3A VideoGameRemake of ''Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee'' developed by Just Add Water and the first game in the rebooted ''VideoGame/{{Oddworld}}'' quintology, it was first released for the Platform/PlayStation4 on July 22nd, 2014, before being ported to PC, Platform/XboxOne, Platform/PlayStation3, Platform/PlayStationVita, Platform/WiiU, Android, iOS and Platform/NintendoSwitch. A DLC for the game, ''Alf's Escape'', was also announced on July 11th, 2014, which adds an all-new area of Rupture Farms where Abe must rescue his buddy Alf, and came free with any preorders of the game in North America.

7* AntiFrustrationFeatures: Unlike the original game, there are multiple difficulty options, you can now Quicksave in addition to using the checkpoints, Abe can now command multiple Mudokons to follow him at once, bats can be killed with bottle caps or rocks, and Abe can take multiple hits before dying and replenish his health by chanting near birds, though the hardest difficulty of the game does make him a OneHitPointWonder like in the original game.

17* EnemyChatter: The Sligs now have more dialogue for patrolling, hearing things, opening fire, being possessed, gamespeak as one and killing Abe.
18* LighterAndSofter: Compared to the original ''Abe's Oddysee''. [=RuptureFarms=] is much cleaner, more futuristic and well-lit than in the original game, [[{{Bowdlerise}} the violence is toned down]] (for example, the Mudokon Pops now use the art from the Japanese version, which became standard since ''Exoddus''), and there is quite a bit more comedy added to the cutscenes.
19* RagdollPhysics: Characters who aren't killed by gibbing will immediately ragdoll upon death.
20* SaveScumming: The quicksave system introduced in ''Exoddus'' has been added to this game, allowing you to abuse is to your liking.
