed
* Melony will get smashed
* Whimpu will be killed by Saiko
* The Weegee Doll will be ripped to shreds
* Belle will either survive and have an episode detailing her past with Tari, or Tari will have an OutOfCharacterMoment and kill Belle in the most family-unfriendly way she can
* Shroomy is most-likely the FinalBoss, as mentioned above, and will either go back to normal, or be KilledOffForReal
* [=SMG3=] himself will definitely be KilledOffForReal
** Mostly jossed. [[spoiler: The main crew ended up making peace with their doppelgangers while [=SMG3=] himself was banished to the Internet Graveyard and subsequently attacked (possibly killed) by Ugandan Knuckles.]]

[[WMG:Francis was the Anti-Axol.]]

[[WMG:War of the Fat Italians 2020 is [=SMG3=]'s plan B]]
In the event of his plan to [[spoiler:erase [=SMG4=] and his gang (sans Mario) from existence getting reversed]] and/or his anti-cast turning on him.

[[WMG: Meggy will gain a permanent human voice]]
As demonstrated in "Mario Gets【Woke】", the [=YouTube=] Remote has a nifty function that allows its user to change the "language option" of anyone pointed by the remote. Perhaps by the end of the ''[=YouTube=] Arc, Meggy might change her voice to permanently sound like an actual human girl.
* [[spoiler: CONFIRMED! The voice actress in particular is none other than Creator/LizzieFreeman.]]

[[WMG: The BigDamnHero of the [=YouTube=] Arc will be one of the following candidates…]]
* Mario: The loss of his friends [[ItsPersonal will motivate him to]] [[LetsGetDangerous get serious]].
* Axol: Not only was he left out of the process of being erased, Inkweaver can either be fixed or completely remade from scratch.
** But without Bob or Boopkins, Axol would never have moved to the Mushroom Kingdom in the first place. As they're the ones who caused the anime ban when Bob destroyed Peach's Castle.
* Peach: You may have noticed a running trend of villains from previous arcs coming out as heroes to save the day. Waluigi taught Bob about the importance of friends. Bob helped the heroes defeat Francis. So, perhaps Peach, the villain of the first part of the Anime Arc, will put a stop to [=SMG3=]'s plan somehow.
* Bowser: Not only was he also left out of the deletion process, but because of three other things:
** He's one of Mario's better friends, so he might be less than hesitant to help him
** [[TheDragon He used to be SMG3's lackey]] before his HeelFaceTurn, which would make for an interesting confrontation.
** During the arc, [[ButtMonkey he's become a bit of a punching bag]] to Anti-Shroomy, so he might [[TheDogBitesBack want some revenge…]]
* Kawaiishima: Though a one-off character, Kawaiishima has helped Mario out of an incident involving the Remote in "Mario Gets【Woke】", and is the only being powerful enough to match Susan and most likely [=SMG3=] by himself. It wouldn't be too out there to let him back into the fold at the climax.

* All jossed. [[spoiler: Turns out it was '''''SUSAN WAPOWSHKI''''' herself, who was sent to the internet graveyard after [=SMG3=] erased her. She gives Mario a window in space-time to communicate with her and the Glitchy Gang, who thankfully are still alive, releases Mario from the pause he suffered from, and sends him to get [=SMG3=]'s phone, which they need to reclaim his channel, reupload the original videos and restore their presence in the [=SMG4=] timeline.]]

[[WMG: The [=YouTube=] Remote will be destroyed during War of the Fat Italians 2020's rap battle portion.]]
We all know War of the Fat Italians 2020 will be the finale of this upcoming arc, but how this final episode will play out is up in the air. However, a possible outcome will be that not only will [=SMG4=] and the crew be restored in some way or another, before the rap battle, but much like War of the Fat Italians 2018 with the Waluigi Arc, the rap battle will be involved with the story. But in this case, the rap battle will have both Glitchy Gang and Snitchy Squad be saying their lines as they steal the remote from one another, and just as the battle ends, the remote will be destroyed, thus removing [=SMG3=]'s tool for salvaging the plan he has concocted from the start.
* Given how [=SMG3=] has been treating the Snitchy Squad, they'll most likely turn on him and help the Glitchy Gang get the remote.
** Jossed.

[[WMG: Mario will become a main antagonist of a future arc]]
since arcs are about something a characters likes (waluigi likes being in smash, Bob likes his money and raps, boopkins likes his anime and [=SMG4=] loves his channel) Mario might become a arc villain cause if we get a arc about spaghetti, He'll betray all his friends but redeems at the finale just like in every arc (besides Francis and [=SMG3=]).

[[WMG: Possible arcs that would happen]]
Every arc involves something from the Character's interests so there are some arcs that might happen

* The Smash Bros arc (Antagonist: Master hand and/or Tabuu)
* The Meme arc (Antagonist:Article 13)
* the Reddit arc (Antagonist: The reddit mascot)
* the Spaghetti arc (Antagonist: Mario)
* the SML arc (if they crossover with WebVideo/SuperMarioLogan) (Antagonist: Goodman or Nancy)
* the Money arc (Antagonist: Wario)
* the Sonic arc (Antagonist: Eggman)
* the World War arc (Antagonist: Killer Ink Squad's leader)
* The Video Game arc (Antagonist: Belle or the [=GameStop=] mascot)
* The Ultimate Arc (Antagonists: Galeem and Dharkon)

* The [[Creator/DingoPictures Dingo Arc]] (Antagonist: Wabuu)
* {{WesternAnimation/Villainous|CartoonNetwork}} Arc (Antagonist: Black Hat)

[[WMG: The [[WebVideo/TheAngryVideoGameNerd Angry Video Game Nerd]] will become a [[AdaptationalVillainy villain]] in the series]]
* Technically, he did try to downvote the hotel, but got attacked by the army of Nostalgia Critics.

[[WMG: If the AVGN becomes evil, then Creator/LJNToys will get AdaptationalHeroism, somehow.]]
Perhaps they'll be a company that, as the inverse of its infamous reputation in real life, actually makes/publishes good games (or at least, at worst, bordering onto SoOkayItsAverage), but are being unfairly criticized by AVGN due to minor flaws in their games.

Since we saw Frankie back in an episode, [=SMG3=] would come back and say sorry to [=SMG4=] for taking over his channel

[[WMG: "War Of The Simps" and "Mario's Mask Of Madness" are part of a new arc.]]

[[WMG: Meggy will potentially be a villain in the future arc…]]
* As shown in the ending of ''Mario vs. Youtubers'', Meggy is frustrated after looking for jobs and not getting them, and can’t move on still because of an essential crisis. She also has been having violent outbursts over her friends and other people, If Meggy does not find help… then unfortunately she will go to the last resort and [[FaceHeelTurn turn to villainy.]]
* Given that the Website/YouTube Arc was not announced until midway through it - we could already be in said arc. Currently - this seems to be Meggy's StartOfDarkness - future episodes may have her appear as a villain after TheReveal.
* Alternatively, Meggy won't be the villain, but a physical manifestation of her fears and insecurities, like a Dark Meggy, will.
** Perhaps this "Dark Meggy"'s debut would be in an episode framed an awful lot like the early Franchise/SilentHill games.
** Another alternative would be that she would get hijacked by whatever dark force is spying on Meggy and she ends up getting possessed, only ''seeming'' to be the villain at first glance.
*** [[spoiler: Confirmed. At least in Sunset Paradise, where Meggy got brainwashed.]]

[[WMG: WebVideo/PewDiePie is the key to [=SMG3=]'s escape from the Internet Graveyard]]
When last we saw Pewds, he was taken by an Oof Button after saying the N word in Susan's presence. We know the Oof Buttons' job is to take its unfortunate victims to the Internet Graveyard, where [=SMG3=] currently is. So, he'll probably use the top [=YouTuber=] to help him escape the place he's been trapped in for six months now and wreak havoc once more.
** Jossed. [=SMG3=] can leave the Internet Graveyard whenever he wants, notably to attend [=SMG4's=] party. Plus he likes being the Lord of the Internet Graveyard to wreck revenge.

[[WMG: Antasma is the nightmare that’s haunting Meggy.]]
At the end of Mario vs. [=YouTubers=], a black cloud appeared when Meggy went through an existential crisis at her house before Bob interrupted it with an after party.

Some users on Reddit have noted that Antasma has the ability to feed on nightmares and, coincidentally, he has very similar yellow eyes to the manifestation.

If Meggy continues on her existential downward spiral, Antasma will eventually regain his form and become the main villain of the next arc.
* Jossed. [[spoiler: It's her internal Shadow self.]]

This [=WMGer=] has a suspicion that near the end of the arc, Meggy and friends will face this new Shadow Meggy, and though she most certainly won't get a Persona herself, this will lead to some form of acceptance of her flaws, perhaps even find something she's good at, which leads us to…]]
* Jossed… sorta, she does fight her shadow self in WebAnimation/SunsetParadise(again, sorta), but her friends don't help her with it.

Which involves characters finding their purpose in life. [=SMG3=], after years of being one-upped by [=SMG4=], found his purpose helping the memes of the Internet Graveyard. Meggy is currently on the road to self-discovery during her vacation in Port Aurora. As for Waluigi, it seems for now his purpose is selling tacos, at least until he finally gets a Smash invite. The former and latter went into villainy until finding solace, and it seems like Meggy will go down that road as well, similar to what happens to neglected memes as stated in "Perfectly Balanced".

[[WMG: Meggy's parents will show up in the Mushroom Kingdom when [[TheBusCameBack Meggy returns after Sunset Paradise]] ]]

Meggy's parents might hear of her antics in Port Aurora from the news, and come to see her. Antics ensue as Meggy initially tries to hide the fact that she's now human..[[PaperThinDisguise badly…]]
* Once the truth comes out, [[CruelTwistEnding Meggy's parents don't accept her and try to kill her for becoming human]], revealing that since moving, Inkopolis has been taken over by Leader from the Killer Ink Squad, who now plans to conquer the world and destroy all non-Inkling races (even Octarians wouldn't be spared for their constant theft of the Great Zap Fish), for in her twisted mind, anyone who can't turn into a squid is inferior to the "perfection" of the Inklings, thus starting a new arc that ends with Meggy being presented with a SadisticChoice: destroy Inkopolis and risk having all nations turn their guns on the Mushroom Kingdom for using nuclear weapons (or whatever wacky WMD E. Gadd comes up with), or spare Inkopolis and allow Leader's war of extermination to continue until civilization destroys itself.
** Hey, she would have just had to deal with Sunset Paradise's madness. [[EvenEvilHasStandards Give her a break.]]
** There's also Meggy's [[TakeAThirdOption third option]] - defeat the Team Killer Ink Leader by starting a revolt with other former Inklings. This would also show that humans are no worse than Inklings to the population - possibly nullifying propaganda fed to them by the Killer Ink government. Bonus points if the Team Killer Ink leader gets [[YouAreWhatYouHate turned into a human themselves]] at the end.
** As for Meggy's parents, there are a few scenarios of how that'll be resolved. They may still disown her [[FantasticRacism for being human]], at which point she declares Mario and her other friends her FamilyOfChoice. Or a Spletzer family member is revealed to be an Inkling-human hybrid (possibly Cap'n Cuttlefish, who could be Meggy's grandfather or great uncle), bringing unity between them.

[[WMG: The above will be an Arc that correlates with the release of Splatoon 3]]
The game isn't scheduled for release until 2022. That should be enough time to complete the Sunset Paradise Arc.

[[WMG: A future episode will involve the search for [[spoiler: [=SMG5=] ]].]]
[[spoiler:After the death of [=SMG1=] and [=SMG2=]]], [=SMG3=] and [=SMG4=] will look for answers for questions such as "what is an avatar?". One way they may do this is to look for more Supermarioglitchys.
** Unlikely. They do find out that Avatars keep their world alive and their forms intact.

** Jossed. 1 and 2's avatar was the character of a different game.

[[WMG: [[spoiler:[=SMG0=] is the sole reason why memes become corrupted]].]]
[[spoiler:The only body part we see of [=SMG0=] is his arm, which seems to match the same textures as the corrupted memes. Furthermore, we know that [=SMG0=] is some sort of computer virus made manifest in the multiverse. I like to think that with these two scant, but important connections, I think that [=SMG0=] is responsible for the process that corrupts dead memes. He also has some powerful abilities that seem to treat the universe like it's one great big computer world a la the Matrix, but that's another theory. The connection Zero has to the Corrupted Memes is really evident.]]
* [[spoiler: Jossed, Zero was just a victim of the God-Box, so maybe it has something to do with the corruption]]

[[WMG:Shroomy being disowned by his Uncle Doom is foreshadowing the potential conflict between Meggy and her parents]]
If Meggy's situation ends up the same way, at least Shroomy will have someone to relate to.
* Except while Uncle Doom pretty much forgot Shroomy, Meggy's parents will be so disgusted by the idea of being related to a human, they'll relentlessly pursue her with the intention of killing her.

[[WMG: Shadow Meggy will be ReformedButNotTamed]]
At some point during ''WebAnimation/SunsetParadise'', Meggy will overcome her negative emotions and defeat her shadow counterpart. Ultimately, Shadow Meggy will accept her defeat, but it won't be the last time we see of her.

Come the possible Splatoon 3 Arc, Meggy may have to defeat the next BigBad by channeling the PowerOfHate and summoning her shadow self. That, or the aforementioned rejection from her parents may lead to her negativity (and Shadow Meggy) returning. It becomes clear that she (or the others, depending on the situation) will need help from someone to control her inner darkness. Someone who has had their own experience driving power from rejection and self-worth. That's right, '''Waluigi!''' For the {{Jerkass}} he is, he has consoled and even helped some of the main characters ([[Recap/SMG4StupidMarioTennisAces Boopkins]] and [[Recap/SMG4Christmas2018TheMostImportantThing Bob]]) before, so it's not unreasonable to think he could step up to the plate again.

** Another way a potential arc from the Splatoon 3 episode is that Meggy defeats the [[DiscOneFinalBoss Killer Ink Leader]] at the end of such a blooper by using Shadow Meggy to create her own SuperpoweredEvilSide. However, [[WithGreatPowerComesGreatInsanity Shadow Meggy's influence over this form corrupts Meggy]] and warps her into a new arc villain. This could also build up into Sunset Paradise Season 2 - once Meggy's SuperpoweredEvilSide is defeated at the end of the arc, Meggy may want to return to Port Aurora to recover from the experience of being a villain.

[[WMG: Mario will end up returning to his original personality during the Genesis Arc]]
As shown during the events of [[spoiler:[=SMG4=] Origins, Mario used to have his traditional, AllLovingHero personality, until [=SGM4=]'s Guardian Pod caused him to shift into his current, crazy personality.]]
During the events of the ten year anniversary special, Mario [[spoiler: ends up being partially corrupted by [=SMG0=], something that is shown to still affect him during the events of [=SMG4=] Goes Insane.]] While it is currently unknown how [[spoiler: [=SMG0=] corruption]] affects Mario beyond the one moment in [=SMG4=] Goes Insane, it's entirely possible that it will become important given that [[spoiler: [=SMG0=] is free]] and Mario plays a large role in the world.
I believe that is might be possible that Mario will return to his original personality due to an attempt to stop [[spoiler: [=SMG0=]'s corruption]] that will result in Mario losing [[spoiler: the influence of [=SMG4=]'s Guardian Pod]], due to the fact both could potentially be seen as viruses and seem to come from a source that is at least similar.
Obviously, this change wouldn't stick, due to how important Mario is to the channel, but it would be interesting to see Mario, the most insane character on the show, suddenly become TheStraightMan in comparison to the wackiness of all the other characters.
* Jossed. Mario's still stupid, but at least [=SMG4=] and [=SMG3=] [[CharacterDevelopment antagonize each other much less]] [[FireForgedFriends from trying to save him]]. Happens in the Lawsuit Arc though.

[[WMG: There will eventually be a WebVideo/PoohsAdventures arc.]]
The theme will be likely about the difference between good and weird web crossovers.

[[WMG: Meggy becomes a key player in the Genesis Arc final battle.]]
* Everyone in the 10th Anniversary shows they are capable of fighting (ie Tari) or received powers (ie Melony) and had at least face Zero. This would mean that Meggy wouldn't bring much after a normal vacation. However, it seems that [[spoiler: a) Zero is going to unseal his true body and b) Benedict is going to unseal his true body]], so Meggy might have some experience in fighting Zero.
** Confirmed? She is the lead singer of 2021's Rap and part of the girl trio that freed Mario but the spotlight falls on Melony. At least Meggy can help Melony after the battle due to a much more earlier experience.

[[WMG: There will be a episode where one of the series' characters caused to 2019 Notre Dame fire damage.]]

[[WMG: Meggy's parents aren't evil, just too good.]]
The current theory is that Meggy's parents are bad or at least anti-human. However, it may be possible that Meggy's parents are actually good people and Meggy finds that bad.

It may be possible that Meggy's parents are fashion designers (considering Inklings like fashion and Splat Battles), and when Meggy was born, they thought that she could grow up to be a model. Sure, taking a photo of her sad face after she splatted the house is cruel, but she also looks adorable in it. It could be that either they want her to be a model or they thought that Meggy wasn't doing well with her Splat Battles that they set up her future life as a model.

This might be why Meggy lives outside of Inkopolis, wanting to prove that she can have a life that does more that look pretty. While she has won the Splatfest, however, living a life after that proved more difficult as she can't find a job even with her friends help. In fact, most of the jobs she tried has some sort of element where she gets to do something, and in the job where she literally sits around (online influencer), she put a lot of effort into making an article. This might also be why Shadow Meggy starts to appear, the part of her that thinks it might have been better to live an unfulfilling life rather than get involved in anything.

This might be why Meggy is afraid of her parents, not because they are bad people but because she would have to admit she was wrong to try and live her life her own way.

[[WMG: Someone will [[HijackedByGanon hijack [=SMG0=]]] as the main antagonist of Super Meme Genesis.]]
Possible culprits:
* Jeeves: Tired of being disrespected, he somehow harnesses [=SMG0=]'s power to get everyone to take him seriously.
* Whisk: The finale for ''Sunset Paradise'' will reveal that Whisk was forced to flee to Port Aurora during Peach's anime ban, and so, she uses [=SMG0=]'s power in a bid to destroy not only Peach, but the entirety of Inkopolis for their anime hatred. She'll fail (possibly by learning that EvilIsNotAToy [[HoistByHisOwnPetard the hard way]]), but it will end on a cliffhanger where the leader of Killer Ink Squad uses Whisk's attack to whip the Inklings into an AbsoluteXenophobe frenzy, foreshadowing a future arc where Inkopolis declares war on all non-Inkling life.
* Ztar
* The Monster: Both creatures look similar to each other. Both have [[RedEyesTakeWarning red eyes]], are known for causing heavy amounts of chaos and destruction, and both are relatively obscured in shadow with the visible parts of their body being blue. They could be the [[https://supermarioglitchy4.fandom.com/wiki/The_Monster_(character)?file=The+Monster+2.JPG same or]] [[https://supermarioglitchy4.fandom.com/wiki/SMG0?file=ZeroRevealed.png very similar entities]] for all we know.
** Jossed. In actuality, Zero hijacks ''another'' villain in the following arc, that being the Box Club Leader.

[[WMG: The first Super Meme Genesis episode after Meggy's return will be a StylisticSuck RecapEpisode]]
As of right now, Meggy's vacation is just about over and she's on her way back to the [=SMG4=] crew, and right at a very important point of the Arc, too. Meggy's missed A LOT during her time at Port Aurora, so [=SMG4=] might take an entire episode to explain to Meggy what happened between her departure to and her return from Port Aurora. And to keep with the more comedic side of things, it'll be a condensed, StylisticSuck version of all that happened, much like how the Anime Arc was recapped in Mario's Magical TV. By the end, Meggy will probably be confused over all that happened.

* Kinda jossed, in ''She's Back!'', we do briefly get to see a scene of [=SMG4=] try to tell Meggy about the Genesis Arc, only for him to unintentionally freak Meggy out because he was acting too unhinged.

[[WMG: The next [=SMG4=] episode after Sunset Paradise will have Meggy reunite with her parents.]]
Either this episode ends up as a SugarWiki/HeartwarmingMoment, or it leads into the next arc.
* Jossed, Meggy's parents are still a mystery.

[[WMG: In the next arc, Team Killer Ink's leader will reveal that [[LoveMakesYouCrazy she caused a world war just because she wants someone to love her]].]]
Team Killer Ink's leader just wants to be like Meggy, amazing, cool, respected for her other talents, people to look out for her that is ''not'' her team, maybe even become [[ButchLesbian Meggy's girlfriend]].
* Dude, what is your problem?!
** Many things, plus I can imagine that when Team Killer Ink's Leader reveals this, Meggy accepts, making Leader become flustered in the most funny and adorable VillainousBreakdown ever.

[[WMG: The Genesis Arc will lead up to the Bloopers’ Series Finale.]]
To accommodate for potentially tougher copyright policies, [=SMG4=] would use the conclusion of the Genesis Arc to wrap up his adventures with Mario, Luigi, Bowser, the Mushroom Kingdom’s citizens, and so on.

This would see a potential reboot where [=SMG3=] and [=SMG4=] will get significant redesigns. Some of the survivors for the reboot would include Tari, Meggy, Saiko, Melony and Axol.

* Unlikely. Considering he just made the Meggy streams, the "Mario gaming series", not to mention they also just recently made a new intro for the series, plus the channel is their main source of income.
* Jossed. It could definitely pass off as a GrandFinale, but it’s not.

[[WMG: Axol was turned into Zero's avatar.]]
Axol is seemingly fine and is shown to have had a UnexplainedRecovery from being braindead, but it's pretty clear that something isn't quite right about post-Guardian-Pod Axol…

[[WMG: [[WesternAnimation/VillainousCartoonNetwork Black Hat]] is responsible for corrupting Zero.]]
* Jossed, it's [[ArtifactOfDoom the God-Box]].

[[WMG: The final battle against Zero will be an Endgame-style BigDamnHeroes moment.]]
The Genesis Arc, an arc months in the making, appears to be coming to a head in the next episode, the final battle drawing near. And as we've witnessed with the previous appearances of this arc, Zero seems just too damn powerful. Not even some of the more powerful ones of the main group will be able to take him on. However, I believe that since this is the single biggest story arc of the entirety of [=SMG4=], we'll be going into a final battle where literally EVERY SINGLE CHARACTER THAT HAS EVER APPEARED IN THE [=SMG4=] UNIVERSE WILL GATHER TO FIGHT HIM. That means the Bloopersville citizens, that means the Internet Graveyard inhabitants, that means every single character Luke has ever conceived for the series will gather in what appears to be a scene plucked straight out of Avengers: Endgame, just to take out [=SMG0=].
* Jossed. It was only the main cast who fought Zero. Though it would've been so awesome if this did happen.

[[WMG: Melony will be the first person in the crew to become suspicious of Axol's strange behavior.]]
Considering how close they are.

[[WMG: The next episode of Super Meme Genesis will be a BlackComedy episode where the cast try to exorcise Zero from Axol.]]

[[WMG: The final episode of Super Meme Genesis will be War of the Fat Italians 2021]]
There seems to be a pattern for about half these arcs, with Waluigi and [=SMG3=]'s arcs being 2018 and 2020 respectively. Considering how long this arc's been going, as well as the current timeframe, it wouldn't surprise me that WOTFI 2021 was dedicated to battling [=SMG0=].
* Confirmed

[[WMG: The final battle with Zero will be inspired by [[Film/TheRiseOfSkywalker Rey and Ben's battle against Sidious]].]]
* Jossed.

[[WMG: Zero will be [[HeelFaceTurn redeemed in the end]].]]
Just like Waluigi and Bob at the end of their respective arcs, something (unsure what it could be) will make Zero realize that killing Mario and destroying the universe really won't fix what happened to him (whatever it was).
** [[spoiler:It possible, considering that "The Final Piece" implies that his universe was destroyed. One of characters (Probably, Melony or Axol. Also, [[PsychoPsychologist SMG3]] may help) would show him that it not worth destroying other universe and he would stay in [=SMG4=]'s.]]
* Confirmed… at least, in Revelations.

[[WMG: The Genesis Arc will have a SequelHook at the end for another arc.]]
* Aside from Melony saying she'll continue Axol's work, jossed.

[[WMG: Zero is only the DiscOneFinalBoss, and something else is the true BigBad of the Genesis arc.]]
* And it's gonna be [[WesternAnimation/VillainousCartoonNetwork Black Hat]].
* Jossed.

[[WMG: Next episode would have this plot:]]
* Zero brainwash everyone so he could become avatar to satisfy his InferioritySuperiorityComplex
* Mario, [=SMG4=] and [=SMG3=] are stuck in Zero's [=USB=]… but latter 2 is fine as it looks like SugarBowl. But Mario getting SmartBall and understanding that something is not right…
* Axol… well, Axol just stuck in his own mind and tries to return control over his body.
** If Mario's "Okay", this plot is jossed as it becomes evident the [=USB=] is a torture machine very quickly.
** And the episodes after that are jossed since it seems like destroying everything is easier than brainwashing.

[[WMG: Zero is the virus from "Da Glitch"]]

* Both Zero and The Virus seem to be able to warp characters into other dimensions. While Mario, [=SMG4=] and [=SMG3=] were warped into the Backrooms by Zero, The Virus was able to warp Toad into the real world.

* Both of them can cause what appear to be glitches - toilets that Zero was using as portals give off 1s and 0s from the bowl, and The Virus causes all sorts of visual fuckery while [=SMG4=]'s room is under its influence.

[[WMG: The next episode will have the rest of the cast searching fruitlessly for the Marios and Axol.]]
The failure of this search ends up inspiring a character to [[TookALevelInBadass take a level in badass.]]
* Jossed for the episode following "Mario And The Backrooms", which was the latest episode when this WMG was first added. It's about Mario, [=SMG4=] and [=SMG3=] exploring the latter's Guardian Pod.

[[WMG: Melony will fight [=Ax0l=].]]
Though she may have to be ''forced to'' considering she is not only going to have to fight [=SMG0=], but her '''''best friend/lover''''' as well.
* Confirmed. Their fights are some of the most tearjerking moments of "The Final Piece". It gets worse in "War Of The Fat Italians 2021."

[[WMG: Zero wants to absorb every universe's Meme Energy.]]
In "MARIOS OKAY", we learn some more things about the Meme Life Cycle, namely the fact that memes are the life energy of the universes, and that [=SMG=]s have control over them, and that a universe's [=SMG=] pair can perform a collaborative effort to manipulate it. My theory is that Zero was once a normal [=SMG=] who was tasked with protecting his universe's Avatar, possibly the stick figure we see in his flashback. However, at some point, his time as an [=SMG=] eventually got him a bit DrunkWithPower, so he killed his partner and his universe's Avatar to gain all the power over memes for himself. But when he found out his own universe wasn't enough, he decided to go to other universes to siphon their meme energy, doing so with Spudnick's universe and is currently attempting to do with the universe we know. Zero has [[WithGreatPowerComesGreatInsanity clearly gone mad from meme power]], and it could explain how Corrupted Dead Memes are made, as well as what happened in his own universe prior to Spudnick and Mario's respective universes.
* Semi-confirmed. He intends to absorb the memes protected by [=SMG4=] and [=SMG3=] to create a new universe.

[[WMG: WOTFI 2021 is [=SMG4=] vs [=SMG3=].]]
Last WOTFI put a spin on things by having it be [=SMG4=]'s gang vs [=SMG3=]'s gang. A different spin, that being a change of fighting Fat Italians to [=SMG4=] and [=SMG3=], could happen this year. Plus, Mario is in no condition to be doing a WOTFI.
* Jossed. Everyone partakes in the challenges. And Mario is fighting against them!

[[WMG: The episode before WOTFI 2021 will be about the rest of the [=SMG4=] crew trying to get out of the bunker.]]
Last we heard of the rest of the crew, they were locked up in the bunker looking for a way out. Considering how much danger Mario and the [=SMG=] Quartet are in right now, something tells me that they'll try to break out (Perhaps without even knowing what's going on) and will succeed in escaping [[DownerEnding only for Zero to fully complete the conversion of Axol's body into his own.]]
* Jossed. They got out of the bunker off screen.

[[WMG: Axol will die at the end of the Genesis Arc.]]
The recent trailer for WOTFI 2021 shows [=SMG0=] corrupting and mutating Axol’s body into his own likeness, which would leave Axol with severe life-threatening injuries either way.

Should his death actually happen, there are one of two outcomes that may happen.

* 1. The [=SMG=]s and/or the Glitchy Gang unleash a devastating blow that defeats [=SMG0=] once and for all, but Axol gets completely destroyed alongside his corrupted puppeteer in the process.
* 2. [=SMG0=] is beaten without destroying Axol, but the latter succumbs to the life-threatening wounds and severe decay that he got beforehand.

* [[spoiler: [[TearJerker Sadly, confirmed.]] It's Melony that delivers Outcome 1.]]

[[WMG: Related to two [=WMG=]s ago. This Saturday will be a [[SynchronousEpisodes Syncrhounous Episode]].]]
Showing what the [=SMG4=] Crew were doing during the events of Marios Okay.
Jossed.

[[WMG: Related to two [=WMG=]s ago, Axol will survive.]]
* Yeah, his body probably will be fixed when Zero leaves him.
* What helps is that he's an axolotl, a species that in real life regrows limbs and internal organs. But the initial damage sustained still might render him [[PutOnTheBus unable to hang out]] with the rest of the gang for many episodes.
* [[spoiler: Sadly jossed, may he rest in peace.]]

[[WMG: Alternatively, It would be like the reverse of Detsi's death where Melony would be the one to die.]]
* 1. Melony would try to have an IKnowYoureInThereSomewhereFight against Axol to try and BeatTheCurseOutOfHim… only for [[DoNotTauntCthulhu [=SMG0=]]] to CurbStomp her and shatter her to pieces like what happens to a normal watermelon when it's smashed.
* 2. [=SMG0=] would rip the [[VideoGame/TheLegendOfZeldaMajorasMask Deity Mask]] off of Melony, causing her to revert back into a normal melon. He would then proceed to do a dance with the now powerless Melony before slamming her into the ground in a fashion similar to Sid's melon dance in [[WesternAnimation/IceAge Ice Age]] after beating the Dodos.
* Regardless on which is the case, [[TearJerker/Supermarioglitchy4sSuperMario64Bloopers considering the last time a major character was]] KilledOffForReal, this would have a character-changing [[HereWeGoAgain psychological effect on Axol.]]
* [[spoiler: Jossed. Axol dies]].

[[WMG: WOTFI 2021 will take place in Zero's mind torture simulation.]]
[=SMG0=]'s MindRape realm was introduced in "MARIOS OKAY" and is shown to be a trippy nightmare realm that almost drove Mario, [=SMG4=] and [=SMG3=] to insanity. With Zero [[spoiler: now bringing about the apocalypse and bringing devastation to everything in "The Final Piece", I believe that he will trap everyone in the mind torture simulation, and use WOTFI to drive them completely insane.]]
* Jossed. It takes place inside the portal Zero created.

[[WMG: [=SMG4=] and [=SMG3=] will no longer be enemies at the end of the Genesis Arc.]]
After [=SMG0=]'s possible defeat at the end of WOTFI 2021, [=SMG3=] will call a somewhat permanent truce between the [=SMG4=] gang and himself. They'll also go their own separate ways as [=SMG4=] will be with his own friends and [=SMG3=] will continue to be the lord/caretaker at the Internet Graveyard for the rest of his life, never to bother each other again.
* Confirmed. They part ways peacefully at the end of the arc.

[[WMG: Axol [[spoiler:will be brought BackFromTheDead in the future]].]]
* As much as we all want this to happen, I don't think it's likely. [[spoiler: Much like Desti's death did for Meggy, it's inevitable that Melony will undergo CharacterDevelopment from Axol's death]]. But hey, maybe I'll be wrong and it could tie into Greg's resurrection and/or an upcoming Halloween plot.
** Even if this does happen, Axol may not even be the same. He could be brought back, but will have no memory of who he was or any of his friends, which would lead to an arc where they try to restore his memories.
* There could be an episode where Melony (or Mario) attempts to use the Ink Weaver to [[spoiler: draw Axol back into existence, but it fails miserably and they're left with a brainless clone of him]].
* Maybe Jossed, since characters who were KilledOffForReal in this series will never return from the dead (Just as Luke said Desti will never return).
** But Luke didn't say Axol will never return.
** He actually did. In the teaser for ''WebAnimation/MurderDrones'', he says that "we said goodbye to our friend close to us".
*** That's all he said, he didn't say it was permanamt.

[[WMG: The next arc will tie into Sunset Paradise Season 2.]]
* Jossed, it's a sequel to the Genesis Arc.

[[WMG: Melony's Destiny]]
It's clear that after the events of WOTFI 2021 ([[spoiler: especially Axol's HeroicSacrifice]]), Melony will try to continue his legacy as the world's greatest manga artist. It will begin with an arc where she and the rest of the [=SMG4=] gang work together to finish his Two Piece manga. From there, she will essentially evolve into Axol's replacement, dressing like him and adopting a similar personality with some of [[SleepyHead her own quirks]]. She will also get a pet axolotl - and guess what name she decides to give it.

[[WMG: [=SMG3=] will return to be a villain.]]
* His boss (from "Two Evil Friends"), probably, will be very angry, when he finds that his DragonInChief isn't a villain anymore. He would give to [=SMG3=] a huge ReasonWhyYouSuckSpeech and threaten to [[YouHaveOutlivedYourUsefulness kill him]]. After that [=SMG3=] would try to become a villain again under Boss' orders.
** If Boss is defeated, [=SMG3=] may go back to his life in the Internet Graveyard.
*** If he would survive his defeat, Boss probably will become a new BigBad
** Alternatively, Boss (Or one of his minions.) will destroy the Internet Graveyard and depressed [=SMG3=] will choose to become villain again.
[[WMG:Zero lives.]]
Zero used Axol's body as a host. Killing the puppet won't kill the puppeteer. Plus, we know his body is still in his Guardian Pod, so he definetely has a place to return to.
* James Bailey ([=SMG3=]'s voice actor) stated on a Twitch stream that [[spoiler:"Zero's story is not over.", so this may be likely.]]
* [[spoiler: Confirmed.]]

[[WMG: The game Zero came from was none other than [[WesternAnimation/WreckItRalph TurboTime]].]]
* Jossed, it's a game called Mage.

[[WMG: Zero's origins are something mundane.]]
Such as [[SurprisinglyRealisticOutcome data corruption from a young Luke pulling a USB out without ejecting it first]].
* Jossed, turns out: He's a corrupted fusion of a Meme Guardian and a Bootleg Meme Guardian, with the bootleg controlling everything and seeking to restore their original universe that was accidentally destroyed… so, not exactly mundane.

[[WMG: Future LighterAndSofter Story Arcs will lack major [[CharacterDeath character Deaths]].]]

[[WMG: Some newer characters will replace Axol.]]
* I personally feel they will make Melony the new Axol, going by the ending of WOTFI 2021. Unless they also decide to give Axol a [[TheDitz Ditzy]] BackupTwin named [[PunnyName Lotl]] (perhaps created using the Ink Weaver).

[[WMG: The next StoryArc will feature [[WesternAnimation/VillainousCartoonNetwork Black Hat]] as the main villain.]]
* Jossed, I don't think there's a gmod model for Black Hat either.
** Ahem: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1juoQAST-Kk

[[WMG: Old man Hobo will get killed off in a future StoryArc.]]
* With Desti, I was horrified. With Greg, I sympathized. With Axol, I cried. But this? This WMG could make even the strongest man or woman [[ManlyTears bawl]] if it came true.

[[WMG: There will be a sequel to the "What If…?" episode]]
It will contain the following:
* What if Axol was saved?
* What if Meggy lost Splat Fest?
* What if [=SMG4=] Mario met [[WebVideo/SuperMarioLogan Jeffy]]?
* What if Waluigi got into Smash?
* What if [=SMG0=] '''''WON?'''''
* What if Greg was revived?

[[WMG: [[WhamEpisode "To Become A God"]] is the start of a new arc.]]
And adding on to that…
* Confirmed. The general plot of the episode leads into the Revelations Arc.

[[WMG: An even bigger threat than Zero will show up.]]
[[WordOfGod Luke said]] at the beginning of "Mario has a BBQ, but he's not invited" that while the Genesis arc is over, there's still more to the story. Perhaps someone who is even more dangerous than Zero will show up to carry on his trend of killing avatars. Meaning the [=SMG4=] gang (plus [=SMG3=]) will be forced to engage in a war for the sake of everything.
* And that bigger threat will be [[WesternAnimation/VillainousCartoonNetwork Black Hat]].
* Confirmed (Not for Black Hat, seriously, what is your malfunction?) with the God-Box

[[WMG: Desti, Greg and Axol will [[AllDeathsFinal never]] come back from the dead till the final episode of the series.]]

[[WMG: [=SMG1=] and [=SMG2=] used to be arch-enemies like [=SMG4=] and [=SMG3=] were.]]
Maybe in the old universe, [=SMG1=] used to be evil like [=SMG3=] while [=SMG2=] and Spudnick were the good guys. But after a while, [=SMG1=] redeemed and realized his role as a Super Meme Guardian.

[[WMG: If [=SMG4=] ever does do a crossover with SML, there will be a plot point about the villain/enemies/problems are disproportionate to each other]]
An example could be them comparing the worst (Cannon) threat for both worlds, with SML's being the Giant meteorite/giant shrimp crashing into Earth; That event would be dwarfed to the villain such as [=SMG0=] or Waluigi's rejection.
* Extremely unlikely, as SML isn't allowed to be affiliated with Nintendo characters anymore.

[[WMG: Melony will use Inkweaver in one episode.]]
As an indirect example of PassingTheTorch, Melony will someday wield Axol's Inkweaver to carry on his legacy.

[[WMG: There will be a [[{{Crossover}} crossover]] with WebAnimation/MurderDrones at some point.]]
Be it an "If Mario Was In… Murder Drones" or a Murder/Worker Drone character being introduced. Or both.
* Kinda confirmed, with the sponsor at the start of "If Mario Was In… Squid Game" has N interacting with Mario and Bob in his usual AxCrazy ways.

[[WMG: Future [[StoryArc Story Arcs]] will always be DarkerAndEdgier.]]
* Yeah, there will be more major character deaths and it will be more depressing and serious.

[[WMG: Zero is responsible for [[WesternAnimation/{{Pibby}} The Static]]]]
The new universe he was creating? All a plot make the jump from the internet to television and continue his chaos there. He partly succeeded and somehow managed to escape to that new universe… but his defeat had reduced him to an ambiguous glitchy mass. Worse yet, Pibby and [=BunBun=] could well end up in the same situation as Melony and Axol respectively in order to stop this terror.
* Jossed, he just wanted to recreate his old universe… though maybe the God-Box made the darkness…

[[WMG: The reason why Zero possessed Axol]]
It might've been one of the reasons mentioned below.
* Reason 1: Zero needed a temporary body to possess until he would've gotten Mario.
* Reason 2: Zero did it to punish Axol for getting in the former's way while he was trying to capture Mario.
[[TakeAThirdOption Or it might've been both.]]
Or maybe, Zero is just an absolute sadist who knew that the gang would believe killing Axol would kill Zero, and thus intentionally possessed him to mentally break them so they’re not prepared when he returns.

[[WMG: The next arc will involve our heroes [[{{RealWorldEpisode}} having an epic adventure in the real world]].]]
* Curiously, that sorta happened in the Revelations movie, though they didn't explore much.

[[WMG: What the sixth arc may be about.]]
* As mentioned above, an adventure in the real world.
* The return of [=SMG0=] and Fierce Deity Melony's awakening.
** Confirmed with Revelations!
* Mario turning evil and [[FaceHeelTurn betraying his friends]] all just to get [[TrademarkFavoriteFood a whole lotsa spaghetti]].
* The [=SMG4=] gang having grown old and living in a BadFuture.
* Bob and Boopkins [[ADayInTheLimelight getting the spotlight for once]].
* Meggy turning evil [[DownerEnding if college doesn't work out…]]
* A {{ComicBook/CrisisOnInfiniteEarths}}-type arc.

[[WMG: The Box Club will inadvertently [[spoiler:revive [=SMG0=]]]]]
The leader mentioned something about the "god box" taking everyone who worships it to paradise after TheEndOfTheWorldAsWeKnowIt in a surprisingly creepy tone. Sounds suspiciously similar to [[spoiler:[=SMG0's=] plan?]]
* That's not all. The Box Club said their boxes cost '''''[[spoiler:0 dollars]]'''''.
* Also, look at the club's logo. Is that random ring in the center of the logo just to make it look fancy? [[ArcNumber Or is that]]…
* Keep in mind that all of these "coincidences" are introduced during what's supposed to be a part of Melony's CharacterDevelopment.
* Even [=SMG1=] and 2 appear in an episode!
** Looks like it ''might'' be something different judging by "Mario and The God Box" episode, but it's too soon to assume.
* [[spoiler:Semi-confirmed. [=SMG0=] is already alive by the beginning of the arc, but the Box Club's exploits enabled Zero to claim Melony's body]].

[[WMG: Who the true leader of Box Club is.]]
* [[TheDevil Papa John]]
* Jeeves
* [=SMG0=]
** Partially confirmed, as the box club worships what made Zero.
* [[WesternAnimation/VillainousCartoonNetwork Black Hat]]

[[WMG: The Bully is affiliated with Zero]]
His hands bear a strong resemblance to [=SMG0's=] as well as having superpowers. Was he a creation of Zero? Is he Zero?
* [[spoiler:Confirmed. He's part of Zero]].

[[WMG: The Bully is not only an SMG, but was Zero’s partner as well.]]
* [[spoiler:Close… he ''is'' Zero… well, part of him]].

[[WMG: The Bully is Axol/Zero reborn]]
* It is possible that the [=SMGs=] don't really die but are reformatted/reborn when finished.
* Instead of a pure reformat, Zero and Axol's code were mixed together into one Bully. Aka, a purple slimey lizard guy with a bit of ninja flair. Aka, a Zero acting as an anime mystery guy.
* This Bully seems to have a love/hate relationship with Melony: Zero was cut down by Melony, but Axol would help her out.
* Interestingly enough, the Bully's name is Niles, which can be shortened to nil, an empty word similar to zero.
* Niles would probably know about [=SMG3=], considering the scale of his previous antics and current position, but how would Niles know about Melony's fish boyfriend, assuming that Melony might not talk to those outside the crew of this, considering that Melony only had a body for a year and the relationship became official in the final hours?
* [[spoiler:Confirmed. He's [=SMG0=]]]… [[spoiler:but this was subverted when it's revealed that he and [=Zero=] are two different people]].

[[WMG: The Box Club will be the villains of this arc, being lazy and nonchalant to represent the sin of Sloth.]]
* The "God Box" episode has the Box Club sacrificing the students… technically, they have Mario grabbing said students, so it's not farfetched.
* Confirmed, but they aren't the main villains.

[[WMG: [[KillTheCutie Tari will die in the next arc]].]]
As Tari mostly exists to promote WebAnimation/MetaRunner, and the latter is ending with Season 3, she will soon no longer have purpose in [=SMG4=]. This could make her a potential MauveShirt in the next arc.
* The fact that she's been pretty much OutOfFocus lately makes this all the more likely.
** If that happens, there will be a massive flame war and some fans will probbaly RageQuit.
*** She probably won't die per se, but leave the show and move somewhere far away. This will open a door for her to be used again in the future whenever the Glitchy Gang needs her, similar to what they did with [=SMG3=].
* Jossed, Tari is alive at the end of the Lawsuit Arc.

[[WMG: The Next Arc will be about the forbidden door in Saiko's house.]]
We've seen on two occasions now that Saiko's hiding something behind one door, and we don't know what it is. As Saiko hasn't exactly had a significant time in the spotlight for quite some time ever since the Anime Arc, it'd make sense for the next arc to be about Saiko and that forbidden door. It would probably also help [[ArtEvolution update her design]] [[EarlyInstallmentWeirdness since she's the only one out of all the [=SMG4=]-original characters that hasn't changed since her debut in Doki Doki Mario Club]].
* Partially confirmed, it's not an Arc, but there is a storyline about what's behind the door [[spoiler and her getting a makeover]].

[[WMG: The Omnia Academy storyline is an official arc]]
* Confirmed, it's for the Revelations Arc.

[[WMG: The next arc will involve the Glitchy Gang going on a quest to bring Axol BackFromTheDead.]]
It happened in a dream I had last night
* Dream on, it's about [=SMG4=] getting sued.

[[WMG: Not only will Zero return, but he will also possess another body.]]
* [[spoiler:Confirmed. It's Melony]].

[[WMG: Avatars are actually puppets to players in the real world]]
It's in their name. When the "first memory" in "The Other Universe" started playing, the first thing we see is Spudnick going in the direction that an arrow clicked on. While it's obvious that the player can't have full control over their personalities, it's possible that they provide the impulses needed to drive the plot forward. It may even explain several (if not all) of Mario's [[OOCIsSeriousBusiness out of character]] moments.

[[WMG: Luigi's meditation powers will become a major plot point]]

[[WMG: WebVideo/SuperMarioLogan characters, like Black Yoshi, will become characters on this show.]]

[[WMG: [=SMG1=] looks different because he's using an alternate skin of Spudnick]]
He's as equally affected as [=SMG2=] by Spudnick's death, but looks different. Since Spudnick's Great Adventure is toy themed, it would make sense that Spudnick would have a "toy robot" skin, explaining how [=SMG1=] can look different.

[[WMG: Meggy will become suspicious of Niles]]
In "Mario's Bus Trip", Niles properly introduces himself to Melony and says he can help her with her diety powers. The reason Meggy didn't appear in this episode could be to set up their next encounter, where she starts to suspect that Niles is just plotting to humiliate Melony or worse. The arc will expand into figuring out who Niles really is.

* Jossed. Niles [[spoiler:is only visible to Melony]].

[[WMG: This year's Halloween special will be called [[WebVideo/MandelaCatalogue "The Mario Catalogue"]]]]
The Mandela Catalogue has seen a very big rise in popularity [[ColbertBump thanks to Wendigoon and]] WebVideo/{{Markiplier}}, and considering the pattern of how Halloween episodes of [=SMG4=] usually go, it would make sense for Luke and Kevin to make ''something'' based on it.
* Jossed, there was no Halloween special, but The Cursed Tapes did take inspiration from the Mandella Catalogue

[[WMG: The real reason that [=SMG0=] is a villain]]
We've seen in "Mario Suffers Infinite Detention" that if Super Meme Guardians absorb memes, their powers become uncontrollable. In what little we've seen in Zero's flashback, he was struck by a bolt of electricity not unlike the ones released by the Guardian Pods, possibly meaning that he absorbed so many memes that it took away what little sanity he had left and gave him unique powers.
* Jossed, he was merged together with his Bootleg double and went, as the experts say, "Cuckoo for Coco Puffs"

[[WMG: The real reason that Mr. Incredible was a villain in Uncanny Mr. Mario was because he was brainwashed by [[WesternAnimation/Incredibles2 The Screenslaver]].]]
* But the Screenslaver needs a screen in front of your eyes to brainwash them. [=SMG4=] doesn't follow lore of other shows closely anyway, so he probably doesn't even remember who the Screenslaver is.

[[WMG: Axol's head appearing back on the blue background at the end of Uncanny Mr. Mario is a sign that's Axol's coming back.]]

[[WMG: A new "SMG" duo (5 and 6), along with their universe, will eventually be born.]]
Said universe's [[BarrierMaiden Avatar]] and their origin universe will be different too, although it could range from a game contemporary of Mario 64, one contemporary of Spudnick (and early Internet/Newgrounds in general), any other videogame (depending, maybe a recurring one in the [=SMG4=] universe itself), or even another kind of media that could break the videogames trend set so far by the Avatars and their universes (for example, a cartoon or a comic book).

The new SMGs might have differences from the two pairs we know, wheter they range from silly (ex: unlike our main SMG duo, it's the odd-numbered one who is the heroic one) to potentially interesting (ex: if ''both'' the SMG duos we know were arch-enemies before becoming friends, the new SMG duo's relationship might be different because they avoided the initial bad blood). This might even extend to how their arrival affected their universe and the characters inhabiting it if we get to glimpse those, all to show the possibility that the cycle's setup might be the same, but not completely what plays off of it (although there is the fifty chance that all of those might be similar to the two universes we know).

Depending on when they debut, their role can be one of these:

* If they're introduced while the show is still running, this new SMG duo might be introduced as newcomers (which could work in a meta sense as well, with them being a collective AudienceSurrogate to new fans), naive to the CosmicHorrorStory aspects of their universe, and maybe with adventures reminiscent of the early [=SMG4=] days. Depending on their luck/misfortune, they might get tangled with the main universe's affairs and through it, learn of the darker aspects of their universe.
* If they're introduced at the ending, this new SMG duo and their universe will be a case of LastEpisodeNewCharacter. We might get to see their universe being "born" in a parallel to [[Recap/Supermarioglicthy4sSuperMario64BloopersSMG4sOrigins SMG4's Origins]], and a PassingTheTorch moment between this new universe and the [=SMG4=] universe we know and love (could be pointed out InUniverse, but it's more likely that it's going to be metaphorical). In a nutshell, [[EndOfAnEra while [=SMG4=]'s adventures might be done]], [[DawnOfAnEra the cycle of the Meme Guardians]] [[AndTheAdventureContinues goes on]].

[[WMG: Mario will become the villain of an arc.]]
"Mario Gets Into [=NFTs=]" shows that Mario's willing to stoop low enough to deliberately hurt his friends. Along with Mario's other DirtyCoward moments and him more frequently putting himself first, it might culminate into him betraying the gang altogether for a petty reason similar to Bob's in "The Rapper Bob Arc", except he's actually putting his world at stake. This may result in the following:

* The gang will be forced into putting him down and retreating to a new universe
* Mario realizes the errors of his ways and will genuinely attempt to reform himself
* There will turn out to be a GreaterScopeVillain behind Mario's behavior

* Funnily enough, Mario sacrifices other people in the next episode which turns out to have plenty of lore.

[[WMG: The memes are actually {{Greater Scope Villain}}s.]]
Taking Mario for example, they could be the reason for his negative traits. There may be an arc where they rebel together and make everyone like Mario, causing the world to descend into chaos.

[[WMG: The God Box is a product of the [[WesternAnimation/VillainousCartoonNetwork Black Hat Organization]].]]
* Jossed, it's actually a bunch of old computers in a box.

[[WMG:[=SMG3=] will be the one to open the God Box]]
He clearly wasn't listening to [=SMG1=] saying the stuff in the God Box will destroy everything. This may result in the [=SMGs=] either keeping [=SMG3=] under extreme supervision or shunning him for a couple episodes, possibly resulting in [=SMG3=] returning to villainy.
* Jossed, It's a Niles-possessed Melony and the Box Club Leader

[[WMG: The God Box is what corrupted Zero.]]
"0" symbol aside, from what little we know as of now, [=SMG0=] was corrupted by something and gained abilities no other SMG had. [=SMG0=] states that he just wants a peaceful universe like "how it used to be," but caused major destruction in the process. It could be that whatever's in the box impedes rational thinking.
* [[spoiler:Confirmed in an odd way. Long ago, the God Box summoned [=SMG0=], who prayed for things to go back to normal in his world. In response, the God Box created Niles, who helped Zero create the meme life cycle. However, Niles became unsatisfied with being a FlawedPrototype, resulting in him destroying Zero's universe on accident before forcefully merging himself with [=SMG0=] causing a FusionDance making the corrupted Zero that had been haunting everyone for years]].

[[WMG: The God Box will have a version of "Hope".]]
If the God Box is indeed inspired by Pandora's Box, there may be a thing hidden among the bad that can potentially save everyone.
* Confirmed with the real [=SMG0=]

[[WMG: The God Box is a hard drive in the real world.]]
In the Genesis Arc, we learned about Guardian Pods, which are IRL thumb drives filled with data of some sort. Considering the ties to different games things in the [=SMG4=] universe have through these thumb drives, it would make sense for the God Box to be an IRL hard drive filled with various things gathered from other computers and the like. Perhaps it contains old, scrapped things which manifest through the eyes of the [=SMG4verse=] as having been amalgamated into terrifying beings. Or maybe a bunch of random junk that the main cast sees as a realm of pure chaos and danger similar to the Warp from Warhammer 40,000. Either way, there's a suspicion that the God Box makes another tie to the real world.
* Jossed, it's literally a cardboard box holding broken computer stuff in it.

[[WMG: The God Box Arc could also be called, "The Unlimited Power Arc".]]
In her character arc, Melony is trying to train her powers in order to protect her friends with the help of Niles, but has a hard time restraining herself from going overboard.
:
The past few episodes have a theme of "unlimited power" ever since "Mario Does [=NFT=]s":
* "Mario Does [=NFT=]s" is about Mario going mad with the power to turn anything into an NFT.
* "Mario and the God Box" has [=SMG3=] being swayed by the thought of unlimited power by the Box Club leader, willing to sacrifice Mario to attain it under the club's deluded guidance.
* "If Mario Was In… Roblox" was about a Robloxian called Oofio who tricks Mario into getting him admin powers for vengeance over killing his girlfriend.
* And now "The Floor Is Lava", where Fishy Boopkins becomes the Lava King, mad with power over becoming a hero, a large departure from his kind-hearted self and showing that Boopkins can be dangerous if need be.
We don't know if future episodes would follow this path, but there are a couple amongst other possibilities:
* "If Mario Was In… ''VideoGame/NeedyStreamerOverload''": Saiko decides to start a gig in becoming a streamer, and she becomes so popular that she commands her fanbase like a literal army. It would be a nice callback to her debut personality while at the same time playing into the theme of the past few episodes.
* "The Mario Metaverse": An episode that puts Tari in the power-mad position due to her abilities as a Meta Runner possibly giving her reign over an entirely virtual space like the Metaverse. Could also serve as a big TakeThat to the Metaverse.
Regardless of what potentially comes next, there seems to be a large theme established with this new upcoming arc.

* Jossed. It's called the "Revelations Arc".

[[WMG: Melony will die in the Revelations movie.]]
At the end of Absolute Betrayal, Zero, as Niles, takes possession of Melony in her Fierce Deity mode to search for the God Box. Considering that Zero’s previous victim; Axol, had to be killed off to foil the eldritch god’s previous scheme, the [=SMGs=] and Glitchy Gang will be forced with no other option than to put Melony down.

To add insult to injury, there is a possibility that Meggy may even be the one forced to put Melony down herself, going through the same tragic ordeal of having to see another one of her befriended former rivals die.
* Alternatively, her death will be a HeroicSacrifice. Melony will see this as the only way to save her friends and the universe as well as to make up for being unable to save Axol.
* Jossed. Melony lives.

[[WMG: Niles'/Zero's weakness]]
The only time we see any sort of genuine panic in Niles is when he's about to be hit by a meme blast. With the revelation that no one but Melony can see him, could memes be his doom?
* Seemingly confirmed. [[spoiler:His death occurs once he gets blown up by a meme bomb launched at the God Box]].

[[WMG: Niles is what Zero looked like before his universe was destroyed]]
* [[spoiler:Jossed. He is an artifical partner created by the God Box for [=SMG0=]]]

[[WMG: The Revelations movie isn't the end of the arc]]
The arc playlist is unnaturally short compared to the others. Perhaps the gang will need to clean up unfinished business that the God Box produces?
* Jossed.

[[WMG: In the upcoming movie, EverybodyLives (except maybe Zero).]]
It would make a good subversion to everyone's expectations of arcs.
* Semi-confirmed. None of the main/major good characters die this time around, but we still have several notable casulties, namely [[spoiler:the Box Club Leader, [=SMG0=], Niles, and Terrence]].

[[WMG: The Guardian Pods will play a role in Revelations]]
Their appearance in the [=SMG4=] world is merely a projection after all. Maybe Zero will use the [=USBs=] to restore his body and/or the gang will discover the truth about Zero through Zero's USB.
* Confirmed. They're turned into spaceships.

[[WMG: Not only will the Revelations movie take place in the real world, but outside of the GLITCH office as well.]]
We've seen tweets of Luke in different places. Could those be for the setting of the movie?
* Jossed. No one ever leaves the GLITCH office.

[[WMG: If Axol comes back, he will be redesigned]]
Just like [[spoiler: Zero]]. The Revelations arc will end with Melony finding a way to resurrect her beloved axolotl (perhaps using her diety powers or the ink weaver, maybe combining both), and bringing him back in a new form - considering her chibi style, he could come back SuperDeformed.

[[WMG: The God Box will restore [=SMG0's=] true form]]
As hinted in the thumbnail of Revelations.
* Confirmed… [[spoiler:depending on your definition of "true."]]

[[WMG: Revelations will have an AstralFinale]]
In the trailer, Mario and his [=SMGs=] are seen chasing Zero!Melony in space. In the thumbnail, we see the characters in what appears to be above Earth among other planets.
* Confirmed, [[spoiler:the final battle takes place in the God Box, a collection of several universes]].

[[WMG: [[WesternAnimation/VillainousCartoonNetwork Black Hat]] was responsible for giving life to the God Box.]]

[[WMG: The place where Melony meets Axol's spirit is the "In-Between" from ''WebAnimation/SunsetParadise''.]]

[[WMG: Anti-memes will return in future episodes]]
Perhaps they can kickstart an arc where either the [=SMGs=] or the citizens get corrupted by their power.

[[WMG: Niles/Zero was the one who caused [=SMG4=] and [=SMG3=]’s amnesia]]
Zero is notable for being an incredible strategist and having a wide array of powers and strengths, so maybe he wiped 4 and 3’s memories in order to make 4 try to find out his past, discover [=SMG1=]’s Guardian Pod and give Zero the opportunity to use to get back to his true form.

[[WMG: If the SevenDeadlySins theory is true, Niles’ sin isn’t gluttony or wrath like people expect, but rather {{Pride}}]]
Niles doesn’t exactly lose his cool too much, and he never shows any signs of gluttony, what he does show however is [[ThePerfectionist a heavy obsession with perfectionism]], desiring nothing more than to make himself and his universe perfect, on top of being a KnightTemplar who believes that only his necessities matter.

[[WMG: Karen will play a major role in the next arc.]]
[[WordOfSaintPaul According to FM,]] Karen was designed sometime before VideoGame/{{Deltarune}}’s second chapter released. This means that her character has been in development for a while. Could this mean that she becomes important in the future? This arc could relate to her NonStandardCharacterDesign somehow…
* Calling it now - Karen is the mother of [[WebAnimation/SunsetParadise Whisk]].
* While she isn't a major player in the Lawsuit arc, maybe she'll be important in a future arc.

[[WMG: The Cursed Tapes is the start of a new arc.]]
The way Morshu is spying on Mario, Luigi, Meggy, and Phillip seems to be an implication.
* Though the way Morshu watches Mario and Peach do a meme suggests that's how he usually is.

[[WMG: Melony will gain a SecondLove (unless Axol comes back).]]

[[WMG: Kaizo's not done.]]
His debut episode may have ended with him cutting ties with Saiko now that she's no longer "cool", but more likely than not, we haven't seen the last of him. He implied that he would either find another band or somehow return to his game, but I doubt either of those goals will go anywhere for him. And even if they do, he may end up missing Saiko--the old, destructive Saiko, that is--and want to wreak havoc with her once again… [[JoinOrDie by]] [[IHaveYourWife any]] [[BrainwashedAndCrazy means]] [[LovePotion necessary]]. We may be getting ourselves another ArcVillain here.
* Confirmed in terms of him not being done; he reappears in Mario Gets Lit and The Meme Games 2022, but Jossed in terms of him being an ArcVillain, as he seemed to have pulled a HeelFaceTurn in The Meme Games.

[[WMG: The God Box will return as the BigBad in a future arc.]]

[[WMG: Meggy's dad will turn out to be [[VideoGame/OctoDad Octodad]].]]
When they show up, Meggy will be called out by her parents for not telling them she's become human, until one of her friends points out that her father is obviously an octopus in a suit. Her mother could also be hiding something.

[[WMG: Depresso's our next ArcVillain]]
He's only appeared in 2 episodes and already his appearance in ''Clown Fever'' just ''screams'' grounds for being an arc villain: lost his girlfriend to [=SMG4=] and gone completely mad over it. Now, this might just be a throwaway reference to the Joker, [[Film/Joker2019 which was flat-out referenced at the end of the episode]], but if there's one thing we know about [=SMG4=], it's that an Arc can come out from the smallest, insignificant gags: Bob's failed BatmanGambit for the Bob Arc, the Anime Challenges episode destroying Peach's castle for the Anime Arc, [=SMG1=] and [=SMG2=]'s occurring appearances before the big movie, the Box Club for Revelations, we all thought those were just the normal gags before we were plunged into a heavier story.
* So, that turned out to be Jossed. [[spoiler: Our next ArcVillain is Lawyer Kong and Nintendo.]]

[[WMG: [[VideoGame/SuperMarioLand Tatanga]] will be the BigBad in a future arc.]]

[[WMG: If Mario Was The Last Man On Earth is an lead in to another arc]]
The episode ends with ‘To Be Contiuned’ with everyone lunging at Mario for destroying the record-breaking pizza they all tried to keep him away from, making it perfect grounds for another arc. In said arc, Mario’s friends harshly shun him for ruining their chances of becoming famous with the pizza, tell him that he always ruins everything and how much they wish he would go away and stay away from them. Since Mario has gone through CharacterDevelopment, [[TookALevelInKindness he is absolutely devastated by his friends rejection of him]], and decides to leave the Kingdom. The next day, Mario’s absence is noticed when he isn’t there to help with something, leading to a search to find him.
* Or Luigi (the one who cares about Mario the most) is the first to notice Mario’s absence and alert the others. And while most of the others don’t care at first (still angry at him about the pizza), they very quickly come to regret the wish when he isn’t there to help them, remembering how big of a help and better friend Mario has become lately and they decide to get Mario back.

[[WMG: The Copyright Arc will end with [=SMG4=] exploiting a legal loophole.]]
In every episode dedicated to this storyline so far, [=SMG4=] has lived in fear of pissing off Nintendo and bringing a DMCA to nuke his entire channel from existence. ''However'', as this Troper has discovered, there is ''one'' thing that protects him that in-universe [=SMG4=] doesn't realize: Glitch Productions is situated in Australia, where Fair Use is better enforced in comparison to other places like the USA. The finale of this "Copyright Arc" would most likely result in [=SMG4=] calling upon the power of the Australian government to combat this legal attack on his channel's content.
* So far, they crafted a parody law contract… which doesn't reach the judge before the DMCA. Though as the contract and [=SMG4=] still exists, this might still occur.
* Jossed with [=SMG4=] suggesting a [=WOTFI=] in place of a trial. As Miyamoto later puts it, their arguments in an actual court trial would be invalid and incredibly stupid.

[[WMG:Meggy will stay an Inkling.]]
* You didn’t hear the “temporary” part?
** Jossed as the contract ends before the episode.

[[WMG:Lawyer Kong is manipulating Miyamoto]]
* Miyamoto seemed perfectly ok with [=SMG4=] hanging out with Mario before, and “[=SMG4=] Gets Sued” ended with them on good terms after borrowing Luigi. It was Lawyer Kong who swore vengeance. Perhaps LK has somehow convinced him to approve his plan.
** Jossed. After Miyamoto witnesses Mario humping spaghetti and getting an explanation of [=SMG4's=] influence, he was willing to sign the DMCA. Miyamoto was also willing to welcome his crew if they made good games… but they didn't, so Miyamoto signed it anyway, telling Mario that he's better than playing with these silly people.

[[WMG:Bob and Boopkins will be BigDamnHeroes in the Lawsuit Arc thanks to LoopholeAbuse]]
* They have the appearance of Nintendo characters (a Garo and Spike respectively), however since they aren’t actually Nintendo characters, they’d be immune to the firewall’s effects. With this possibility, I feel as if they’ll be helping [=SMG4=], Meggy and Phoenix Wright with getting the firewall down behind the scenes.
** They were canonized but got reverted in "Breaking Luigi" and are helping distribute more memes under the guise of a restaurant.
** Jossed with Lawyer Kong controlling all Nintendo characters for the [=WOTFI=]. Though they do end up working with Luigi to make more memes after the trial.

[[WMG: A character will die either during or at the end of The Lawsuit Arc.]]
Starting with The Anime Arc, there has been at least one or so deaths throughout and/or at the end of each arc since then, whether they were major or minor characters.

* The Anime Arc: Francis and Desti
* The [=YouTube=] Arc: Greg
* Genesis Arc: Axol
* Revelations Arc: The Box Club Leader, [=SMG0=] and Niles.

Should The Lawsuit Arc continue the trend, there are a few candidates that may give up the ghost by the time the arc comes to an end.

* Meggy Spletzer: A very unlikely option, given her popularity. It is possible that she could sacrifice her own life as the ultimate way to atone for being mostly a bad friend with aggression toward Mario in recent times, as well as resolving the catalyst she caused that provoked Lawyer Kong’s wrath in the first place.
* Lawyer Kong: Being the main arc villain and all.
* Tari: Given that Meta Runner will be finished by the arc’s conclusion, the gamer girl may not serve a purpose in the show anymore, thus, potentially being one candidate that may meet her untimely end or heroic sacrifice during the final battle against Nintendo.
* [=SMG4=] himself, but not really "dying", moreso he (and perhaps [=SMG3=]) will be converted to original designs like the ones from "If Mario Was In Splatoon 3".'

* Jossed. For the first time since the Rapper Bob Arc, EveryoneLives.

[[WMG: The Lawsuit Arc is a bizzaro version of the Anime Arc]]
* In both cases, Princess Peach and Lawyer Kong era erected a barrier to separate unwanted elements (anime and memes respectfully) from Nintendo.
* Meggy was a central character to the Anime arc, becoming human but losing a friend. In the Lawsuit arc, we see Meggy becoming an inkling again, so she might regain a friend.
* The armored vans driven by Nintendo Ninjas sports "Thot Patrol Elite", an alternative to the "No Anime" logos of the other arc's vans.
* In a sense, the channel is ruled in [=SMG4=]'s favor and is allowed to exist… on the condition that several characters change their looks.

[[WMG: Lawyer Kong is actually Donkey Kong, driven by jealousy that Nintendo didn't celebrate his 40th anniversary.]]
* Jossed. He is actually Funky Kong.

[[WMG: Lawyer Kong forged Miyamoto's signature to get the firewall put where it is.]]
* Unlikely, as he requires Miyamoto to sign the Super DMCA, suggesting that the firewall contract has to be signed as well.

[[WMG: Lawyer King is a minion of the God Box.]]
* Jossed for now. He's more of a canon Nintendo character.

[[WMG: The crew isn't fully "dead" after the DMCA (but before any plot revival).]]
The DMCA gets rid of the channel (and thus the cast), but since [=SMG4=] has another non-Nintendop channel in the form of Glitch Productions, he can give them another home to reawaken temporarily.
* Though in-universe, this might as well be jossed since the signing and the crew were both outside the Nintendo firewall, so it'll be hard to find a place that does that.

[[WMG: [[spoiler: Melony will self-revive, similar to Kirby in [[VideoGame/SuperSmashBrosBrawl the Subspace Emissary]]]].]]
[[spoiler: As of [NINTENDO HAS CLAIMED THIS VIDEO], Lawyer Kong has won, shutting down [=SMG4=]'s channel through dubious means and shutting down all characters from the channel as well… but I believe not everyone from [=SMG4=]'s channel will remain this way for long: Melony is imbued with the power of the Fierce Deity Mask, a Nintendo artifact. This may not mean much because we see Melony "shut down" after the Super [=DMCA=] was signed, but it can be easy to forget that Melony was only brought to life because of the Fierce Deity Mask, so who's to say it cannot save Melony herself like Kirby with the Dedede Badge during Subspace Emissary from Super Smash Bros. Brawl?]]
* So, uh… [[spoiler: this got Jossed.]]

[[WMG: The penultimate episode of the Lawsuit Arc will be based on ''Series/BetterCallSaul''.]]
We already had Breaking Luigi, and considering this is a very, shall we say, "litigatory" story arc, it'd make sense for [[spoiler: the episode that turns it against Lawyer Kong and removing the DMCA on [=SMG4=]'s channel to be based on Better Call Saul]].
* Kind of confirmed. When Meggy barges in the courtroom in "Goodbye [=SMG4=]", the caption "Better Call Meggy" appear.

[[WMG: Lawyer Kong will usurp Miyamoto]]
It has been made perfectly clear that Lawyer Kong is the ''real'' antagonist, not Miyamoto or Nintendo. He clearly acts in his own self-interest, acting extremely petty to get what only ''he'' believes Nintendo wants and resorts to dirty tactics (Such as "your mom" jokes and physically obstructing any attempts to bring up parody law). He even holds [=SMG4=]'s channel hostage during his debut and cuts off the Mushroom Kingdom from the rest of the world over it. Though something tells me that Lawyer Kong isn't gonna be satisfied with [[spoiler: the [=DMCA=]'ing of [=SMG4=]'s channel. Miyamoto is clearly being manipulated by Lawyer Kong even though the former holds all the power, and based on what we've seen of him I doubt Lawyer Kong will stop at killing off [=SMG4=]'s channel: I think Lawyer Kong is planning on suing Nintendo himself to get power. The final battle in WotFI will be about Miyamoto making a deal with [=SMG4=] to help him get Nintendo back in exchange for restoring his channel.]]
* Jossed. He quits being a lawyer. As for Miyamoto, he was pretending to be Judge Kirby to see how the [=WOTFI=] unfolds.

[[WMG: Lawyer Kong has been working for [[{{WesternAnimation/VillainousCartoonNetwork}} Black Hat]] this whole time.]]
* Jossed. His only motivation was being a lawyer.

[[WMG: WOTFI 2022 will happen because Lawyer Kong will be a SoreLoser]]
Lawyer Kong has shown to do literally ''anything'' to dismantle [=SMG4=]'s content and ''keep it'' dismantled, and being the AmoralAttorney he is, in the advent he loses, he's not gonna take the loss well. I don't know ''what'' he'll do in response to this loss, but what I do know is that it'll be directly responsible for WOTFI 2022. Perhaps it'll be a repeat of last year and Lawyer Kong hijacks Mario, returning him back to canon and tricking him into believing his friends are colluding with Bowser to kidnap Peach, thereby kickstarting the events. Alternatively…
* Jossed. [=SMG4=] gives Judge Kirby the idea to do a [=WOTFI=] to get the best chance of survival, with Lawyer Kong noting that has nothing to do with the law.

[[WMG: WOTFI 2022 will be giant game pitch to Miyamoto.]]
Of course, Miyamoto will be touched to find out that Mario cares about his friends enough to bring them back to life, and as such he might be willing to give his friends another shot at selling him. WOTFI 2022 could ''possibly'' be [=SMG4=] and Mario's attempt to prove to Miyamoto that non-Nintendo characters deserve to be in his games, but unlike in [NINTENDO HAS CLAIMED THIS VIDEO] it will go ''much'' better.
* Jossed. While Miyamoto finds the crew to be fun and cool people, this is not a game pitch but a finalizing of the contract.

[[WMG:The next arc will be based on the [[VideoGame/HenryStickminSeries Toppat Civil Warfare]] aftermath.]]

[[WMG: Meggy survived the Super DMCA]]
Her state as an Inkling-turned human protected her, helped by some lingering effects from the IP contract. At some point during the Lawsuit Arc, she managed to [[MookFaceTurn get a Nintendo Ninja on the Glitchy gang's side]] and, after the DMCA's signing and Mario got the contract, the Ninja took Meggy's supposedly dead body to a secluded location. When the time came for Mario to get the parody contract to Judge Kirby, Meggy's ally gave her the legal equipment and the lawyer outfit she needed and she was on her way to the courthouse just as Mario got the parody contract to the judge. This would explain why she didn't show up at the courthouse right away as everyone came back.

[[WMG: There will be a reference or two to [[VideoGame/DonkeyKong64 the DK Rap]] in the inevitable rap battle for WOTFI 2022]]
Considering where Lawyer Kong gets his voice, it'd be a huge missed opportunity if there wasn't. I have a feeling that the beat for the rap battle will be the same tempo as the DK Rap, while also putting in different instruments for the desire to stand out. In addition, I think someone will accuse Lawyer Kong of [[MemeticMutation not having any style or grace]] at some point. Yes, I know they already used that joke in the previous episode, but I still think it could work. Like, maybe rhyme it with "your cease and desist is all over the place", as a reference to how the guy apparently ''searches for peoples' fan projects to destroy'', as we've seen with poor Frankie.
* Jossed. Does not sound like DK Rap and no one accused Lawyer Kong of being a hypocrite (though Luigi accuses [=SMG4=] of not being original or high quality).

[[WMG: As Lawyer Kong is finally defeated…]]
Whether it's death, unemployment, or whatever punishment he gets for basically abusing the DMCA, it won't be before he leaves a grim reminder that they may get rid of him, but [[AsLongAsThereIsEvil there will always be people out there who despise Nintendo fan projects]] [[VillainHasAPoint and will play dirty to get them off the face of the Internet]]. And after he's gone, our heroes will come to the sad realization that he's right. This could also give some meta insight to how shit like this happens in real life.
* Jossed. Lawyer Kong does not leave a final point, just deciding to be Funky Kong. Miyamoto does present a different point: the crew would not have survived in a real life trial but he finds them fun and cool.

[[WMG: Possibilities for Lawyer Kong’s fate]]
* Unemployment: Probably the most likely option, would probably be from Miyamoto pulling a HeelFaceTurn and realising just how bad of a person Lawyer Kong is.
** This is closest to what actually happened: [[spoiler: Lawyer Kong ''does'' lose his job, but he wasn't fired. He quits his job, disillusioned from his loss in the court case and reverts back to Funky Kong and becoming a weapons dealer.]]
* Death: There are several possibilities for how he might die.
** Vaporised by Galeem like the grey area characters.
** Burned alive by the firewall.
** In a bit of irony, getting [=DMCA’d=].
*** Alongside this, due to a pattern with each major Glitch Productions that this troper has noticed, this troper believes that the possibility for Lawyer Kong’s death will be a CruelAndUnusualDeath with him dying in disgrace (be it [[AintTooProudToBeg begging for mercy]], a failed TakingYouWithMe attempt, etc.).

[[WMG: The music for the rap battle in WOTFI 2022 will be provided by none other than KS-2]]
I think it would be cool if we had an in-universe band for the rap battle this time around, with Saiko even providing some vocals. They haven't really done anything with Kaizo after his "mini-arc", cameos aside. Come to think of it, they haven't done much with Saiko either…
* Jossed. It's mainly Meggy, Mario and [=SMG4=] providing the lyrics against Lawyer Kong.

[[WMG: The Lawsuit Arc is one big allegory to WebVideo/SuperMarioLogan after that Cease & Desist.]]

[[WMG:Bob and Fishy Boopkins will get a BigDamnHeroes moment in WOTFI 2022]]
Last time we saw Bob and Fishy was them selling Pingas at a restaurant in ''Breaking Luigi''. And the banner shows Bob and Fishy not disappearing despite being [=SMG4=] characters. This makes me think that during the trial, Bob and Fishy will arrive to turn the tables on Lawyer Kong at some point, possibly once Lawyer Kong starts acting like a SoreLoser.
* Jossed. They get controlled along with Mario, Luigi and the rest of Nintendo to act as the opposing side. Though they do get something of a big moment when Miyamoto wants them to stop being a Garo and Spike…

[[WMG:The arcs seem to follow a pattern]]
Every arc for the past few years seems to be following a pattern starting from the Anime Arc:
* The Anime Arc: First half is about Peach banning anime from the Mushroom Kingdom after an accident involving anime blew up her castle. The second half involves Francis, an anime cartel kingpin, kidnapping the entire city of Inkopolis to create an island of waifus.
* The [=YouTube=] Arc: [=SMG3=] aims to steal [=SMG4=]'s [=YouTube=] channel and at one point [[DidYouJustPunchOutCthulhu deletes Susen Wallawallabingbang to the Internet Graveyard]]. Heavily involves [=SMG4=]'s career as a [=YouTuber=].
* The Genesis & Revelations Arcs: Involves the in-universe lore behind memes, as well as Meme Guardians.
* The Lawsuit Arc: [=SMG4=] gets in major legal trouble with Nintendo and must fight to restore his DMCA'd channel. Also involves his career as a [=YouTuber=].
So with those out of the way, this troper believes that the next arc will be involving something not involving directly threatening [=SMG4=]'s career as a [=YouTuber=]. Whatever exactly it will be, this troper not sure. But they all involve ''something'' related to his channel regardless.
** As it turns out, this is actually both semi-jossed and confirmed: [[spoiler: it seems that [=SMG4=] is hinging his entire career and channel on a perfect video, which could either cause a collapse in career or skyrocket into success.]]

[[WMG:The next arc will involve Meggy's sports coach career]]
We know from "POV: You're Mario" that she's still in college, so perhaps we'll see her training her team for a big sports competition, similar to Meggy's Destiny.

[[WMG: Lawyer/Funky Kong was actually being controlled by someone else]]
So, did anybody feel like the lawsuit arc was a bit… out of the ordinary? It's the second arc in a year when there have only been one arc per year, nobody died, and the ArcVillain [[KarmaHoudini got off with barely a slap on the wrist]]. Seems odd, doesn't it… but what if it was intentional? What if this was leading into a more serous arc like the rest? After all, it happened with Genesis and Revelations, so what's to say lighting wont strike twice?

Here's my theory: Funky Kong was down on his luck,[[CallBack now broke after buying NFTs]], and wandering the streets aimlessly, when a silhouetted figure steps out of an alleyway and offers him a deal: A chance to restart his life… and all he has to do is put on some sunglasses. Funky naturally agrees and puts on the glasses, only for it to turn out that the sunglasses had some mind-control technology in them, causing him to be controlled by whoever masterminded the whole thing (We'll call him "The Puppeteer" for now) and gave rise to Lawyer Kong.

After a bit of climbing the ranks (with help from The Puppeteer), Lawyer Kong became the head of Nintendo's legal team and went after [=SMG4=], leading to the events of the lawsuit arc. After the WOTFI 2022, The Puppeteer's scheme seemed to be over… shame he had a plan B, and that he already had an instrument to help him fulfill said plan in the form of Funky Kong. Why did Funky Kong become an Arms-Dealer at the end of the arc? Simple: The Puppeteer wants to start a CivilWar with the Mushroom Kingdom where they end up ruling the Kingdom instead of Peach, eventually driving its citizens to war against memes.

But why? Why would he do all of this, putting so many lives at stake before committing what amounts to genocide of an entire species? Well, they gave their reason through Lawyer Kong when he set up the fire-wall: He hates what [=SMG4=] has done to his world, turned it from what was once a happy-go-lucky land where nothing too bad happened into a Meme-filled hellhole where hundreds were killed of for "Black Comedy". He just wants everything to be [[CallBack nice and peaceful… just like it used to be.]]

[[WMG: We'll get to see a future version of Zach, Katie, and Cory due to Time Shenanigans]]
It's possible that Karen will play a major role in an arc, and one of Karen's major aspects is her struggle to raise her kids. What I'm thinking of is that her kids will be caught in the crossfire of an ArcVillain's attack, Karen goes berserk thinking her children are dead, but then it turns out they got a similar treatment to Axol and that they were sent to a pocked dimension running on YearInsideHourOutside and TookALevelInBadass.

[[WMG: The next arc will revolve around Nextbots]]

The arc is called Armstrong’s Revenge and is based on Nico’s Nextbots, Evade, Goofy Runners, and Running From The Internet from ROBLOX.

The genre is Adventure, Suspense, Thriller, Comedy, Horror, and Drama.

The plot is that Senator Armstrong gets his revenge on Bob Bobowski by rallying up his Nextbot friends, who entered the [=SMG4=] universe in a way that is connected to the Cosmology Saga, and attacks the Mushroom Kingdom with the help of them and goes after Glitchy Gang since Bob is a member of the gang and [=SMG4=] is the one who created the WOFTI series.

There are 10 episodes (Ends in a WOFTI).

Here what happens:

After Glitchy Gang hears the news that the Mushroom Kingdom got attacked, the Nextbots quickly flee without a single trace.

Mario, Luigi, and Wario get kidnapped by the Nextbots (Mario gets interrogated by Armstrong at one point, who then tells him where Glitchy Gang is, but a la The Super Mario Bros. Movie (2023), he lies) and are turned into Nextbot versions of themselves.

Waluigi joins the cast on their journey to stop Armstrong and the Nextbots so they can turn his brother, Mario, and Luigi back to normal.

The characters manage to turn Mario, Luigi, and Wario back to normal by convincing them on who they are and making them regain their memories.

Most of the Nextbots, such as those in Nico’s Nextbots, Evade and Running From The Internet, are turned back to normal, revealing that they were turned into Nextbots by Armstrong and brainwashed/mind-controlled by him.

Saiko gets brutally shot in the back by Gun (from Running From The Internet) a la Desti in Final Hours, but is later revived by Whimpu because he has a copy of the game she originates from, turning the moment from Tear Jerker to Tear Dryer, but problem is, she’s a 2D sprite again, so they’ll have to find a way to make her a real person again.
* Well, the idea is certainly… unique, but I don't think they'll change Saiko's design so soon after her revamp.

[[WMG: The final arc in the show will be a massive crossover with every other Glitch Productions property up until that point]]

[[WMG: Axol Jr. will become [[AnthropomorphicShift human-ish]]]]
Be it from getting blasted by magic, science, or getting possessed by [[VideoGame/TheLegendOfZeldaMajorasMask Majora]] similar to his "Mom", it would be neat to see Axol Jr. become more like the man he was named after.

[[WMG: The massive door from "Mario Goes To T-Mobile To Upgrade His Data Plan" (and the darkness contained within) that the aliens worshipped will be involved in a future arc]]
We may have another God Box situation on our hands…

[[WMG: [=SMG4=] himself will be the next ArcVillain.]]
The plot of ''[=SMG4=]… Are You OK?'' shows his descent into a brief villainhood over making content to be worthy of Mr. Yeast's time by enslaving Toads and making videos of questionable quality, and after [=SMG3=] teaches him a "quality over quantity" lesson, he sets out to make "the best video ever", even skipping out on a trip to Texas in ''Mario Goes To Ohio" to focus on it. I get the feeling that once this "best video" is finished, one of two things will happen:
* The video blows up in his face and [=SMG4=] goes mad from this crushing failure, turning him into a Joker Expy.
* On the other side of the spectrum, the video could be such a massive success that [=SMG4=] becomes DrunkWithPower and uses that same video to single-handedly control the entire Mushroom Kingdom. We know what happens when particular memes reach a certain point with ''Lord Of The Memes'', so having [=SMG4=] make a video that could surpass even the Ultimate Meme could result in this outcome.

[[WMG: The The Best Video Ever Arc]]
Considering how dedicated [=SMG4=] is to creating the best video ever to impress Mr. Yeast, this will be the series’s 8th story arc. How the fallout of this ambitious video will be, turning out to either be the Toppest of Keks or Cringiest of Cringe, it is anyone’s guess, but relating to a previous guess, whatever the result may be, it can potentially corrupt [=SMG4=] himself.

The villain of this hypothetical 8th arc, should it center around this video, will be either [=SMG4=], Mr. Yeast, or even both, but that depends on how things will pan out.

This arc may also be Tari’s chance to shine, as she is the only one of the OG girl trio (the other two being Meggy and Saiko) that has yet to receive a redesign or glow-up since her debut.

Whether she harnesses the power of memes, friendship, and any other inherently benign force of the sort, or receive a near-fatal blow should she fight or provoke [=SMG4=] in his most volatile state, Tari will come out of this 8th arc a much different character, appearance or personality, pending on what she will go through, and most importantly, if she is going to be the key player in the first place.
* Half-confirmed, half Jossed. This does become a bit of an overarching story, but Luke says at the end of the movie that it isn’t an arc.

[[WMG:The Perfection Arc will be the longest Arc on the channel]]
It's evident now that we're in the middle of a new Arc, but [=WOTFI=] 2023 seems to be a long way off. If we're capping this Arc off with War of the Fat Italians 2023, then I believe we're gonna be in for the longest Arc that the channel has ever made… though alternatively there could be a different finale episode than normal.
* Jossed. It’s arguably one of the shortest, and it’s also not even an arc.

[[WMG: The resolution of the Perfection Arc]]
* [=SMG4=] learns that there's no such thing as "perfect" and settles with making normal videos.
* [=SMG4=] decides to migrate his entire library of videos to a brand new ''GLITCH'' website if the "perfect video" turns out to be such a massive failure that he's permabanned from the platform.
* [=SMG4=] goes back in time to stop himself from making the "perfect video" after finding dissatisfaction with the massive success it made him and having a HeelRealization.

[[WMG: The commentary in the Perfection Arc.]]
Two of the arcs had some commentary that related to [=YouTube=] content creation:
* The [=YouTube=] Arc: Calling out [=YouTube=]'s policies back when Susan was in charge.
* The Lawsuit Arc: Calling out Nintendo's tight copyright policies.

But this arc seems to be something other than calling out a specific thing. Instead, it seems that the Arc will possess commentary about [=YouTubers=] that either become hated for their abundance of low-quality videos or take too much of a risk in making videos with the potential make headlines for ages to come. And so far [=SMG4=] has experienced the extremes of the former, and seems to be in the process of experiencing the extremes of the latter.

* As of the movie’s release, [[spoiler: the message of the arc actually appears to be creators who place their own worth in the things that they make, at the expense of everything else.]]

[[WMG: [=SMG4=]'s perfect video will get screwed over by the new [=YouTube=] CEO.]]
As related to a previous WMG, the theory that Susan Whenyouwishuponastar is going to be replaced as the [=YouTube=] CEO following her real life counterpart stepping down might tie into the Perfect Video arc. Maybe when [=SMG4=] finishes the video, he temporarily regains his sanity… only to lose it when he posts the video and it either gets ignored or dogged on by the new changes to Youtube. This then leads to [=SMG4=] completely losing it and either decides to take it out on the world or just Youtube.

* [[spoiler: While the "perfect video" was completed, it ended up being lost to whatever it was that ended up corrupting Peach's Castle. The video had no chance to be uploaded at all and thus, no Youtube CEO appears.]]

[[WMG: [=SMG4=]'s perfect video will be a rickroll.]]

[[WMG: [=SMG4=]'s perfect video and Luke's frustration]]
A popular theory going around since "[=MAR10=] Day" is that Luke is putting some legitimate, but private, frustration with some of his fans' endless criticisms over his decisions into this storyline, said theory spawning from when [=SMG4=] screamed at his cast that "none of them understand the work he does". This theory may also have been reinforced by the second redesigns of [=SMG4=], [=SMG3=] and Fishy Boopkins, plus a refresh for Meggy. ''HOWEVER'', if this theory turns out to be true, then during ''[=SMG4=] Movie: It's Gotta Be Perfect'', [=SMG4=] might continue lashing out at his friends in the story, paraphrasing various criticisms that Luke has received IRL over the years.

[[WMG: The Anti-Meme Energy that [=SMG4=] absorbed during the Revelations Movie is what’s causing his insanity]]
* With the ending of the recent video, it’s blatantly obvious that [=SMG4=]‘s insanity is in some way linked to Niles. However, this troper doesn’t think that it’s a DemonicPossession. After all, Niles died in the Revelations Movie, and did so by peacefully moving on and rekindling his friendship with [=SMG0=]. Also, in the scene where [=SMG4=] lashed out at Mario during the Revelations Movie, his voice was in the same pitch as when he screams out about how his video needs to be perfect at the end of the announcement video.

* As of the movie’s release, [[spoiler: it’s revealed that what really kicked off [=SMG4=]'s complete insanity was him purchasing and using some kind of EldritchAbomination keyboard. What’s more, as stated by [=SMG3=], whatever it is, it is not composed of meme energy but rather "something completely different".]]

[[WMG: A character may die in IT’S GOTTA BE PERFECT.]]
Although the description of the movie’s synopsis might be hyperbolic regarding how the events will “change their lives forever”, there is a chance that someone may give up the ghost by the end of the video, although the Troper acknowledges that Boopkins, [=SMG3=], [=SMG4=], Bob, and Meggy will not be axed off after the trouble of redesigning them, some being redesigned twice.

Some potential candidates that may meet their end would include:
* Tari: Unless she gets a redesign and updated voicelines, it is possible that the gamer girl’s days are numbered, now that Meta Runner is over.
* Melony: A very unlikely option, though there is a slim possibility that [=SMG4=] might kill her off in sheer rage, as an act of lashing out at some of his critics who criticised him for not using her to solve some major problems in recent times ever since the Cosmology Saga ended.
* [=SMG1=] and [=SMG2=]: They may not stand a chance against [=SMG4=] in his most unstable meme-powered state, should the God Box’s influence manifest into another Eldritch god like Zero.
* Alternatively, to the relief of many, there will be simply no deaths, unless the old designs of 3, 4, Boopkins and Meggy would count as such.
* As of the movie’s premeire, [[spoiler: turns out that nobody dies at all, though their lives were changed forever, as the description states, by the fact that Peach's Castle is said to be permanently destroyed by the end of the movie.]]
[[WMG:The BigBad of IT’S GOTTA BE PERFECT will be a TakeThat towards the overly negative "fans" of the show]]
* Jossed. The Big Bad doesn't represent these kinds of "fans" at all.
[[WMG:Mr. Yeast will have an important role in IT'S GOTTA BE PERFECT]]
Most likely, He will either be the villain, be [=SMG4=]'s victim or will be the one to save [=SMG4=]
* Jossed. He doesn't appear at all

[[WMG:The Perfection Keyboard (name pending) will be responsible for War Of The Fat Italians 2023]]
Although the hubbub with the Perfect Video is done with, there are still many unanswered questions about the Perfection Keyboard and the red mass that it generated from [=SMG4=]'s working on the video. Who made the keyboard? Is the little icon that advertised it the next antagonist? Will the pit that destroyed Peach's castle for the final time be involved somewhat?

I believe that this is sort of an inverse of the Cosmology Saga: while the first half, Genesis ended with a [=WOTFI=] and the second half ended with the Revelations movie, this new saga could have ended it's first half with ''It's Gotta Be Perfect'' and the second half will end with [=WOTFI=] 2023.

[[WMG: TheStinger of IT'S GOTTA BE PERFECT will be relevant to the show's continuity.]]
This troper believes that, [[spoiler: given that Peach's castle will likely be replaced permanently and Peach herself is still trapped there]], it can go the following ways: [[spoiler: 1) one of the videos dealing with fallout will involve a rescue operation for Peach; 2) the gang simply assumes she died, while she is still alive and believes that they left her for dead, causing her to perform a FaceHeelTurn; 3) there will be at least a ContinuityNod given, with Peach talking about how horrible it was inside "that hole"; 4) Peach will either [[KilledOffForReal die]] or [[AndIMustScream remain trapped there forever]]. That's not out of question, given how she's been DemotedToExtra in recent years.]]

[[WMG: The TV Adware that sold [=SMG4=] the cursed keyboard is [[{{VideoGame/Deltarune}} Mike/Tenna]].]]

[[WMG: The second part of the "Perfect Video" arc will rotate around the Glitchy Gang finding a new hang out spot, the power vacuum left by Princess Peach being sucked into the ground, and the void hole]]
After the events of "It's gotta be perfect", The castle was sucked into the ground and left a gaping hole in its place, taking Peach along with it, leaving [=SMG4=] and his gang without their usual hangout spot. Now, this would make a fine place to leave… but there hasn't been a playlist made for the Arc, meaning that it's likely still going. What I'm thinking is that the next few videos will center around three different things: [=SMG4=] and pals trying to find a new spot to relax, and mostly failing; The remnants of the kingdom trying to re-establish their rule after the castle and Peach pulled a [[Film/{Poltergeist}]], possibly having a new major antagonist fill the spot; and special forces and the like trying to figure out what to do with the hole.
* Jossed already. Luke has stated on Twitter that this isn’t even an arc.

[[WMG: The TV Adware is NotEvilJustMisunderstood, or at the very least, a WellIntentionedExtremist]]
While it definitely seems malevolent at first, it could also be assumed it’s only doing this as a way to help people, albeit in a twisted way. For instance, the Eldritch keyboard did indeed help [=SMG4=] with making the perfect video, but isolated him in doing so and resulted in the castle being destroyed. As detailed below, the TV Adware may have been the one to put up the listing for the Showgrounds, which could be an apology gift for accidentally causing the castle to be destroyed. And more recently, in We Interrupt This Broadcast, Meggy wants to find what happened to One Shot Wren, and guess where she learns it from? A static, ominous TV commercial inside his old home.

[[WMG: The TV Adware was the one who put up the listing for the Showgrounds]]
If you look carefully at the listing of this plot of land, there is a TV at the end of the listing name. Fishy Boopkins stated that he didn't know about this listing before, reinforcing this theory.

[[WMG: The GrandFinale arc will be focused around TheMultiverse]]
Specifically, the What If scenarios showcased within certain videos, as well as a crossover with other Glitch shows like Meta Runner and Murder Drones. Alongside this, this troper also predicts the villainous faction would be akin to Team Rainbow Rocket, being comprised of alternate universe counterparts of all the previous arc villains and villains in other shows, being lead by an alternate version of Niles.

[[WMG: Meggy will undergo a Redemption Arc]]
A common complaint from communities of the fandom such as the [=SMG4=] subreddit is that Meggy has been more abusive towards Mario in episodes, with Mario’s Tunnel of Doom being a recent of many examples, coupled with and not helped by total lack of punishment whenever she does something just as bad or arguably worse than her figurative brother.

This will eventually reach a boiling point where Mario, although he had no deliberate intent, will screw up Meggy’s coaching session that jeopardises her chances at graduating Omina Academy by costing her credits needed to graduate. This enrages Meggy past a boiling point where she not only verbally blows up at Mario, but strangled him to a life-threatening extent that leaves [=SMG4=] and [=SMG3=] with horrific injuries via corrupted textures akin to what [=SMG1=] and [=SMG2=] were left with when Zero/Niles killed Spudnik.

This is followed by a lone visit to Mario in the hospital where Tari reluctantly walks in to tell Meggy that Karen has mandated the smol bean attend an intervention meeting with most of the Glitchy Gang, consisting of Luigi, Saiko, Bob, Melony, 3, 4, Karen, and Tari herself. Each member will go over what Karen has made them reflect and think about in order to address Meggy’s aggressive behaviour right then and there, being serious to the point where not only Tari will be unable to defend her best friend despite how much she strongly cares for her, but 3 might bring up Niles in a manner not even Melony will be able to refute despite loathing her former boyfriend’s murderer.

The outcome of this meeting will be Karen and Saiko agreeing on a reluctant, but necessary course of action as team moms; to ground Meggy indefinitely until she properly reconciles with Mario.
* Jossed, at least partially. Meggy graduates just fine - with Mario's indirect help, even.

[[WMG: One Shot Wren will turn out to be a jerk once Meggy finally finds him]]
* Even worse than just a jerk, Wren’s a full on villain.
** Confirmed.

[[WMG: Guesses for what the Wild West Arc may hold.]]
If Meggy’s search for One-Shot Wren constitutes as the objective of the next story arc, here are the following hypothetical developments and scenarios that may or may not happen.

* The TV Adware from IT’S GOTTA BE PERFECT has a hand in luring both Meggy and the entire [=SMG4=] cast to the Wild West.
* The whole storyline of Meggy’s search may potentially be called “The Wild West Wren Arc.”
* One-Shot Wren will not only be the central villain and will be such an awful person, but his death and a devastating confirmation to his downfall will deal a significant blow to Meggy, both in her ego and spirit.

[[WMG:The one who hired those inklings to steal Meggy's beanie is the current ArcVillain.]]
And likely the same one who sent [=SMG4=] that eldritch keyboard, and added the Showgrounds on Boopkins' list. As it seems suspiciously coincidental that those brats ran to the vandalized statue.
* Confirmed: [[spoiler:It was One-Shot Wren who hired those inklings to steal that beanie.]]

[[WMG:The central villain of the arc has control over electronics and media, and is attracted to obsession and desires.]]
In "It's Gotta Be Perfect…" [=SMG4=] wanted to create the perfect video the computer immediately show him a site to buy a demonic keyboard, in "Our New Home" [=SMG4=] wanting a new place to live finds the showgrounds on the real estate's computer which Boopkins who works there has NEVER seen the listing before and in "We Interrupt This Broadcast…" Meggy after seeing a statue of one shot wren vandalized went and search the abandoned house to which the tv turn on and shows a commercial of where wren is currently living before immediately turning off, something Tari finds suspicious.
* Adding onto this, Wren was sent the Simulation Machine when he fell off, and guess what was on the letter he learnt of it from? A TV with a bow tie, the exact same emblem as the Adware.

[[WMG: The ArcVillain will be revealed as NotEvilJustMisunderstood]]
Given the emphasis on show business and the TV icon at the end of the "Help Me" GMOD map is wearing what looks like a ringmaster's top hat and collar, as well as the concept of a TV is general, its possible that the villain is just trying to lure the gang into taking part in its (very likely dangerous) show, possibly the 2023 Meme Games. Supporting the idea that its not inherently malevolent is that it chose to freeze and "rewind" the cowboy-ified cast ''just'' as they were about to be blown up by [=SMG3's=] dynamite.
* Jossed in the case of One Shot Wren, who is undeniably evil by now. Still however ambiguous with the Adware.

[[WMG: The Wild West episode will be a BaitAndSwitch]]
There seems to be a lot of emphasis on the upcoming Wild West episode… ''too much'' emphasis, there also seems to be some sorta glitching happening to the gang, as seen with the end of "Ready to Ride" and [[https://twitter.com/smg4official/status/1675580309184675840 this image]]. What I'm thinking is that if they get to the western town (I'm saying if because I feel like there's a possibility they won't be in a western at all), the Wild West theme will either only last half or %90 of an episode before the façade of it falls away (maybe even literally with fake buildings and backdrops) and the true villain reveals themselves (possibly acting like a director).
* Confirmed [[spoiler:it was a simulation created by One-Shot Wren with the aid of the TV Adware.]]
[[WMG: The Wild West Arc ends with Tari getting her own house.]]
Every member of the main cast has a place to call their home, all of them involving a few episodes to highlight their personality and growth… the exception is Tari, who doesn't seem to have any episodes involving her own living, and it doesn't seem like she lived in Peach's castle either.
* She does have an apartment in the town of Onett. An apartment above a video game store, even.
* Jossed.

[[WMG: One Shot Wren and the TV Adware have history.]]
This troper just feel it’d be a good way to properly link Wren into the Adware story. Perhaps it’s in a similar manner to [[WesternAnimation/GravityFalls Ford and Bill’s history]], where the Adware pretended to be Wren’s ally to manipulate him and use him for it’s own ends.
* Seemingly confirmed. [[spoiler:The letter sent to Wren when he got the Simulation Machine has the exact emblem as the Adware]].

[[WMG: The Adware isn’t actually just a computer virus, but an entire malevolent organisation.]]

[[WMG: One Shot Wren's favorite food was potatoes, specifically raw potatoes.]]
This would explain the focus on raw potatoes in both "Ready to Ride" and "Western Spaghetti".

[[WMG: The TV Organization is a tie-in to Meta Runner]]
Considering that Tari has been given more focus. Also that the simulation Wren was using was capable (to a degree) of bringing the characters to the real world.

[[WMG:Possibilities of what the TV entity is]]
* [[AIIsACrapshoot A malicious AI]] with control over other technological devices.
* A demonic entity based around greed guising as an Adware.
* Remnants of the God Box’s Anti-Meme energy, composed into a new creature.
* A TakeThat towards the overly negative fans of the show, perhaps intending on reverting the world to how it was in the classic era.
* A misunderstood WellIntentionedExtremist who genuinely just wants to help people, [[NiceJobBreakingItHero but whose assistance always goes wrong somehow]].
* An entire organization who for some reason are targeting the gang.

[[WMG:If the Adware turns out to be an individual, [[SamusIsAGirl it’ll be a female]].]]

[[WMG:The show’s GrandFinale will [[BackForTheFinale bring back Niles]], be it through revival or alternate universes.]]

[[WMG:Team Killer Ink is the TV Adware's next target]]
Much like One-Shot Wren, Team Killer Ink lost hard to a Splatfest champion (Meggy in their case), and on the last Splatfest, even. So who's to say they won't get a similar "gift" from the entity that Wren received, whether it's another digital world… or a chance for revenge?

[[WMG:The TV Adware was controlling Mario during "Mario Goes Coo Coo Crazy".]]
Some viewers suspect that Mario may not be in complete control of his actions here. While obsessing over Pokemon and capturing people are both things that Mario would do, there are a few hints that suggest the TV Adware is somehow controlling him. Namely, when Mario tunes Luigi out while he's talking, you can see and hear TV static in the background. Mario's speech about rock music (that doesn't seem to be a reference to any particular meme) also raises red flags, being spoken in an unfitting voice and subtitled in a text font that's a bit too… "classy" for someone like Mario.

[[WMG:Marty is the "king" that Mario is working for.]]
And is planning to use the notebook to lure [=SMG3=] into a trap.
* Confirmed in the "War of the Fat Italians 2023" trailer where he is also revealed to own a casino called "Paisano Casino".

[[WMG:The identity of Mario’s “king”.]]
At the end of Trust No One, Mario is revealed to have worked for a mysterious king obscured as a shadowy figure the whole time, retrieving [=SMG3=]’s diary as part of his orders.

Here are some guesses on who this king may be:

* The TV Adware’s leader/kingpin: To continue on with and potentially conclude the ongoing Adware Saga.
* Bowser: He may potentially hold a grudge against the [=SMGs=], should he learn that Peach had turned into a monstrosity after being left to rot with the ruins of her castle deep underground. Plus, upon his defeat, either his death or redesign upon redemption could line up perfectly with the series straying away from Nintendo [=IPs=] ever since the fallout of the whole Lawsuit Arc.
* [=SMG3=]’s Boss: He would be livid that [=SMG3=] had abandoned his career in villainy, so he would use Mario as a pawn to steal his former henchman’s most confidential belonging to use his secrets as leverage.
* All Jossed. The "War of the Fat Italians 2023" trailer reveals that its actually Marty who also now owns a casino called "Paisano Casino".

[[WMG: Mario is undergoing his villain arc.]]
There are two paths to approach this.

* Path 1: It is possible that years of both physical and verbal abuse have finally taken their toll on Mario’s health. Assuming he may be holding onto a deep grudge against his friends for abandoning him to the brink of insanity from the events in If Mario Was The Last Man On Earth, the mystery king might use this as an inciting trick to convince Mario to steal [=SMG3=]’s notebook as an early phase of their mutual revenge scheme. Meggy is likely next, as if to address criticisms of her history of hostility towards Mario for the past year or two.

* Path 2: Mario is possessed by The TV Adware, should a viewer’s keen eye observe that some of his recent to present actions are definitively not of his own volition. This could also be another devious trick to goad the GLITCHY Gang into attacking Mario to the extent that their universe falls apart because of his influence as the universe’s avatar.

[[WMG: [[VideoGame/FalloutNewVegas The game was rigged from the start]]]]
What I mean by this is that the WOTFI '23 poll has a set outcome, with a poll leading to a good/bad outcome no matter what. Another idea is that the polls have a fixed outcome, with one option greatly outmatching the other.

[[WMG: The TV Entity is doing this for [[Main/ForTheEvulz Shits and Giggles]]]]

[[WMG: What the other two orbs Zero shot out caused.]]
Back in the flashback in Into The Dark Web, Zero shot out not just one, but three orbs when he was crash landing into Brazil. We know one of them caused [=SMG3=] to land in the Mushroom Kingdom instead of the Internet Graveyard, but what about the other two? Some possible things they may have caused could be:
* Hitting Waluigi, granting him his Rejection Powers.
* Being used by Axol to give Inkweaver its abilities (perhaps the orb’s energy is within the red orb Inkweaver has).

[[WMG: The TV Entity’s fate]]
* Redemption: Really depends on if he ends up having redeeming qualities, but if he does, this could end up happening.
* Defeated without dying: Maybe he could end up getting imprisoned for all of eternity somewhere. Likely the Eldritch Goop pit, or maybe the Castle’s basement.
* Death: Definitely the most likely option. There could be quite a few options for how it happens, too. Thanks to a pattern I’ve noticed, I also speculate his death will likely be violent and gruesome, with him dying in disgrace (likely questioning how he could be defeated, or trying to take the heroes out with him).
** Getting his screen shattered.
*** Confirmed.
** Being decapitated.
** Getting caught in an explosion.
** Getting consumed alive by Eldritch Goop.
** Electrocution by water, as fellow TV person Hal Monitor can attest.
** A mixture of multiple of these methods (perhaps getting his head ripped off, but surviving it, only to be tossed into a blob of Eldritch Goop and consumed).
* [[TheBadGuyWins Winning]]: Almost impossible, but could still maybe happen.

[[WMG: Season 13’s finale will be a BigDamnMovie and the final part of the overarching story throughout the season.]]
It just feels the most thematically appropriate if they don’t want to make the TV Entity a recurring antagonist in later seasons, and would be an interesting change of pace. Plus, there will be an [=SMG4=] Crew episode to celebrate Christmas, so they could easily release an arc episode instead of a standard Christmas special on the 23rd.
[[WMG: The upcoming Arc would be "Bootleg Arc" and it's about [=SMG3=] bootlegging a lot of toons with [=SMG4=], WebAnimation/MurderDrones, or WebAnimation/TheAmazingDigitalCircus characters (except for [=SMG4=], Meggy, and Mario)]]
* Here's how he bootlegs the toon characters:
** First, he could catch a toon as fast as he can
** Then, he put them into the left tube that connects to the other tubes
** He then snatches a [=SMG4=], Murder Drones, or The Amazing Digital Circus character and put them into the right side of the tube
** He closes the door so they can't escape from the tube
** He pressed the bootleg button to bootleg a toon with another
** Finally, he then takes the bootlegged character in the middle tube and then puts to his SNITCH PRODUCTIONS studio and forces them to be his new assistant
* As for WOTFI 2024, it has to be about Meggy, [=SMG4=], and Mario competing with [=SMG3=] for bootlegging toons all for making an assistant for his channel "SNITCH PRODUCTIONS" (which later the bootlegged toons join on [=SMG4=]'s side)
* This is literally just the plot of Film/ChipNDaleRescueRangers2022. Even if it did happen, I think they would probably swap out [=SMG3=] for someone else since it wouldn't make sense following his HeelFaceTurn.

[[WMG: Team Killer Ink will start a smear campaign against Meggy, and the TV Entity (we'll call him Puzzlevision) is funding it]]
They're gonna use Desti, Axol and Wren's deaths as a basis for the campaign, claiming Meggy was there when all three of them died (which was true, but she actually didn't kill them). They will also use Main/ManipulativeEditing to further ram Meggy into the mud.

* Additionally, Puzzlevision may also expose [=SMG4=]'s involvement in Peach's mutation and the destruction of her Castle to the Mushroom Kingdom, just to further spite Meggy and the crew.

[[WMG: Alternatively, the next arc will be a crossover with WebAnimation/DevilArtemis]]
Possibly also tying in to the [=DAU=]s own ongoing arc, ''Into the Kermitverse''. By some unexplained reason, [=SMG4=] and Mario wake up in the middle of Cell's arena, and hijinks ensue as they try to figure out who or what made this happen, and how they can return home.

[[WMG: Mario will be the focus of the final part of the Adware Saga]]
Every part of the Adware Saga so far has focused on one or two of the main characters (The two [=SMGs=] in the Perfect Video and Notebook segments, Meggy and Tari in the Western Spaghetti segment), so it’d just be logical to make the character who’s been here since the very beginning be the focus of the very last part of this grand saga.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Arc related (2024-2026)]]

[[WMG: A character will die alongside Mr. Puzzles.]]
Given the series’s history of killing off characters every time the stakes get high for arcs or sagas of this magnitude, it is to be expected that at least one character will bite the dust before or upon the conclusion of the Adware Saga, provided that it progresses to such for 2024.

Possible candidates:

* Princess Peach, given that she was turned into a monstrosity and wasn’t all that relevant leading up to the ultimate end of her castle.
* Mr. Puzzles himself, being the arc/saga villain and all.
** [[spoiler:Confirmed.]]
* Melony, unless she is either recasted, redesigned or both, may be due on the chopping block, as she hasn’t done anything significant since the Cosmology Saga concluded.
* Eggdog, as part of either the Adware, one of his remaining affiliates, or even Dr. Eggman’s twisted means of getting back at [=SMG3=].
* Bob, mainly due to the fact that his voice (Acapella Box) is going to be shut down in June.
* Clench, either as a hero, or as an affiliate of the TV Adware. In either case, newly introduced characters with full-on voice acting tend to not be able to stick around, as we've learned with Niles, the Box Club Leader, and the real [=SMG0=].

[[WMG: Fishy Boopkins is the Adware’s next target.]]
[[https://www.reddit.com/r/SMG4/comments/1acix79/analysis_of_ceo_of_rizz/ This reddit post]] offers a pretty good reason as to why this might happen.

[[WMG: The Adware's true form is actually [[WesternAnimation/{{Pibby}} the Darkness]].]]

[[WMG: All of the Adware’s targets are based on the coloured lines in a TV’s Signal Lost screen (plus predictions for who future colours could be).]]
* Yellow:
* Cyan: One-Shot Wren, as his eyes seem to be cyan.
* Green: Fishy Boopkins, as discussed above.
* Pink:
** Saiko, given that pink is a common part of her colour scheme.
** Melony, as most watermelon-flavour foods are pink.
* Red: Marty/Mario.
* Blue: [=SMG4=].
* White: The Adware himself.
[[WMG: The Adware may be responsible for the creation of Clench from Tari’s robot arm.]]
* Definitely could be possible, considering we know the Adware has a connection to technology, and Clench’s voice is quite similar to Brendan Blaber, the Adware’s voice actor.

[[WMG: The TV-Head guy and the keyboard are separate entities]]
The TV-Head is playing more of a ChaoticNeutral role, setting events in motion or helping advance events that he thinks would make "good content" (Hence why he gave [=SMG4=] the cursed keyboard, but later has his symbol on the site of their new castle).

The keyboard, on the other hand, is merely a piece of a larger entity: an EldritchAbomination that feeds on ideas, and can infect people through pieces of media it previously infected (I mainly got this idea from Tari comparing the MeatMoss to [=Zer0=], and that it wanted [=SMG4=] to finish the perfect video).

[[WMG:Someone doesn't want Tari to remember her past.]]
Why else Clench couldn't say where she came from?

[[WMG: Bob will get a new voice]]
Considering Acapella Box will be shutting down in June, assuming he won't just be KilledOffForReal. Perhaps he might even get another redesign to compliment his new voice.
* This event will hinge on a LostVoicePlot that starts with Bob getting his voice removed for excessive swearing (maybe by a surgeon, some powerful deity or as a wacky side effect), culminating into a scene where Bob's voice is somehow destroyed or lost forever, leaving him no choice but to get another.
** Or less likely (but funnier), he will end up as TheSpeechless and [[TalkingWithSigns do his talking and rapping through signs]].
* If they want to keep Bob's new voice similar to his old one, Alex "Creator/TheAutarch" Rochon (voice of Caine in ''WebAnimation/TheAmazingDigitalCircus'') could be a good candidate.

[[WMG: The [=PuzzleVision=] Arc will reference various shows across five different TV genres.]]
The next episode scheduled for Saturday, March 23rd, 2024, will be a parody of Blue’s Clues, which was also referenced by The Fairly [=OddParents=] in their Channel Chasers special.

There are also five cards in the banner to take note of, which suggests that it is a 5-parter. Each part will have Mario, the two [=SMGs=], Meggy, Tari, and Bob progress through different genres to stop [=PuzzleVision=] in order to escape, starting with kids’ education to eventually the end with adult genres, either action or horror depending on their developments and/or [=PuzzleVision=]’s interests and desires as the arc goes on.

* Part 1:Education Television
** Blue’s Clues
*** Confirmed
** Dora the Explorer

* Part 2: Fantasy Adventure
** Adventure Time
** The Owl House
*** Confirmed for fantasy, but it's mainly based around Disney movies than the above two.

* Part 3: Comedy
** Tom and Jerry
** The Simpsons
** Looney Tunes
** Animaniacs
** [=SpongeBob=] [=SquarePants=]
** South Park
** The Fairly [=OddParents=]
*** Bonus points if meta jokes are made about some similarities to Channel Chasers.
** The Big Bang Theory
** Friends
** Modern Family
*** Somewhat confirmed, as it's based around Scooby-Doo

* Part 4: Action
** Dragon Ball
** The Powerpuff Girls
** Samurai Jack
** Gargoyles
** Marvel
** DC Comics
** My Hero Academia
** Pokémon
** Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
** Callbacks to The Anime Arc
** Callbacks to WOTFI 2023.
** A FilmNoir setting, like Film/TheMalteseFalcon1941, Film/Chinatown, or maybe something more comical like Film/WhoFramedRogerRabbit or Webcomic/ProblemSleuth
*** This category is jossed, as part 4 is a game show.

* Part 5: Horror
** Murder Drones
*** Bonus points if they say, “Today’s show is brought to you by the letter N.”
** The Amazing Digital Circus
** Courage the Cowardly Dog
** Alfred Hitchcock Presents
** Horror movies such as Nightmare on Elm Street and IT.
** Callbacks to the Cosmology Saga.
** Callbacks to It’s Gotta Be Perfect and Western Spaghetti.
** Shoutouts to Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, provided that Meggy encounters Death/The Grim Reaper, even if in an unrelated form.
** Completely Jossed. It’s a movie that parodies all sorts of shows, but none of them are horror.

* Additionally, as a bit of FridgeBrilliance, maybe the show parodies will get progressively darker and more mature each part, as a subtle nod to how TV broadcasts usually start on kid-friendly shows before showing adult shows in the late hours of the day.

[[WMG: The ratings for the [=PuzzleVision=] original episode released will affect what will happen in the next original]]
The ratings may have an important role because, in real broadcasts, ratings are important as they determine how successful a show is and if it should continue. If WOTFI 2023 was any indication, it would affect the outcome.
* Maybe it'll be like the ratings during Mettaton Ex's fight in VideoGame/{{Undertale}}, where if the ratings get high/low enough, the arc will end prematurely, with Puzzles either congratulating himself on giving the fans what they want, or lamenting how hard it is to keep the fanbase happy.
* [[spoiler:Confirmed. 5 star ratings give Mr. Puzzles power in the Puzzlevision movie.]]

[[WMG:Mr. Puzzles is [=Gooby4=].]]
And the content farm was both a trap and a test for his current plan.

[[WMG:[=PuzzleVision=] was a program from Meggy's childhood.]]
Why else would she say that she's seen the symbol before?

[[WMG:Mr. Puzzles is an [=SMG=].]]
Mr. Puzzles is just a pseudonym. His real name is [=SMG5=].
[[WMG:Mr. Puzzles will have a VillainSong.]]
If there’s any [=SMG4=] villain who’d make sense to have a villain song, it’d be him. It could possibly be a DarkReprise of TV Time, just, of course, extended to last as long as a villain song normally would.
* Most likely confirmed. Brendan Blaber (Mr Puzzles’ voice actor) has stated he’ll be doing another song for it.
* Completely confirmed with Creative Control.

[[WMG:Mario is aware that something is wrong in the [=PuzzleVision=] programmes]]
In "Mario's Mysteries", Mario tries to get out of frame but is pushed by the edge of the frame as [=SMG4=] moves to the next room and the ending has Mario feeling like he wants to escape as [=SMG4=] has gotten surprisingly more violent. At the end of "Once Upon an [=SMG4=]", Mario asks [=SMG3=] how he will spend his money if they're stuck here, which sounds like it's not referring to just them locked in a tower, but also referring to everyone who's trapped in this programme.
* Maybe that's why he's just been reduced to a head in all of the shows so far, so that he doesn't try and break free.
* [[spoiler:Confirmed. After Mario messes up Mr Puzzles's game show, the former gets placed in a cage on the outside of the aspect ratio, and when the latter undergoes his SanitySlippage, Mario exits out of a CRT TV screen.]]

[[WMG:There will be a [[VideoGame/FridayNightFunkinMariosMadness Yo Soy Luigi]] reference in Scooby Mario.]]
With Mr. L appearing as the monster for the episode, it just makes sense.
* Jossed, for better or for worse.

[[WMG:Clench will be a SpannerInTheWorks]]
"Scooby-Mario" marks the first Puzzlevision Original with Tari as an "actress" (in this case, as Velma Dinkley), and we know Mr. Puzzles uses MindControl to make his actors get with the program; he'll probably even give Tari an extra dose so he doesn't have a repeat of what happened in ''[[WebAnimation/SMG4MovieWesternSpaghetti Western Spaghetti]]''. Who's to say, though, that Clench will be affected by whatever brainwashing Tari would undoubtedly be put through? Not only was he just recently brought into existence, but if you remember [[Recap/SMG4NoTVMakeMarioNoOkieDokie "No TV Make Mario No Okie Dokie"]], he conveniently went offline before the [=SMG4=] gang ended up in the basement. And if the TV (read: Mr. Puzzles' head) displayed a hypnotic screen, then Clench not having any eyes would potentially have worked to his advantage here, assuming he came back online sometime later.

Picture it: Tari's saying very "Velma" things, Clench becomes worried and asks her if she's okay, and Tari not only fails to recognize him, but focuses more on the "mystery". As much of a goofball as Clench is, it's safe to assume he would care enough about Tari to tell when she's NotHerself, and want to get to the bottom of her strange behavior. He could snap her out of it by reminding her of who she really is or of the bond they were starting to share, quack like a duck to trigger her love for her favorite animal, bring up any potential history he may have with Mr. Puzzles… or just [[BeatTheCurseOutOfHer smack her]].
* [[spoiler:Jossed. Clench doesn't do anything in this.]]

[[WMG: Melony’s absence in the Puzzlevision storyline has been due to Mr. Puzzles knowing of how dangerous she could be if she were to have a programming malfunction, and thus just hasn’t used her whatsoever as a way to avoid her malfunctioning and going Fierce Deity on his ass.]]

[[WMG: Mr. Puzzles will die, but he'll die [[FaceDeathWithDignity happily]].]]
Why? Because in death, somebody [[PetTheDog finally gave him a 5 star rating]].
* Based on a pattern with every Glitch villain death (the first dies violently in disgrace, while the second dies in a tame way in honour), this isn’t likely considering Wren died with dignity already.
* [[spoiler:Jossed. Mr. Puzzles dies in tears.]]

[[WMG: The Next Mr. Puzzles Arc]]
You know, [[spoiler: assuming he [[DisneyDeath happened to survive getting yeeted into the distance by Luigi the Meat Mallet]].]]
* Here's an interesting idea for you all, unlike other arcs where they ended with a WOTFI, this one would START with a WOTFI, WOTFI 2024. It would focus on [=SMG3=] restarting Snitch Productions to promote his streams and cafe, and him and [=SMG4=] going into another rivalry over competing channels. Only this time around [=SMG4=] would find out that [[CharacterDevelopment SMG3 had grown as an artist and shifted his focus on making content he is happy with rather than outdoing SMG4.]] Likewise [=SMG3=] would understand that [=SMG4=] only sought to protect his job and passion from competition. And the two would agree to begin mutually collaborating. Together they would grow their respective channels to new heights and begin establishing a proper media company with them, their friends would even join the fun and contribute what skills they have. For example, Bob would restart his rapping career under a music division of the company, and Meggy would open a sports arena and/or channel, maybe even reviving Splatfest through it, perhaps in honor of Desti… But these actions catch the attention of Mr. Puzzles and he would begin observing them from the shadows. And "coincidentally" everyone would begin adopting shady practices to grow the company, like snuffing out smaller businesses for instance. And "conveniently", the Puzzlevision website would go back online as Mr. Puzzles would document these events like these were tv episodes/movies and he was a reviewer, all seen as part of another ARG-esque marketing campaign like last time. Soon these crimes would be exposed, and the media company would be in severe legal trouble, and their products and productions would start financially and critically flopping. And soon enough everyone noticed Mr. Puzzles and assume he is the one behind them committing shady practices and their company failing because of them, a battle may or may not ensue as they hunt down Mr. Puzzles to bring him to justice… [[BaitAndSwitch only for him to reveal]] [[NotMeThisTime he hadn't even touched anything.]] The "heroes" had gone down a dark path and brought their company to ruin entirely on their own. He was just there to simply enjoy the show they had put on. [[CallBack And he ends up giving the cast 5 stars]] [[YourApprovalFillsMeWithShame for such a wonderful performance,]] [[MyGodWhatHaveIDone making everyone realize how far they had fallen.]]

[[WMG: [=SMG4=] Doesn’t Meme For 1 Second is still part of the Puzzlevision saga]]
Notice the lack of [=SMG4=] at the start like every other episode, a trait only shared with the 5 Puzzlevision ones, or the episode featuring a song, which were some of the main parts of the Puzzlevision 5 parter, or even the similarities to Phineas and Ferb Get Busted, which lines up with how the Puzzlevision 5 parter consisted of show parodies.
