Rock Band World is the companion Website/Facebook app not really a video game, but the closest Administrivia/Namespace available to VideoGame/RockBand and VideoGame/RockBandBlitz; more so the latter because the app seems much more tailored to it than the former. In this, you can link your accounts to track your progress, challenges others to Score Wars, and complete goals which earn you coins. The latter one is the most notable, as they are both fun and pretty Troperiffic. There are three types: Standard difficulty based goals, ScavengerHunt goals, and Community goals (They require everyone get a certain number of stars by the end of the week, with varying degrees of success. A goal related to American Pie was completed within a day), created by either Harmonix or by users on the official website.

!!Tropes demonstrated by the goals
* EpicRiff: invoked "Celebrated Riffs". The goal's creator has said that he avoided songs from the third game, which is the reason for the lack of "Smoke on the Water" and "Crazy Train".
* EpicRocking: "Play For Long Time"
* GuideDangIt: "Hard Goal is Hard". The goal requires you to Gold Star three difficult songs. Fair enough. Only problem is, they don't list which songs to play, making the goal actually difficult. This was most likely unintentional; if it was intended, they would have said so.
* Instrumentals: "Vocal Yokels"
* LawyerFriendlyCameo: "The Cannonball Goal" is about "a certain animated series about a guy who becomes a human cannonball." The "Homerpallooza" episode of WesternAnimation/TheSimpsons
* MarathonBoss: Downplayed with the goals with a lot of songs, which are made marathons by the songs' durations compounding, but it's not one of the better examples as they can be played at a slow pace.
* NintendoHard: While most of the goals are reasonable, some goals are just purposefully hard, especially ones that require you to use specific power-ups.
* NonAppearingTitle: "The 'Oh, So That's the Name Of That Song' Goal" has songs like these. And yes, one of the songs was "Baba O'Reilly".
* NumberedSequels: The only goal to get one of these is the Scavenger Hunt goal "Rock Band Petting Zoo". With seventeen songs, "so think of this as the main event to Part 1's opening ceremony."
* PowerBallad: "The Power Ballad Challenge"
* PrecisionFStrike: "Cheap Bastard" is the only goal to contain a curse word.
* PunBasedTitle: Plenty of the goals. Notably the goal "Radio/Gaga", which is a bunch of songs with "radio" in the song title/band name and all the Music/LadyGaga songs, and "Medium Medium", a goal with songs about ghosts.
* RevenueEnhancingDevices: Aside from generic genre-based goals, very, very few goals are completable without buying additional songs. Good work, Harmonix.
* ScavengerHunt: These types of goals require you to play a bunch of unlisted songs
* ShoutOut: Plenty. For example, "Medium Rock" has "For those about to rock, we salute you with coins..."
* StepUpToTheMicrophone: "Open Mic Night"
* TemporaryOnlineContent: When the three Music/Metallica songs were pulled from the library, the "Master of Metallica" goal went with it.
* UnPerson: Rock Band Network songs are rarely ever included in the goals. In fact, when goals tell you to "play all songs of this type", they don't include those songs. Rock Band 3 are also excluded in community-created goals.
