* ActingForTwo:
** Tech and Slam are both voiced by Creator/KevinMichaelRichardson.
** In the French dub, Duck and Slam are both voiced by Creator/EmmanuelGarijo (who later became the French voice of both WesternAnimation/DaffyDuck and Taz following the passing of their previous voice actor Patrick Guillemin in 2011).
* BillingDisplacement: The episodes list the voice actors in alphabetical order, rather than order of importance. This results in Creator/CharlieSchlatter (voice of Ace) being billed ''last'' despite being the main character.
* CreatorBacklash: [[Creator/WarnerBrosAnimation Warner Bros]] sees the series as a project they would like to forget. Notably, out of all the ''Looney Tunes'' series that aren't licensed out to other networks[[note]]''WesternAnimation/{{Animaniacs}}'', ''WesternAnimation/PinkyAndTheBrain'' (though they did on Cartoon Network in the very late 90s and early 2000s), or ''WesternAnimation/TinyToonAdventures'' prior to 2020[[/note]] or just installment/anthology series[[note]] ''[[WesternAnimation/TheBugsBunnyRoadRunnerShow The Bugs Bunny Show]]'', ''That's Warner Bros.'', ''The Plucky Duck Show'', ''The Big Cartoonie Show'', etc.[[/note]] this is the only one that Creator/{{Boomerang}} outright '''refuses''' to rerun or add to their streaming service. Well, at least in the United States.
** The only acknowledgements the series gets are negative, as it was given a TakeThat in ''[[WesternAnimation/WabbitALooneyTunesProduction New Looney Tunes]]'', ''WesternAnimation/TeenTitansGo'', and ''WesternAnimation/Animaniacs2020''.
** Sam Register, president of Warner Bros. Animation, once described the show's designs as "a reminder of what not to do."
* FollowTheLeader: Most egregiously to the 2003 ''WesternAnimation/{{Teen Titans|2003}}'' series, another animated Warner Bros. property that found popularity with its stylized aesthetic and more free-form interpretations of its older characters.
* KeepCirculatingTheTapes: Considering its CreatorBacklash by WB, has not arrived on Creator/HBOMax yet (it ''is'' available on the Latin American version, though), and the season box sets have long since been out of print, meaning the only way to get them is through secondhand sites like [=eBay=]. Thankfully, the entire series is available for purchase on Amazon Prime (in HD to boot!)
* NoExportForYou: This series wasn't broadcast in Japan. This is especially relevant here because this series was one of the very few ''Franchise/LooneyTunes'' related things (including WWII-era anti-Japanese propaganda like ''WesternAnimation/BugsBunnyNipsTheNips'', and very old public domain shorts pre-WWII) which didn't get either dubbed or broadcast in that country.
* RecycledScript: [[spoiler:The second season has two episodes, "Secrets of the Guardian Strike Sword" and "In the Pinkster," which both use the premise of [[SixthRangerTraitor hero's friend is actually a traitor]]. '''Three''' if you count "The Heir Up There".]]
* RenamedToAvoidAssociation: An early promo introduced the six-member squad of superheroes lead by Buzz Bunny. After the creators learned that "Buzz Bunny" was also the name of a women's personal vibrator in the United Kingdom, the character was renamed Ace Bunny.
* TheOtherDarrin:
** Massive was originally voiced by Creator/MichaelClarkeDuncan, but he is instead voiced by Creator/KevinMichaelRichardson for his cameo in "The Hunter".
** Mr. Leghorn goes from being voiced by Creator/BillFarmer in "Stop the World, I Want to Get Off" to being voiced by Creator/RobPaulsen in "The Music Villain".
* PlayingAgainstType
** Creator/KharyPayton, known for voicing heroic/good natured characters like [[WesternAnimation/TeenTitans2003 Cyborg]] and [[WesternAnimation/TheLionGuard Rafiki]], voices General Deuce, a villain.
** Creator/FlorenceHenderson, best known as Carol Brady from ''Series/TheBradyBunch'', plays the villainous Mallory Mastermind.
* SimilarlyNamedWorks: "A Creep in the Deep" shares a title with an episode of ''WesternAnimation/ChipNDaleRescueRangers''.
* TroubledProduction
** According to animator Chris Duncan, the show had an absolutely insane production schedule that seriously affected the show's quality:
--->"We had to finish an episode a week and the [=BGs=] were mostly giant city pans. So I finally made a library of stuff we could just plug in. It was nuts."
** Showrunner Ron Myrick said in an interview that Christian and Yvon Tremblay were very particular about how the show was being run, despite the fact they were only the art directors and not actual showrunners. Highlights include them demanding Warner Bros letting them be as dark as they could get for a Saturday morning cartoon and demanding the show be written for a demographic much older than the average Kids WB viewer:
--->"[Warner Bros.] wanted their art, not their vision."
* WhatCouldHaveBeen:
** The main characters originally had [[http://www.animatedviews.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/Original-Loonatics.jpg different designs]]. The most notable differences include Ace Bunny having noticeable buck teeth and Rev Runner being colored blue instead of red.
** There were changes in powers, as well, if the series announcement was any indication. Duck was originally going to be a marksman with sonar powers (yes, shooting guns), while Tech's original powerset didn't seem to include the later electromagnetism.
** Ace, Rev, Tech and Slam were originally named Buzz, Roadster, Slick and Spaz respectively. Early drafts of scripts also have Rev with the surname of ''Rocket'' instead of ''Runner''.
** Zadavia was originally named Maxima, as seen in the [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mIIpJPiRjQM teaser]].
* WorkingTitle: According to early design sheets, the show was originally just called ''The Loonatics''.
