* ApprovalOfGod:
** Creator/{{Disney}} and Creator/{{Pixar}} loved his remixes of various [[Franchise/DisneyAnimatedCanon Disney]] and Pixar animated films to the point that some of his remixes were briefly played at special events and parties held at [[Ride/DisneyThemeParks Disneyland and Walt Disney World]]. At one point, his ''Franchise/ToyStory'' and ''WesternAnimation/{{Up}}'' remixes were played inside Lamplight Lounge at Pixar Pier in Disney California Adventure Park. Pixar's official [=YouTube=] channel even uploaded his "Upular" remix the same day it was uploaded to Nick's [=YouTube=] channel.
** Brady Bluhm, who provided the voice of [[Franchise/WinnieThePooh Christopher Robin]] in ''WesternAnimation/PoohsGrandAdventure'', commented on Nick's music video titled "Boy & Bear" expressing how strongly he loved the remix of the 1997 film.
* BannedInChina: Not specifically his music, but Nick himself was banned from America in 2011 due to not having a proper work visa. He spent three weeks in custody and was prohibited from entering the US for a decade.
* CreatorBacklash:
** Nick once stated on a livestream that he doesn't like his second and lesser-known remix of ''Film/AIArtificialIntelligence'', "Just Blue Fairy", because of how downtempo and slow it is.
** He also said in another livestream that he has grown to dislike his [[ExecutiveMeddling perpetually unreleased]] ''Franchise/PiratesOfTheCaribbean'' remix "Swashbuckle" due to how poor the song's mix is, stating that he essentially has to remaster it from the ground up when playing it live.
** He uploaded a video of him showcasing his ''really'' old tracks (from before he even had a [=YouTube=] channel) and [[SelfDeprecation making fun of them]]. He doesn't really care for these tracks.
** He's also voiced his eventual discomfort with his original [=YouTube=] username, "Fagottron", as he created it when he was much younger and had no intention for it to be offensive, seeing it in the same sense as "Dickottron". He has reportedly gone to [=YouTube=] to ask them to change his channel name, which they advised against (seeing it as systematically impossible) since changing the channel name would effectively change every linked URL of one of his videos.
* ExecutiveMeddling: Currently being essentially held hostage by Disney; any Disney-related remixes have to be commissioned by them with secured rights, or they'll sue him. This is the main reason several of his mixes, including his ''Franchise/PiratesOfTheCaribbean'' remix "Swashbuckle", will never see the light of day.
* MilestoneCelebration: Nick did [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PUon3SvWfZs a remix]] of Advertising/MAndMs commercials for the brand's 75th anniversary.
* PlayingAgainstType: A non-acting variant; Nick [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hdts8XfaOuc made a video]] on how people were giving him backlash for his ''Film/PulpFiction'' remix (which was his first remix of a mature film) when all of the remixes he'd done up to that one were kid-friendly.
* ThrowItIn: One time, when Nick finished making a song, he hadn't really had a title in mind. Out of sheer boredom, he named the song "Oh Good, I Found Some Lint".
* WhatCouldHaveBeen:
** Since Disney has to commission all remixes of their movies or else they'll sue the creators, his ''[[Franchise/PiratesOfTheCaribbean PotC]]'' remix "Swashbuckle" will probably never be released.
** He's uploaded several unfinished tracks, including [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UWWQ33Q3umw "IR Drunkard Pixie"]], which is strangely a mix of not one, but [[RuleOfThree THREE]] sources.
