''Mystic Destinies: Serendipity of Aeons'' is a VisualNovel / OtomeGame created by Aeon Dream Studios for PC. The main character, default name Tsubasa Fujimoto, is a twenty year old college student who finds out that her mother is a sorceress cursed with immortality. She created the protagonist from alchemy to be a homunculus, or an artifical human, so she could pass on her curse. After a ritual to transfer her powers, she disappears and forces the protagonist to figure out her new sorceress powers on her own. After an outburst of her power, she discovers the supernatural world and has to choose one of five partners to help her get control of her new powers.

There is also a sequel in development, called ''Mystic Destinies: Echoes'', which will feature a new protagonist and five of the antagonists from the first game as romance options.

!! Tropes specific to this game:
* AllMythsAreTrue: A lot of mythological creatures actually exist in the game, such as phoenixes, vampires, demigods, and demons.
* CherryBlossoms: A couple of Hikaru's scenes happen in a forest of cherry blossoms, and there are even two CGs of cherry blossoms.
* CurseEscapeClause: The heroine's mother figures out she can get rid of her curse of immortality by transferring it to her daughter.
* DominantSpeciesGenes: Half dragons can only mate with humans, and the children are always dragons. In fact, no matter how many generations of half dragons are born, the dragon blood never gets weaker.
* DownerEnding: Any of the bad endings qualify as this.
* EarnYourHappyEnding: Most of the routes have a lot of bad things happening that the heroine and love interest have to overcome before they have their happy ending.
* ElementalBarrier: Most of the supernatural characters and the protagonist herself can make these to protect themselves from magic attacks.
* FantasticDrug: There are supernatural drugs that are safe for supernaturals, but humans can still take them. Although they give humans extra strength, stamina, and speed, they are extremely addictive and dangerous.
* TheFairFolk: The Fae exist in this world, and mostly live in Avalon.
* [[RedEyesTakeWarning Green Eyes Take Warning]]: Sorceresses' eyes turn green permanently when their powers emerge. It's so well known that an old saying is "Green eyes bring fury."
* HalfHumanHybrid: There are families of half dragons of various elements, created by a half dragon and a human breeding.
* HumanDisguise: Most of the supernaturals in the game have a {{glamour}} that hides their true form and makes them look human.
* InstantCostumeChange: Using a gear crystal instantly changes your outfit to your magical armor. The [[PlayableCharacter protagonist]] even compares it to magical girl anime costume changes.
* InvisibleToNormals: The supernatural district, Chouwa, is hidden from humans eyes and can only be entered by supernaturals. There are various entrances throughout the regular city.
* LandOfFaerie: The Fae live in Avalon, which is in a different realm than the human world.
* MagicalAccessory: Gear crystals, which are placed in jewelry or other things, have enchantments put on them to strengthen magic or control.
* {{Masquerade}}: The supernatural world is hidden from most humans. Only other supernaturals and friends of supernaturals know about it.
* {{Microtransactions}}: You pay separately for each character's route and epilogue.
* MultipleEndings: Each route has three good endings and several bad endings. The good endings are called Mystic, Passionate, and Dark.
* OurDragonsAreDifferent: Full blooded dragons have not been seen in many years, but they do still exist in the world. They also created half dragons.
* OurHomunculiAreDifferent: The [[PlayableCharacter protagonist]] is one of these, created through alchemy by a sorceress.
* ThePhoenix: Phoenixes are a race in the game, but have lost their power of rebirth for reasons they don't know.

* SoulJar: The heroine has to use one of these in Hikaru's route, when [[spoiler: he gets his soul blown into pieces.]]
* TheBadGuyWins: In a couple of bad endings, particularly [[spoiler: Shou and Tatsuya's bad endings.]]
* ThermalDissonance: Ice dragons don't really feel the cold, and their skin is naturally colder than humans. They even eat their food cold.
* TrainingTheGiftOfMagic: Hagiwara University is all about letting mages and supernaturals train their powers to become stronger and more efficient at magic.
* WhatMeasureIsANonHuman: The [[PlayableCharacter protagonist]] goes through this when she finds out she's a Homonculus, or an artifical human.
* WizardingSchool: There's a separate, hidden part of Hagiwara College where they train mages and supernatural beings.
* YearOutsideHourInside: Not as drastic as years, but the time in the Fae realm of Avalon runs quicker than the outside world.
