''Fenix Rage'' is a PlatformGame, developed by Costa Rican Green Lava Studios in Game Maker, published by Reverb Triple XP and released for [[Platform/IBMPersonalComputer PC]] on September 24th, 2014. It had eventually received an UpdatedRerelease titled ''[[AddedAlliterativeAppeal Fenix Furia]]'', which was ported to Platform/PS4 and Platform/XboxOne in June 2016.

In this game, the player controls a small blue creature with a love of cookies called Fenix, who finds his town and its inhabitants frozen solid by a cloaked villain Oktarus in the opening scene. Now, Fenix must go across the nine worlds inhabited by hundreds of minions to bring him to justice...and not forget to collect all the cookies he finds on the way!

!!Tropes present in this game:
* AdvancingBossOfDoom: The first boss, Buer, is a huge, speeding slime that cannot be fought, and can only be outrun through the level: eventually, it'll encounter a pit and fall down, while Fenix is able to climb up the nearby wall.
** Wrath battle functions very similarly at first, though things are complicated by the presence of small monsters patrolling vertically back and forth. However, it doesn't simply fall and die, but floats in the boss room, where it'll then detach pieces of its shell and send them charging at Fenix, while he needs to ensure they end up charging the walls at sufficient speeds to destroy themselves instead.
* BigBad: Oktarus, the mysterious cloaked antagonist who froze everyone in Fenix's town and controls the dark bosses that impede Fenix.
* BlobMonster: Played with during the cutscene introducing the first boss, Buer: Fenix confronts Oktarus for the first time, and they stare dramatically at each other. Between them, though, there's a tiny slime with cute eyes. Then, Oktarus blasts it with his magic, and it becomes truly enormous and starts chasing after Fenix.
* DeadlyDodging: Fenix needs to defeat Wrath in this manner (once he survives the linear chase from it, that is): the sin is represented by a fleshy orb with a solid outer core that consists of four quarter-circles, all of which detach and start chasing him in bursts. If one charges into the wall, it falls apart, and having all four of them collapse destroys the boss.
* DefeatEqualsExplosion: The ultimate fate of [[spoiler:Lilith, who gets ice-blue cracks running through her after Fenix defeats her, and then she finally explodes in a huge blue flash.]]
* DoomedHometown: The fate of Fenix's town in the opening. Unlike most examples, however, it gets frozen, rather than burned. [[spoiler:In the end, after Lilith is defeated and Oktarus is depowered, it melts and everyone is fine.]]
* DualBoss: During the [[spoiler: Oktarus's Faith]] battle, the previous boss, Baal, is now doubled and both will intently shoot at Fenix. He must ignore them and focus on the actual boss, which is an immobile node, protected only by a cage of pulsing green beams, and with nothing to counter Fenix with once dodges past them and starts pummelling it.
* ExtraEyes: Laikos is a floating orb with three eyes set in a triangle. However, it can apparently only see straight ahead (i.e. towards the screen) with it, and so is regularly forced to set them outside its body on stalks to actually notice Fenix and start shooting at him - at which point, he'll dash through the stalk and destroy the eye. The boss collapses once you destroy all three.
** Laikos Blak is an evolved version, which has four eyes, all of which are already set on stalks at its corners, and destroying them destroys it as well. However, it also constantly fires projectiles at a rate basic Laikos (and many gaming bosses in general) cannot match, so actually getting in a position to attack it is a challenge. Luckily, most of these only briefly freeze Fenix, with the actual lethal shots occasionally interspersed amongst them.
** Meat Baal has '''17''' eyes that we know of. It's possible he has just as many on his back, but we just don't get to see them due to the game's perspective. His rate of fire is also so great that he is not defeated - only survived until you escape to a checkpoint.
* GlowingEyes: Oktarus has eyes with eerie ice-blue glow. [[spoiler: Once you destroy his Faith in a battle and he loses the cloak, his eyes are still ice-blue and glowing, but now they are comically oversized and give off a completely different impression.]]
** The FinalBoss, [[spoiler:Lilith]], has eyes with a deep green glow during both of the battles it's encountered in.
* HarmlessFreezing: Laikos Blak fires a lot of icy projectiles that'll only briefly encase Fenix in an ice cube, but deal no actual damage. However, it fires actually lethal black projectiles as well, and with no specific tell - they just interspersed amongst the shower of icey shots, forcing you to pay careful attention regardless.
** In the end the same thing turns out to have happened to Fenix's village, as they get unfrozen at the end, and are all perfectly fine.
* HeelFaceTurn: After the battle when [[spoiler:Fenix destroys Oktarus' Faith, the former villain gets depowered and becomes old and pathetic. Later on, though, he uses his ice powers to completely freeze Lilith's skull form, even though it appears to have frozen him as well - the cutscene ends with it all collapsing into snow. After Fenix defeats Lilith's normal, vulnerable form in the second battle, however, Oktarus is revealed to have been fine, though missing an eye, and the two become friendly.]]
* HeroicMime: Fenix never speaks in the game. Then again, neither does anyone else.
* AnIcePerson: Oktarus' powers are clearly affiliated with ice, as seen when he both freezes Fenix's village in the opening and [[spoiler:freezes Lilith's skull monster alongside himself after his HeelFaceTurn]]. One of the boss monsters, Laikos Blak, also outright shoots a lot of ice projectiles.
* MirrorMatch: Up until the end, every boss is much larger than Fenix, but is also correspondingly slower and bulkier, resulting in classic "David vs. Goliath" fight where bosses attempt to overwhelm Fenix with relentless attacks and he must outsmart them instead. The final battle still features a boss like this, but it is also a sideshow, and the real target is [[spoiler:Lilith]], who is just as small as Fenix, and essentially just as mobile, with the same sort of an offensive dash move.
* OneHitpointWonder: Fenix dies instantly from anything that could damage him.
* RedEyesTakeWarning: Nearly every boss has red eyes with green pupils. Meat Baal is even introduced in a cutscene where Fenix finds himself in total darkness, and then four large red eyes open up one by one. Then, the camera zooms out, and we see that it has at least a dozen more. However, the FinalBoss has eerie green eyes instead.
* TertiarySexualCharacteristics: Lilith is marked as a girl by her long, pink hair, as she is otherwise the same species as Fenix.
* VideoGameDashing: Fenix's key move is the ability to dash through the air, which also destroys the weak walls in his path, as well as the bosses' weak points.
