You can call me Eryth, Mr President, Madam President or whatever name takes your fancy. Currently, I write for a living. I came up with this username when I was a teenager, but I don't have the motivation to create a new account with a different name I'm slightly uncomfortable with the nationalistic undertones of my usename, but I don't know a way of making it obvious that I'm not American.

If this page had a scent, it would be a cup of Earl Grey with a dash of milk, pistachio biscuitscookies in US English, a burning wood fire, and a hint of Poison Girl eu de toilette.

I'm happy to answer any biology related questions. I have an [=MSc=] in Microbiology. My personal belief is that you should know the rules before breaking them.

I recently drafted and launched ArtisticLicenceAnatomy. Licence is spelled correctly.

* ArtisticLicenceBiology: I can switch my brain off and enjoy the technobabble despite knowing it's inaccurate. However, my MST3KMantra only goes so far.
* BFG: Big. Fucking. Gun.
* BFS: Big. Fucking. Sword.
* BilingualBackfire: It can be PlayedForLaughs and PlayedForDrama. A great, versatile trope.
* CalmingTea
* Malaproper: There's something funny about deliberately getting your birds waddled.

* ActorShipping: I draw the line at shipping real people who are still alive.
* HaremGenre: They are rarely executed well. And the ones that are executed well are just not for me.
* MRSDegree: While there are people that do further education for the sole purpose of finding a spouse, this trope soured on me when someone accused me of doing the same.
* RealPersonFic: Only exception is CrackFic involving politicians.
* RealityTV: A lot of the shows of that genre that were popular when I was growing up tended to be exploitative and mean-spirited.
* SesquipedalianLoquaciousness: I see it as a lazy way of portraying a character as intelligent. I do like it if it's used to show a character is DumberThanTheyLook. Personally, I believe that true understanding of complex ideas is achieved when you can explain it to a layman.
* ShippingGoggles: I'm guilty of this sometimes, but I've learned that platonic relationships are as good (or better) than conventional shipping.
* WallOfText: Please, I'm begging you, think about your formatting if you're going to write something long.

* BladeOnAStick: A (blunted) lance was my weapon of choice when I did medieval re-enactment.
* BritsLoveTea: Some stereotypes exist for a reason. However, coffee and hot chocolate are just as good as tea.
* DidNotDoTheBloodyResearch: Found out the hard way that some slang in UK English turned out to be slurs in US English. I stopped using those words the moment I found out.
* DorkInASweater: I use Website/ThisVeryWiki and I like jumpers. If I don't want to make my own, store bought will do.
* GratuitousGerman: Studied Deutsch at A Level, and I liked to remind people of that.
* HiddenBuxom: I like to wear jumpers and loose-fitting clothing unless I'm going out out. Friends and colleagues have commented on this.
* IAmVeryBritish: I was accused of being posh while I was in the town I've lived in my whole life. It's not my fault I don't talk like a chav.
* LuckilyMyShieldWillProtectMe: During my re-enactment days I carried a shield that was almost as big as myself.
* MandelaEffect: I always read AluminumChristmasTrees as AluminiumChristmasTrees, and thought the latter was more prevalent.
* TheNightOwl
* PinkProductPloy: My toolset is bright pink so any handyman that borrows it is less inclined to steal it.
* TextileWorkIsFeminine: Due to an event where I was stuck at home for months, I learned to knit, crochet and embroider. Prior to that, I learned to sew so I could make the clothes I wore to medieval re-enactment battles.
* WhiteMage: When I worked as a cashier for a supermarket, a customer asked me if I was a white witch as the supermarket's gacha system gave them their shopping for free. If I am one, I probably give passive luck buffs.
* WhyDidItHaveToBeSnakes: I'm pretty fearless most of the time. The only exception is when I'm somewhere high up.

* A copy of the DS game Mind Quiz, which was recalled in my country for calling its player an ableist slur if they did poorly.
* A 12th Century-style shield

* Created and Launched ArtisticLicenceAnatomy.
* Took SexyWalk to TRS and came up with the rename SupermodelStrut.
* Took BuxomIsBetter to TRS and suggested the rename to BuxomBeautyStandard.
