A T-Rated EasternRPG, developed by [=GungHo=] and brought to you by Creator/AksysGames in 2010 for the Platform/{{PSP}}.

'Mimana Iyar Chronicle'' blends the traditional RPG elements of vast map exploration and treacherous dungeon spelunking. Engage in fast-paced battles in a quasi-3D environment where you control the character's movement and actions, and strategically command your party to turn the tide of battle. Your actions dictate how the story unfolds, through numerous fully-voiced event sequences.

!!This game provides examples of the following tropes:
* AccidentalPervert: Crais gets into this more often than he would like to.
* AndTheAdventureContinues: [[spoiler:The game ends with a SequelHook, as Crais, Sophie and Tinon embark in a mission for more gemstones.]]
* AndNowYouMustMarryMe: An interesting solution to the NakedFirstImpression, see below.
* ArtificialStupidity: The AI controlled party members tend to make poor decisions during combat, leaving Crais to deal with most of the enemies by himself.
* AsYouKnow: Defied, zig-zagged and invoked at various times. See also BreakingTheFourthWall below.
* BreakingTheFourthWall: Occasionally.
--> '''Melrose:''' "Why not just show the scene where Crais explains everything? Is this writer really this lazy?"
* CharacterDevelopment: Crais starts off as a loser jerkass who is rude to everyone he meets, but he eventually begins to care about his teammates and change for the better after [[spoiler:Sophie protects him from the Black Knight]].
* CovertPervert: Melrose and her penchant for ripping people's clothing off ForScience does come off as an example.
* EvilIsNotAToy: How the gang sees Melrose. ''"Bad Melrose! No summoning evil gods!"''
* ForScience: The reason Melrose does anything, from gushing about the library to, well, insisting someone takes their clothes off so she could "study" them.
* GottaCatchThemAll: Sophie's goal is to find all seven magic gems to enter the Temple of Water.
* HopelessBossFight: The first battle against Feide is unwinnable; same with the Black Knight.
%%* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: Crais is this trope personified.
* TheLostLenore: Coral is one to Crais, which is the reason why he turned into a jerk before the events of the game.
* LukeIAmYourFather: [[spoiler:Feide is revealed to be the homunculus of Crais' sister, Coral.]]
* MobileMaze: The Forest of Doubt is not only mobile, you can (and must) control its changes to progress through. The same applies to the final dungeon.
* MoralityPet: Sophie quickly becomes one for Crais.
* NakedFirstImpression: How Crais meets [[spoiler:Tinon]].
* RagtagBunchOfMisfits: A mercenary spellsword, a priestess, a scholar, a warrior princess, and a shopkeeper in serious debt.
* RelationshipValues: Crais can decide to spend time with one of his teammates after finishing a mission, triggering different scenes.
* ScaryLibrarian: Offend Melrose and [[BerserkButton her love for books]], and this is what you end up with.
* SelfDeprecation: The [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1njPCLZAuBw official English trailer for the game]] [[LampshadeHanging lampshades]] the UnwantedHarem and overall silliness of some of the plot points, as well as pokes fun at the game's voice acting ("Celebrity voices impersonated"). Reportedly, that amateur look is intentional.
* ShoutOut: Oh so many.
** Melrose's mission is to [[Franchise/StarTrek "seek out new things and old, mysterious, civilizations"]].
* SixthRangerTraitor: Subverted. [[spoiler:Feide pretended to be free from Heidar's control to gain the party's trust to betray them latter, but after spending time with Crais and Sophie, she gained free will and decided to stay at their side.]]
* UnwantedHarem: Crais's companions quickly turn into one. And all of their motives are at odds.
