''onEscapee'' is a CinematicPlatformer inspired by ''VideoGame/{{Flashback}}'' and ''VideoGame/AnotherWorld''. It was released for Platform/{{Amiga}} (1997), Platform/MicrosoftWindows (2004), and [[Platform/{{iOS}} iPhone]] (2009, as ''The Escapee''). All versions of the game have been made {{freeware}}.

!! onEscapee provides examples of:

* AlienAbduction: You start the game on a distant planet, the sole survivor of your abductors' shipwreck.
* {{Autodoc}}: A distortion on some walls indicate a regeneration station that brings you to full health before ejecting you. The regeneration process is pictured with x-ray shots, implying it does direct repair.
* BittersweetEnding: [[spoiler: You found survivors and managed to kill the nemesis! Unfortunately, your body temperature dropped, indicating to the survivors who commandeered a ship and is waiting for you that you died. By the time you leave the water, they had already left as the world starts to explode...]]
* CamelCase: The title is a stylized spelling of "One Escapee."
* DeadlyGas: A room after a teleporter is filled with said gas, and you need to pass through said teleporter to grab a keycard. It depletes the health meter, more quickly if you try running into the second room. Oddly, the PC version doesn't have a death scene for staying too long.
%%* TheManyDeathsOfYou: There are lots of them here. The end of the long play showcases most of them.
* MechaMooks: Robotic enemies with a laser weapon are standard, even having the same shield the player does.
* NintendoHard: Not many things are as obvious as they should be, and half of the enemies can instantly kill you too. And that's not including the many death traps in this game.
* ShoutOut: One character you find [[spoiler: at the end of the game, is a survivor who]] happens to look like Lester from ''VideoGame/AnotherWorld''.
* ViolationOfCommonSense: To get by the obstacle in the first part of the game, you are required to get hit by the disposal unit to be launched past it. This takes a huge chunk of your health by the way.
