Created by [[https://youtu.be/nb_6wUJ486w ThrillDaWill]], ''Mung Daal-Vietnam'' is a [[WesternAnimation/Chowder]] parody fangame.

Mung Daal is dropped off in the middle of the Vietnam jungle by a helicopter piloted by Chowder and Schnitzel. Armed with an AK-47, Mung Daal has to fight his way through a horde of Viet Cong soldiers to reach the captured Gazpacho.

!! ''Mung Daal-Vietnam'' Contains Examples Of:
* BottomlessMagazines: Mung Daal's AK-47 never has to be reloaded, and can fire endlessly. After finding the fatally wounded Gazpacho, Mung Daal can pick up an [=MG42=], which has the same infinite supply of bullets.
* ConcealmentEqualsCover: Not only are the thin wooden walls of the various huts bulletproof, but bamboo shafts and tree leaves will provide cover from gunfire. Oddly enough, these obstacles will actually bleed when shot, but they will protect anything behind them.
* CriticalExistenceFailure: Both Mung Daal and all the Viet Cong soldiers will be completely unbothered by every bullet that hits them until they're hit by the one that takes their HP to zero. Mung Daal stands out, in that it takes one hundred bullets to kill him, and the first ninety-nine don't affect him in the slightest.
* ExplodingBarrels: A few are set up throughout the level, which provide a handy way to instantly kill a few Viet Cong soldiers.
* FailureIsTheOnlyOption: You can't actually save Gazpacho. No matter how quickly you get to the second area, he'll be on the verge of death when you find him and Mung Daal will have to leave him behind.
* {{Gorn}}: Due to the bizarre bleeding effects, where even inanimate objects that are hit by gunfire spurt blood, there's a constant flow of blood from this game.
* ImprobableAimingSkills: All the Viet Cong soldiers are incredibly accurate shots, able to reliably hit Mung Daal from a great distance even when he's on the move. This works well to compensate for how many hit points Mung Daal starts the game with.
* IncrediblyDurableEnemies: Every Viet Cong soldier that Mung Daal runs into takes several shots to kill, even if hit with headshots, and have absolutely no reaction to getting hit by shots until they actually die.
* LifeMeter: Unlike most modern shooter games, Mung Daal has a life meter. He starts with a hundred hit points, every bullet he gets hit with takes off one hit point, and he dies when reaching zero. There are no health pickups or any way to increase the life meter once it goes down.
* PoliticallyIncorrectHero: When Mung Daal gets off the helicopter, the first thing he says (and his only line in the game) is "It's about time we teach these [[spoiler: chinks]] a lesson".
* RoaringRampageOfRevenge: Your initial mission is to rescue Gazpacho. Halfway through the game, however, you find Gazpacho fatally wounded, and a message appears on screen giving you a new mission, 'Kill'. In reality, your goal is to get to the helicopter to be picked up, although you will almost certainly have to kill several Viet Cong soldiers to get there.
* SuspiciouslyAproposMusic: On an initial spawn, [[Music/CreedenceClearwaterRevival Creedence Clearwater Revival's]] 'Run Through the Jungle' starts playing, which is exactly what Mung Daal does in the game.
* TakeUpMySword: Implied with Gazpacho's [=MG42=], which Mung Daal can take and use to kill the remaining Viet Cong soldiers. There's no difference in functionality between the two guns, however, so it makes no actual difference if you take it or not.
* TooYoungToDieLamentation: Gazpacho screams that he's too young (and beautiful) to die when Mung Daal finds him in the hut.
